Shinji rejected Instrumentality, but he made so many mistakes. He has one last chance to set things right, to unravel everything and save what matters. A retelling or altering of the series, an altered version of Shinji with an altered past. Life takes a different path, but do all paths lead to the same destination? Is Shinji doomed to never know happiness?

A series of really short stories and parodies, mixing Asushin themes with some iconic scenes from famous movies and series. To make things more interesting, I won't tell in advance which movies or series are going to be mixed in each story. Spoilers for the final Rebuilds movie 3.0 1.0 (Thrice Upon a Time) begins in Chapter 5.

During dinner conversation, it turns out that Shinji met someone when he ran away.

"It's shocking how simple it is to tear the world apart, but rebuilding it, that isn't so easy." the older man mused. "I know," the boy replied, that weight in his chest a bit too heavy "I can't remember the last time I wasn't trying to fix it." (Bridge between NGE - Rebuild)

Kaworu Nagisa approaches Misato Katsuragi in place of Shinji Ikari. The two of them discover that they have a hidden connection going back to the day of Second Impact. Everything is not as Misato thought it was... SHE is not who she thought she was.

Shinji Ikari said goodbye to All of Evangelion, and that world was no more. But now time has passed and the world is ever changing, even without the seeds of the First Ancestral Race, Man still attempts to better himself. Come Mana Kirishima and the T•RIDEN•T. a Rebuild(t) world with an Iron Maiden. Spoilers for 3.0 1.0 Ending if you haven't seen it.
