(I decided to skip the episode where Jaune finally decided to grow some balls and stood up to Cardin as I made the guy somewhat intelligent and left both teams alone. As he's deathly afraid of Elridian so this part will start with the last episode of volume one with some changes. I just wanted to clear that up, so no one gets confused or thinks I forgot about it.)
The void walker stayed the night at Neo's but not before he texted his girls that he'd gone for tonight; the multi-color-eyed teen didn't need them needlessly worrying about him. He spent most of his time watching cartoons with Fenrir while cuddling on the couch with his beautiful girlfriend. He enjoyed the relaxation and normalcy as he hardly ever got a break.
With all thats going on with his life, the void walker needed this desperately. Once everything is dealt with, he's taking a lengthy vacation with the girls and Fenrir.
It was soon Fenrir's bedtime, so once he put him to bed, he went back to the couch to snuggle up to Neo and talk about whatever came to mind. The conversation lasted for an hour until they decided to go to bed as both were immensely tired.
"Wake up," Summer said the first time lowly, "Wake up, wake up," her voice rose, but still no response from the void walker, "WAKE UP WAKE WAKE UP WAAAAAAKEEEE UUPPPPPP!!!!!" She screamed like a banshee.
Elridian groaned. "Ok, ok, Im awake," he slowly opened his eyes and rubbed his ears due to the pain, but the pain subsided after a few seconds, and his gaze shifted to Neo, smiling at how beautiful and peaceful she looked in her sleep, then pressed his lips against her forehead.
He didn't want to get out of bed. It was so comfortable, but he did have school, and so did Fenrir; thanks to the kindness of Glynda and Ozpin, he knew the girls were going to love this arrangement.
So with reluctance, Elrid slowly and gently peeled Neo off of him to not wake her, then began to get dressed. He sighed. "Now, time to wake up the little wolf," he said as he made his way toward Fenrir's room.
He entered Fenrir and gently shook him. "Hey, little wolf, it's time to wake up?" He continued to shake him gently until he saw the boy opening his eyes.
Fenrir sat up, yawned loudly, and rubbed his eyes before looking at his father. "Morning, dad..." He said groggily.
"Morning, little wolf, sleep well?"
"Yeah, It was amazing," Fenrir smiled.
Elridian smirked back. "Good, now we need to get ready," he stood up.
"Why?" He asked, confused.
"We're going to school, remember" he chuckled.
"Oh yeah!!! I almost forgot," he jumped out of his bed and began to get ready. "Im so excited!!" He said, already dressed, surprising the void walker. "I can't wait to see my other moms!!!"
The void walker chuckled; the boy's optimistic behavior was infectious. "I know you can't, and since you're ready, let's go see them before school starts," Elridian suggested.
"Ok!!!" The boy's eyes gleamed.
Elridian took Fenrir's hand and created a portal to his team's dorm. As he expected, the girls were in their school uniforms, and damn, did he forget how short the shirts were at times, not that he was complaining, of course, they all turned to look at him and Fenrir walking through the portal that closed behind them.
Ruby, still the fastest of the four, immediately enveloped him in a hug before kissing him passionately. "Yay, your back," she said happily after breaking the kiss, then looked down to see Fenrir and immediately picked him up, hugging him in the process, "and you brought Fenrir," Ruby squealed in delight.
"Hey, mom!" He hugged back happily. "Guess what?!!"
"What?" She asked, looking at the adorable faunus boy.
"Im coming to school here!!" He chirped.
The girls looked at the void walker with confusion with looks demanding an explanation.
"Surprise," he smirked, "I asked Ozpin and Glynda for assistance on his education, and they agreed, so he'll be privately taught here," he explained
"YAY!!" Ruby hugged Fenrir again, "I get to see you every day, even at school!!!" She exclaimed happily.
Yang grew an evil smirk on her face. "Oh, this gonna be fun," yang began to chuckle maniacally. "All the puns I could teach," she whispered to herself.
Everyone sweatdropped at Yang's statement; meanwhile, Weiss rolled her eyes and beamed at helping Fenrir with studying. "Well, this is certainly good news then, as I'll be the one to help with his studies," Weiss went to take the boy away from Ruby, earning a glare from the cookie lover. "I can't wait!!" She squealed as she hugged the faunus boy.
