"Two months after the particle accelerator explosion, things are only getting crazier with our friendly neighborhood web-slinger." The Watcher said as he eyed the city and all the challenges coming. "A good man turned into an enemy, a brother in a coma, not even close to discovering who his family is...and a love that has the possibility to blossom."

After that incident the other night between Peter and Max, the entire city turned into a panic with what they saw the unnamed vigilante and the recently named Electro do last night.

At the police department, George Stacy was giving his statement off of what had occurred the other night while the reporters badgered him with questions.

"Settle down, boys, settle down," George tells everyone and they start to do just that. "Listen. At approximately 8 pm last night, an incident took place downtown."

In the Parker household, Peter was finishing up his breakfast before getting ready to head for school. "Much of what occurred is merely speculation at this point. However, several eyewitnesses to the crime and our own officers, and our own preliminary findings have positively placed one individual at the scene. Which is why, this morning, I am issuing an arrest warrant for this masked vigilante."

Peter heard the commotion going on after that announcement, but felt angered that even when they saw Max, they heard him say his name, they blamed him.

Annoyed by this, he got up and walked away as he grabbed his bag before leaving the house. His sudden departure caused May to look to Peter before looking back at the tv, wondering what caused him to act like that all suddenly.

That same morning at the hospital, Otto Octavius was finally getting his treatment that took a month to prepare for. After the strange blackouts that kept happening with Barry Allen around, they couldn't risk anything to do with special equipment. But now that he was taken to STAR Labs for treatment, they were able to perform the surgery.

"Okay, as you see here, molten metal penetrated the spinal cavity and fused the vertebrae at multiple points, including the laminate and the roof of the spinal column. We won't know the extent of the damage until we get these arms off." The head doctor told the team as they worked their way around the jungle of mechanical arms to make it inside.

As soon as they started up the saw to start drilling through the arms, one of them immediately came to life and tossed the doctor around the room. That was followed by an immediate attack on the rest of the doctors around the room.

Everyone started to panic as they tried to run away, only to be flung into the medical equipment, across the room, into the walls, or even into the lighting. The arms were relentless on all of the doctors as they attacked.

The doctors were all slaughtered as the Doctor was awakened to look and wonder where he was. "What...where...where am I?"

Freaking out, he raced out of the lab and to the nearest doors, using his arms to slam the doors open. He made it into the street when a car came speeding by and slammed on the brakes but didn't stop fast enough and was sent flying by the arms.

"Well...this is a surprise!" A voice said, causing Otto to spin around and one of the arms looked over to who talked, and Otto gasped at the sight of the man.

After school ended, Peter and Gwen met back up at the bleachers for the football court and he showed her the spider that hit him.

"It's incredible." Gwen complimented the dead spider in a container.

"Yeah, a heck of a bite in it," Peter commented as she rubbed the spider's bite that he received from it.

Gwen nodded and figured as much. "Wasn't this one of the spiders from that trip?"

"Yeah, very same," Peter confirmed. "Must've snuck on me during Otto's presents."

"Does...anyone else know about this?" Gwen wonders. "Like...May or anyone?"

Peter denied that and started to freak out. "No. Definitely not, if she knew about this, she would flip. She wouldn't let me continue working like this if she knew people were gonna be trying to kill me."

Gwen nodded and knew May was protective of her nephew. "What about that guy last night? Any idea who he was?"

"Max Dillon," Peter informed her. "A worker for STAR Labs at the time of the explosion."

"He works for the same place that explodes and happens to get powers?" Gwen asks, seeing there's a connection.

"Yeah, but now I lost him. I tried to calm him down, but now I don't know where to find him." Peter told her, seeing he now had an entire night to find a place to hide. "You...you don't believe what the police are saying, are you?"

"God, no." Gwen easily denied before going to her questions. "Does it scare you? What you can do?"

Peter chuckled and nodded. "Yeah. Big time. I mean...these powers...they're incredible, but they're scary."

"You've got to lay low," Gwen warns Peter. "If the police are looking for you, they're not gonna stop."

"I can't do that." Peter was sorry to say. "Last night, an officer almost died if I didn't intervene. Max would've killed them. So...I gotta find him. I gotta try and help him."

