After the events of Inheritance cycle and Eragon's departure from Alagaesia, the story shifts to the region of Luzonia where a unlikely young teenager who discovers a egg and forges a connection with a dragon of unique powers that lures the eyes of a expanding empire searching for the one referred as the Divine One. These events would change the course of his life and history.
