Back at Team RWBYE'S room
"Next time, im just taking you to a burger joint or something," Elridian whispered to himself as he laid Yang on her bed.
"YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN DRINKING IN THE FIRST PLACE!!" Summer shouted.
"Yeah yeah," he rolled his eyes.
He sighed, glad that he didn't get caught by Goodwitch. After covering Yang in a blanket, he walked over to his bed, he was about to take off his shoes and sleep with his beloved little rose, but apparently, unknown forces didn't want that as he felt his scroll buzzing. He cursed to himself and checked it was a message from adam.
Adam: Mission is completed.
At least it was good news, or other he would've torn Adams's head off the next time he saw him.
Elridian: Where are you currently?
Adam: I just got back. Torchwick is with me, same with Neo.
Elridian: Good, Im coming over.
Thirty minutes later
"So whatcha need, boss?" Torchwick asked curiously.
"I need you three to follow me. It's time I introduced you to someone," Elridian replied mysteriously.
Doing as they were told, they listened, and Neo walked right beside him.
After ten minutes of walking, they stopped in an open field. Elridian looked up at the moon and smiled for a bit, reuniting with his old friend, who was sealed away in his pocket dimension before he was forced out of his universe. He was excited to see him and couldn't wait to see his allies' reactions once they saw Wrath.
Turning to look at the three of them, he gave them smirks that sent shivers down their spine, already not liking their predicament.
"Now that the Pillars are activated, I've reached one percent of my power, meaning I have full access to my pocket dimension," Elrid said while creating one of his signs.
Their jaws would've dropped, but then again, their talking to an alien, so nothing should surprise them.
"Wait, you have a pocket dimension?! Thats awesome!" Summer had stars in her eyes when she heard that, finding the concept fascinating as then you could store all sorts of beautiful weapons in there.
"What next you can create weapons of mass destruction out of thin air?" Roman said sarcastically.
Neo just looked excited.
"Thats great news, so im guessing this 'someone' is in this dimension of yours?" Asked Adam
"Correct," he finished the sign, and now he released Wrath.
Adam, Roman, and Neo didn't expect much when Elridian opened one of his portals. Sure it was larger than usual, but they didn't read too much into it as they expected a man to walk out. When the three heard a horrific cry of the unknown, they began to sweat and shiver, trying to think what kind of creature could produce such a sound that could send the strongest of grim running towards the hills. They got their answer when a thing of nightmares began to reveal itself. It looked similar to Elridian's singularity form, but instead of its natural armor being rough and covered in spikes, its hide was smooth with strange designs engraved into it. The creature stood well over twenty feet and had a wingspan doubled its size and length.
"Holy oum..." That was all that Summer could say as she looked at the beast.
When it looked down, it saw Elridian and did the unexpected.
"Unbelievable..," Adam thought to himself.
Despite being absolutely terrified at the sight of such a thing, Neo couldn't help but be in awe of such a creature. Then her eyes landed on the person who summoned it. Elridian was young but held such inconceivable power, a power that must be respected or else there would be severe consequences. The more she found out about her lover, her fondness for him grew. All the fear left her body, and She got closer.
She ignored Roman and Adams's warnings and stood by Elridian's side, marveling at the creature.
Then it looked up and fixed its sight on her, then looked back at Elridian.
"My prince, it brings me great joy to see you in good health," Wrath said with its deep raspy voice.
Everyone's eyes widened when the creature could speak and said that the red-eyed teen was a prince.
"So, prince, huh? should I call you that or 'your highness?'" Torch said with a smirk.
He chuckled, "either one works."
"I see you've made allies as well, resourceful as always, my prince."
"Please, Wrath, just call me by my name. I haven't been a prince for a while now."
"As you wish," he replied, looking around then sniffed the air, "this planet is high on negative and chaotic energy, " he looked down at his prince, "you are fortunate indeed."
Elridian grinned, "you have no idea." The teen clapped his hands together, "now time to get down to business," he pointed to adam, "he's Adam Taurus, the leader of White fang, an organization who wants to coexist with humanity," this last comment caused Roman to chuckle causing everyone to look at him.
Roman composed himself with a smirk still across his face," sorry, it's just Adam doesn't fancy us, humans, if you get what im saying?"
"Well, he does now."
"Excuse me?" Adam was caught off guard.
"I understand your hatred for the humans; however, just cause a few screwed you over doesn't mean all humans will. It would be like saying all Faunus are mindless animals. See where im getting at, Adam?
Adam reluctantly nodded.
