Titans: Elemental
Chapter 3: Home Sweet Tower
After another two weeks, the Tower was finally done.
A huge structure that looked like a T.
You readers can obviously guess what it stands for.
They had also built a bridge from the island to the mainland, making it easier to get there and back.
Each member of the team had their own rooms, and a few extras in case they received more members of the team one day.
The group walked in while wearing their usual clothes. The civilian clothes were for when they went out to do certain things.
They marvelled at the place.
A large living room with a couch big enough for all of them to sit on. A kitchen was nearby with a top of the line stove, microwave, fridge, blender and toaster.
A huge window gave them a view of the city, and also doubled as a TV and crime computer.
BB instantly ran to the couch and said, "woah, these guys spared no expense!"
Dick, "Wayne never does."
Raven, "I'm going to head to my room. Make sure they didn't open any of my boxes of stuff."
Raven walked off.
Starfire said, "I too shall check upon my room. I look forward to decorating it!"
Starfire flew off to her room.
Dick, "I'm gonna sort through my things. After that, I'm gonna check out the training room we had them build."
Dick walked off as well.
BB said, "I already got my stuff unpacked. I'm gonna test out the couch!"
BB jumped onto the couch and transformed into a cat.
Vic then said, "I'm gonna make myself something to eat. You want anything Jack?"
Jack shrugged and said, "not right now. I'm gonna check out my room too. Then I'm gonna see how the others are doing."
Jack walked off and made his way to his room. It was a blue room with a nice and comfy bed. It had a window with some brown drapes. A few boxes sat in the room, with various trinkets and pictures.
Jack picked up one and smiled, albeit a sad one.
In the picture was a younger version of Jack, sitting with his parents and two siblings.
A baby sister and twin brother.
His baby sister Harlow, and twin brother Bryan.
Jack had left a few years ago when his powers emerged after he had found his staff. The staff had unlocked his powers. He couldn't control them at first, and went onto the road to learn how to do so. He kept in touch as much as he could, but hadn't heard from his brother in awhile. He was an outcast in his neighborhood, bullied constantly for his powers. Being called a freak. And he knew his family faced a ton of harassment for his gift as well. Which was the biggest reason for his departure. To learn to control his powers better and keep his family from being mocked for his powers.
Jack put the picture down on his table and made his way towards Raven's room.
Jack knocked and heard Raven's monotone voice.
Raven, "who is it?"
Jack, "it's Jack."
The door opened, and Raven was standing there in her usual outfit, minus her cloak, showing the form fitting leotard she wore, which made Jack blush for a minute.
Raven, "what is it?"
Jack, "I just wanted to see how you were settling in?"
Raven, "I've already unpacked. I just need to sort through all of my books."
Jack, "need any help?"
Raven shrugged and said, "maybe a little help sorting them out. Come in."
Raven moved aside to let Jack inside.
He got a good look at the place. It was dark, but very tidy, everything extremely well kept.
The only mess was the stack of books ready to be put on a shelf.
Jack, "you did a great job."
Raven, "as long as it's better than Beast Boy's room. I saw it earlier. It's as messy as a junkyard."
Jack chuckled at the image.
Jack then looked to the books and began placing them on the shelf.
Raven specified, "sort them based on their subject, not alphabetical order."
Jack, "you got it."
It took a few minutes, but Jack sorted the books to Ravens specifications.
As Jack finished sorting the books, he then saw a picture sitting nearby. It was a painting of a younger looking Raven next to a woman in a white cloak.
Jack turned to Raven and said, "that picture, is that of you and your mother?"
Raven started to look solemn as she said, "yes."
Jack could tell it was a sore subject for Raven to bring up her mother. And he guessed that talking about her father wouldn't be wise.
Jack, "you don't have to talk about it right now Raven. You can talk about it when you're ready, okay?"
Raven nodded with a grateful smile, "thanks Jack."
Jack smiled and said, "you're welcome."
Jack moved in and hugged Raven. She was as stiff as a board at first before melting into the hug, a deep blush and loving smile on her face.
Jack, "now, how about we go find our spots on the couch?"
Raven, "I'd like that."
Raven and Jack walked out and towards the living room.
As they did so, a mirror on Raven's dresser glowed for a second. In the mirror was a purple cloaked Raven that smiled lovingly and said the name, "Jack."
