Yang is gone and Ruby is devastated. She seeks comfort and distraction outside her now empty and cold home, at times with less than ideal consequences. Qrow is left to try keep his niece safe and his old teammate afloat even as their lives slowly grow darker under the cover of so many lies. Sequel to Miners Cut.

The fate of Beacon was to be decided during the fateful battle for the school. It was to fall... Until an unknown, outside force, came to the aid of the beleaguered defenders, like a tidal wave, sweeping aside the Grimm and Fang and halting the plans of the darkness below. This new force now faces an uneasy alliance, truces and combat on a world foreign to them, a Battle to be won.

A for Adam, B for Blake and C for the only other person who got close to the Adam Taurus's heart in love and emotions but also the aching scar on his back that being his sister who has a nightmarish semblance.
