Tumblr Whouffle Prompt: I have always wondered what the Doctor would say if he asked her to marry him randomly. Doctor on one knee.

The Doctor starts with a stroll in the 1800s as he watches his mother take off in her own time travel device but is then called away by some very Ancient and dark friends to save the earth in a Lovecraftian way.

What does a list of seemingly random initials carved into a tree have to do with the Doctor? And, more importantly, what does it have to do with Clara?

Another false landing by the TARDIS sees the Doctor, Sarah and Harry stranded and separated on a strange, hostile world – can they find their way back to the TARDIS and each other to make good their escape?

Rose didn't want the metacrisis, and he left as soon as his TARDIS was fully grown. Three years later, he comes back in his new TARDIS, and Rose practically leaps into his arms. The only catch? She believes he's the original Time Lord who she went on all those adventures with, and as she falls head-over-heels in love with him the Doctor must decide whether to continue the charade.

Episode Tag for "The Girl in the Fireplace" - The Doctor seemed heartbroken. His usual spirit hadn't been there for days and neither had Rose's. He was just hanging around in the console room or the library, looking sad, reading that bloody letter over and over again. Rose was avoiding him as much as she could. He'd chosen that woman over her without even thinking about it.

3x02 "Smith and Jones" Plot twist: What if the doctor wouldn't have carried Martha out of the MRI room? What if she'd wake up, after the hospital was returned to earth, right on the spot where she passed out? Rose and the Doctor's wild adventure in the console room takes it farther than either of them have been before. Pure lemon. One shot.

On a planet covered in ash and debris, the Doctor, Amy and Rory discover a plastic woman who can only think to run. But run from what? The answer may not be pleasant, but the Doctor's not leaving until he finds out what it is. Title up for debate.
