Vigilantes could be called wanna-be superheros. This kid was only a wanna-be vigilante. Daredevil decided scaring off the kid from this dangerous act before he got in too deep would work fine. Of course, things don't always go to plan. (I wrote this for fun, not for high quality)

"It means that I'm not the Samaritan. That I'm not the priest or the Levite. That I am the ill intent... who set upon the traveler on a road that he should not have been on." (Wilson Fisk, Daredevil S1 E13) And sometimes, ill intent does not simply befall travelers. Sometimes, it befalls good Samaritans, too.

"He's Daredevil," I announce, pointing at Murdock, who stands there, clutching his cane and fiddling with its strap with his fingers. What a faker. (Crack treated seriously.)

Matt is transported to a parallel universe, where he meets Matt Murdock – and others – and gets a glimpse of how his life might have turned out differently.

Contrary to popular belief, time does not heal all wounds. Twelve years later, and Nora is still stuck on the same man, and it still hurts just as much as it did back then. A collection of the adventures and misadventures of Foggy and Matthew during their college days. They drink, they laugh, they love, and they both have a sturdy shoulder to cry on. Heather Fisk's method for surviving in Hell's Kitchen is simple; keep her head down, and never ask any questions. This is especially true when it comes to her brother, Wilson. It works, until the Devil of Hell's Kitchen arrives on the scene, because he is asking questions; lots of them. And Heather ends up exactly where she doesn't want to be - in the middle of Wilson's mess.

The Great War woke a devil in Matt Murdock. This is why he bare knuckle boxes. This is also why he cannot love Claire Temple. But when she runs afoul of some gangsters, Matt must involve himself or risk losing her entirely. Foggy and Karen arrive in the office one morning to find a note from Matt reading, "Don't look for me." While he's gone, Matt encounters someone who offers him something money can't buy. But will he accept? The story takes place about three months after the end of Daredevil, season three.

When I was writing the story, "Breach of Contract," I imagined Karen writing an op-ed for the Bulletin after Vanessa Fisk revealed that Matt is Daredevil. However, as the story developed, Karen's column didn't seem to fit the direction the story was taking, so I left it out.
