AN: And we are back! I did not think that chapter would get that much attention. Honestly, I didn't have plans on continuing it, but apparently if I don't people will riot. So here we are, back with another chapter. So without further adieu let's just jump into it!

Rebirth

This was every parent's worst nightmare, it had now been 4 years since Izuku disappeared and there was still no word of him.

The day Toru came knocking at her door Inko went to the police station, the local hero agency, and every one of Izuku's favorite places just to see if they'd seen him.

But alas there was nothing, and Inko's heart was broken. Her only son, her pride and joy was missing, causing her to fall into a state of depression. Her expression changed, her attitude did as well. She was once in relatively good shape before, but now she was eating less and had lost a lot of weight.

There were only two reasons why Inko even bothered to get up in the morning, one was the hope of finding Izuku, and the other was Toru. Ever since that day Izuku disappeared she'd always drop by and see how Inko was doing.

In her apartment Inko looked at a picture of Izuku, his birthday was 2 days ago. He would have celebrated his 14th birthday, "Izuku…please come back."

Just then there was a knock at the door, Inko turned but didn't bother to walk over and see who it was. After a few more knocks the person outside was heard fumbling with some keys before unlocking the door. "Inko? I'm coming in okay." Said Toru as she stepped into the apartment.

Closing the door behind her Toru walked in to find Inko standing beside a nightstand and with the picture in her hand. "Good, you're awake. I'd thought you'd be sleeping again." In these last four years Toru grew up, and was now 14 years old.

Inko smiled, "Oh Toru, it's good to see you."

Seeing Inko smile made Toru sad, because she knew that it was fake. Toru could see it, the dark bags under her eyes, her hair split and messy, her clothes wrinkled, and most of all her smile had no joy behind it. "It's good to see you too Inko. How are you feeling today?"

Inko put down the picture and wiped a tear away, "Same as usual I guess. But enough about that, how are you?"

"School is good, we have finals coming up." Explained Toru putting down her stuff at the door.

"I didn't ask you about school. I asked how you were doing." Said Inko, knowing what Toru was doing. Toru stayed silent, and refused to answer. "Toru, you can't keep blaming yourself."

"I can't?" Questioned Toru. "Why can't I, if I didn't say what I did back then, then maybe Izuku would still be here. It's my fault."

"Toru. No it isn't." Said Inko, trying to comfort her.

"Yes it is!" Said Toru, raising her voice. "You didn't see his face, the pain, the hurt in his eyes….I can still remember it clearly…I'm no better than Bakugo."

Hearing that name made Inko flinch. The working theory on Izuku's disappearance was that he ran away from home or was taken. But no one ever called to get ransom, so the first theory was more believable.

As for the reason why he would run away, Bakugo and his bullying. The authorities went and spoke to Bakugo and he did admit to picking on him but nothing too extreme. Which was complete bullshit, but like many things in his life he got away with it because others helped him.

The teachers at the school defended Bakugo, and praised him for all of his hard work. They even gave the excuse that he was trying to pursue being a hero and how he wanted to get into UA.

Inko and Toru protested and tried hard to get some sort of punishment but in the end there was nothing. Not even an apology for the bullying.

But Toru felt she was the same, she even went so far as to kneel down in front of Inko, asking for forgiveness. Unaware at the time why Toru was doing this Inko asked for an explanation, which she provided.

Once Toru told Inko the story and what she said to Izuku, she once again asked for forgiveness. But Inko didn't give it, why? Because Inko thought she had nothing to apologize for. Yes, what she said was harsh, but unlike what Bakugo said, Toru said it out of pure concern. She meant no ill intent and Inko knew that.

But it wasn't enough for Toru, she wanted to, no, she needed to do something to repent. Her chance came when she found out Inko was falling into a state of depression. Every day after school Toru would come by to help, it could be as simple as cleaning, or even cooking. But without fail Toru came by and tried to get Inko into a better mood.

"You will never be like Bakugo." Said Inko. "So don't you dare compare yourself to that hell spawn. Now, have you decided what highschool you're going to?"

Toru nodded, "Yup! I'm going to UA to take the hero entrance exam."

Inko gave Toru a sad look, "Is it because of Izuku? Dear you shouldn't…"

But Toru stopped her there, "I'll admit, Izuku is one of the reasons why I applied. But I also want to genuinely help people. And when I become a hero I'll make sure to find Izuku, that I swear."

