Chapter 03 (Day 1, Part 3) - The First Victim is Claimed

(Vociferous Vipers)

"Why do you have to complain about everything?" Shawn rolled his eyes for the 20th time, as Gwen and Heather started to bicker once again.

"Oh whatever. All you do is complain. Isn't that what you weird Goth Girl's do?" Gwen scoffed, who was also no longer holding her crate anymore.

"Yeah I complain, but at least I don't insult everyone around me. They say goths are balls of negativity, but you're just a dumb bimbo ball of hate." Heather gasped, glaring daggers at the girl, and went to get in her face.

"Ladies, calm down!" Courtney shouted, getting in between the girls, holding them back. Shawn blinked, realizing that both Courtney and Gwen left his crate, leaving him and Mabel holding it alone.

"Oh God!" He yelped, falling slightly, struggling to hold most of the weight of the crate.

"Oh, like you can talk!" Gwen started, glaring towards Courtney. Heather scoffed, looking at the CIT.

"Honestly! You're the reason that we lost the challenge!" Courtney felt her anger flare, and suddenly jabbed a finger at the raven-haired's chest.

"Excuse me? I didn't lose us the challenge, that was all the small gamer boy!" Levi listened in, rolling his eyes. He wanted to go get in her face again, but he knew he couldn't leave his crate, as Owen and Lindsay were still struggling even with him there.

As they walked, Dawn looked at the three girls, a frown on her face.

Confessional Cam

Dawn - "Honestly, all three of them together is very overwhelming. Their aura's burn very bright and it's almost blinding. I hope they can somehow get along with one another?"

Heather - "How dare Weird Goth Girl and Crazy-In-Training come at me like that? All she did was complain the entire time and bring everyone down with her stupid negative energy! And all Courtney did was moan that the little nerdy kid lost the challenge for us, when she refused to even do anything! Both of them are just infuriating!"

Gwen - "Heather just insults and cries about everyone! It's so damn draining and annoying! Ugh, I can't believe Chris put me on a team with her and holier-than-thou Courtney! /She frowns, crossing her arms/ I miss Trent…"

Courtney - "Of course Heather and Gwen wanted to attack me like that! I'm obviously the strongest competitor with my leadership skills and knowledge, so they want to come at me! But, they want to accuse me of losing the challenge? I wasn't the one that failed the jump like Levi did!"

Dawn - "/She signs/ I don't think that's likely."

(Cut-Throat Crocodiles)

"What… is she doing?" Cody asked, as they all watched Vivian, who was growling and pushing a cart by herself. Next to her, Soren was also pushing a cart by himself. The only difference seemed to be that Vivian was struggling, while Soren wasn't.

"Is this really necessary, brah?" Geoff asked Vivian, who growled at him in response. From afar, Bridgette sighed, slamming her palm to her face. Maverick took this opportunity to walk towards Bridgette, finally catching her alone.

"She seems really competitive, huh?" She lifted her head up, looking at the girl, who held nothing but contempt in her eyes.

"She really is. It's kind of ridiculous how far she will go though." He nodded, crossing his arms slightly.

"Something I've always said is that it's great to have that competitive bone in you, but not everything is a competition. Sometimes it's just better to relax." Bridgette finally looked over, realizing she was talking with Maverick now. He gave her a soft smile, extending his arm for a handshake. "I know you know my name, but this is the first time we've had a chance to actually talk. Maverick, international extreme sports partaker." She smiled back, taking his hand and shaking it.

"Bridgette, amateur extreme sports partaker. I'd try to be more active in them, but knowing how clumsy I am, I would just straight up die. Surfing is probably the one I do the most of." He chuckled, giving her a look.

"Same!"

"Really?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. He laughed again, placing a hand on the back of his head.

"Okay no. Snowboarding. But surfing is a close second!" Normally, she would have rolled her eyes at someone lying to impress her, but instead she chuckled, her face having a slight flush to it.

Nearby, Duncan was watching with a scowl on his face.

Confessional Cam

Duncan - "Look. I just don't trust Bridgette. She caused grief with the guys alliance last season, and we didn't do much to her because of Geoff. But if she cheats on Geoff? Then all bets are off. I'm going to have to keep an eye on her and this Maverick guy."

Maverick - "Bridgette seems awesome. I've met lots of Igals that are into the sports I'm into, but none of them have drawn me in the way that that blonde does. /He swoons a little/ I don't want to rush anything though. I'm hoping we are on this island for awhile, but I want to build a friendship with her before I just try to ask her out or anything."

Bridgette - "Wow, Maverick seems pretty cool and is into a lot of stuff I am too! While we talked, I learned he also doesn't like to hold grudges and he loves nature! I really hope he and Geoff get along!"

"Let's go! Beep beep! Too slow!" Vivian looked to her side to see Izzy pulling a cart by herself, not struggling in the slightest. To add insult to injury, the perfectionist also noticed Ezekiel sitting in the cart, his face flushed red.

"Izzy, why did you want me in the cart, eh? I'm getting looks." He muttered, but Izzy simply blew a raspberry, continuing forward.

