My take on the continuation of the inheratence style -I started writting this roughly 4 years ago. Stumbled upon it recently and really like it - if it gets reads ill post more.

The world is breaking. It began with the Return of Eragon, cracked further with the war in Surda, and the Divide between the Dragon Riders and the Empire has grown too great. This'll be the story of a man who lives in the Eragon universe and it'll follow his story and how he affects the actual story. The man is powerful in his own right and revels in war and the darkness of it. Hopefully I can do it some justice

It has been five years since the downfall of Galbatorix. Alagaësia is at peace, and the second generation of Riders is finally emerging. Will this peace last? Or will a new, yet very old foe destroy all that Eragon and his companions have accomplished?
