Red Ground Bridge Portal
A bright and sunny day came over the Autobot Headquarters in Jasper, Nevada. Inside the old missile silo, standing by a large computer was a large red and blue Autobot who was the leader of the Autobots. Optimus Prime, who could transform into a Peterbilt 379 semi-truck, stood by a red and white Autobot by the name of Ratchet, who could transform into a Ford E-350 ambulance. The two were currently going over some files since it seemed to be a slow day. Over by the living room area, a blue femme-bot by the name of Arcee, who could transform into a Kawasaki Ninja Motorcycle, a yellow Autobot by the name of Bumblebee, who transform into a Urbana 500 muscle car, and a large green Autobot named Bulkhead, who could transform into a Lamborghini LM002 SUV, were watching over three young Earthlings. One was a tall sixteen year old named Jack Darby, a younger fourteen year old named Miko Nakadai and a young twelve year old named Rafael Esquivel. The six were currently watching something on the little T.V.. provided. Their attention was stolen when they heard someone running down the hall. A red, white and blue Bot by the name of Smokescreen, who could transform into Lotus Exige sports car. The new Bot seemed excited when he asked, "What did I miss?"
"Nothing much." Jack reassured him. Looking back to the T.V. he said, "The show's just starting."
"And it's going to be awesome!" Miko shouted and pumped a fist into the air. Arcee looked to the humans and asked, "So, what exactly is this called again?"
"Uh, if I remember correctly, it's supposed to be some kind of movie about a world of video games or something." Jack said with a shrug.
Over with Optimus and Ratchet, the latter was talking to the former, "Any luck of decoding the last few of the entries?"
"It is a slow process." Optimus said as he continued. Ratchet tried to assure his friend and said, "I'm sure that you will have these decoded long before Megatron can finish his."
"We can only hope, Old Friend." Optimus said as he continued the process.

Elsewhere…
In a large alien warship as it was flying across the sky, a large silver robot was walking through the halls with two other large robots. The robot in the middle called Megatron, the leader of the Decepticons, who could transform into a silver and purple Cybertronian jet, glanced back to the blue Bot who was known and Dreadwing and could transform into an F-35 Lightning 2 fighter jet and questioned, "And what is the progress of decoding the Iacon Database, Dreadwing?"
"Soundwave is making progress, Master." Dreadwing reported. But he seemed a little troubled when he said, "But it would appear that it's going rather slow."
"Oh, that's too bad." The red and white Con on the other side of Megatron. This is Knock Out, the Decepticon medic that could transform into a red Aston Martin DBS V12 sports car. Megatron shot his medic a glare and it shut Knock Out up.
The three entered another room of the warship and found another Con working at a computer. The blue Decepticon was Soundwave, who could transform into an MQ-9 Reaper drone aircraft. Soundwave didn't even turn to acknowledge his master and colleagues as he nodded to their presence while continuing to work. Megatron questioned, "Any look in the decryption, Soundwave?"
All Soundwave did was nod just as another set of coordinates was put up on the computer. Megatron then ordered, "Even if we do not have the rest of the Iacon Database coordinates, I will not allow Optimus and the Autobots to gain any kind of advantages, whatever be located there."
"What do you want us to do?" Dreadwing asks his leader. Megatron looked to them and ordered, "Have the ship rendezvous with the coordinates and have a team ready to begin the excavation."
"Yes, Lord Megatron." Both Dreadwing and Knock Out said and bowed to their leader.

Site of the Harbinger…
Deep inside of the Harbinger that had all the supplies, a silver seeker robot was fiddling around with something. The seeker was known as Starscream, a former Decepticon that once could transform into F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter jet. The seeker growled as he was working with something and growled in frustration, "Rrrh! This drone to do my T-Cog transplant surgery is starting to become tiresome."
He gave a yell and threw the parts he had. They crashed into the walls of the ship with a clang before falling to the ground. Starscream sighed and sighed, "Oh, if I only had Knock Out to do this for me."
Suddenly, he heard a beeping coming from another part of the ship. Getting up from his seat he quickly made his way to where the noise was coming from. Entering another section of the ship he found himself before a terminal of his own. Seeing what was happening he said, "It would seem that Megatron is on the move." He began to think and asked himself, "What could the prize be this time I wonder."
Knowing that he could put his surgery on hold for the moment, Starscream was quick to gather a few items necessary to help him on his venture. His ground-bridge remote, an emergency aid kit, and the Apex Armor to help against any foe that he should come across.
When he had everything he needed, Starscream activated his ground-bridge with the remote when he planted the same coordinates as the Nemesis. The portal opened up and Starscream walked right through it.