"Oh pshaw! Izzy is simply flexing her strength and showing these two noobs how it is! Izzy is king here! Onwards!" She sped up, making Zeke whimper and fall back slightly. Vivian started to growl, straining herself further.

"Damnnit! What is in this crate? Why are they so heavy! I will not lose! I am strong!" But as she screeched, Soren passed her with his head shaking. From her rear, Cody and Kara exchanged a look, not wanting to pass Vivian with the last cart, not wanting to piss her off.

"It's not a race brah. I can help you with the cart?" Geoff asked, taking a hold of one of the cart's handles, but he quickly jumped back as she snapped her teeth at his hand. He simply shrugged, helping Cody and Kara with their cart.

"Look, they are already here!" Courtney hissed, pointing a finger at the Crocodiles, who were struggling to open their boxes with their teeth. She growled again, looking towards the sandy beach they were still on. "Let's hurry up and smoke those Crocs!" She started to run forward, paying no attention to Shawn rolling his eyes.

"No, it's fine, don't help us with any of the boxes, that's cool!" Samson nodded, an annoyed look on his face as he carried his box solo. By this point, Gwen was tired of arguing with the two girls, and she was back on the crate with Shawn and Mabel.

Heather was also finally helping, as Daniel transitioned from pushing to carrying the box, both Dawn and Heather on either side of him.

"Aw guys, she's just a little excited. She just really wants to win!" Owen laughed, looking towards the CIT, who was trying to guide them to the camp. Lindsay let out a small scoff, sweat glistening on her forehead.

"Yeah, but it would be nice if Courtney helped us a bit." She explained, as her crate was carried by herself and Levi, who were both scrawny, and Owen, who didn't really have lots of strength.

"Wait," Mabel suddenly spoke up, looking towards the blonde. "Did you get Courtney's name correct? I thought you had trouble with names?" Lindsay scoffed at Mabel's words, a smile on her face.

"I'm not the best with names, but I'm not stupid! Give me more credit Macy." Mabel developed a frown quickly, while some of the other campers snickered, minus Heather, who just rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"You really kept that nice act up for… Oh, 10 minutes? New record, huh?" Daniel said with a smirk on his face, while Heather sneered at him.

"Me nice? As if. I'm just not going to try and screw people over. I tried and it failed. So this time, I'm trying to work with everyone and be a nice, good team player!" He rolled his eyes at that, and they both ignored the doubtful snort of Gwen.

"I can't tell if she's lying or not." Dawn stated in her whimsical voice, pursing her lips in thought. "She's one of the few people I can't fully read." Daniel looked towards her, cocking an eyebrow.

"Her aura doesn't seem to be dark and fiery like it was during the first season. It seems… Cracked. Or Broken I guess? It's hard to explain with her."

"Heather being complicated? That seems like an understatement." The two shared a laugh, while Heather frowned.

Confessional Cam

Heather - "I don't need to be insulted here by Daniel and the freaky hippy girl! My aura is off? Your face is off! Ugh! /She growls and crosses her arms, looking away from the camera/"

Dawn - "I don't have an issue with Heather and I meant no ill will. Her aura just feels cracked. I have a feeling that certain things are going to come to fruition and that will determine whether Heather's aura will heal or shatter. I personally hope it gets better. Plus, I think Daniel likes her and I don't want him to be with her if her aura seems split and torn."

Daniel - "Well, it's good to know Heather is back to her normal colors. I didn't like it when she was pretending to be nice. I mean, I'd rather she be nice, but only if it was genuine, you know?"

"God, what took you guys so long? They are already building!" Courtney stomped on the grass of the campgrounds, pointing towards the Crocodiles, who were working together to build their hot tub. Most of the team gave her a dirty look as they placed their crates down. "Whatever, it's fine," she began, walking to the center of her team. "Let's just get to work on opening these crates!"

"I'd… Really rather not use my teeth to open these." Daniel muttered, to which Owen and Lindsay nodded in agreement. Courtney slammed her hand into her palm, a fierce look on her face.

"We might not want to, but we have to do it if we want to win! So let's get to biting!" Everyone seemed to stare at her, hesitancy lingering there. "Well? Let's go!" She shouted, rolling her eyes.

"Uh, I have an idea actually…" Mabel muttered, although no one really heard her as they all started to grip the crates with their teeth. "Uh guys?" Again, no one really heard her except for Levi, who stopped gnawing on his box.

"Did you say something Mabel?" She nodded, pointing towards her side of the box.

"Yeah, look. You see this part of the box? If we hit it in just the right area, we can get it open easily!" She went towards the box and tapped it with her teeth in one corner, moving towards the left side and tapping it again. Finally, she pointed towards the middle of the box and tapped it with her canine tooth.

Suddenly, the screws holding it popped out, causing the entire side of the crate to fall to the ground. Watching in awe, Levi had his mouth wide.

"Holy crap, Mabel! That was amazing! Maybe you could show everyone else?" She suddenly turned red, looking towards the ground.