Inko smiled, "Well in the end it is your decision. Just, just make sure you don't regret your choices."

"I won't! I'm going to pass the entrance exam, I know I will. I've been training every day down by the dump at the beach. There's a lot of heavy trash there, perfect for strength training." Said Toru striking a pose.

"When is the entrance exam anyway?" Asked Inko.

Toru thought about it, "In two weeks."

"I heard he's going to be there." Said Inko. Hearing this, Toru froze up.

"Oh course he is." Toru then clenched her fist. "That jerk…"

"Now I want you to promise me something Toru. Please, don't get into a fight again." Warned Inko. "While I am happy you stood up for Izuku, I don't want you to throw away your dreams."

Toru thought back to what Inko was talking about. It was 2 weeks after Izuku's disappearance and Toru blamed Bakugo, and still does.

So one day Toru waited for Bakugo outside of school. But this time she was completely invisible, so no one would see her coming. As soon as he stepped outside the school grounds Toru punched Bakugo in the face.

Knocking him back, Toru continued to punch him, over and over. All the while Bakugo couldn't tell where she was punching from, but knew who it was.

In the end Toru got several good hits in before Bakugo fired off an explosion towards the ground and knocked her back. Getting away Toru regreted nothing, on the contrary, she thought it wasn't enough and she was right.

Back in the present Toru smiled thinking back to this event. "Toru, promise me." Said Inko.

Toru looked at Inko and saw that she didn't want her to get in trouble. Sighing, Toru nodded, "Fine, I won't start anything."

"Good, now, are you going to stay over for dinner?" Questioned Inko.

Toru smiled, "You bet! Your cooking is the best."

Two Weeks Later

Today was the day, today was the UA entrance exam. Getting ready Toru packed her workout clothes since UA told them they would need to change into something easier to move around in.

Toru was putting the finishing touches on her uniform when she looked at her desk. On it was a picture of herself and Izuku when they were little. Izuku was crying and Toru was hugging him.

Picking up the picture Toru smiled, "I'll make you proud today Izuku, I swear."

Making her way towards the train station Toru waited anxiously for her train. As she waited, people passed her as they too waited for the train. Just then a person wearing a black hooded trench coat walked past her.

As they did Toru couldn't help but feel like she knew this person. Turning Toru looked for this person, but by the time she turned they were gone. "T-They're gone….they gave off a familiar aura. I wonder who they were…"

After a short train ride Toru was now standing in front of UA's gates. This was it, everything she worked hard for these last couple of years was just within her reach. All she had to do was pass the exam. "Alright, let's do this. I can do this, I know I can!"

Walking in Toru got in line and picked up a pamphlet with instructions written on it. The UA entrance exam consisted of two parts, a written, and a practical exam. The written portion mainly focused on hero law, the does and don'ts of hero work, the basics.

Toru wasn't the smartest person when it came to academics. She really did try to study but just couldn't find a way to make all that information stick.

But still, she tried her best and by the end of it Toru knew for sure that some answers were correct. In the meantime however, she would have to focus on the next part, the practical.

Before the exam started all of the students were brought into the auditorium. Finding an open seat Toru breathed a sigh of relief, 'My brain hurts…I should have studied more…'

"Is this seat taken?" Asked Someone. Toru looked up to find a girl with short brown hair, hazelnut colored eyes, and two blush marks on her cheeks standing there.

"Huh, oh no, it's free." Said Toru.

Nodding the girl sat down, the two then sat there in silence until the girl spoke. "Ochaco Uraraka, it's nice to meet you."

"Toru Hagakure, nice to meet you too." Said Toru.

"That exam was difficult, wasn't it?" Asked Uraraka, trying to initiate small talk.

"I know right!" Said Toru. "Some of those questions were worded weird. I just hope I passed."

"Did you get the one about the street law?" Asked Uraraka.

"I guessed on that one. I thought it was B, but it could have been C, or D, or A." Said Toru.

Uraraka laughed, "I guessed as well. I hope the next part of the exam is easier."

As the two talked Toru noticed someone, someone she was desperately trying to avoid even looking at. Bakugo was walking around looking for a seat.

Uraraka took notice of this and looked at Bakugo, "Who's that? Boyfriend?"