Due to Elridian's influence over time, Weiss has become less resentful toward the faunus, but that still doesn't mean her opinions on the White Fang have changed, which he could understand.
While Ruby, Weiss, and Yang were giving their attention to Fenrir, Blake walked over to Elridian, a short yet intense kiss, and then smiled at him. "Hey love, did you sleep well?"
"Yeah, I did. You?" He asked, gently placing his hand on her face and lightly rubbing her cheek with his thumb.
"For the most part..." She replied, playing her hand on his and enjoying the warmth it brought.
"Is something wrong?" He took his hand away from Blake's face but held her hand.
"No, just having one of thoughs days, I guess," she replied.
He nodded. "I understand," He checked the time and saw that they still had twenty minutes before classes started, "well, we still got a bit of time before class starts; I guess we can hang out for the next ten minutes," he smiled.
She nodded and looked at Fenrir. "Im glad he's here. Im looking forward to getting to know him."
"Me too," he let go of blake hand but not before kissing her on the cheek and walking behind Weiss, wrapping his arms around her, holding her close, and kissing her on the cheek, causing her to smile. "It's pretty adorable seeing you all act so motherly," this caused them to blush, "aren't you lucky to have such awesome moms?" he asked Fenrir.
"Yup!! The luckiest," he answered without hesitation.
They talked for the last few minutes, then when it was time, Elridian and Fenrir separated from the girl and made their way toward Glynda's office. Once they got there, he knocked on her and entered. "Hello, Glynda!!" Elridian said happily with Fenrir while closing the door after Fenrir walked in.
"Hello, Mr.Rath," she replied, looking at Fenrir. She then smiled, "and hello, Fenrir."
"Hi, miss Goodwitch!!" Fenrir lightly waved, "you look pretty today," he complimented.
"Why thank you, thats very nice of you to say," her smile grew considerably "are you ready to begin?"
"Yeah!!" He quickly hugged Elridian. "See you later, dad," he then walked toward Glynda.
Elridian chuckled. "Later, little wolf," he looked at Glynda and nodded, then left.
A few hours went by; the classes were boring, and the girls were up to their usual antics while Fenrir was enjoying his time with Glynda learning the basics of many subjects. He absorbed all the information like a sponge and took a liking to academics which shocked the older blonde as not many children like school but was pleased to know Fenrir was unlike most kids his age.
School has ended, and Weiss decided to drag the Team and Fenrir to the vale. They walked down the streets, Fenrir holding Elridian's and Ruby's hands as they walked behind everyone else while Yang and Blake conversed, and Weiss was in the front of the group.
They then stopped to look at a sign saying "welcome to vale" with an exclamation mark at the end.
"The Vytal festival, oh, this is absolutely wonderful!" Weiss happily said, causing the girls to look at her, bewildered by her excitement, and Elridian to smile as he loved her happier side.
"Besides, when El is around, I don't think ive ever seen you smile this much, Weiss," Ruby commented, putting her free hand on her hip and looking uncomfortable, "It's kinda weirding me out," she finished.
"I think it's adorable," replied Elridian.
Weiss fought down her blush and looked at the others. She looked at Elridian. "Why, thank you, love," then at Ruby, "and how could you not smile? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world, there will be dances, parades, and a tournament. Oh, the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breathtaking," she finished, and they continued to walk.
Yang sighed. "You really know how to take a good thing and make it sound boring," she said, crossing her arms.
"Damn, what's with all the negativity," Elridian asked, "im for one, glad she's excited about something that doesn't relate to me," he joked, causing Weiss to turn beet red, "but really, Im pumped for this," he looked at Fenrir, "how about you buddy aren't you excited?"
"YEAH, THIS GONNA BE FUN!! I WANNA FIGHT IN THE TOURNAMENT AND KICK SOME BUTT," Fenrir exclaimed happily.
"When you a bit older, you can?"
"Ok!"
"See, at least my wonderful men understand my excitement and are happy to be here," Weiss commented.
"Thats because they're with us, so it doesn't matter where they go or what they do as long as it's with us; they're happy, am I right, guys?" Ruby asked, smirking at the two men in her life.
"Yup," they replied in unison.
"Besides them, we," Yang motioned to herself, Ruby and Blake, "have different definitions of exciting," Yang added, rolling her eyes.
"Quiet you!" Weiss shot back, glaring at the blonde.