"Um… That's a little much. So much interaction… Maybe I can do it for them?" Despite her progress in talking to people on her one day on the island, she was still very bad with social interactions. Levi frowned, but nodded, grabbing her shoulders and walking over to the other three crates.

"Uh guys, they already got the boxes open." Cody muttered, while Duncan groaned, seeing Mabel open the crates with her special teeth trick.

"Of course the genius girl knows some stupid trick. We gotta do this fast!" Hearing him, Charlie scoffed, walking towards the hot tub with two pieces of wood.

"It's not a race, felon," she spat, rolling her eyes. "We just have to make a better one. Take our time and make sure it's way better than theirs." Duncan growled, dropping the metal in his hand and poking Charlie in the chest.

"What the hell did you just call me?" She snarled back, dropping her wood and poking him back.

"Did I stutter, criminal? We have things to do and you getting up in my face is not going to help us!" Before he could respond, she picked up her wood and turned to the hot tub, handing them to Maverick, who was hammering away at the wood. Duncan growled, but said nothing, heading back to pick up the metal he dropped.

While everyone was working, Ezekiel was ruffling through a crate, not really paying attention to his surroundings. Suddenly, a pair of hands slammed onto the crates side, startling him greatly and making him trip and almost fall.

"Oh come on! Izzy knows she didn't scare you that bad!" Izzy spoke with a giggle, making Ezekiel rise up, dusting himself off.

"God, Izzy, you're just so quiet, eh. Definitely snuck up on me!" She laughed again as he shook his head, going back to the crate.

"Oh come on! Izzy wasn't even using her skills. Now THAT would be scary! Whatcha looking for in there?" She glanced down in the crate, seeing a liner and lots of wood and metal.

"Trying to find a piece for the hot tub. What are you doing, eh?" He looked at her, a questioning look on his face. She scoffed, looking at him with a smile on her face.

"Izzy thinks you are distracted and not focusing. Izzy thinks you might have other things on your mind?"

"Not at all Izzy. I'm completely focused on the challenge, eh!" She simply gave him a look, raising her eyebrow. After a few moments, he signed and lowered his head, resting his arms on the side of the crate. "Okay, maybe I'm a little distracted, eh."

"Talk to mama Izzy. She can listen to you." Ezekiel seemed to pause slightly, looking at the girl. He seemed to question himself before finally letting out a sigh.

"I'm just scared, Izzy. Last time I was on this island, I said some… very dumb stuff. And I was kicked off first." Izzy let out a raspberry, shaking her hand at him.

"That was a year ago Zekey! Izzy knows you're not that dumb homeschooled boy anymore! Izzy is sure everyone knows that!" He snorted, looking down again.

"Yeah, sure. I can see the looks I still get, eh. I know the girls here don't forgive me. I can see the looks they give me." Izzy suddenly cracked her knuckles, a serious look on her face.

"Would you like Izzy to beat them up? Because she easily can." Ezekiel's eyes widened as he turned towards her, both his hands opened wide.

"No! That's the last thing I'd want Izzy!" Her serious look dropped into a giggle.

"Izzy knows, she just likes your reactions!" Ezekiel raised a small eyebrow at her antics. Despite Izzy spending a decent amount of time with him in between seasons, he still wasn't used to her mannerisms. She always tried to get a reaction from him and she always referred to herself in the third person.

"I'm just hoping I'm not the first one kicked off this time. I never even spent the night on this island. I guess it just depends how much everyone still hates me, eh." It was silent for a moment until Ezekiel felt a hand on his shoulder, and looked up to see Izzy smiling at him, but a more tame smile, nothing like her usual cackling one.

"Come on. Have some faith. You showed Izzy you changed. You just need to show everyone here that you aren't a weird sexist farm boy. You can do that easily! Now go and help the team win this challenge!" With, she smacked the boys ass, making him jump and yelp, but rush off to help his team. Nearby, Bridgette was watching the entire interaction.

Confessional Cam

Bridgette - "I've never been one to hold grudges. I remember what Ezekiel said and when I think about it, it still ticks me off a bit. But it's also been a year. If he's willing to show he changed, I'm willing to listen. /She smirks a bit/ Was nice of Izzy though to try and cheer him up. Seems like Izzy isn't as crazy as we all think, huh?"

Ezekiel - "Izzy sure can be a bit much sometimes. My butt is still hurting from that smack, eh! She really doesn't hold back. But I'm thankful for her. She became a pretty good friend of mine this last year, although she stressed my mom out a lot, eh. She can be a little too wild for the prairie!"

Izzy - "Zeke is a good friend to Izzy and he was really nice to her this entire year! Izzy knows he can show everyone how good of a person he really is!"

"Oh god, these directions make no sense." Courtney mumbled, looking at the sheet of paper that depicted how to make the hot tub. After a few moments of reading, she tossed the paper behind her, clapping her hands. "Okay, I think I got this! Let's all build this hot tub!"

No one moved, as they all looked around. Samson dug his hands in a crate, taking some wood out.

"So, what's the first step?" Courtney looked towards him, pointing to the ground next to her.