"That's not your job." Gwen reminded Peter.

"Maybe...maybe it is," Peter told her. "Maybe that's why I was given these powers."

Gwen nodded and saw he was taking this as his responsibility like his uncle would have wanted him to do.

"So...last night..." Peter tried to take the conversation off of the vigilante stuff and go to what's been on his mind all night. "I kissed you."

Gwen blushed at the reminder and smiled. "Well, I kind of remember I was the one who allowed you to do it."

Peter chuckled and blushed again. "Yeah, it was...it was pretty good."

"Well...it was good for me, too," Gwen confessed.

The two then leaned in and kissed one another, this time with no rush, and just enjoyed the moment. Just the two of them. Just then, a football went flying at them, Peter put his hand to catch it when someone came in and caught it before he could catch it.

Looking up, Peter saw it was Bobby who saved them from the incoming projectile.

"Sorry to interrupt, I was just passing through," Bobby told them as he held the ball and tossed it back. "Don't let me stop you." He then started to make his way down the stairs and gave Peter a thumbs up on his way down.

Peter rolled his eyes but knew that Bobby meant no harm and was happy for him. But that's when his phone went off and saw a crime in progress.

"Sorry to kiss and run, but I have to go." Peter apologizes to Gwen.

"Yeah, of course, go," Gwen told him and Peter sneaks off so nobody notices he's left.

At the scene of the crime that Peter was tipped off about, there was a jewelry robbery in progress. Joe West and Eddie Thawne pulled up as Eddie went around back and the thief came out on Joe's exit.

"Freeze!" Joe called out as Peter came swinging in and landed on the hood of his car.

"Hey, sir." Peter greeted him as they looked over to the robber.

The robber jumped at the two, wearing the jewels he had just stolen, and carried a gun with a Santa hat on his head. "Hold it! I...I've got a gun! With real bullets inside!"

That got both the hero and cop to look confused and Peter just stood on the roof, becoming more relaxed as he figured this guy wasn't a professional at this. "Buddy, answer this honestly: have you ever held a gun before?"

"Yes!" He stated as he swapped hands and tilted his gun. "This isn't my first heist!"

"You are aware criminals don't wear what they stole, right?" Joe asked him.

The thief looked over himself and sighed. "I forgot a bag, okay? Listen, I'm only taking the ethically sourced conflict-free diamonds. No blood diamonds for me, thank you very much!"

Peter couldn't believe this and sighed before looking at Joe. "You mind?"

Joe shrugged and saw this as an easy finish. "Be my guest."

Peter shot several webs at the thief, starting with his gun so he didn't accidentally shoot it off. That was followed off by subduing his arms and legs so he couldn't go anywhere.

"He's all yours, sir." Peter saluted the officer before jumping and started to climb away, wondering what was going to happen next.

Max stumbled through the streets of Central City in a hoodie he picked out of the garbage that was green and yellow at the hips. As he made his way up to the steps and reached for the door, two figures came up behind him.

"Max Dillon." Yuri Watanabe calls out as a doctor was right next to her. "We need you to come with us."

"Leave me alone," Max told them.

"Max, you need to come with us." The doctor with her tells Max. "We need to get you to a hospital."

"The last hospital I was in sent me to the morgue." Max reminded the two. "I just want to go home."

"Pretty sure that's not an option right now," Yuri informed him. "Right now, the only options you have are hospital or prison cell. Your call."

Max started to become irritated after hearing that and his electricity fried the doorknob. His anger seemed to be fueling his power as he turned to face them. "My call?! None of this has been my call!" He then sent out a small shockwave that sent the doctor and Yuri flying backward. "You can't help me. None of you can." That's when he took his eyes off them and over across the bridge to see STAR Labs in the distance. "But I know who can..."

Peter made it back home and just walked into the door to see his aunt and Anna May in the living room.

"Oh, hey, Peter. We were just about to get ready for dinner. You think you will be able to join us?" May asked.

Peter sighed and was hoping he could avoid being stuck meeting this mysterious niece of Anna May's and avoid the whole meeting. Maybe he'll be stuck fighting another villain popping up so that he can't make it.