"Anyways, the fellow next to Adam is Roman Torchwick. He's a criminal with connections," he stated bluntly.
"Wow, way to make me feel special, your highness," Roman sarcastically replied.
Elridian looked at Roman with a blank expression, "just being honest," he then looked down to face Neo." This lovely lady right here works for Roman for now," he whispered that last part loud enough for Neo and Wrath to hear before he gave her ass a good smack surprising Neo and the other two to groan with disgust.
Neo, with a smirk and blush, waved at Wrath.
"Oh, she's also not the talkative type," he added.
Then Wrath nodded, "I am Wrath, I am Death-keepers Voice and enforcer, the first of his creations and the second in command of his forces. A pleasure to meet you all, " wrath said while bowing.
"First of your creations?" Summer asked.
"Yeah, as a Singularity, were capable of creating creatures called void beasts. I know very creative anyways; they are somewhat similar to Grimm, but they're better."
"Oh? How so, El?"
"For starters, whenever I get stronger, they get stronger. They can think, feel emotions, and are adaptable. They can make the process quicker, they talk, and shift to a limited degree, of course, unless your Wrath then he can shape into anything."
"Wow, that's awesome!"
"Wow, you weren't what we were expecting," Roman replied, shocked.
Wrath looked at him, "I may be a beast but Im a beast with manners."
"Now that Wrath is here, he'll be the man you answer to while I stay hidden with the shadows. Can't risk blowing my cover."
Neo tugged on his sleeve, giving him puppy dog eyes.
"Don't worry. You can always visit just, um..use your semblance when you do..anyways! I can't be seen working alongside you guys for obvious reasons."
The teen then looked at Wrath, "Go ahead."
And with that, Wrath transformed into a human male who stood at seven feet two inches, had a lean yet muscular build, hair dark as the void of space, eyes bright emerald green, and had a well-groomed medium lengthed beard. He wore a black suit with green designs on the left side of his attire, wore a green shirt underneath his jacket, and had a black tie.
"Looking good, Wrath."
Everyone's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets, and their jaws were on the ground.
"Ya know what im not going even to ask. I'll just go with the flow," Roman said, throwing his hands in the air in defeat.
"Good cause there's a lot more where that came from," Elridian smirked.
The next day
By the time Elridian got back to Beacon, it was four or five in the morning. He couldn't remember he had a long day. The only thing he cared about at the moment was sleep and holding his little rose in his arms. He slowly entered the room, doing his best not to wake anyone up while shutting the door. He took his shoes off and made his way toward the bed, admired how adorable Ruby looked, and then crawled into bed, holding her in his arms. She subconsciously smiled at this action and snuggled closer to him.
Then two hours later, he was awakened by fucking yang! The blonde was relentlessly poking his cheek, agitating the dimension-hopper in the process.
"Yang, it's too early for this shit," he grumbled while holding ruby closer.
"Oh, come on, don't be like that! Besides, we have to go to class in an hour." She continued to poke his face.
"Fuck my life." He groaned, covering his face with a pillow.
"Dramatic much?" She giggled.
"I don't like school, plus I haven't learned anything useful yet."
"Perhaps it's because you barely pay attention in class," Weiss added.
"Eh, probably, but if that fat bastard stopped stroking his own dick and taught something interesting, maybe I would pay attention."
Weiss sighed in defeat but didn't deny that he had a point.
Yang grinned and continued to poke Elridian's face.
"Goldie." He growled lowly.
"Yes, pretty boy?" She replied innocently.
"If you keep poking me, im going to punish you."
"Oh kinky, please do, daddy!" Yang replied without a hint of shame.
"Oh oum!! Be lucky im not there to smack you hang!!"
Elridian groans in response annoyed he didn't word it differently. He should have known the blonde would've made it dirty.
"Ugh, sis, stop!!" said ruby with red cheeks.
"Oh, sorry, sis, thats right. You should be calling him that instead," Yang replied cheekily.
Eh, you'll be calling him that soon enough anyway.
Ruby burst into flames and hid her face by burying her face into Elridian's chest.
Elridian groaned and played with Ruby's hair, "come on, little rose, let's get up. We gotta get ready."
"Just ten more minutes," she whined.
"Ruby," he said in a stern tone.
"Ok, ok, but you owe me a plate of cookies," she replied with puffed cheeks, poking his chest.
He chuckled, "yeah yeah, I know the drill."
After school with Elridian and Weiss
"Wow, this place is..lavish," Elridian stated as he and Weiss were in one of the five-star restaurants located in the city of the vale.
