"Prime! This place isn't an amusement park! Every time I pay you a visit, you've got another straggler kickin' around! How am I supposed to explain this one?"

"Agent Fowler, while I can understand your duress with this situation, I assure you, we are by no means actively seeking to involve any other humans. It was by sheer coincidence alone that our newest charge happened upon us."

Jack was a little surprised as he listened to Optimus' level response, thinking that sounded an awful lot like a lie. Did primes lie? Could primes lie? He supposed it wasn't really a lie… more of an omission of information that wasn't really necessary to the conversation. He could only imagine Fowler's reaction if Optimus had ratted Miko out for being careless. Crisis partially averted. Well played.

"So who's this guy?" Tess inquired as she watched the suited man rip the giant mechanic lifeform a new asshole.

"Agent Fowler works for the government," Raf explained. "Human-alien relations."

"Their 'relations' seem pretty rocky," she observed.

"That's just how Fowler is. He comes in, he yells, he leaves," Miko put in with a shrug.

It was at that moment the agent turned to them and addressed their newest member.

"Young lady, are you fully aware of the scope of this situation?"

She took a sweeping look around the huge bunker filled with alien technology and actual friggen aliens and then looked back at him, right brow lifting as she pinned him with a snark expression. "Yeah, I've got a pretty good idea."

"And you understand the importance of keeping this completely confidential?" he pressed, frowning.

"Loosen your tie, dude, before you burst a blood vessel. I don't exactly feel like getting locked away for the foreseeable future, so I don't think I'll have any issues keeping the 'alien-robots-that-turn-into-cars secret' to myself. Straightjacket white just isn't my colour."

He growled. "Great, another mouth piece."

She snorted. "Great, another Ratchet."

Both Fowler and Ratchet blustered at the comparison.

"I am not like Ratchet!"

"I am not like Agent Fowler!"

Their tones suggested heavy offense, and after speaking in tandem they both turned to one another and leveled each other with a cold glower. The two launched into insult trading and trying to 'one-up' each other. The teenagers continued to watch the comedic, somewhat awkward scene, glad that Fowler's anger had been redirected.

"Robot Grandpa vs Government Grandpa. Smack-down of the century," Miko giggled. "Maybe we should get Fowler a chair to even the odds a little."

All of them snickered at that, including Bulkhead and Smokescreen, who'd been lingering just off to the side. Both Ratchet and Fowler heard and turned to bark in unison. "What are you laughing at?!" Both of them looked back at one another in horror.

They couldn't have held in their riotous laughter had they tried.