"Well, let's get some wood here! And make it a circle!" Samson rolled his eyes, but walked over to where she pointed. Levi tapped his chin in confusion.

"But how big is the hot tub? Like how much wood are we using?" Courtney groaned, walking to a crate and grabbing more wood.

"Obviously, we have to continue until we run out of wood. This wood has to all be used for the lining of the hot tub, so we use all the wood!" Daniel raised an eyebrow at this, while Gwen scoffed.

"Yeah, that seems like a great idea." Courtney twitched an eye in annoyance before jabbing her finger at Heather.

"I am so sick of the attitude that both of you are bringing to this team. It's constant whining with you!" Heather looked shocked, before her expression morphed to anger, jabbing a finger at Gwen.

"I didn't even do anything! She's the one that said something! But I agree with Weird Goth Girl! You're getting on everyone's last nerves Courtney!" Gwen scoffed, turning her attention to Heather.

"As if you could talk with everything you did? You would be lucky to survive even one day on this island with how much everyone hates you!" Heather growled, her attention back to Gwen, but before she could say anything, Courtney spoke up.

"Same could be said about your bitter attitude to everything! It's so draining to constantly deal with that!" The three girls all started to argue, making everyone around them groan.

"Uh, should we just try to work?" Owen asked no one in particular. Near him, Mabel groaned, slapping her face before picking up the paper Courtney tossed earlier. After studying it for a few seconds, she nodded, also tossing the paper away.

Confessional Cam

Mabel - "Okay, I really just wanted to relax and cruise, but I had no choice! Those girls weren't going to stop arguing, so I had to take charge. Besides, those instructions weren't that hard to understand."

"Okay, Shawn and Owen, head to the beach to start filling buckets up with water. We only have 4 buckets, so it's going to be a lot of trips. Dawn, can you grab wood and start bringing it to Daniel and Samson so they can hammer it in? Levi, I want you to start separating items from the crates, like metal and the tub lining so we can see everything. Lindsay," she paused, looking at the girl. "Cheer us on?" Said blonde girl started to clap, nodding her head. "Okay, let's go! I'll hold the wood lining for you two so we can get this done." She spoke to Daniel and Samson, who nodded and they all quickly went to work, except for the three girls who stood there bickering.

The sun was starting to set, and all the campers were working furiously. Maverick was hammering away, making sure the hot tub was lined perfectly, while Duncan was making sure it was leveled. Geoff, Izzy and Charlie all had water buckets, running back and forth, dumping the water in and running back for more. Vivian and Soren, despite the anger she held for him, were making sure the pump was working properly. With most of the work done, Cody and Kara were sitting down on the nearby cabins steps, laughing.

"Whoa, no way. You actually enjoy games like that?" Cody asked, a large smile on his face. Kara rolled her eyes playfully, shooting back a look.

"What? Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I can't play Stars of Sorcery?" He shook his head, his toothy grin still on his face.

"No no. not at all! I just wasn't expecting it at all. Especially for you to be a level 80 Warlock!" She scoffed, holding up her hand.

"Excuse you. I have two level 80 warlocks! I'm working on my Shaman now. They are only level 55." Cody seemed to be in nerd heaven as he talked with Kara, while Ezekiel chuckled a bit, which caught the attention of Bridgette.

"What, is that not what you expected a girl to be doing with her free time?" Ezekiel jumped a bit, looking over to see Bridgette next to him, a questioning look on her face. Truthfully, he didn't notice that she was also one of the campers that now had nothing to do.

"N-no! Not at all! I just thought it was funny how happy Cody was, eh!" He assured, chuckling nervously as he defended himself. "But, I bet that's what he's thinking, huh?" He gestured towards Cody, who was still smiling brightly at Kara. Bridgette chuckled, placing her hands in her jacket pockets.

"Oh definitely. His heart is probably beating super fast." Ezekiel nodded, looking back to them from his leaned position against the other cabin. There was silence for a bit before Bridgette looked back towards him, her head tilting slightly.

"Say Zeke? I have a question for you." He turned back to the blonde and the situation finally hit him. This was the first time he had ever had a conversation with Bridgette, well, one were he wasn't creeping on her or being smacked.

"W-what's up, eh?" She suddenly smirked, looking up to the sky.

"I think I see a bird?" He immediately blushed, placing his toque over his eyes, which Bridgette gave a small laugh to. "It's just a joke, Zeke. I have to apologize first for my real question." He lifted the took, a confused look on his face.

"Apologize?"

"I… I was kinda listening to you and Izzy earlier." He gulped slightly, as she nervously pulled at the hoodie's neck. "Yeah, sorry. But, I just wanted to ask if that was true. You're scared about being hated and booted first?" He wasn't sure what to say, simply standing there for a few moments before sighing. She heard him and Izzy, so the best course of action would be to just fess up.

"I guess so, eh. Just last season, I said some really dumb stuff and I had to deal with it for a long time. I guess I'm just scared I'll do it again, eh." Bridgette nodded, looking at the prairie boy, who was simply staring at the ground, his own hands in his pockets.