Yet again, maybe he's just overreacting and should just stop for a moment and at least get to meet her. She's moved to a new town and could use a friend in a new city.

"Sure, I'll see what's going on." Peter supposed, thinking its time he could stop and get to know her. Maybe she's better than he's suspecting.

At STAR Labs, Harrison Wells was in his wheelchair and watching over the sleeping Barry Allen. Cisco and Caitlin were around but taking some time off. Seeing as he was alone, Eobard Thawne let his true natures show as he stood up from his wheelchair.

"You look so young, Barry Allen." He then got up and vibrated his hand. "And I could kill you. It'd be so easy." He then stopped and strolled around the bed. "What I would have given to have you like this all those times before. So... helpless. But fate is tricky. I come here to destroy you, and to go home I have to be the one who creates you. And I will say... it's been an education. Watching you grow up over the years: soccer games, science fairs. And I'm not gonna lie, I wondered what happened to your brother. He was supposed to be there. Here, that is." He then sighed and started to mess with the instruments to adjust for his speedster biology. "He was supposed to be your silent partner...that I killed." He then looked over to Barry with a smile. "That's what led me to figure out who you were. Barry Allen. But now the contracts of what I did has now changed everything. But nothing has changed, and I will kill you."

That's when alerts started to go off and he zoomed back into his chair before Cisco and Caitlin came in.

"Dr. Wells. Someone is here." Caitlin ran in and they turned to the screens that showed the security footage Cisco pulled up.

"Harrison Wells! I know you're here!" Max screamed into the cameras and saw none of them were going to open the doors and just blasted them open.

Peter was getting ready to meet Anna May's niece at dinner when his phone went off. Looking over to his phone, he saw it was a notice from his police scanner, saying Max Dillon has been spotted near STAR Labs.

Working fast, Peter grabbed his mask and placed it on before grabbing his web-shooters, grabbing spare web cartridges just in case. He then puts on the rest of his suit and knows he's probably going to miss dinner.

Downstairs, May and Anna May were preparing for dinner. The two were happy that they might be able to get their kids to meet one another.

"How is Mary Jane doing in school?" May asked Anna May.

"She's doing fine, I guess. I just worry, she's not exactly Ms. Popular." Anna May was sorry to say.

"Maybe she and Peter could be friends. He's sweet, kind. So, the two of them might end up being friends." May held a positive attitude when an idea came to her mind. "Oh, didn't you say she knew how to dance?"

"Oh, she hasn't done that in years." Anna May warned her.

"Well, Peter told me of this dance that he was going to try and avoid at school..." May said with that coy smile that Peter loathed and knew it meant something bad. "Maybe we could get the two of them to go together?"

"Oh, that would be a good way for her to interact with others, as well as a way for them to get to know each other." Anna liked that idea as there was a knock at the door and Anna May smiled. "That must be her."

"I'll go get Peter," May said as she figured he was wrapped up in a project somewhere. She went up the stairs and knocked on his door. "Peter? Mary Jane's here." When she didn't get a response, she wondered why he wasn't answering. "Peter?" She then opened the door and was surprised to discover that he wasn't in there. "Where could he have gone?"

A few miles out of the city was where Peter currently was and the direction he was heading in. Making his way over to STAR Labs as quickly as possible. He was sorry he had to jump and run like that, but who knows who was still at STAR Labs.

Meanwhile, Max started to make his way through the labs and wondered where everyone is. "Come on, where are you?!" He then walked into the cortex and saw Barry in the middle of the room. "This your new pet project, Harrison?" He then walked towards the coma patient and caused some of the equipment to start frying.

"Hey, lightning butt!" Peter cried, getting Max to turn and get his attention, and Max saw him hanging on the ceiling. "I know it's not really a cure, but how about a chill pill to calm down."

"You again?!" Max asked in shock.

"Yeah," Peter said as he dropped down and around the coma patient, feeling his senses go off for some reason. "Look, I want to help you. I understand you." He held his hand out for Max to take. "Come on, let me help."

"You wanna hold my hand?" Max asked as he held his hand out and immediately shocked Peter, sending him flying. "Like this, I'm not Max Dillion. Now...I'm...what did you call me?"

"Lightning butt?" Peter asked, trying to remember.