They soon were by the ducks. "Ok, why are we at the dock, hun?" Elridian asked.
Yang wrapped herself around him and kissed him on the cheek. "Im with him on this one. I'd rather be back home doing other things," yang seductively whispered into his ear, then lightly nibbled on his ear, causing the void walker to shudder in excitement.
The girls glared at the blonde. "You dunce not in front of our child," Weiss nearly shouted.
Yang smirked. "Oops, im sorry," yang replied with mock innocence.
Elridian chuckled. "Alright, alright, please love enlightened us on why we're here," he motioned toward the docks.
Weiss glared at the blonde for a few moments, then huffed as her attention turned toward the docks. "Ive heard students are visiting from Vacuo will be arriving by ship today, and as a representative of beacon, as I feel it is my solemn duty to welcome them to this fine kingdom," Weiss answered.
Then they began to walk away from the docks. "So, in other words, you want to spy on them to gain the upper hand? Smart but unnecessary," Elridian replied but kissed Weiss's cheek either way for thinking ahead.
Weiss blushed. "What do you mean?"
"After all the training I put you guys through, the competition might as well give up. The only ones that are a threat to winning are JNPR," he replied.
Weiss had to admit he was right. With the training, Sign magic, and boost in power, the victory was more in their favor, but it never hurt to be prepared. "I can see your point, but still, would you rather be safe than sorry?" She playfully argued.
Elridian playfully rolled his eyes. "If you feel it's necessary, I won't stop you," he then turned, and his eyes narrowed as, at a distance, he saw a crime scene. The others soon looked in his direction and were curious and shocked at the sight.
They walked over to the crime scene." what happened here?" Ruby asked.
"My guys got sloppy," Elridian thought, scowling, "but as long as no innocents got hurt, I don't care."
"Robbery, this is the second dust shop this," one of the detectives answered, then walked away, commenting, "this place has turned into a jungle."
"That terrible..." said Yang.
"They left all the money again," the other detective commented, getting the attention of the girls and Fenrir.
"Yeah, it just doesn't make a lick of sense. Who needs that much dust?"
"I don't know."
"You thinking the White fang?"
"Yeah, im thinking we don't get paid enough."
Weiss, despite her pessimistic view of Faunus, mostly vanishing due to the influence of Elridian and recently Fenrir, there was still that hatred for the White Fang. "Hmph, the White Fang, what an awful bunch of degenerates," the heirs commented.
"Oh boy," Elridian whispered to himself, seeing Blake glaring at the white-haired girl.
"What's your problem?" Blake asked, trying not to sound offended but failing miserably.
"What's the white fang, mom?" Fenrir asked before any words between the two could be said
Weiss turned and looked at the wolf faunus. "They're a bunch of nasty people who do things, horrible things," she squatted down to Fenrir's level and poked his nose, "and you better not ever associate yourself with them, you understand, young man," Weiss asked in a stern tone and had a neutral expression.
"Yes, I understand," Fenrir replied, "I don't wanna be a bad person 'cause I wanna be a hero like you guys!" He said excitingly.
They most smiled at this except for Blake, who was still annoyed with Weiss.
"I'd hardly say they're all terrible people, more like a collection of misguided faunus," Said Blake crossing her arms.
Weiss's left eye slightly twitched, and she stood up to face the amber-eyed girl. "Misguided," she said incredulously, "They want to wipe humanity off the face of the planet."
"Well, they used to," the void walker commented in his thoughts.
A lot of the members did have a hatred for the humans, but a majority genuinely wanted equal rights, which Elridian would happily give them when he created his kingdom. For now, they would have to put up with the bullshit of ignorant humans.
"So then they're very misguided either way; It doesn't explain why they would rob a dust shop in the middle of downtown vale," she argued.
"Blakes got a point...besides, the police never caught that torchwick El and I ran into a few months ago...maybe it was him," Ruby suggested.
Weiss, still not looking remotely finished with her argument, was about to make another comment relating to the white fang, so Elridian did the one thing he knew would shut the heiress up.
He grabbed Weiss and twirled her around, then pulled her into a deep passionate lip lock.
Yang and Blake rolled their eyes, and Ruby covered Fenrir's eyes, but they all knew that he was getting Weiss to shut up about the current topic, so they were grateful to their boyfriend.
After a few seconds, he pulled away, much to the whimpers of Weiss. "Why'd you stop?" She whined, already forgetting about the white fang.