"Hell no." Answered Toru. "I would rather jump off a bridge than ever date him. He's, he's someone I really didn't want to see, that's all."

Just then the auditorium lights turned off leaving only a stage light on over the podium. A few seconds later a man wearing speakers walked onto the stage. "Hey Hey Hey! What is going on my UA entrance exam participants! Let me hear you scream!"

No one said anything. "I said, Let me hear you scream!" Yelled Present Mic. But again no one said anything. "Wow, tough crowd. Anyway, welcome to the second part of the UA entrance exam. Right now I will explain what exactly it is you will be doing."

Snapping his fingers Mic turned on a monitor behind him, which was large enough so that everyone in the auditorium could see. "You will all be taking down robots! There are two different types of robots, each with different point values, ranging from 1-3 points."

As soon as Mic finished talking a hand shot up, "Yes, you with the glasses."

That's when a boy stood up, "The flier says there are 4 different types of robots. But with those point totals it seems there are only 3."

"Right you are! I was getting to that, if you'd let me finish I will explain." said Mic.

The boy with glasses nodded and sat back down as those around him began to mumble. "Right, so where was I? Ah yes, the fourth and final robot is worth zero points. As you can tell, they are worthless. Their primary function is to get in your way so avoid them at all costs. It's simple really, the more robots you destroy, the more points you earn. Understand?"

The auditorium all nodded, "Good. You guys really don't talk much do you? Anyway, you will all be assigned a battle arena at random, but to be fair, those who are from the same school won't be in the same gym. The test will be 20 minutes long, plenty of time to rack up those points. Now head down stairs, find out which area you will be at and go get changed."

Walking down to the auditorium Toru reached into a bowl and pulled a number. This number would determine which arena she went to. And as luck would have it, Uraraka would be with her.

Going toward the locker rooms Toru and Uraraka began to change. Once they were done they were told to head to ground Beta.

Once there they were met with a massive door that sealed off the entrance to a massive prop city. "Woah, UA doesn't cheap out on stuff like this do they." said Toru, impressed.

"No kidding. I guess that's why they are the best hero school in all of Japan." Said Uraraka.

As the two waited for the exam to start Toru could feel her heart beating out of her chest. 'Come on Toru, you have to calm down. If you don't, you won't be able to pass this exam. If that happens, I won't be able to find Izuku.'

Toru then looked over to Uraraka and found her writing calm on her palm over and over again. Finding this a bit funny, Toru laughed, "Nervous are we?"

Uraraka stopped her writing and blushed, "Yeah, it's just, I really need to get into UA. My parents are counting on me."

"Oh your parents are the reason why you want to be a hero. That's good, a bit of motivation can go a long way." Said Toru.

"Yeah…So why are you trying to get into UA?" Asked Uraraka.

"I-I made a promise to myself and my friend that I would become a hero." Explained Toru. "I won't let him down, I won't."

"A friend, you mean like a boyfriend?" Asked Uraraka.

Toru blushed and waved her arms in front of her, "N-No! Well, I mean I like, or rather liked him. But I missed my chance."

Uraraka then placed a hand on Toru's shoulder, "Don't say that, I'm sure you'll get another chance."

"I sure hope so…" Toru and Uraraka then talked for a while to calm their nerves. But their nerves soon shot up again when Mic reappeared atop of a watch tower.

"Alright! I hope you are already, because the exam is just about to begin!" Yelled Mic. "As you know the test will be 20 minutes long so make sure to rack up those points. You are free to use your quirks as you please, however you can not deliberately attack another student. Doing so will result in immediate disqualification. Everyone understand? Good."

Just then the doors to the fake city opened up. Everyone just stood there not knowing what to do, there was no horn, no signal to indicate the start. "Well, what are you waiting for?" Asked Mic. "In a real situation there will be no buzzer. Get to it."

Now fully understanding the situation all of the students took off into the city. Finding the nearest robot a student used their quirk and destroyed a 2 pointer.

All along the city the students went around destroying all of the robots they could find. However, not all of the students had a fighting type quirk. Some, like Toru, had quirks that weren't suitable for direct combat.

But it wasn't useless either. Running into a 3 pointer Toru stopped as the robot looked right at her. Each robot was equipped with sensors that helped them identify a person's face.

However, thanks to her quirk Toru remained undetected. The robot she came across looked at her for a second and began to walk away once it scanned no one.

