After much thought, I've decided to put all of my "Ruby Dillon" stories here. Chapters 1-6 are from "Matt and Kitty: A Timeless Love Story." Any other story that relates to Matt and Kitty's life with Ruby will be here. (Chapter 1 (Life) has an extended ending from what was written in "Matt and Kitty: A Timeless Love Story.")

If you need a dose of Matt and Kitty (and who doesn't), I'll be posting short stories here. The stories will be independent of one another. Ideas for the stories may come from scenes from the show, a line spoken by one or both of them, or whatever pops in my head. I don't own the Gunsmoke characters. I hope you enjoy reading these Matt and Kitty stories.

After four years away from Dodge, Kitty returns married with children. (Like I've said before, I am very bad at this summary thing).

Matt goes to investigate after a report of something lurking in the darkness outside of Dodge.

A Dodge citizen sees parallels between Matt's reaction to Kitty facing Nip Cullers in Tap Day for Kitty & Henry Cairn in The Dreamers 6 1/2 years later. It just popped into my head as I watched The Dreamers yesterday & thought of a friend's comment that Matt could have done more for Kitty. Not exactly MMs, just a deeper look at a relationship from an observer's POV.

Kitty has a nasty surprise visitor.

I tweaked the beginning of another episode and took it from there. This time it's, 7.3 "Miss Kitty" 8 chapters, posting daily.

Matt and Kitty grapple with challenges that threaten their future in this story of love and commitment, friendship and loyalty. Ninth in the "There's Always Tomorrow" series.

Change of Plans! This will now be a three chapter story of some MM's from "Kitty Shot." I know stories of MM's from "Kitty Shot" have been written, but this is my version of what I think happened. I don't own any of the characters.

Takes place after MLS (I hate that title!). Mike Yardner visits Dodge, but I try to stay within GS canon. I think it could have happened! Just one chapter.

Like so many I found The Long, Long Trail lacked Kitty. I addressed it from Matt's POV in Matt & the Dying Old Woman. This MM from the episode from Sarah's POV brings Kitty into the picture & why Matt didn't fall in love with Sarah despite their harrowing experience together.

I want to thank Matt's Sister for the idea for this story. If it wasn't for her, this story wouldn't have been written. Before Matt met Kitty, there was a woman who wanted him to herself. I'm not sure how many chapters it's going to be. Hop aboard and enjoy the ride.

There hidden secrets that Kitty has kept from Matt for more than 10 years. She has moved from Dodge to St. Louis to keep the secrets safe... But why does it feel like it's her undoing? and everything is unraveling around her? The story is rated T just to be safe.

I've done things in my past that I'm not proud of, but sometimes choices are hard and you just have to trust in the good Lord, that you make the right decision

If you take Kitty and Matt on vacation, add 51 orphans, and Sargent Holly, you will have a Christmas story Gunsmoke style.

Dodge knows Wendell Latham is dead. He hung himself. Yet the townsfolk could swear he appears to them at night.

Unexpected events change Matt and Kitty's lives. I'm not sure how many chapters this will be, but I hope you come along for the ride.

A little "nothing" inspired by Alison Krauss' version of "When You Say Nothing At All."

Matt up on Boot Hill reflects on past events that impacted his relationship with Kitty. In 6 chapters as he remembers he touches on episodes from seasons 1 thru 6 with ATCs to both Don Matteo & Big Man.

My fanfics that focus on Gunsmoke movies and Matt and Beth's relationship, with exception of the first one will be posted here. Some fanfics will be MM/ATC to the movies, while others will be my own made up stories. Matt and Mike were never together as a couple in the movies and they won't be in my fanfics. I just can't put them together.