Elridian grinned. "Behave," his voice lowered, "and you'll get a lot more than just that," he commented suggestively.
Weiss felt shivers of joy going down her spine as she blushed fiercely. "Ok, ill be civil," she said lowly.
"Thats, my little ice empress," said Elridian giving her a new nickname that didn't help Weiss's blush go down any faster
"Hey, stop that faunus!!" A person shouted from a distance.
In a flash, Elridian was already there with the others soon by him and watched as they watched a monkey faunus run away from two people. "Thanks for the ride, guys!!" Said the monkey faunus as he jumped off the ship, landed on the docks, and then hung off a lamppost while eating a banana.
"I like this guy," the void walker chuckled.
"Of course you do; you're the biggest troublemaker around," Weiss rolled her eyes at her boyfriend.
"Damn right I am," he said proudly, "but Fenrir, you behave," he said, looking at his son.
"Yes, dad."
Elridian ruffled his hair. "Goodman."
A few moments later, the monkey faunus passed by them with the detectives from earlier hot on his tail but not before he winked at Blake, annoying the void walker greatly and causing him to growl slightly.
Blake grabbed his hand, putting him at ease, and looked at Blake with a thankful smile.
"Well, Weiss, you wanted to see the competition, and there it goes," yang commented.
"Quick, we have to observe him," Weiss ran toward the monkey faunus.
Elridian sighed, picking Fenrir up and running alongside the others. They were hot on the competition's trail, but Weiss accidentally bumped into someone else, both collapsing to the ground.
"No, he got away," Weiss shouted.
"Uh, Weiss," Yang pointed.
Weiss looked down to see she was on top of an orange-haired girl who gave her an odd smile which immediately got Weiss to stand up, startling the heiress.
"Hey, Summer and Soul, how much you wanna bet she's an Android," Elridian joked about how unnatural the girl was acting.
"If I were alive? All my Lien," Summer answered.
"You already have everything I can currently provide you, so nothing," Soul replied flatly.
"Fair enough."
"Salutations!!!" The girl replied in a cheerful tone while still on the ground.
"Is there something wrong with her dad?" The wolf faunus whispered.
"Um, hello," Ruby replied.
"Are you ok?" yang asked, weirded out by the strange girl.
"Im wonderful, thank you for asking," she replied, still laying on the ground, much to the amusement of Elridian and the bewilderment of the others.
"Do you want to get up," yang asked, giving the girl a perplexed look.
"Yes," then pushed herself up and was too close for comfort for most of them, so everyone except Elridian stood back a few paces. "My name is Penny. It's a pleasure to meet you," she introduced herself.
"Hi, penny, im ruby."
"Im Weiss."
"Blake."
"Are you sure you didn't hit your head?" Yang asked and received a light smack to the head by Elridian and hit to the side by Blake, "oh, Im yang."
"Im Elridian, and this little one is Fenrir," he gestured toward the boy.
"Hi," he shyly replied.
"It's a pleasure to meet you," Penny repeated.
"You already said that."
"So I did." Penny realized.
"Well, sorry for running into you," Weiss replied as they all began to walk off.
"Later, my strange friend," Elridian replied as he waved her goodbye.
"Bye, Penny," Ruby waved.
As they were far enough from the strange girl now known as penny yang decided to break the awkward silence. "She was weird."
"I don't know. I found the girl entertaining," Elridian replied, chuckling, and looked down at Fenrir, "what do you think, little wolf?" He asked.
"She was weird but funny," Fenrir replied, "will we ever see her again?"
Before anyone could reply, the girl they were just talking about appeared right before them, startling most of them.
"What did you just call me?" The strange girl asked.
Weiss's face contorted into absolute confusion as she pointed in the direction they came from, looking back and forth repeatedly.
"Oh, im really sorry I definitely didn't think you heard me," yang quickly replied.
"No, not you," she walked up to Elridian and was virtually nose to nose with him, causing the girls to growl at how close she was to their boyfriend and Elridian to smirk, "you."
"Im assuming this about me calling you friend, correct," he guessed.
"Yes, am I really your friend," she asked, getting even close to his face if that were even possible.
He looked at the girls who had dangerous looks in their eyes, causing him to laugh inwardly at the scene before him. "Sure, I like to make new friends," he grinned.
