Okay, this is basically my response to this chiclé of "Lincoln Ran Away Because He Feel Miserable" since nobody thought into a Deconstruction.

This is an One-Shot that deconstruct the mentality behind these stories.

Review this story to see what you think about this One-Shot.

It's night time on Royal Woods, everyone in the Loud Residence is sleeping for the weekend, except three people, the third oldest have something in mind.

Luna noticed something strange about her younger brother Lincoln, he look like that he was planning something.

For the last days, Lincoln was gathering some things related to an adventure – Backpack, food, water – so she decided to ask for Lucy to spy on him.

"I hopethis isn't what I am thinking, if it is what I'm thinking, me and Lucy are going to stop him."

Luna see Lucy enter her bedroom through the vents, Luan was sleeping and Lucy can walk without causing any noise, she was carrying some bad news.

"Luna, you need to follow me now." Lucy told to her, the 15 Year old obeyed her young sister, the duo exit the bedroom.

"Lucy, what he is planning to do?" Luna asked her, they see Lincoln walking down the stairs, the backpack on his back, Luna and Lucy hid on the shadows to make sure that their brother don't see them.

Lincoln can finally escape, be free from being a "burden", he walked slowly during his escapade to not wake up his sisters, though they would notice that their brother disappeared. Except it won't work since his plans are going to be thwarted.

The two sisters was thinking in how to stop him, Lucy whisper to her big sister. "I know an alternate route to the outside of the house."

"Then lead me there, Lincoln can't run away." Luna whispered back, Lucy walk to Lincoln's bedroom, Luna now understand what to do, there is a hidden stair on the window.

Back to Lincoln's perspective, he is now on the living room, he look to the couch and to the trophy case, the part with his name is still empty, he won't be a burden to his family anymore. But he don't know how valued he was and wasn't really a burden.

He grab a copy of the key from the house in his jeans, he carefully opened the door to not wake up his sisters.

He finally open the door, but what he see startle him, Luna and Lucy were in front of the door, but Luna isn't angry, her expression is of sadness and disappointment, Lucy is still stoic but Lincoln is sure that she is sad like Luna, the sisters enter the house and corner Lincoln but not before closing and locking the door and retrieving his key.

"Luna and Lucy, how you two knew about my plan?" Lincoln asked to his sisters, he was really scared of what they could do with him, Luna grab his wrist and they move to the couch.

"It don't matter but we are going to talk things out, I'm not angry with you so don't worry." Luna told what she is going, Lucy is following them, they eventually sit on the couch.

Luna take the backpack from her brother, she is going to put the stuff on their rightful place, she now is going to talk with him.

"Bro, why you decided to run away?" Luna sincerely asked for his answer, Lincoln is thinking on the answer.

"Sis, I think it would be better if I cut myself from your lives, none of them would understand my issues, I feel jealous of their talents, my part on the trophy case is empty." Lincoln said all of his answers at the same time, Luna's expression didn't change, she now have to be honest.

"Bro, I'm going to be honest with you, while I sympathize with you feeling like a burden, some of this stuff could have been averted if you talked to me about it." Luna spoke with honest, Lincoln didn't expect this from her.

"Sis, you know what Lori, Lynn and Lola are, they would laugh at me, they even mock Lucy, imagine what they would say about the fact that I'm a talentless brother." Lincoln replied back, he resented these three sisters, there don't have any pretense of sibling bond between him and any of them.

"So you think that I would mock, belittle you and dismiss your issues?!" Luna questioned to him, Lucy decide to join her.

"Yeah Lincoln, you know that I'm a victim from their antics too, you think that I won't understand you, I feel this too but I never attempted to run away." Lucy spoke her opinion, Lincoln didn't expect his young sister to be call him out.

"But I don't have any talent, Luna discovered her talent with music and you Lucy, you discovered how good you are at poetry, I am merely a peacekeeper since Lori always is on her phone talking with Bobby." Lincoln is close to cry, he resented Lori so much. "That why I felt you two wouldn't understand my issues, why you two didn't notice how I felt?"

"Lincoln, we are not psychics, even if I look like one, you aren't innocent too, you are always creating a stunt that always backfire and to get time for yourself, while these three won't allow it, me and Luna would happily allow it." Lucy bluntly stated to her big brother, Lincoln don't have any answer to it but his sisters aren't finished.

Luna slightly frowned. "Yeah, It is either you creating an unnecessary scheme to get what you wanted that always backfire on our end, or keeping complaining about the fact that you don't have time for yourself, or even jump at the first opportunity of being successful. I always asked to you if things were okay between me and you and you always said 'yes' and I believed you, and now you wanted to run away through impulse, without a destiny in mind, how I would see you felt being a burden since you didn't told me about it, why you didn't trust me?"

Luna begin to cry, feeling that she wasn't a good sister enough, she sniffled but didn't rub her eyes. "Lincoln, I'm sorry that I messed something up, I really thought that I was being different from the other sisters, I would never forgive myself if something bad happened with you, but I am disappointed that I wasn't trustworthy enough, I'm gonna reflect on my behavior."

Lincoln is now conflicted, he realized how stupid his idea was and utterly unnecessary but he didn't expect to see Luna cry like this and apologize for things that she never did.

"No Luna, there wasn't anything wrong with you, I was just being an idiot as always, I should have trusted you more, I hope that I can make this right, I'm sorry for all of the mess that I created, I'm so selfish." Lincoln tried to comfort his big sister, he was crying too.

"Lincoln, All of us messed things up, you always caused trouble to us, Luna gave noise complaints to our parents while I never trusted anyone about my issues but this don't make us bad people, running away don't solve your problems, only create new ones but feeling sorry for yourself won't help too." Lucy spoke to her brother but continued to talk more.

"Lincoln, I'm sorry if I messed something up too but we can't dwell on our past mistakes, we can start by telling someone that one of us trust about our issues." Lucy finished and pulled two handkerchief to Luna and Lincoln.

They began to rub their eyes and Luna had an idea. "I know someone that I can trust, Sam can help us, lets go for our beds before someone notice us." She then look to her Brother. "Bro, goodnight."

"Goodnight, Sis." Lincoln then hug Luna, Lucy joined too, Luna put the food inside the backpack in the fridge, along with the water to make sure that nobody knew about this fiasco and then they go for their respective bedrooms.

Luna see Lincoln going for his bedroom, smiling since she made sure that Lincoln wouldn't run away, Lucy entered on the vents to the bedroom that she share with Lynn.

The teen quietly enter her bedroom and close the door slowly, she goes for her bed, tear stains is still on her face, she then thought on what to do.

"I need to call Sam to come here, she might have an idea."

She then fall asleep, satisfied with her mission being accomplished.

End.

A Happy Ending for this Trio, deconstructions don't need to be dark to work.

In these stories, Lincoln always run away due to some crap that the story present, it is either him feeling a burden or something about his sisters, he returning to the house and being rewarded by it.

If Lucy or Luna did this, the response would be more harsh, nobody would sympathize with them, no matter the reasons, the narrative would side against them, be treated as a bad thing in general, it's easy to see this plotline as a chicle but it's hard to see the double standard.

This story don't follow the continuity from the show.

Sam X Luna is real here if you're wondering about it.

Fun Fact: I wrote this One-Shot in two hours and half.