Seeing a chance, Toru jumped on the back of the robot and climbed up to its neck. There she found a kill switch, flicking it she managed to disable the robot granting her the points. "Yes! I can do this. I just have to get a few more."

Turning Toru saw Uraraka touch one of the robots causing it to float into the air. "Release!" Once again touching the tips of her fingers the robot fell to the ground.

"Wow, she must have a gravity quirk of some sort. Izuku would have loved to see that in action…" shaking her head, Toru refocused. "I have to keep my head in the game. I won't fail."

Observation Room

The room was dark, only the light from several monitors illuminated a portion of the room. Inside several shadowy outlines that were sitting down were seen looking at the monitors. "There's potential in this batch this year." Said a female shadow.

Another shadow nodded, "I agree, there are many strong quirks this year."

"Now now, we can't just look at how powerful someone's quirk is." Said a small, almost animal looking shadow. "We have to keep in mind other factors as well. Power doesn't make the hero."

"Right you are." Said a skinny looking shadow with crazy hair. "A hero should be able to make quick and good decisions under pressure, help others, and above all have the drive to be a hero."

"Times almost up sir. Do you think it's time to release it?" Asked another shadow.

The small shadow nodded, "Yes, I do believe it is time. Release the titan."

Down With Toru

Resting up against a car, Toru was catching her breath. Thanks to her physical training Toru was able to keep up with the others. Maybe not with points, but definitely with stamina. "Man, I didn't think this would be so tiring. With the points I have it should be enough. I'll start heading back…"

But as Toru was about to leave the ground underneath her began to shake. It started off light but soon the entire city began to shake causing buildings to crack and in some cases fall. "What is going on!" One student yelled out.

Toru moved to the middle of the street to avoid anything falling on her. As she did, a loud blaring horn was heard, turning Toru's eyes widened when a massive 20 story tall robot appeared from the center of the city with big 0 painted on it. "Are you kidding me! That's the zero pointer!"

Waving one of its massive arms the robot destroyed one of the buildings near it, sending rubble towards the students.

Still in a bit of shock, Toru decided that there was no way she could stop that and began to run in the opposite direction.

Running past several destroyed buildings and cars Toru was soon surrounded by the other students who were also running away. "Quick! It's coming this way, run!"

Looking behind her, Toru saw the titan getting closer. But that's when she heard something, "H-Help…"

Stopping dead in her tracks Toru looked down the street to find someone pinned underneath a concrete slab. "Wait, is that?" That's when Toru recognized who it was. "Uraraka…"

Thanks to the titan one of the slabs from a building had landed on her foot. "Owww…anyone, help!" She cried out but everyone was too busy running for their own safety.

That's when the ground began to once again shake underneath Uraraka. Turning, she saw as the titan robot was inching ever closer. Now a block away Uraraka noticed that it wasn't slowing down. "Is it seriously not stopping, I'm going to get crushed! No, it can't end like this, I have to pass, I have to become a hero."

Uraraka tried to use her quirk but she had used it too much during the exam. One of the drawbacks of her quirk was that if she overused it, her stomach began to knot and turn. Her head began to spin, giving her the feeling of wanting to throw up.

Holding back the urge to throw up, Uraraka then tried to pull herself out but to no success. 'I'm sorry mom, dad, I failed you…'

Closing her eyes, Uraraka accepted her fate, but someone else had other plans. Hearing the sound of metal hitting concrete Uraraka turned to find Toru with a mangled piece of metal, trying to jar the slab free. "Man this is heavy. Are you hurt Uraraka?"

Surprised, it took Uraraka a moment to respond, "My ankle, I think it's broken."

"Well that sucks, don't worry though. I'll have you out in a second…" said Toru as she strained herself to move the slab. Pushing down on the metal she tried and tried but to no avail.

Seeing that Toru couldn't do it, Uraraka had a suggestion. "Leave, I wouldn't want you to get crushed too."

Looking over to the titan Toru saw that it was only a few meters away. "Not until I get you out."

"It's no use, you can't free me. Get out of here, you can still pass." Pleaded Uraraka.

But Toru refused, "No chance! There's no way I'm not helping someone who needs it. I won't make that mistake again, never…"

The titan robot then looked down at the two students and began to reach down for them. Seeing this Toru shielded herself and waited for the impact. But it never came, only the sound of metal creaking was heard.

