Was originally planning on writing this at some undetermined point in the future, but instead, I'm writing it now as a tribute to the late Monty Oum. Took the names of the main cast, put them in a box, and pulled out the partner/team assortments that I will now attempt to make into a valid story. Enjoy.

**Extremely Old Story** A couple pieces of speculation of mine on Faunus and Grimm that I decided to put in the context of a one-shot story, so as to maybe give some ideas for a someone to work with. For the most part, this is a modified version of the existing RWBY story. However, it doesn't follow it directly. It does branch off.
