Jackie has everything she needs in Chicago, along with Eric as a new best friend. But she still feels like something's missing. The ocean may bring new beginnings, but love prevails over all.

In 1977, Hyde receives a visit from a guardian angel and sees a bleak future of screwing things up with Jackie. Being stuck in a loveless marriage. Having a drinking problem. It doesn't look good. Now she has the chance to change things.

It was a no brainer, really. Offering to drive Hyde to his appointment was what any good friend would do. Only she didn't realize how difficult it would be to be around her ex when his zen was nowhere to be found. ...