"My sister recommended this place before I came to the vale," Weiss replied with a smile.
"She has good taste in style, thats for sure."
Weiss nodded and saw the host walking toward them.
"Table for two?" the worker asked.
"Yea, please."
He nodded, "right this way."
As they followed the worker, Elridian could smell the hypocrisy, self-importance, greed, and ass-kissing it was everywhere, making its way into his nose. He did his best not to walk up to the nearest snob and bitch slam him to the next dimension as he didn't need Weiss or Glynda bitching at him, so he behaved barely. In a few instances, there were some bald motherfuckers that commented on his attire. He didn't overly dress up, but he didn't look half bad either, but apparently, if you're not wearing a monkey suit, then you're lower than trash. Weiss had to calm him down a few times.
"Note to self don't take him here next time," Weiss thought to herself while sighing.
Once they were seated, things were calmed down. Well, sorta they could both feel the eyes on them watching their every move.
"So, sister, huh? Is she the oldest?"
Weiss nodded, "Winter is the oldest, and our brother is the youngest.
"Ah, the middle child." He said in realization.
She nodded."How about you?"
"Youngest."
She quirked an eyebrow ."Oh, how many siblings did you have?"
"One, unfortunately." He growled.
Weiss arched an eyebrow, "did you two not get along?"
Elridian bitterly chuckled, "Understatement of the year."
"Im sorry, I can relate. My relationship with my family is quite..strained to say the least. The only healthy relationship I had was with my Butler Klein and the staff, but they weren't Klein, and Winter are the only one's I can stand at the moment."
"Im sorry."
She gave him a weak smile. "Don't be..its not your fault."
He nodded, then he chuckled after a minute, causing Weiss to frown, "What's so funny?"
"For a five-star restaurant, they sure are taking their time. I already know what I want. How about you?"
Weiss's frown momentarily vanished, and they looked at the menu, "the steak looks pretty good."
"Wow, I was expecting you to get a salad or some shit like that," he laughed.
Weiss's eyebrow twitch, "what are you trying to say?"
"That your not a typical girl who has to watch what she eats and practically starve themselves," Elridian replied.
"Well, when I have you as a team leader, I need all the energy I can get, so it's only logical I get as much protein into my diet as possible," she stated with her eyes closed and a finger raised in the air.
He smirked, "speaking of which, how does your body feel, by the way?"
"Pain is all I feel whenever I move, no thanks to you," she said, glaring at him with a smile.
"Eh, you'll thank me by the end of the month." He grinned and placed his hands on the table. "Besides, I had to modify the regiment heavily. The original would've killed you guys if you tried it."
"Yeah, you're definitely a masochist," Summer added.
She went pale and was about to reply, but the worker finally showed up.
"I apologize for the wait. As you can see, we are quite busy today," said the female worker.
"It's no problem, we understand. Is it usually this busy?" Weiss asked curiously.
"No, not usually guess it's one of thoughs days. Now have guys decided what you wanted?"
Elridian looked at Weiss," ladies first."
She nodded, "I'll have the steak with a side salad."
"There it is," Elridian thought to himself.
The worker nodded and looked at Elridian.
"I'll take have the two-pound burger with a side of fries," he grinned at Weiss and the worker's reaction.
The worker nodded," Your food should be ready in a bit. Any drinks?"
"Water is fine."
"Same here."
The worker nodded again and walked off.
Weiss then looked at Elridian incredulously. He noticed this and smiled "what, it ain't that much. Us voidwalkers have insane metabolisms."
"You're unbelievable. You know that?"
"And thats what you like about me," he said flirtatiously, causing Weiss to look away, attempting to hide her blush.
Two hours have passed. The two talked about themselves, and during this conversation, Elridian learned of the white-haired girl's goals. Due to her father's actions, she one day wants to restore her family name to a more favorable light, something Elridian could personally understand as his family wasn't exactly saints, not by a long shot, and his deceased older brother certainly didn't help his case. However, the only thing that bothered him was her dislike for Faunus, as before he got his hands on the organization, the white fang Weiss had lost numerous people she cared for to the group. He could sympathize with the girl; however, it still didn't excuse her mistreatment of the race as a whole, as not every Faunus is a bad one. He'd certainly have to knock some sense into the girl.
They continued to talk about each other, and he "accidentally" let his heritage slip up.
"Wait, you were a prince?" She asked in curiosity and shock.
