Just a short fic, sort of foreplay for Emily and JJ. It's going to be 3-5 chapters. JJ is looking at her with puppy dog eyes, and who can resist her when she does that? Who can resist her at any given time, for that matter? Emily sighs. "Fine, I'll go to the concert with you."

Reid had always liked JJ, but knew she didn't feel the same. Years later when the two were being held hostage, JJ confessed that she had always liked Reid. The confession had hurt Reid and put a strain in their friendship. Almost a year after being held hostage, JJ finds herself in a rocky boat with Will, turning to her best friend for comfort, re-striking the feelings she had.

This fanfiction begins on Season 6, Episode 10 of Criminal Minds. When watching this episode of the show, I realized the appearance of Ashley Seaver was the perfect way to introduce a love interest for Dr. Spencer Reid. I have made the character my own, renamed her Ashley Redford, and made her ginger to give her the cute nickname Red.

Rossi is JJ's father, she's the product of an affair he had with Mrs. Jareau 20 years ago. JJ is a college student, Emily is a teaching assistant. An one-shot, might add a few chapters if people are interested in knowing how the meeting with Emily and JJ's dad (Rossi) went.
