He has learned to not get close to people because they can hurt or abandon you. These are the stories of how the boy Nate became Constable Nathan Grant and guardian to Allie and then to Hope Valley.

Elizabeth comes to regret the choices she made and faces hard truths. Now she sees in hindsight the damage she caused on those around her and realizes the danger she and her son are in from others choices? Will those she hurt be able to figure out what was going on before it's too late? Will the one heart she broke save her and let her prove the love she carries in her heart?

A something better story. Begins 9 months after the S8 finale. Someone new arrives in Hope Valley, and with her comes new possibilities. It's Springtime, and everything is in bloom. Hope, Faith, and Love abound. Nathan will get a chance at True Love with someone right for him. Allie will get the chance at a real family. Lots of fun and redemption for all our favorite HV Characters.

This is one take on how season 8 SHOULD have gone. Elizabeth's eyes are opened by an incident at the saloon and a chance encounter with Constable Grant. Word of caution- I despise Lucas, so his character developement will be far from flattering.

"I've met charmers like him before. The flower soon withers on the vine." Elizabeth said those words to Abigail shortly after Lucas' arrival in Hope Valley. About a year of marriage and Elizabeth starts to realize the truth of those words. However, when she finally hits rock bottom, the hand held out to her in love is one of the last ones she would expect.

This is my further update and a far more extensive version of the rescue of Little Jack and Nathan's visit to Fort Clay. The leading characters of the series are forced to come to grips with how they feel now that we venture into season 9. As always, it's not going to be easy. I, along with the program's aim, try to arrive at a positive outcome for all of us.

This is a Nathan and Faith AU story. My vision of what it could have looked like if Constable Nathan Grant and Dr. Faith Carter both arrive in Hope Valley the exact same day.

While the attraction is instantaneous, they know now is not the right time for them; they are both about to graduate and head out on their first assignment, not knowing where that could take them. The plan had been to go to Fort Clay, train the recruits and come back home to his new wife. Sometimes though, fate has a different plan in mind. Now, the spirit of Jack must figure out what it is he needs to discover so that he crossed completely from the physical world to the spirit world with a bit of help from an unlikely source.

This is the third story of Nathan after Elizabeth rejects him. The first story, Second Chances for Nathan, with the second story, Let Me Call You Sweetheart, follows Nathan as he falls in love with his childhood friend, Dee who moves to Hope Valley as the new music teacher. Now their story continues after Dee and Nathan are married. Allie's grandmother, Emily lives in Hope Valley.