"Yup, the second-born son of the king and queen of the Void walker empire," he said casually, but if someone were to pay attention to his facial expression, they would see the disappointment and the sadness he thought he hid well enough, but Weiss she noticed.
And she didn't miss the second-born comment, "you have a brother?"
He nodded, with his expression being the same, "Unfortunately."
It was quiet for a moment, but knowing he couldn't leave it off like that, he further elaborated, "he wasn't a good person; throughout my dimension, my brother was known as the 'Eater of the benevolent' he was responsible for the deaths of countless lives with them all dying pointlessly brutal deaths, countless planets, cultures and all sorts of things destroyed for no reason..he's nearly killed me several times during thoughs years..but even after all that I still can't hate him."
Wiess was absolutely furious. How could Elridian forgive his brother for all the pain he caused? Much less forgive him for nearly killing him. It was unacceptable! "How can you not hate him?!" Weiss almost screamed but quickly composed herself as she noticed all stares.
"Because hatred is a weakness, and I will not allow such weakness into my heart and soul as if did, then that's the day ill end myself so that the darkness doesn't consume me."
Elridian may dislike many things, but the word hate is something he could never accept. It was pointless to hate. Hate is pointless. It doesn't empower something or make anything better it only creates more hatred.
Weiss was shocked, saddened, and scared to hear that. Not caring about all the stares that would inevitably happen, she hugged him tightly. He wasn't entirely surprised that she hugged him, but he didn't want her pity or sympathy, "this isn't nec-"
"Just shut up. Don't say a word, and don't you ever say something stupid like that again. People need you. Team RWBYE needs you. I need you," she said, fighting down a blush, "you better not leave ever."
He smiled and slowly hugged back, " I promise, but ya know this wasn't necessary, right? A good smack to the face would've done well too." He chuckled.
"I think you've been through enough pain." She replied, hugging him tighter.
"Who says I wouldn't like that kinda pain?" He grinned.
She blushed and broke the hug instantly. "Ugh, you dolt!"
With Ozpin
"Hello, James. Lovely day isn't it?" Ozpin asked before taking a sip of his coffee.
"Cut the shit Ozpin. We both know why Im calling."
Glynda glared at Ironwood for his disrespectful attitude towards the headmaster, already dreading this conversation.
"Indeed I do."
"So what do you make of the kid so far?"
"Mr.Rath is relatively forward and honest, which surprises me considering all the power he possesses. I figure someone like him would want to hide his origins and abilities.."
His gaze wanders to the window and then back at James.
"Speaking of which, what have you learned from him?"
Ozpin explained Elridian's origin, the Singularities, the void walkers, the fate of his home, his silver eye, Summer being a part of Elridian, his goals, and whatever else he could learn while secretly keeping a keen on the young dimension-hopper.
James was silent, not knowing how to grasp what he had been told. It also sounded fucking insane?! But from his years of knowing Ozpin, he knew the man wasn't lying. He sighed. "What concerns me right now is if he was capable of all these feats...Then why would he bother attending?"
They all thought for a moment, and after a while, only one logical theory came to mind.
"He's weakened," Glynda whispered, but it was loud enough for Ozpin and James to hear.
They nodded. "Im still curious about how Mrs.Rose got within the void walker's soul; perhaps you could shed some light on that Ozpin?"
He thought for a moment. "Perhaps due to him entering our dimension and being weakened from the war, his soul was more susceptible to being tampered manipulated. By who, though, I have no clue, nor do I know why Summer of all people was chosen to be placed within him."
James nodded at his response. "Since he attends Beacon, who are his teammates?"
"Ruby Rose, Yang Xiao Long, Blake Belladonna, Weiss Schnee, and he is. the team leader."
James quirked an eyebrow. "Interesting team, I say, and with Summers's daughter in it? Guess I can't say im surprised."
Ozpin smirked.
"Ozpin, would it be alright if I met with Mr.Rath?" He asked politely.
He took a sip from his mug before replying, "I don't see the harm in it. Just expect to get much out of him if you plan to question him for specific information. Mr.Rath may be honest, but I know he has secrets," he says the this with a deeper tone, "and thoughs secrets he'll die to protect.
Meanwhile, at an unknown location
"Can't believe we had to drag his ass all the way here," said a boy with gray hair.
"She wouldn't have asked us if he wasn't important," a girl with mint green hair replied.
"Yeah yeah, I know, but still, he doesn't look like much. I mean, sure, the guy is built like a fucking behemoth, but other than that, I don't see much."