"Well Zeke. If you mean it, I believe you. I'd say I'd be your first girl friend, but it looks like Izzy beat me there. So, I'll be your second girl friend!" Ezekiel suddenly choked, his face beat red, but all attention was elsewhere.

"DONE! We win! We did it!" Courtney was screaming as she jumped next to their completed hot tub, which was actually fairly well made. The jumping girl didn't notice the genius next to her, a frown on her face.

Confessional Cam

Mabel - "Not to be a sour puss or anything, but Courtney didn't really do anything and then she jumped at the fact that we finished. Just. Very annoying of her."

Ezekiel - "Girlfriend!? Izzy and Bridgette! Oh God! I don't think that's appropriate! I don't think that's what she meant but… Ugh! I usually ask Izzy about this teen stuff I don't understand, but she might say something she isn't supposed to, eh!"

Bridgette - "Well, Zeke doesn't seem that bad. Granted, I only talked to him once and that was when he said guys were stronger and smarter than girls. But, like I said, if he puts in the effort, I'll gladly be his friend!"

As if he was being called, Chris McLean arrived at the scene with the blond intern from before. He was holding a coconut and drinking from the cup, a content smile on his face.

"What's this yelling I heard?" He asked, looking towards both hot tubs, a smile on his face. Before he could say anything, Courtney rushed towards him, a smile on her face.

"We finished the hot tub, so we won!" She shouted triumphantly, but before Chris could even answer, the blond girl next to him snorted.

"Did you even pay attention to the rules?" Courtney turned to the blond, a scowl slowly developing on her face.

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me. I didn't stutter." Courtney's face turned to anger as she was about to get into the girl's face. Duncan groaned, slapping his face.

"The blond girl's dead." He muttered, shaking his head. As Courtney's finger was at her chest, the blond intern took her entire hand, bending it and making the girl fall to her knees with a yelp.

"I know you weren't about to get all in my face, now were you?" She spat, glowering down at the CIT, who whimpered. Normally, Courtney wouldn't back down from anyone, but this girl was terrifying her. Duncan, who normally would have been furious that someone was hurting Courtney, had a smile on his face.

"Whoa… This is kind of hot." Vivian shot him a look of disgust, while Charlie slapped her face, shaking her head.

"Pig."

"Now you see why she's the intern that doesn't test the deadly stunts, huh? You can let her go, Jennette." The blonde, Jennette, rolled her eyes and dropped her hold of Courtney, who let out a gasp of relief. "As she was saying though, did you pay attention to the rules? Because this wasn't a race. It was whoever's was better. Which time's up now anyway. So let's get to judging!" With that, he turned away from Courtney, walking towards the Crocodiles hot tub.

The hot tub was lined perfectly, with steaming water brimming from it. All the wood was even and hammered in just perfectly. Even better, you couldn't really see any nails or screws.

"Not too shabby. Pretty good hot tub. Let's see how the others did!" He spoke, while Jennette gave a 'so-so' motion with her hand towards their hot tub. Turning towards the Viper's, Chris gave a critical eye.

The lining was on perfectly, and the pool was shimmering with the heat, but the wood was slightly less even, and the nails could be seen. With a sigh, he looked towards the Vipers with a frown.

"It's not quite even, so it's not the best hot tub in the world. So with that said, the Crocodile's are the winner of the first challenge of Total Drama Reborn!" Said team let out loud cheers, jumping up and down. Ezekiel looked ecstatic when a land was placed on his shoulder, which was revealed to be one crazy red head.

"Izzy told Zeke he wouldn't be the first off!" He simply smiled in response, giving the girl a hug. Chris turned towards the Vipers, who were all frowning.

"That means the Viper's are today's losers and are going to be the first to boot someone off their team. First, we are going to have dinner, but go ahead and think long and hard about who has seen their last day at Wawanakwa Island!" With that, he laughed evilly and walked off. Jennette stood there for a moment, her face blank before she looked around, confused.

"I zoned out while he was talking, what happened?"

(Mess Hall)

"So, are we going to talk about what's happening after this?" Shawn started, looking at his team with questioning eyes. Everyone seemed amiss to talk about things, but Samson decided to speak up.

"Well, I think it's obvious. Courtney needs to go." Said CIT gasped, slamming her utensils down on the table.

"Me? Why me?" Daniel chuckled, looking towards her as he took a bite.

"You didn't jump. Pretty much everyone else did. That's reason enough, isn't it?" She sneered at Daniel, pointing towards Mabel, who flinched at the hateful energy being thrown at her.

"Neither did she! And let's not forget that he," her finger was now pointed at Levi. "Was the only one to fail the challenge!" Samson scoffed, gesturing at Levi. He growled, about to speak up, but decided to hold his tongue.

"Yeah, but he tried. Fact of the matter is, if someone tries and fails, that's infinitely better than just not trying. And Mabel helped us with the hot tub and did amazing at it." The team started to agree, and Courtney's face actually turned to worry, but suddenly, an unlikely ally spoke up for her.