Looking through the space in her arm Toru saw that the titan robot had a blue glow surrounding it. "W-What, who?"

"Well well well, to think UA would put their students in such danger. It's hard to believe he wanted to come here, how disappointing." echoed a voice throughout the city.

The students looked around in shock, everyone heard this voice, but it wasn't loud or deafening. It was almost as if someone was directly speaking in their minds.

Mic, who was still on top of his tower, also heard this voice and began to scan the area. "Guys, are you hearing this?"

In the observation room every shadow nodded, "We hear it, but who is talking? Do any of the students have a telepathy quirk?" Asked the female shadow.

Scanning through the student records the small shadow shook his head, "No, no one who's taking this test has one. This has to be someone from outside. Find them, no one besides the students should be here."

But as the small shadow was speaking the titan robot began to move. Rising higher and higher into the sky, soon it stopped and froze once again but this time it was suspended several dozen meters above the buildings. "I see now, so this was some sort of test. A test to see how the students react, fascinating. Well, I'm sorry I interrupted, here let me help."

The students and shadows in the observation room watched as the titan robot was scrunched up and shattered into pieces before thrown back down towards the city.

Every student's eyes widened when they saw this, some began to run but they wouldn't make it. This was the end, Toru along with every single student in the arena was going to die, crushed to death. 'No, please. Not like this, I still have to find Izuku…'

The students all yelled out in fear as there was no escaping what was coming. However, just as the first shard was about to fall, a powerful gust of wind blew the pieces of metal away. "Worry not students, why? Because I am here!"

Standing in the entrance of the arena was All Might, his fist smoking from the impact with the air. The students smiled seeing the hero, "It's All Might! We are saved!"

Checking every student All Might made sure they were alright. He then came upon Toru and Uraraka near the middle of the city. "Are you two alright?"

"I'm fine, but I think her ankle is broken." said Toru, still holding Uraraka up.

"Recovery Girl should be here soon. Please make your way towards the entrance…" but as All Might was talking to the two, his eyes picked something up from the corner of his vision.

Moving the two girls aside, All Might reached out and grabbed something out of the air. Whatever it was, it was moving at such speed that it pushed All Might back a few feet. "Impressive, well, considering you are the number one hero I shouldn't be."

Once again the voice was heard but this time the voice was coming from the center of the city. All Might looked down at his hand to find that he was holding what appeared to be a spear made of golden light. "Show yourself!" demanded All Might.

A laugh then echoed within the city, "Very well."

From the very center of the city All Might turned to find a door made of ice as blue as the sky appear. All of the students simultaneously felt a cold shiver run down their spines, even those with ice quirk felt cold for the first time.

Putting his guard up, All Might readied himself for a fight. The ice door then opened and out appeared a tall man wearing a black trenchcoat with a hood that hid his eyes. "Who are you?"

Stepping from out of the door the man smiled, "Who I am is not important. But the message I bring is. Hear me now, the age of heroes is coming to an end. A new era will begin, an era of magic."

"Magic? Explain!" Demanded All Might.

"You'll know what I mean in due time, hero. But in the meantime, we think a taste of what's to come will suffice." The hooded man then turned his back on All Might.

"There won't be a taste! You broke into UA and nearly hurt these kids. I won't let you do anything else." All Might then jumped at the man with his fist pulled back. "Detroit Smash!"

The man turned just in time to see All Might's massive fist in front of his face. A massive boom was heard as All Might's fist made contact, covering the area with a large dust cloud.

Toru and Uraraka hid in an alley to avoid being hit by the shockwave All Might had created.

The number one hero smiled as he confidently thought that this man was done for….how wrong he was. "Didn't you hear what I said hero? I said, we." All Might's eyes widened when he heard the man's voice from the dust.

Pulling his fist back All Might waited for the dust to settle. Slowly but surely it did and once it was all gone the hero noticed that there was a green light shield stopping his fist from reaching the man. "Another one of your tricks?"

The man laughed, "Not mine, but his." He then pointed behind All Might.

Turning All Might was surprised to see someone else wearing a dark green robe with a hoodie that also covered their face. However this person was a lot shorter than the man, 'Who is this kid? No, wait, how did he get behind me? I didn't even see him.'