The girls growled and glared at him. He would get an earful when they returned to Beacon, but it was absolutely worth it.
"You play a dangerous game El; sure, you'll live to tell the tale," Summer asked amusedly.
The void walker didn't reply as Summer already got her answer when she saw the shit-grin plastered on the boy's face, making her sigh at his actions.
" Sen sensation," penny raised her fists in the air, happy she made a friend, "We can play video games, try on clothes; too bad we can't talk about cute boys," she looked at Elridian again and felt strange heat coming to her cheek, "hey your really cute," she said casually getting Elridian to burst out laughing and the girl to glare daggers at the strange girl.
He wiped away the fake tears from his face and looked at Penny. "Thank you for the compliment," he let another chuckle out before continuing, "so what are you doing in Vale?"
"Im here to fight in the tournament."
'Wait, you're in the tournament?" Weiss asked.
"Im combat-ready," Penny saluted to Weiss.
"Forgive me, but you hardly look the part."
"Says the girl wearing a dress," Blake shot back.
"It's a combat skirt," she crossed her arms, and Ruby was instantly by her side.
"Yeah," she agreed," giving Weiss a low five.
"Im not complaining," he looks at Weiss's long smooth legs smirking, "gives me a good and better access," he said, making all the girls except penny to blush hotly at his last comment.
"Wait a minute, if you're here for the tournament, does that mean you know that monkey-," she caught herself from saying anything too offensive, "does that mean you know who that monkey faunus is?" She asked Penny.
"Who?" Penny asked, confused.
"Don't worry about it, Penny, anyways; we need to go. I'll see you around," he waved her off
"Ok, bye, friend!" Penny waved them goodbye.
00000000000000000000000000
Once they returned to Beacon, Elridian took Fenrir back to Neo's, but when he got near his dorm, he saw Blake running out of their dorm in haste. "Blake!!" He shouted, but his words were ignored, so he walked into his dorm, seeing Weiss was infuriated, Ruby was worried, and Yang was stressed. "Ok, what the fuck happened while I was gone?" he asked.
"Blake just admitted she was a part of the white fang," Weiss replied.
"Ah shit," he sighed, rubbing his head, "the second I left, everything turned to a shit storm..I should have convinced Blake to tell you guys months ago," he said, shocking everyone.
"WHAT?!!" They shouted in unison.
"You knew," Weiss asked, getting in his face, her pale blue eyes piercing his soul with fury.
"Of course, I knew, but it wasn't my secret to tell, but after your guy's little argument, I was going to have Blake talk to you guys about it without the discussion turning to an utter shit show but noooo, someone had to open their big fucking mouth and ruined that," his eyes narrowed dangerously causing the girls to move uncomfortably, "Did you start this?" He demanded from Weiss.
The look that she gave told him everything he needed to know. "Yes, I did...I was so confused and angry about why she would," Weiss's voice was shaky, "defend people who targeted my family for as long as I know they took so much from my family, and...because of them, every time my dad came home, he was furious...he would-" she was interrupted by a hug from Elridian.
"It's ok, I understand," he kissed her forehead, "but you have to understand one thing, my love, something Ive learned from a very young age," he paused and looked into Weiss's eyes, "that not everything is black and white, very few things in life are truly good or evil. Your family and the White Fang have equally done terrible things to one another or others, and don't try to convince me otherwise 'cause you're talking to the person who is the definition of morally gray," his voice deepened at the end.
"What do you mean, El?" Ruby asked.
He sighed, letting go of Weiss and sitting on one of the beds. "Let's not bullshit anything or sugar anything; you guys Know it, Ozpin and Glynda know it, and I especially Know that im not fucking saint, far from it; Im, a killer." This confession caused the girl to shift uncomfortably.
A part of the girls knew that he didn't just kill monsters; they knew everything that was living was fair game for him. They never brought it up as there was no need to but also because they knew if they tried to question his methods, the girls would lose that argument with him, so they never bothered.
"I have a body count so damn high it makes a million oceans combined look small in comparison," this statement caused the girls to look at him in shock. One of them was about to interrupt him, but he raised his hand, gesturing to let him finish, "yet you all accepted that. Why is that?" He asked curiously.
"Because you're a good person..." Ruby answered.
"And why do you think that?"
"Because despite your flaws, we know you do things for the betterment of all," Weiss answered.
