Peter was laying against his computer system after his brother just finished saving the day again.

"What do you say we call it a night, man?" Peter asked his brother while yawning and getting up. "I gotta get home to Liz. And something tells me Iris is waiting for you."

"Yeah, sure. I'll do one more run around the city before calling it quits myself." Barry promised through the speaker.

"See ya tomorrow," Peter said and hung up.

Walking out of the halls from STAR Labs, Peter whistled to himself just as his phone started to ring. Looking down, he recognized the caller and answered it.

"Hello, honey." Peter greeted his wife as he pulled the keys to his car out.

"Hey, Petey. Are you coming home? Someone here seems to be missing you." Liz informed Peter as he heard crying in the background.

"Put her on, why don't you?" Peter tells Liz and hears the whimpers from his baby girl. "Hey, sweetie."

Seems the sound of his voice was all it took as the baby started to squeal and gave up on crying.

"Will be a good girl for daddy? I'll be home in five minutes. Just in time to get you to bed." Peter promises the little girl.

"We'll hold you to that," Liz promised him. "Love you."

"Love you, too. See you in a bit." Peter said as he hung up.

Getting to his car, Peter puts his phone in his pocket and reached for the door. Just when he did, a gust of wind passed him. That caused Peter to drop his keys and lean down to pick them up.

"Peter Allen." A disoriented voice said, causing Peter to flinch and turn around.

When he turned around, what he saw was a shocking and fearful sight. The Reverse-Flash. Barry's long-time enemy that always manages to slip away at the last minute. The name was Peter's idea, considering how he was the reverse of everything Barry stood for.

"I've been looking for you." Reverse Flash told Peter.

Before Peter could react or anything, Reverse-Flash punched him and sent Peter skidding across the car. He rolled across the roof of his car and was sent falling and dropping against the hard street.

Groaning in pain, Peter quickly began to crawl away and tried to grab his phone to send the distress signal. But before he could, Reverse-Flash sped across and stepped on his phone.

"What...what do you want?" Peter asked him, trying to play innocence.

"You know what I want." Reverse Flash stated, not buying his act of innocence. "The Flash to suffer."

He then sent another punch, sending Peter flying into his car and smashing the window. Peter felt the blood coming from his head as he tried to crawl away again.

But before he could get far, the Reverse-Flash came over and picked him up by the collar of his shirt. "Let's go for a run, shall we?"

Reverse-Flash then sped Peter around the city, tossing him down several streets and slamming him into several different cars before tossing him back into the STAR Labs parking lot.

Peter then looked to see Reverse-Flash was still gone. Taking the minute, he pushed the phone and sent the distress signal. Just then, the Reverse-Flash came walking over and his hand was vibrating.

"Forgive me. But from my perspective...you've already been dead for centuries." Reverse Flash said as he sped and impaled his hand through Peter's chest.

Reverse-Flash then saw his job was done and sped off to leave the man to die. Just a few seconds after he left, Barry sped up and was in his futuristic suit and saw his brother.

"Peter!" Barry cried as he ran over and kneeled to check for a pulse. "Gideon, contact the nearest hospital. I'm bringing him in!"

With that, he picked up his brother and sped off towards the hospital. But by the time that he got Peter there, it was far from too late.

Peter was gone...

CURRENT TIMELINE

2014

"Two brothers separated for life, finally reunited after all these years." The Watcher commented as the next day, Barry and Peter were talking to one another in Jitters. "But yet again, maybe that was for the better. You've seen what Thawne had done to Barry before traveling back in time. In the original timeline, there was no Spider-Man, no Iceman, nobody but the Flash...but all of that changed."

Peter and Barry were talking, having a good time getting to know one another. Barry told Peter how it was growing up with Joe West and his daughter, who was his best friend. And Peter told Barry what it was like growing up with Mary, Richard, Ben, and May.

Barry was happy to hear he was raised in a loving and caring household. All of them.

