For Lyme, still battling guilt and trauma as she recovers from her recent victory, the adoration comes too soon.

NOT A SYOT. What if the characters from the famous 74th games never were reaped in the first place? Instead, an entirely different group of characters are sentenced to fight to the death in the arena, until one lone victor remains. Is ones fate set in stone?

After the war, Katniss finds herself plagued by nightmares. Desperate for sleep, she finds a haven in her mentor. If he can keep the memories at bay enough to sleep, maybe, in his presence, she could too. And so what if she keeps one of his discarded bottles as trophy? If she keeps coming back for solace, maybe they'll be proof of sleepless nights without nightmares.

Katniss settles down with Peeta and starts a family despite her saying she'd never have kids due to the games. Katniss' daughter Willow is now 16, and it's time for the reaping. Willow finds herself to be a participant in the 122nd Hunger Games and it's safe to say that it was no happy accident.

Peeta has a dream. Katniss can't quite go with it. But that doesn't stop him. And when he comes home, he finds a delightful surprise. *Based off of Micheal Buble's song, "Home"