Elridian gave them a soft smile. "Are you guys seeing my point here?"
They nodded.
"Good, as long as you understand that just because a particular group is known for committing immoral acts, it doesn't mean that everyone from the said group is the same. Blake isn't a terrorist," he looked at Weiss lovingly, "and your not your father," he finished and went to envelop them in a group hug, and they instantly hugged back.
"Im sorry," Weiss said, sounding like she was about to tear up.
"There's nothing to forgive," he kissed her head.
"So what now?" Ruby asked.
"Im going to look for Blake, obviously," he answered.
"How are you going to find her?! She could be anywhere-" Yang paused as she remembered the marks that Elridian put on their necks, "oh, never mind," she sheepishly smiled.
Elridian chuckled. "You guys stay here. It's better if I go alone due to her state," he explained, which they understood.
"Be safe," said Ruby.
After hugging them once more, he left the dorms and began to track down Blake.
00000000000000000000000000
"What are you doing here?" Blake asked Sun, who was hanging from a lampost.
"Oh, you know," he dropped to the ground, walking toward Blake and stopped a few feet away, "just looking around," he grinned, "anyways, why's a girl like you out here alone, crying?" He asked softly.
"My teammates.." She points to her ears.
"Ah, figured out you were a faunus?" He deduced.
"Yeah..."
"What are you going to do now?"
She looked down. "I don't know, but I need-" someone cut her off who was behind her.
"I hope that last part involves me, or otherwise imma really upset," Elridian joked, walking toward his girlfriend.
Blake felt some of her sadness disappear when she turned to see it was Elridian, and she immediately ran toward him, locking him in a tight hug. He strokes the back of her hair, calming her down, but then his multi-colored eyes lock onto the monkey faunus from earlier, and his gaze hardens, causing the faunus to gulp.
His attention soon returned to his girlfriend. "I heard about what happened; Im sorry I wasn't there to defuse things," he sighed, "things would've ended a lot better if I had been there."
She shook her head. "It's not your fault. It was mine for getting to heat up and yelling things out like an idiot," she said, sobbing.
"You're not an idiot. I understand Weiss can be difficult, to say the least," he joked, "but running off like that only made things worse, or it would've if I hadn't been there to enlighten Weiss," he explained before Blake could say anything.
Blakes's eyes widened, and she looked into her boyfriend's eyes. "How?" She asked, bewildered by how easily Elridian could handle most things.
"Because I understand that everything or everyone is what they seem?" He replied.
Tired of being the third wheel, the monkey faunus decided to cut into their conversation. "Ok, imma guess your one of her friends?"
Both looked at him. "Nah, Im Blakes's boyfriend," he replied with a smug grin, "but who are you?" He asked with a hint of aggression in his voice.
Startled by the younger teen's tone and upset that the girl he was interested in was taken, he quickly answered as the raven-haired teen scared the shit out of him. "Im Sun Wukong, You?"
"Elridian Rath," his attention turned toward Blake, "so will we head back or head somewhere else? Either way, I don't mind as long as im with you," he gave her a deep kiss that Blake quickly melted into and caused significant discomfort to Sun.
"Way to rub in, El," Summer commented, glaring at the boy.
"Don't care," he replied as he was too busy enjoying the lip-lock with his beautiful girlfriend.
They soon broke the kiss. "Can we head somewhere else? I don't feel comfortable going back yet," she said nervously.
Elridian nodded and created a portal to an unknown location. "You're coming too, Sun," the void walker said before entering the portal with Blake.
Sun breaking out of his bewilderment, quickly entered the strange portal. Once he entered, his widened at the location they were, it looked like something only the wealthiest people of Remnant could afford. "Holy shit, this place is fucking awesome!!" Sun shouted.
Blake looked in amazement at the apartment. "How could you afford this place?" She asked incredulously.
The place looked like something only the wealthiest of people could afford.
"Got lucky in investment," he answered vaguely.
What transpired was unimportant as Elridian and Blake went to bed, and Sun took one of the guest's rooms. Early in the morning, the three were at a cafe shop. There was an awkward silence, mainly on Sun's end, as he was the third wheel here.
"So, are we going to talk about your previous affiliation with the White Fang," Elridian asked bluntly before taking a sip of his tea.
Sun's eyes widened as he looked at Blake, and Blake visibly flinched. "You were a part of the White Fang," Sun asked Incredulously.