"I'm not sure why you all are leaning towards Courtney. I'd like you all to remember that no one has immunity." Gwen stated, pointing a thumb towards Heather. "And Heather is eligible for elimination." Said girl started to gag on her food, but luckily Owen was able to hit her back, making her spit the mush out.

"Me? Again, what did I even do?" Gwen scoffed, looking at her with hate filled eyes.

"It's not what you did. It's what you already have done. And what you will do! You were the biggest antagonist the show has seen. Why on Earth would we let you stay this time?" Heather was about to speak up, but Lindsay beat her to it.

"Giana has a point. We can get Heather out of the game right away!" She seemed giddy before noticing Heather's look. "What? You were so mean and hurtful to me! Maybe not now, but you were! So that means you're still bad, right?" She looked at Gwen, who nodded. "Yeah, so you're bad!" There were a few murmurs, and Heather looked around, shocked.

Finally, she and Courtney shared a look, one that was simultaneously a glare at one another, and also a worrisome look that this was their last day on the island.

Confessional Cam

Samson - "I think it's obvious. Courtney is being a sussy baka and it's her time to go. Plain and simple!"

Shawn - "This is a tough one! But ultimately, I think it comes down to which one I could trust in the apocalypse more! See, Heather is kinda frail and I'm not sure how she could take a zombie attack. Courtney would fight more and would knock some heads. Anyway, yeah. I definitely got to vote for Heather."

Levi - "/He scoffs, his hands crossed/ Do I even need to explain? Of course I'm voting for Courtney!"

Gwen - "Courtney annoys me, but if you think I'm going to pass up the opportunity to vote out Heather, you're just dumb. Heather needs to leave immediately."

Mabel - "Heather has been kind of annoying, but Courtney is way too demanding and mean. Heather is statistically a better bet also, since I can see her being a better teammate to make up for her previous antagonistic behavior. So Courtney gets my vote."

Lindsay - "It's like Ginny said, this is the change to get Heather off! I kinda forgave her and forgot why I was so angry at her, but I like totally remembered once Gina mentioned it! So yeah, I vote for Heather!"

Daniel - "Easy. Courtney. Look, Heather is a wicked witch sometimes, but remember. I also still think Heather is hot as hell. So yeah. Courtney gets my vote."

Owen - "I really hope Chris doesn't air these, heh! But I have to say Heather. Courtney is mean, but Heather is definitely meaner, and that's not fun to be around. I want to have a rockin' fun time, man! /He laughs, letting out a loud fart/ Anyway, I vote for Heather."

Heather - "As much as I want to get rid of that nasty rotten Goth Girl, I have to play smart and use my head here. It's obviously between me and Courtney, so I'm voting Courtney. I'm really banking on the fact that we have new people on our team and that they will vote for Courtney on her current attitude though. /She signs, pouting at the camera/"

Courtney - "I would LOVE to get that stupid nerdy kid out, but that would be a dumb vote right now. It's okay Courtney, we can get him later. For now, I'm going to use this hate Gwen riled up and vote for Heather. She needs to leave anyway, so it's good that they all remembered her past deeds!"

Dawn - "Wait… /She starts to count, then frowns/ Oh no. It's all on me huh? They both have auras that are burning so bright… Of course I would find myself in such a hard position right from the beginning, huh?"

The 11 campers all sat at the tree stumps, tensions high. Courtney and Heather were glaring daggers at one another, while Gwen was sending a glare to Heather, and Levi one to Courtney.

"Campers," Chris suddenly spoke at the podium, his hands clasped together. "These marshmallows here represent freedom at Camp Wawanakwa. And I have 10 gooey fluff balls of freedom here" Owen salivated at the host's wordage, making Samson glare at the overweight teen.

"We will be giving these 10 marshmallows out, and the camper that does not receive one, will be eliminated from Total Drama Reborn. And they can't come back. Ever!" He smirked slightly. "They will take the Dock of Shame and board the Boat of Losers." He held up the plate of marshmallows, looking towards them all. "The first person safe… Owen." The large man laughed, rising up and cheering. The marshmallow was thrown in his mouth, making him choke and rush off.

"Next up is… Lindsay!" She clapped, missing the marshmallow that bounced off her head."

"Gwen!" The goth smiled, catching her marshmallow and eating it, staring down a glaring Heather.

"Fourth marshmallow goes to Shawn!" He let out a quick fist bump, rushing over towards the host, taking his marshmallow.

"Daniel!" The archer smiled, taking his marshmallow next.

"Samson!" The otaku nodded, going to get his own marshmallow.

"Dawn!" The moonchild rose with a smile, getting her marshmallow and getting a high five from Daniel.

"Now we have here our final 4," he spoke, gesturing towards Heather, Courtney, Levi and Mabel. "You all have a reason for being here. Courtney, you and Mabel refused to jump, being the only chicken hats that are here." Courtney scowled at the host, while Mabel frowned, looking to the ground. "Levi here is the only person on his team to fail the challenge and lose it for his team! And Heather is Heather!" Levi and Heather both gave the host a death glare. "Anywho, Mabel, you must have made a good impression because you're safe!" Mabel looked surprised for a bit as a marshmallow smacked her in the face.