"No, not that!" Max cried in anger. "I'm Electro!" He then sent several blasts out and fried some of the equipment with the coma patient.

Peter started to see he needed to get him out of here and got a crazy idea. Shooting a strand of webbing at the ceiling, followed by one to Max's back, he yanked the two of them to the ceiling.

"Come on, let's take this thing outside!" Peter cried as he got the two of them out and webbed the piece of ceiling back into the place it belongs.

Cisco and Caitlin came out of hiding as Wells came in from the other room, all of them shocked at what happened while Caitlin was worried for the patient.

"What the hell was that?"

Back with Peter, he landed on the ceiling and saw Max conducting power from the metal and saw he needed to stop him before he became too powerful. Webbing a piece of rubble from the accelerator explosion and started to swing it around.

"All right then, Electro! If you wanna vent..." Peter said as he sent the debris flying towards Max. "Then vent this!"

The debris made contact with Max, sending him stumbling back, but miraculously unharmed. Growling in anger, Max sent a blast of electricity towards Peter and causing him to dodge by leaping and landing on the tall thing on the roof.

"Vent this?" Peter asked himself as he crawled higher up to dodge the attacks. "That was terrible, even for me."

Max sent several more blasts at Peter, causing him to leap off the wrecked piece and tried to come up with an idea while trying not to die. Peter went for another chance to web him, only for it to backfire and shock him. Luckily, he updated his web-shooters so that this time they wouldn't be fried.

Max then noticed that the STAR Labs van was driving off and groaned. While he was distracted, Peter took the time to wrap him up in his webbing.

"And that's a wrap!" Peter stated with a smile. "That's more I like it!"

Max then broke through the webbing with his powers and turned to Peter. "You let my chance of a cure escape!"

"Dude, there is no cure!" Peter informed him. "We're not easily cured. And even if we were, would you want to be? Okay, that's a bad question."

Back inside, the rooms were quiet when Peter was slammed into it with help from Electro. Peter got back up and groaned as he realized he fell into an engineering lab. Getting a quick idea, he grabbed a pair of rubber gloves in the room and puts them on.

"This time, the gloves are off!" Max said as he slammed the ground, sending a shockwave of electricity.

Peter leaped to avoid the blast and placed the gloves on. "Funny, I was going to say the gloves are now on!" As Max made his way inside, Peter punched him in the face, the rubber stopping his electricity from hurting him or frying his gadgets. "Ha! Can't dish in..."

Before he had time to finish that statement, he was backhanded by Max by sending a blast at him. Peter used the gloves to stop the blast from hitting him but didn't do much in the case of shielding him from the impact of the wall. He slammed into the wall and groaned from the pain.

"Why did I open my mouth?" Peter asked before he dodged another blast and crawled around the ceiling.

"You think that you can hide from me here?!" Max asked with a chuckle. "I know every crank and crony of this place! There's nowhere to hide!"

Peter crawled as fast as he could around the building and hid in the dark corners as he tried to think. "Think, Peter...his power is electricity, so he has the same weaknesses as electricity. Overload a battery, it explodes. But...that would most likely kill him. So, let's avoid that if possible. But...if you throw a battery into a source of water, it douses itself." He then got an idea and knew he just needed to get Max back outside the same way they came in. "Come on, Maximus, Maximona! Follow the leader!"

Max looked back and watched Peter running back down the hall he came from, passing a giant cage he missed on his way in: GRODD.

"Strange name," Peter commented as he kept running. "Come on, Max!"

"Stop calling me that!" Max cried as Peter leaped outside the hole and was followed by Max, using his powers as a boost to leap out. But before he had even the chance to land, Peter swung in and kicked Max. Once he was sent flying into the river, he sent out a giant wave of energy that sent the water flying and releasing a lot of steam.

Before he could drown, however, Peter leaped down and rescued him. Once he was safe and webbed up, Peter dropped him off at the police station to hope that he could be helped.

This was all he could do. He did all that he can do for Max.

Once he returned home, he saw nobody around and knew dinner was long past and everyone went home by now. Sorry to say he missed meeting Mary Jane, after all that work to prepare for it. Relaxing in his bed, he sighed and got some long-needed sleep.