"Meet my student, Invictus." Announced the man with pride. Raising their head slightly, Invictus's hands began to glow. Throwing his hands forward he threw the green light shield foward and towards All Might.

All Might tried to block but the shield knocked him off his feet and sent the hero flying into a building causing it to fall on top of the hero. "All Might!" Yelled Toru from the alleyway.

"Very good Invictus, you never cease to amaze me. Come now, I believe this is enough to show what we can do." Invictus nodded and began following the man. Raising one hand the man's hand began to glow blue and shortly after the same ice blue door appeared.

The door opened up and the two were just about to leave when someone called out to them, "Wait…"

Stopping the two turned to find a hand appearing from the pile of broken buildings. The ground beneath the two began to shake as All Might began to rise. Jumping into the air All Might landed a few meters away from the two. "I'm not done with you yet."

"So it would seem." The man smiled. "Invictus, make it hurt."

Nodding Inviticus turned to All Might, only to find him towering over him. "Playtime is over, now we fight for real."

Seeing an attack coming, Invictus put both of his arms forward. "Aegis…" this manifested the green light shield once again. And right on time, Invictus barely had time to put up a shield before All Might's fists landed.

Over and over the hero punched the shield. At first it seemed that the shield was holding up but soon cracks began to show. "Invictus, don't you dare lose!" yelled the man.

Gritting his teeth Invictus's hands began to glow brighter as he put more power into the shield, which repaired it. However that too would prove useless against All Might's pure raw strength. No matter how much power Invictus put into the shield the cracks just kept coming.

It wasn't long before All Might threw the final punch that shattered the light shield into pieces. The feedback of the shield shattering managed to push Invictus back and cause blood to run down his nose. At the same time All Might had appeared and with his massive hand, he pushed down the intruder and slammed him into the ground.

Now pinned to the floor, Invictus tried to break free but couldn't due to the hero's strength. "Now, let's see who you really are." All Might then reached down and pulled the hood off of Invictus. What All Might saw surprised him, a young boy maybe around 14 with green hair, and green eyes. "A kid? He looks no older than the students. You dare use a kid to do your dirty work!?"

The mystery man sighed, "Invictus, stop messing around. I think you gauged his power enough."

While on the ground Invictus slammed his hand onto the pavement, "Obelisk…"

The ground around All Might began to rumble but before he could grasp what was going on a spike made of the very ground came up and stabbed into his shoulder. Barely having enough time to register the pain another spike came up and hit the hero in the other shoulder.

With blood running down his arms All Might jumped back and barely managed to dodge another spike aimed at his head. Landing All Might had both spikes still stuck in his shoulders as they bled, "I underestimated you…" flexing his shoulder muscles; the two spikes shattered but the blood kept running. "I won't make that mistake again."

All Might was about to jump back in and attack but stopped when he saw Invictus's blank stare. His eyes were dead, there was no light, no emotion, no hope behind them. "Y-You, what did you do to this boy!?"

The mystery man smiled, "So you noticed, I made him perfect. Before he was nothing but an empty shell, a boy who'd been thrown away by society like a used trash bag. But I, I gave him power. But power always has a price…I doubt he even remembers his own name after everything I did to him."

Hearing that only made All Might angry, "Why you…"

"I-Izuku?" came a voice from behind the number one hero. All Might turned to find Toru. "Izuku, is that you?" she asked once again.

Invictus twitched slightly when he heard that name. The mystery man narrowed his eyes, focusing on Toru. "Who is that?"

"Izuku, it's me Toru. Do you remember? Oh my god, it's been so long, we feared the worst." said Toru as she stepped forward.

"Please young miss, stay back!" warned All Might, but Toru didn't listen. She kept walking forward.

The mystery man finally remembered who she was, "Oh no…Invictus, let's go, we are leaving!" But much to his surprise, Invictus didn't move, "I said we are leaving." grabbing the boy's arm the man tried to force him through the door. But was instead hit with a blast of wind knocking him back.

Invictus then stepped forward and met Toru half way. Toru was in tears when she got a good look at her friend after all these years. "Izuku…I've missed you." She then reached out and tried to touch his face.

Toru's hand was centimeters away from Invictus's face but her hand was abruptly grabbed, "Who the hell are you?" Asked Invictus, his voice cold and emotionless. Toru's eyes widened, how could he not know who she was.

