A rewrite of Volume 1 of RWBY, giving it a little more structure plot wise. Volume 1 of my rewrite adds more stuff than we got with the original Volume 1. Memories are a fickle thing. They can be there one day and the next they aren't. For machines, fully sentient war machines, they can be backed up or wiped at anytime. Aura can only protect so far and that's a fact that many people of Remnant forget. When aura stops the question is asked, what is the final line of defense. A young Jaune Arc saw that question answered after witnessing a Grimm attack that left a frontier town crippled. Since then it has been his mission to become the final line of defense between life and death.