The mirror stopped glowing after a few more seconds, and the image was gone.
….
Later, Dick walked over to the computer near the TV.
Starfire asked, "what are you doing, Nightwing?"
Dick, "I'm checking out the call function. We'll be able to contact certain people.
Vic, "who are ya gonna call?"
BB chuckled out, "GhostBusters?"
Raven thwacked BB over the head as she read a book, making most in the room laugh.
But the laugh was interrupted when Dick said who he was calling.
Dick, "Batman."
Everyone grew silent. Batman wasn't the most talkative or social hero.
BB, "Batman? Are you sure he'll answer?"
Dick, "I should hope so. I've tried to stay in touch after I left Gotham City and became Nightwing."
Dick sent a call out to Batman.
The rest of the team gathered. BB, Raven and Jack sat on the couch. Vic stood nearby, while Starfire floated behind the couch.
A few moments later, the screen flickered, and Batman was staring down at them.
Although, he was wearing a grey robe with the cowl on, as if he were in the middle of something.
Batman, "Nightwing. To what do I owe this call?"
Dick, "I'm testing out our tower's communications, and I figured that calling you was a good way to test it."
Batman nodded and said, "a good idea. Just try a small message in advance. I uh…. Have company."
Dick, "who?"
That's when everyone got a surprise.
They first heard a beautiful voice ask, "honey, who is it?"
And then, who walked on screen behind Batman?
Wonder Woman!
Dressed in a red robe with her tiara on her head.
Diana, "hello there!"
Dick, "uh…. Batman?"
Batman, "hmm?"
Dick, "Wonder Woman is in the Batcave."
Batman, "that was the company I was referring to."
It took Dick a second to process what he was seeing.
His mentor seemed to be in a relationship with the Amazon Princess!
Things hadn't seemed to work out with Catwoman, and things with Talia were always complicated since they involved her father most of the time. Yeah, having a genocidal maniac for a father-in-law was not too appealing.
Diana, "is this your new team?"
Dick nodded, "yes."
Diana, "may we hear their names?"
Dick nodded and gestured to his friends, "go ahead guys."
Vic, "Victor Stone, aka: Cyborg."
Starfire, "Koriand'r of Tamaran, but you may call me; Starfire."
Raven, "Rachael Roth, but I prefer Raven."
BB, "Beast Boy. I'd prefer not to say my real name. It's kinda…. Dorky."
Jack, "Jack Benzo. I chose the name Zivel."
Batman, "that's the Czech word for elements, isn't it?"
Jack nodded.
Batman, "clever."
Diana asked, "what are your powers?"
Jack, "well, like my name implies, I can control the elements. I use this staff to help me harness my powers."
Jack made a small ball of ice in his hands and then melted it until it turned into water and then steam.
BB, "I can transform into any animal. Hence the name, Beast Boy."
BB demonstrated his powers by turning into a puppy.
Starfire, "I can shoot green blasts of energy very similar to what you call fire. As well as fly."
Starfire flew higher into the air and made a ball of green energy, but didn't fire it, instead she let it fade.
Raven, "I can fly as well. I harness the magic the people of my home taught me."
Raven made a wall of the inverted light her magic was made of as she said, "Azerath, Metrion, Zinthos."
Vic, "my status as a cyborg allows me to control a vast array of technology, including a canon in my arm."
Vic showed off the canon his arm could turn into.
Batman nodded and said, "I hope to keep in touch. If anything cataclysmic happens, don't hesitate to call."
Dick, "usually we have to try and call you."
Batman, "certain events in my life have made me a bit less…. Irritable."
Diana smiled and kissed Batman's cheek.
The others were baffled to see this.
The others nodded before Batman said, "goodbye."
Dick nodded and said, "until next time."
Diana waved goodbye as the screen shut down.
Dick, "well, I learned a ton of info in a few minutes."
Jack, "what, that your mentor is dating another member of the League?"
Dick, "yeah, that."
BB, "y'know, I just realized something."
Dick, "what?"
BB, "we don't know your name."
Everyone realized that Beast Boy was right.
Vic, "hey yeah, you didn't say your name to Batman and Wonder Woman."
Dick, "they already know who I am."
Jack, "okay, yeah, but we don't. If we're gonna be a team, shouldn't we know your name?"
Dick, "Beast Boy hasn't said his name."