Autobot Base, Jasper, Nevada…
Back in at the Autobot base, the movie was still going on. While most of the group was starting to enjoy it. Suddenly, the proximity alert went off and it everyone was brought to attention. Ratchet moved to a monitor and reported, "Just Agent Fowler and Ms. Darby."
"Allow Ms. Darby to enter, Ratchet." Optimus requested. Though he hardly minded anymore about the humans dropping by, Ratchet still sighed and pressed the necessary commands to open the door for June. When June's car pulled in, she stopped and stepped out. She smiled to each of them and said, "Hey, there."
"Mom? What a surprise." Jack said while walking down the steps. June walked up to the children and said, "I finished my shift at the hospital early. So I decided to swing by."
It was then they heard someone coming down the elevator and looked towards the bottom. When the doors opened, Fowler stepped out and said, "Well, it looks like the gang's all here."
"And not a moment too soon." Optimus said when the computer displayed something. Fowler, June, Jack, Raf and Miko all looked to the computer while the Bots all gathered behind Optimus. Arcee asked, "Another relic?"
"So it would appear." Ratchet said. Suddenly, Fowler's phone went off and he answered it, "Special Agent William Fowler here."
Everyone looked to him as he talked with the people on the other end, "Huh. Okay. Thank you."
Hanging up, Fowler looked to Team Prime and said, "Got some bad news."
"Decepticons?" Bulkhead asked. Fowler nodded and said, "Some of our boys spotted their warship not too far from a base up near the border between the States and Canada."
"That's where the knew set of coordinates are located." Smokescreen observed when looking at the computer. Bumblebee then said something in his unique way, "(Whatever it is, Megatron's not keeping a low profile from any human eyes.)"
"Bumblebee is correct." Optimus agreed. Then looking to his team he said, "If Megatron has cast aside any ideals of stealth, then he is foregoing any means to conceal himself from the populace."
"The coordinates are also near a civilian town." June observed right where they were located. Optimus looked to Agent Fowler and said, "Agent Fowler, have the town evacuated in case the fighting should draw close."
"Will do, Prime." Agent Fowler nodded before getting back on the phone. Optimus then looked to his team, "Autobots, we must be sure to secure the relic while also not inflicting human casualties.
"And I will require all hands on deck." Optimus added. This surprised the entire team and Arcee asked, "Are you sure?"
"I feel that it would not hurt to have all Autobots available for this mission." Optimus explained. Looking between each of them he said, "I believe that if we are careful and watch each other's backs, then we should prevail against the Decepticons."
"If you feel that way, Optimus. Then we're with you." Bulkhead said with the others nodding. Ratchet looked to Raf and said, "I leave the ground-bridge controls to you, Rafael."
"No, problem." Raf smirked and gave a thumbs up. Ratchet then input the designated coordinates into the computer and activated the ground-bridge. The portal suddenly opened up and all six Autobots walked towards the opening. Optimus looked to the humans and said, "Farewell, my friends."
"Good luck, you guys." Jack waved to them. Each of the Bots gave their human friends one last look before transforming and driving through the ground-bridge.
Miko, wanting to view a freshly unearthed Iacon relic, slowly started to slip away from the group.
"Think they can pull it off?" June asked, a little worried about the team. While Fowler was still on the phone, Jack looked to his mother and said, "They'll be fine. We just have to have faith in them."
"You're right, Jack." June nodded in agreement. It was then that Jack noticed that someone was missing from the group. Looking down to the floor where the steps ended, he saw Miko making a break for the ground-bridge. Jack shouted, "Miko!"
"What?" The others shouted and looked to the girl as she disappeared int other tunnel after the Autobots. Without thinking, Jack started sliding down the ladder and reached the bottom before running after her. June cried out, "Jack! Miko!"
Even Raf didn't really think about it either as he too came down the ladder. Fowler tried to stop him, "Raf!"
"Kids, get back here!" June called out after them as they disappeared into the glowing portal.