"Salem told Cinder that this guy had power that Salem has never felt before, so I can only guess she wants to recruit him."
"Yeah," he scratched the side of his head, "guess your right Em."
She smirked," of course, I am Merc. Now let's put him on the bed."
Once they laid the mysterious man on the bed, they just stared. The man was massive from what it looked like; he probably stood between six feet eleven inches to seven feet three inches in height. Either way, the fucker was tall and, to add to his already impressive size, was his highly defined dense muscles that put every man on Remnant to shame. His skin was copper-colored, his hair was dark as Grimm pool with white highlights, and the mysterious part about him was the tattoos that covered nearly half his body. The black and white tattoos were designs strange as it was a combination of symbols and circular shapes that ended with round edges. They chalked it up to tribal tattoos.
Then Cinder walked into the room and stopped to inspect the man. She was intrigued but wary.
"He certainly is interesting hope it wasn't too much trouble bringing him here."
"None at all," replied Emerald.
"We were just lucky he was close to the base. Traveling miles just to bring him back would've been a drag," said Mercury.
Cinder nodded and got closer to the unconscious stranger. She lightly pressed the tips of her fingers on his chest, then trailed it to his face. As she was doing this, she felt her insides heating up. It was like a fire inside her engulfed her muscles, bones, and organs, but instead of causing her unbearable pain, she felt protected and empowered by an unknown force. Whatever it was, she didn't want it to stop. She wanted to keep feeling like this, but she felt a hand grip her wrist. It was oddly gentle. She looked down to see a pair of blood-red eyes looking into her amber eyes.
Cinder, without breaking his gaze, quickly raised her other hand to stop Emerald and Mercury from attacking him.
"Who are you?" The mysterious man asked.
"Im Cinder fall, you?"
He thought before replying, "Im Ryzorin Vero Narakas," he slowly sat up and let go of Cinder's wrist, "did I hurt you?"
She smiled and shook her head.
He nodded and looked out the large window in his room, seeing the dark red sky, "it seems like im not in my dimension anymore. How interesting," he then looked at Cinder, "what's the planet's name?"
She quirked an eyebrow, "Remnant."
"Hmph," not saying anything else, he walked up towards the window and got a better look at his environment. He saw a barren wasteland with rocky terrain and strange dark purple crystals protruding out of the ground "interesting."
"Hey buddy, could you further elaborate on where your from?" Asked Mercury.
Ryzorin turns to face the three, "it doesn't matter anymore. It's gone, and hopefully he's gone too," he said that last part with anger, "so im assuming you didn't do this out of the kindness of your heart."
"Im afraid not." Cinder replied, taking glances at the man.
He nodded, "So what do you want?"
"Oh, it's not me that wants something from you. It's the one who I answer to that wants something."
He nodded. "Alright, let's go."
She motioned him towards the door, and they headed towards Salem's.
A few moments later
"Ah, there you are, and may I say you are far more impressive up close," said Salem.
When Ryzorin walked into the conference hall, his eyes were fixed on the woman known as "Salem." Her skin was a deathly pallor, had jet black sclerae in her eyes and glowing crimson irises, her hair was white, and her hairstyle was a large bun with six offshoots that were wrapped in black ornaments. Lastly, she had a black diamond-shaped marking on her forehead and dark purple veins lined on her face and arms. Her attire was that of a long black robe that had short sleeves with dark red trims, and in the middle of her robe exposed some of the skin.
"I was told you wanted something from me?"
"Straight to the point. I like it," she replied, "and I want to offer you a place within my ranks. You hold great power, and I could make use of someone of your caliber."
He thought for a moment. He didn't enjoy the thought of serving someone, but he knew nothing of this world or its universe and could feel his power wasn't what it was once before, so for now, he would wait. "If I were to join, what's your goal, and before you answer, be very careful with your response as I'll know when you lie," he threatened.
Everyone except Ryzorin and Salem tensed.
Salem narrowed her eyes and leaned towards his ear, and whispered, "the destruction of Remnant," she leaned back to look into his blood-red eyes, waiting for an answer.
A smile formed, and his eyes glowed, surprising Salem, "you got a deal. I am Ryzorin Vero Narakas," he held out his hand.
She nodded and wrapped her hand around his, "Salem," then shook it. And with this, everything on Remnant would never be the same.
"I got a bad feeling about this. What about you?" Mercury whispered to Emerald.
"Yeah, but it doesn't matter?" She whispered back.
Cinder only smirked. "I believe things will only get more interesting from now on."