Then there was one question that Peter really wanted to be answered. "Barry?"

"Yeah?" Barry asked him.

"Our mother...what was she like?" Peter wondered.

He had already met his father, but his mother was someone he never got to meet. Seems Barry never expected that answer to come from him but understood where he was coming from.

"She..." Barry tried to find the perfect words to describe "She was a caring, gentle, and kind woman. She loved us both. Couldn't wait to see the man you would grow up to be."

Peter smiled, wishing he had the chance to meet her. "I wish there was a way I could have met her."

"So do I," Barry said with a smile.

"Hi, Barry!" Iris West greeted as she came over and saw the two of them.

"Iris. Hey." Barry greeted his friend, giving the name drop for Peter, seeing he now know who she is. "How have you been?"

"Great. Who's your friend?" Iris asked and looked over to Peter.

Barry knew that this was going to be a shocking discovery to unveil. "Iris, this is...Peter."

Iris looked shocked as she looked over at Peter and Barry. "As in..."

"Yeah," Barry confirmed with a smile.

"Oh my god!" Iris cheered, looking over Peter for the first time in years. The last she saw of him; he was just a baby. Now here he stood before her as a young man. "It's so great to finally meet you!"

Peter had to flinch due to her loud voice coming from this girl and could tell she was very excitable. "Nice to meet you, too."

"She's the daughter of Joe," Barry explained since Joe and Peter already met earlier the same day.

"I'd love to get to know you, but I need to get to work," Iris said and waved them off. "I look forward to getting to know you later, Peter."

"Same here," Peter said to her with a smile. That was when a call came in and Peter saw it was MJ, causing him to throw it on the table. "Ugh. May!"

"What?" Barry wonders what the matter.

"It's about this girl that lives next door," Peter explained to his brother. "We went on one...I guess you can say a date, and now I can't seem to figure out what to do."

"What do you mean?" Barry wonders.

"I always need to run off due to my job at the Daily Bugle, and that can be taken as rude by most." Peter tried to explain to him.

"Who's this girl?" Barry wonders.

"Mary Jane Watson," Peter confesses.

"Nice name," Barry commented. "Have you explained this to her?"

"Well, she knows because I had to abandon her at the dance," Peter admitted.

"Then why don't you two try and make it work?" Barry asked, already giving relationship advice to his brother.

Peter then had flashbacks to his last relationship with Gwen and how it ended. "I don't have the best luck with girls."

"Well, welcome to the club," Barry muttered to himself, knowing exactly what he was referring to. "But isn't it worth the risk to have someone special in your life?"

Peter took a moment to think over the advice when his phone went off and he looked at it.

"Is it her again?" Barry wonders.

"No, it's Bobby this time. Said we can raincheck on that movie we were gonna see if we were gonna hang out today." Peter said and was getting ready to text him back.

"Well, hey, you can still go," Barry assured him before getting an idea. "How about I go with you? Give me a chance to meet this friend of yours?"

Peter thought of it and saw it as a nice time to spend together. "Sure, why not?" He then sent Bobby a text. "I'll let him know it's on."

With Bobby, he spent his day with Caitlin, since she was usually busy with her comatose patient it was a nice change of pace. Now that he was awake, she had some more free time to spend with her cousin.

They spent the day just taking it easy, relaxing, and watching bad tv sitcoms that were on at the time. At lunch, they went out and that's when Bobby shot Peter the text.

While they were eating, Bobby got his response. "Oh, it looks like Peter is free to see the movie today."

"Oh, that's great. You can go." Caitlin assured him as she finished her Big Belly Burger.

"Well, I thought we were gonna spend the day together," Bobby replied, feeling bad to leave his cousin on her own. But then an idea came to his mind. "Hey, why don't you come with us?"

"Really?" Cairns asked. "You want me at your bro-hang?"