The ground-bridge portal opened had opened up in the middle of the forest. While Team Prime quickly drove off where they could see the Decepticon warship, the children reappeared a second behind them. Jack was able to catch up to Miko and grabbed her arm. Always getting ticked off because of her antics, Jack questioned, "I don't know why I always got to ask you but, what were you thinking, Miko?"
"I want to see what the next relic looks like when they get it out of the ground." Miko defended herself. Then she pointed out, "You got to see one with Smokescreen."
"That was kind of a different situation." Jack argued. Miko had a cheeky smirk when she said, "But you did pull a 'me', right?"
"Mm." Jack glared when suddenly his phone went off. Answering it he said, "Yeah, Mom, I got her. Could you try and bridge us back to base.
"Raf can guide you through it." Jack said and was about to hand the phone to the boy behind him when he saw that Raf was in his grip instead of Miko. Jack looked about and asked, "How did she?"
"I have no idea to be honest." Raf shook his head as he too was stumped. But then he pointed, "But she went after the Bots."
They looked to see her running after the Autobots. With a sigh, Jack raised the phone and said, "Mom, I'm gonna call you back. Hopefully, you'll have the ground-bridge figured out."
Hanging up the phone, Jack looked to Raf and said, "Let's go and get her."
"Uh, okay." A nervous Raf said but still followed after the teen.

Autobot Base…
Both June and Fowler were looking about the human sized controls for the ground-bridge. June asked the secret agent, "Are you sure that you know how to work these?"
"I've seen it done a few times. Raf's even helped me understand it too." Fowler nodded. June was still a little worried and Fowler noticed it. He placed a comforting hand on her shoulder and said, "Relax. They may be in a crazy situation, but I know those kids will at least stay clear of the danger. Watch from the sidelines at least. Far enough from the battle."
"I just hope so." June agreed and looked at the inactive ground-bridge. She just hoped that they would all come back safely.