"C-Come on Izuku, stop messing around. It's me Toru, we've been friends since I moved into the apartments. I used to sneak up on you and scare you, remember. You remember right?" Asked Toru.

But before he could answer, Invictus let out an agonizing scream of pain and grabbed his head with both hands. Invictus's eyes began to burn green as a powerful wind blast pushed Toru away. Raising his arm into the air and opening the palm of his hand Invictus's entire arm began to glow green. A second later a magic circle appeared underneath his feet before expanding and covering the entirety of the fake city.

The mystery man got up and looked at the circle, "Shit! He's lost control again!" the entire arena began to rumble causing cracks to appear from the very earth itself. Buildings split in two, cars were sent flying, and students ran for their lives.

All Might appeared in front of Toru and shielded her, "We have to leave!"

"Not without Izuku! Izuku!" Toru reached out for him but this wasn't the kind boy she knew. This was an entirely new person, one she didn't know.

But her words couldn't reach him. Invictus opened his mouth to cast the spell, "Planar Clea…"

"ENOUGH!" yelled the mystery man waving his hand in front of him. The magic circle underneath Invictus shattered. It was then replaced by another magic circle causing blue chains to appear and wrap themselves around his arms and legs, binding him in place. "I gave you an order. You will do what I say!"

The chains then began to glow causing Invictus to scream out in pain as they burned his very flesh. But as his flesh sizzled, black markings began to appear on Invictus's face. The markings went up then trailed down the side of his face, making its way down it then wrapped around his arm and created a pattern on his forearm and the back of his hand.

Seeing the marks the man knew what this was, "Ah shit." Said the mystery man as Izuku broke free of the chains. "I didn't want it to come to this, but there's no other way." The man then put two fingers up and closed his eyes, "Mind Domination."

Snapping his eyes back open, All Might saw that the man's hands were glowing blue with power. As soon as his eyes opened Izuku's eyes rolled behind his head. Now completely knocked out the marks on Invictus began to fade before disappearing completely.

The mystery man was breathing heavily as a result of casting the spell. "His power, it grows even now. I have to strengthen my control over him once again, or else I'll lose him."

Waving his hand, the man caused Invictus's body to float. The man then opened up the door and was just about to leave when Toru called out, "Wait! Where are you taking him!? Give him back!"

The man stopped just before entering the door and turned, "I see no reason to answer you, cursed child. But know this, the friend you once knew is gone. I broke him, invaded his mind and reshaped it to my design. Izuku is no more, now there is only Invictus. However you'll see him again but this time he won't go easy."

With that Invictus and the man disappeared through the door. Toru fell to her knees as tears ran down her face, "Izuku, it was really you…I finally found you."

Unknown Location

The ice door appeared once again, the door swung open and out walked the man with Invictus floating behind.

Waving his hand, the man placed Izuku down on the floor. "Master, you have returned." Said a deep voice coming from the shadows.

The man turned to find a lion with blue colored hair and black stripes on its back, walking out of the shadow. "Nemean…yes, we have returned."

Nemean, walked over and looked at the unconscious Invictus, "The boy, he slips from your grasp."

"I know, his power is becoming too much to control. I almost lost full control over him today." Explained the man, looking at Invictus.

With a small growl Nemean looked at his master, "He's becoming more of a liability with every passing day."

The man rubbed the bridge of his nose, "It will be fine. As long as I maintain the spell he should stay in line. I'll need time to strengthen it…in the meantime, tell me, any changes with her?"

Nemean shook his head, "Nothing too major, she did move around and seemed as if she was waking but ultimately didn't."

"Good, good. If she were to wake up and find out all we've done to him, we'd be dead." Said the man, nodding at the good news.

But as the man got to work strengthening the spell on Izuku the ground shook. Nemean growled as he looked at the floor, "Looks like she is awake…We'll have to deal with her too."

Down below the area the two were standing was a large room, the ceiling was tall, and the sound of chains rattling was heard. Only a small window shined any sort of light into the room. The light passed over a certain area of the room, as it did it passed over something. The light stopped, a few seconds had passed when an eye was seen, but this was no human eye. No, this was an eye of a beast.

AN: DUN DUN DUN! Nice little way to reintroduce Izuku, oh sorry Invictus. Points if you can tell me what that name means and extra points if you say where the name Nemean comes from.