BB, "yeah, but I've got my reasons. Since you're our leader, shouldn't we know your name?"
Dick, "... sigh, fine."
Dick took his mask off, showing his blue eyes as he said, "my name is Dick Grayson."
Starfire found herself blushing at Dick's looks.
Jack, "thanks for trusting us man."
Dick nodded and said, "no problem. Now, any ideas on what to watch tonight?"
Vic, "a new episode of that one show we like is on."
Dick, "which one?"
BB, "the one about the boy in the hat, and the magic stretchy talking dog? They fight a wizard king who can control ice, and save a bunch of princesses?"
Starfire, "is not one of them made out of the bubbled gum?"
Jack, "yeah, and there's a vampire queen."
Raven, "she's my favorite."
Dick, "alright sure, why not. I like how mature it's gotten since it was picked up by ICP!"
Soon, Dick got the show up on the TV and the crew began watching in a comfortable silence that was interrupted by laughter and singing along to the catchy songs the show had.
Awhile later, the Titans all did their nightly routines and headed off to bed.
Vic slept on a metal slab, connecting himself to a generator to power up over night. His limbs each separated and started being cleaned by various robotic tools, so Vic was kept in good condition.
Starfire slept on a very comfy bed, sleeping in her purple panties and a large purple shirt. She would normally sleep in the nude, but their rooms didn't have locks yet.
Dick slept on his back in bed in a normal white shirt and black shorts.
BB slept in his boxers and snuggled up in his covers as a weiner dog.
Raven slept in some simple black underwear with a dark blue shirt. And she floated over her bed before getting under the covers.
Jack slept normally, wrapped in some blankets while wearing a dark grey shirt and shorts.
Each one of them had dreams.
Of the past, present and future.
….
Dick's dream:
Dick saw himself leaving Gotham, and the identity of Robin behind, standing upon a building in his new suit.
….
Starfire's dream:
She saw herself standing with a man the same age as her. They were both dressed in nice clothing on what looked like an altar.
The man looked very similar to Dick.
….
Beast Boy's dream:
BB saw a strange blonde girl lifting large boulders into the air. Her eyes were glowing as the Earth crumbled around her.
….
Victor's dream:
Vic saw himself finding some sort of silver orb that slowly took the form of a child.
….
Raven's dream:
Raven saw a figure shrouded in white fighting against an enormous monster!
She couldn't make out the figures features, but she could tell they were female.
….
Jack's dream:
Jack saw himself holding a cloaked woman with a pregnant stomach.
….
When all of them woke up in the morning, they were confused by their dreams, and hoped they would make more sense one day….
….
Meanwhile, in a hidden base.
We see a man with one eye peeking out of the shadows as he stared down at a large man made entirely out of concrete.
The man said, "CinderBlock, I have a job for you. In a few months, you will break out the criminal known as Plasmus. We're going to let these Titans get acclimated to their new life before we test them."
CinderBlock nodded and walked off.
The man turned and looked at a picture he had.
It showed a slightly younger man with white hair and a goatee. He had a little girl with white hair sitting next to him, and a baby boy with blonde hair in his arms.
The man sighed and said, "one day, my children, I will find you. And hopefully, you'll live up to my expectations…."
….
Meanwhile, in the city.
We see a girl around the age of our heroes walking through the streets.
She had long white hair, which covered one of her eyes, and had a sword on her back. She wore a hoodie over what looked like armor.
As she walked on, she saw the Tower sitting on its island.
She muttered, "these Titan guys…. Maybe they can help me? Not yet though. Not until I know…. If he's here in Jump City."
And with that, the girl kept walking, hoping to find a place to stay for the night.

I hope you guys caught the references I made in this chapter.
ICP is supposed to be HBO, since those three letters come after the real ones.
Various plans I have for this story:
Blackfire actually joins the Titans, and steals the gemstones to get by, rather than just to steal.
Jinx works as a double agent for the Titans.
A few cameos from JLU characters, like Batman and Wonder Woman did in this chapter.
I'll have an explanation for how Terra came back.
I introduce Rose here, and I hope to have her joining the Titans in order to deal with her father.
We would eventually learn the identity of Red X.
Bryan would eventually join the Titans as a version of the Winter Soldier.
We would follow entirely new adventures as the team gets much older after the final season.