Iacon Coordinates…
Team Prime had transformed from vehicle mode to robot mode to keep the element of surprise against their foes. They rounded a corner of stone to view what they were dealing with. The Nemesis was hovering above a freshly dug excavation site with Decepticons crawling all over the place. Optimus looked to his team and said, "Arcee, Bumblebee and Smokescreen, survey the area. And use extreme caution."
"Yes, sir." All three bots nodded before heading out. When they were gone, Optimus looked to the others and said, "Wait for my signal. We attack and retrieve the relic."
"You got it, boss." Bulkhead complied and waited with Optimus and Ratchet.
…
While Smokescreen went with Arcee, Bumblebee went on his own. He went around the left side of the excavation site and had a bit of a climb ahead of him. When Bumblebee had a high enough vantage point, he carefully surveyed the area while remaining out of sight.
…
Over with Arcee and Smokescreen, they used the trees to conceal themselves. It didn't take about five minutes of surveying the area when Arcee spotted something. She activated her comm and was thankful about the closed channel for Autobots only when she said, "Optimus. I have a fix on the relic container."
"Can you see the contents?" Optimus asked her over the radio. Arcee tried to get a good look, but could only see the container itself. With a shake of her head Arcee reported, "Negative."
"But take a look at Megatron." Smokescreen pointed at the camp. When Arcee looked to where her comrade was pointing, her eyes widened when she saw a small device in the warlord's hand. She was quick to say, "Optimus, I have eyes on the relic."
"What is it, Arcee?" Optimus asked her. Arcee couldn't really tell what it was but said, "Can't say that I know what it is. But it's big enough to fit in anyone's servos, square in shape and had a circular attachment in the middle."
"Then we must recover it as swiftly as we can." Optimus said. Then he gave the order, "Autobots, roll out!"
With the orders given, both Arcee an Smokescreen both moved to infiltrate.
…
From his vantage point, Bumblebee stood up to his full height before leaping down and right for an unsuspecting Vehicon. Bumblebee crashed down on the Con before landing a huge punch against the face of another Vehicon. As the enemy soldier fell, he looked to see both Arcee and Smokescreen moving to engage the enemy as well. The sound of revving engines told him that Optimus, Bulkhead and Ratchet were also arriving on the scene.
…
Miko, Jack and Raf all arrived at the sight of the battlefield at the same time. They looked down the hill to see all the Autobots going against impossible odds against the Decepticons. Suddenly remembering why they had come here, Jack quickly whipped out his phone and speed dialed his Mom back at the base. When it picked up, Jack said, "Mom, I hope you got it figured out, we got Miko."
"You ain't got nothing." Miko said and moved a little closer to view the battle. Jack looked to her and said, "Miko, we came and we saw."
"Well, I want to see them win!" Miko argued, really wanting to continue watching the fight.
…
Down on the battlefield, Optimus and the other Autobots had reconvened with each other and were rushing towards the center of the excavation site. Optimus, Bulkhead, Arcee, Bumblebee and Smokescreen all transformed one of their arms into a blaster while Ratchet whipped out his surgical blades that were also very effective in combat. The group continued firing shot after shot while dodging the blasts from the Cons.
In the middle of the site, Megatron could hear the sounds of battle and said, "Optimus.
"Knock Out, take this and quickly figure out a way for me to use this." Megatron ordered his medic/scientist and tossed the relic to him. Knock Out nodded and complied with his orders. Megatron activated his comm-link and ordered, "Dreadwing, have yourself and a few of our troops ready in case we are in need of reinforcements."
"Understood, Lord Megatron." Dreadwing said to his master. Megatron then turned to where the battle was and extended his blade from his right arm. Then like the gladiator he started out as he rushed forward with a yell.
…
Autobot Base…
"You got a fix on their exact coordinates?" June asked as Fowler was getting to work on the ground-bridge. Fowler nodded and said, "I've almost got it."
But just as he was almost finished with it, Fowler accidentally typed in a few keys. The console started beeping and it made the two jump. June looked to Fowler and asked, "What happened?"
"I don't know." Fowler said before going over what he did. Then he said, "Uh-oh."
"What does uh-oh mean?"
"I might have typed in something that I wasn't supposed to." Fowler sheepishly said before the ground-bridge suddenly activated.
But to their surprise, it wasn't it's normal white like color, this time it was a red. Fowler nervously looked to June and asked, "That's not good, is it?"
"I don't think so." June said as they were worried about what was happening. Then she said, "Try shutting it down."
"I'm on it." Fowler nodded before trying to shut it down.
…
Iacon Coordinates…
The battle still raged as Optimus had switched one of his blasters for his blade and blocked a sword strike from Megatron. The two were in a stalemate as the warlord of the Decepticons said with a smirk, "How fitting it is to have all of your Autobot lackeys here to witness not only your defeat, Optimus, but the conquering of this planet."
"That will not happen as long as I still function, Megatron." Optimus countered with a glare before the two pushed away from each other. Megatron was able to see his troops and noticed that his Vehicon's were quickly falling to the Autobots. Quickly activating his comm-link, he ordered, "Dreadwing, open a ground-bridge and send reinforcements!"
"At once, my lord." Dreadwing complied with the order.
But when the Decepticon ground-bridge opened up, everyone was shocked to see a red ground-bridge open up as well. What was really odd was when a third ground-bridge opened up on the other side of the red ground-bridge.
Starscream came stumbling out of the ground-bridge and looked about before becoming nervous from seeing all the Decepticons and Autobots there. But they were not currently focused one the three ground-bridges.
"This can't be good." Ratchet said as he remembered the last time such an event happened.
From where they were standing, Jack, Raf and Miko were all nervous about this happening again. And it seemed to be much worse. Megatron, knowing this from what he learned from Soundwave, knew that this wouldn't be good and ordered, "Dreadwing, shut our ground-bridge down!"
"At once, Lord Megatron." Dreadwing said, knowing full well was happening.
But before anything could happen, the two ground-bridges were suddenly absorbed into the red one. From his spot, Bulkhead said, "Here we go again."
"At least the kids are safe." Arcee said, not wanting to go through that again. But Smokescreen was quick to point and say, "Uh, you might want to take a look."
When the three guardians to Jack, Miko and Raf looked to where the new recruit was pointing, their optics widened. The children were standing not too far from the growing red ground-bridge portal.
"Guys?!" All three children asked before the red ground-bridge portal went off with a loud bang. The explosion engulfed everything in a large radius; the kids, the Autobots, the Decepticons and the warship and Starscream.

Autobot Base…
June and Agent Fowler were both in shock when the red ground-bridge suddenly shut off. Agent Fowler tapped a button or two and got the comm-links working. He called out, "Prime! Are you there?!"
But all he got was a bunch of static. He tried raising the others while June tried Jack's cell phone. When they couldn't get a hold of anyone, June looked to Fowler and asked, "What do you think happened to them?"
"Wait, judging from what happened…" Fowler said as he remembered what Ratchet and Raf told him, "The Bots once told me of something like this, though not with a red ground-bridge portal."
"What does that mean?" June asked, hardly in the mood as she wanted to know what happened to Jack, Miko and Raf more. Fowler then said, "They aren't dead, thankfully. They're just… in another dimension."
"Another dimension?" June questioned with an angry look, not feeling that this was not the time for jokes. But Fowler wasn't kidding when he said, "It was a little before you joined. I'll explain later."
"You better." June said, becoming worried and angry at the same time. Fowler turned back to the computer and set to work. June could only look back to the deactivated ground-bridge and hoped that the kids and the Autobots were okay.