"The next person safe… Is Levi!" The gamer let out a small sigh of relief; despite not being concerned about being voted off, he held a little anxiety about potentially being booted.

"And that leaves us with our final two. One of you will be safe… The other has to leave the island for good." He turned to both girls, who both held a worried look on their faces.

"Courtney… Heather… The camper that is safe and remaining on the island will be…"

"Heather!"

"WHAT!?" "What?" Courtney stood up, fire in her eyes, while Heather sat with a shocked expression, barely registering as the marshmallow bounced off her face.

"Courtney! It's time to go!" Chris announced, a smile on his face. She growled and glared at the campers.

"You voted me off? ME? I have CIT experience and SHE," she hissed, point at Heather. "Is still here! You voted me off instead of Heather?" Nearby, Gwen scoffed, nodding her head, a disgusted look on her face.

"Honestly. I can't believe Heather stays." Courtney was about to shout more when Dawn spoke up suddenly.

"I had to vote for you Courtney, I'm sorry. Heather's aura is very troubling, but I feel if she didn't stay, it would continue the course and stay cracked and hurtful. She needs to stay on the island longer to get better." She was silent for a moment before she roared, rushing towards Dawn. Luckily, Samson and Daniel got in her way, protecting the moonchild.

"Get out of my way! Let me trample the freak!" She spat, unable to pass the wall of Samson and Daniel.

"No. You're not going to touch Dawn. This is why we voted you off." Daniel stated, holding back the girl, while Samson nodded.

"Exactly. You're the issue right now, not Heather or Dawn or anyone else. You need to leave." She finally stopped trying to push, glaring at both of them.

"Just you wait. Duncan is going to get revenge for me against you two. You'll see." She cracked her knuckles as she said that, but Daniel simply smirked, while Samson cracked his back.

"I'd sure like to see him try." With a final glare, she turned and started to head towards the dock. Nearby, Chris sighed, whispering to Jennette, who was standing next to him.

"Really thought we were going to need that tranquilizer." Jennette frowned, no longer hiding the gun from behind her back.

"I'd still really like to shoot someone. I bet I can hit her from this distance." Chris chuckled, but shook his head, knowing exactly the kind of lawsuit Courtney would try to bring out.

"Whatever! I don't need this island anyway! Just annoyed you all saved Heather and screwed me out of $100,000!" She stepped in the boat, and Chris coughed, a smile on his face.

"$100,000? Did I never mention the prize was different this season?" He was answered with a lot of shaking heads, making him chuckle. "Oh boy, that's an oopsy on my part! You see, this season, the prize for winning is a nice crisp, 1 million dollars!" Everyone gasped, while Courtney screamed, clutching the side of her head in anger. Before anything else, the boat started to take off, screaming Courtney with it.

"Chris you bastard!"

Mabel - "One million dollars? Well that changes things! Can you imagine the lab I could build? All the equipment? Oh by Jove! I HAVE to win!"

Levi - "Wow. That kind of money is insane. I could take a break from tournaments and just chill and stream for a while. That would be nice and relaxing. Plus, I could get a really good gaming chair! You know, they say the chair is half the battle!"

Heather - "Well, that was very close. I would be lying if I didn't say I wasn't worried. It looks like I'm going to need some allies as soon as possible. And also, 1 million? Definitely an upgrade. There is no way I can lose!"

(Crocodiles Hot Tub Party)

The music was bumping as the Crocodiles cheered their victory, some dancing and others in the hot tub.

Cody was trying to dance, while a nearby Kara giggled while watching. Next to her, Vivian was sitting and watching everyone with a small scowl. In the hot tub, Maverick was chilling with his eyes shut, enjoying the water. Next to him was Duncan, who was sipping a drink from a coconut, though no one was entirely sure where he got it.

Also in the hot tub, were Bridgette and Geoff, who for once, were not making out and instead just chilling in the tub. Charlie was next to Cody, also dancing, while Soren leaned against the hot tub, watching with a smile.

As the party was going on, no one noticed the missing homeschool boy, as well as the crazy redheaded girl.

"Come on Zeke! It'll be fun!" Izzy shouted, pushing Ezekiel from behind, who had a frown on his face. Before he knew it, they were right next to the hot tub, and the music scratched out, everyone staring at him. He immediately turned beet red, looking at everyone before he saw a thumbs up from Izzy.

"Uh… Hello everyone. I'm Ezekiel, eh." The first person to speak up was Geoof, who laughed slightly.

"Uh, Zeke my man, we know who you are." The prairie boy gulped, nodding furiously.

"Yeah, yeah, I know, I was… I guess introducing myself to the new people, eh." He fumbled with his words some more before looking once again at Izzy, who gave him a thumbs up again. With a sigh, he lowered his head slightly.

