Hailey proved herself to be a mischievous little devil, easily causing some kind of chaos or simply making some form of mess out anything, most notably when her parents were trying to feed her by either spitting out her food while laughing or catapulting her food on either her parents or one of her dad's friends. Much to the amusement of the ones not falling victim to the infant's antics and the frustration of the ones who did fall victim to her antics.
Something that was difficult to not notice was the fact that Hailey had started to display features similar to her adopted parents, mainly her hair color changing to match her parents' (red that seemed to become darker (nearly black) the closer it got to the roots). While James and Lily were surprised by their adopted child's transformation, they weren't too alarmed by it as they assumed that little Hailey was a Metamorphmagus or at least some variant of a Metamorphmagus. Little Hailey was definitely quite the odd one but there were things about her that was more normal than others. One such thing that was unusual but not necessarily strange was a particular liking to a pair of unusual plushies that she got as presents from one of her mom's friends. The thing about the plushies was unusual was their shape, namely the fact that they were blocky and pixelated. The block-shaped plushies in question was a bee and a dark blue manta-ray-like creature.
Though something that people did find strange about Hailey was the fact that they couldn't help but feel unnerved by her presence, despite the fact that she was just a baby. The fact that animals seemed to try and get as far away from her as possible further summented that she wasn't normal. In spite of that, Hailey's parents and those who were considered family loved her. Though the old man known as Albus Dumbledore, who many people in the Wizarding World saw as a figure for guidance, seemed to be extra unnerved by Hailey, even to the point where he suggested to the Potters to get rid of the child, which thankfully fell upon deaf ears.