Bobby felt pain flowing through him after hearing that. "Okay, first off, never say that again." Caitlin chuckled at that as Bobby sighed in exhaustion. "And second, sure, Peter's bringing his brother, so it'd be an even for us both."

"I don't know..." Caitlin said, not on board with the idea. "What movie are you seeing?"

"We're gonna either catch the LEGO Movie or Big Hero 6," Bobby answered her.

Caitlin heard about both those movies and decided it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. "Fine."

When Peter and Barry arrived at the theater, they bought the tickets to the movie that were available for the four of them. Barry was in line to get snacks and drinks for the film while Peter was waiting for Bobby and Caitlin to arrive.

"Peter!" Bobby called out as Peter saw them approach.

"Hey, man." Peter greeted his friend and smiled at him. "Glad to see you made it."

"Yeah, hope it's okay I brought my cousin," Bobby told him.

"Hey, I'm glad to finally meet her," Peter replied, hearing a lot about his cousin. When he looked over, he was surprised to say he recognized her from STAR Labs. On the day of his field trip, she was there working in one of the labs.

"Hi, I'm Caitlin Snow." Caitlin greeted Peter. "I'm glad to see Bobby has found a friend who accepts him."

"What can I say? I've seen worse." Peter joked, earning a chuckle from the two of them.

"So where's your brother?" Bobby asked Peter.

"Getting snacks," Peter said as Barry approached. "We're in theater 3, Big Hero 6 was the only one available."

"Sounds good to me," Bobby said.

"Alright, I got us snacks, and trays, we should be good," Barry said as he approached them and saw Bobby. "Hi, I'm Barry."

"Barry?" Caitlin asked, causing Barry to turn and face her.

"Caitlin?" Barry was shocked to see her here.

"You two know each other?" Peter asked them.

"She was my doctor while I was in a coma," Barry tells Peter, causing him to send a stern look toward Bobby.

"Hey, how the heck was I supposed to know they were the same people?" Bobby defended, never knowing it was Peter's brother his cousin was looking after.

"Looks like we're gonna be seeing a lot of each other." Barry joked before turning to them. "We gotta go."

"Peter?" A familiar voice called and Peter looked to see it was Mary Jane Watson, holding some popcorn and a drink.

"Is anyone else showing up here?" Bobby asked as he spun and looked around for anyone else that they knew.

"MJ? What are you doing here?" Peter asked her.

"Well, seeing a movie obviously." MJ shrugged, feeling that was obvious.

"Right." Peter smacked himself for not seeing the obvious. "So what are you seeing?"

"Big Hero 6," MJ answered. "What can I say? I'm a sucker for Disney films."

Peter laughed at that. "I say the same thing."

"So that's MJ?" Barry asked Bobby in shock. He didn't know what he was expecting, but he wasn't expecting...that.

"Yeah. We all thought the same thing at first." Bobby assured him. "How did he blackmail her to go out with him? But I already questioned her, she seems nice."

"Hey, do you mind if I sat with you guys for the movie?" MJ asked them. "I just don't have anyone with me and don't wanna sit alone."

"Well..." Peter was gonna say when Barry interrupted.

"Sure!" Barry stopped Peter from speaking. "We're all here, it'd be nice to get to know you."

"Nice," MJ said when she then looked at Barry. "And you are...?

"I'm Peter's brother," Barry said, holding his hand out for her to shake.

"Brother?" MJ asked before shaking his hand and turning to Peter. "Gee, Tiger, you're full of surprises. Luckily for you..." she then leaned in closer to his ear. "I love surprises."

With that, she walked ahead of them to reach the screening room and left a very confused Peter.

"Tiger?" Caitlin was curious to understand.

"Just sone nickname she gave me." Peter shrugged it off and shook off her comment before the four of them followed her.

The Watcher eyed them with a smile on his face. "These heroes have a long journey ahead of them, but as long as they remain on the correct path, they will have the same love as their doppelgängers. Just not with the people they were expecting..."