"I know we all know what I did last season, eh. I said some really dumb things and was a bad person. I've really learned about the world since, and I've… "He paused, letting out a small chuckle. "I've really had my ass beat, eh. I've learned a lot and I know now that girls are much smarter and stronger than I thought. Definitely more than me, eh. Point is, I just wanted to apologize to all of you for what I've done." He looked down towards the ground again, while it was silent.

"Bruh, you're good in my book." Geoff started, smiling. On the other side, Duncan nodded.

"Listen homeschool. I mentioned you had a lot to learn, I'm sure you learned that lesson the hard way." Next up was Cody, who chuckled slightly.

"Yeah, I'm sure Eva taught you that lesson in full, but I think it doesn't matter what we say, it's mostly the girls that you need to talk to." Izzy laughed, nodding.

"Izzy knows Zeke and she knows how much he has grown up! He knows that girls can throttle him if he isa dumb sexist! So she knows he is a great person!" Ezekiel couldn't help but smile at the praise Izzy gave him, while Bridgette spoke up next.

"I think Ezekiel is showing maturity and as long as you do that, I would be happy to call you a friend." He almost felt himself flush at Bridgette's words, when Kara nodded.

"Yeah. If everyone is saying you've improved, I have no reason to doubt it!" Charlie nodded, placing her hands on her hips.

"I try not to judge people by the actions of their past. You're good in my book!" Duncan scoffed at her words, muttering something like 'hypocrite,' but no one was able to make it out.

"Look man, I didn't watch the first season, so I'm not sure what happened." Maverick began, but his face turned to a smile. "But you seem chill, so until you are a jerk or anything, I got you." Vivian scoffed, crossing her arms.

"Don't get it twisted. I won't straight attack you, but I have my leniency. I'm not sure if this is a tactic for you to try to win and you might still be a little chauvinistic pig. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for now, but I swear if I see anything close to it." She snapped, making Ezekiel gulp. He didn't notice Soren place his hand on his shoulder, a smile on his face.

"Don't worry, that's Vivian's way of saying she believes you." She growled, looking away with a glare.

"Don't speak for me like you know me!" The group all started to laugh, while Ezekiel looked towards Izzy, a grateful smile on his face.

Ezekiel - "I have to thank Izzy, eh. I don't think I would have had the courage if she didn't help me. I know everyone says crazy things about her, and how insane she is, but Izzy is a great friend, eh! If only she wouldn't constantly scare my mom at home…"

Izzy - "Izzy sees great things in Zeke! She's still bummed he didn't get time to shine in the first season! Well now, Izzy is sure everyone will see the super nice guy that he is!"

"Count your days!" Gwen spat, walking past Heather. She rolled her eyes, but was next greeted by a stare from Lindsay.

"What she said!" She did the 'I'm watching you' expression, but almost tripped, and quickly bolted before she could get insulted. Heather continued to walk back towards the cabins, the next person near her was Samson.

"Hey, I just wanted to say thanks for not voting for me." She said, trying to sound as sincere as possible, while Samson scoffed.

"I meant what I said earlier to Courtney. She was the target. But you are probably the next one out now that she's gone. So don't thank me." With that, he walked away, leaving the girl frowning. She turned next to see Levi, Mabel and Shawn, all walking past her without a word. She turned to see Owen walking past, whistling innocently.

"Owen, I just-"

"Oh!" He interrupted, looking at his wrist, where no watch was present. "Look at the time, I gotta go!" And he rushed off, leaving the girl fuming. As she had given up, she was greeted by Daniel, who raised an eyebrow.

"Feeling overwhelmed, huh?" She was about to insult him, but felt a sigh leave her lips instead.

"What do you expect when you were the bad guy all through the first season, huh?" She let out a humorless chuckle, but Daniel shrugged, placing his hands in his pockets.

"Yeah, it's definitely an uphill battle. I guess the best advice is to own up to your mistakes and don't be a bitch." She looked at him, a glare on his face, but he simply shrugged back. "Might be a bit hard for you." He patted her shoulder, looking her in the eyes. "You got this. Remember, you're pretty hot, so you just need to work on that attitude of yours." With that, he walked off, making Heather raise her eyebrows.

"Did he call me hot?"

Confessional Cam

Heather - "He walked away before I could call him a gross nerd for calling me hot. No matter. If Daniel is attracted to me, I need to use that to my advantage. He can be my ally to help me out in the game!"

Daniel - "Do I know Heather only wants me as an ally? Yeah. I'm not going to give her that satisfaction though. She needs to work on herself. Like Dawn said, her aura is cracked. Maybe being nice or someone actually talking to her while help that heal and she will get nicer? Not sure. Only time can tell!"

Voted Off - Courtney

Well, the end of the first day is here and Courtney is the first to go. Just to clarify, I don't hate Courtney. I think she's actually a decent character. It's just how the cookie crumbles sometimes.

Regardless, I wanted to mention that I'm trying my best to upload new chapters every Monday, around 12pm PST. Is it still standard time? I don't know if it changes with Daylight Savings Time. God, I'm a scientist and I don't know how time zones work?

Anywho, hope you enjoyed it and I will see you guys next time!