"Yeah...I was a member for most of my life; actually, you could almost say I was born into it. Back then, things were different. In the ashes of war, the White Fang was meant to be a symbol of peace and unity between the humans and the faunus; of course, despite being promised equally, the faunus were subjected to discrimination and hate. Humanity still thought of us as lesser beings, so the white fang rose up as our voice of the people, and I was there. I was at the front of every rally. I took in part of every boycott, and I thought we were actually making a difference, but I was just a youthful optimist. Then five years ago, our leaders stepped down, and a leader took his place."
As Blake continued, Sun listened while Elridian knew where this story was going as, after all, he's seen it plenty of times back home.
"A new leader with a new way of thinking, suddenly our peaceful protests were being replaced with organized attacks; we were settings fires to shops that refused to serve us, hijacking cargo from companies that used faunus labor, and the worst part was it was working we were being treated as equals but not out of respect out of fear," she placed her cup down, "so I left I decided I no longer wanted to use my skills to aid in their violence and instead I would dedicate my life to becoming a huntress so here I am a criminal in hiding in plain view all with the help of a little black bow," she finished as she looked up at her bow.
"So, did you tell any of your friends any of this?" Sun asked.
"Yeah, she did; I had to straighten things out," replied Elridian.
They looked at Elridian, who didn't look surprised at the info dump he received.
"Did you already know?" Blake asked slowly.
"Yup," he replied flatly.
Their eyes widened at his confession.
"And you never said anything?" Blake hissed, glaring daggers at her boyfriend.
"Figured we eventually talk about it, and I was right, wasn't I?" He grinned, putting his hands behind his head, unfazed by the glare that would send most men running for the hills.
Blake sighed as her glare disappeared. "Yeah..."
"There are not many humans I know that would be alright with their girlfriend being an ex-member of the White fang...you must really love her, huh?" Sun chuckled.
Elridian smiled. "With all my heart," that comment caused blake to blush but smile at her boyfriend and hold his hand, "also, Im not a human or a faunus," he clarified.
Sun arched an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
"Im, a sub-species of human called void walkers," he glanced at the older teen, who seemed unconvinced at his statement, "believe me or not, it doesn't matter what matters is what we're going to do now?" He asked, expecting his girlfriend to want to investigate the dust shop robberies and the White Fang's involvement.
0000000000000000000
While Elridian, Blake, and Sun were making plans, the rest of Team RWBYE walked around the vale worried about their boyfriend and friend.
"I hope they're doing alright," Ruby couldn't help but be concerned despite Elridian being one of the most dangerous people on Remnant.
"Oh, come on, little sis, you heard what El said last night; he's one of the biggest badasses around, and I know Blake is the safest by his side," Yang comforted her little sister.
"Arent you worried?" Ruby asked as she couldn't understand how Yang could be so calm about this right now.
Yang sighed and played with her hair. "Of course, Im worried, but I trust El has everything under control. He's the leader for a reason," she pointed out.
"Yangs right. Despite my concerns, we need to relax and let El do what he does best," Weiss added, her arms crossed.
"Hi guys," penny chirped, causing scaring the girl half to death as they turned to face the odd girl.
"AH, PENNY, WHERE DID YOU COME FROM?!!" Ruby shouted.
"Hey, guys, what are you up to?" She asked.
"Uh..."
"Just walking around," Yang answered.
"Oh, where's Elridian and the Faunus girl?" Penny asked, curious about where her first friend went.
The girls looked at the strange girl incredulously; as the wind blew, a tumbleweed passed them.
"How did you know she was a faunus?"
"The cat ears."
"She doesn't have cat ears. She wears a bow..." The realization came to Yang and the others.
"She does like tuna a lot," Ruby whispered to Yang.
"Anyways, where are they?" Penny asked, getting back to the main topic.
"We don't know; they've been gone since last night and were worried," Ruby replied.
"Oh, thats terrible," the strange girl got in Ruby's personal space, "well don't you worry, Ruby, my friend, I won't rest until we find your teammates," she promised with her fists on her hips.
"Uh, thats really nice of you, Penny, but im sure El has everything under control, right guys," Ruby asked her friends. But she turned to look at them; they were nowhere to be seen as another tumbleweed passed by the two due to the wind.
"It sure is windy today," penny commented after several seconds of awkward silence.
