chapter 4
Hannah was coming in with Cliffjumper. "Ugh what a day," Hannah said as they got in.
"Hannah I enjoy being your guardian and I have plenty of fun with you," Cliffjumper said.
Then the light turned on. "Oh hi dad," Hannah said.
"Hannah why are you late?" her dad asked.
"It's kind of a long story," Hannah said.
"Long story?" he asked. "I am sure the two of you can explain it, come on now you don't fool me I know who you are I work at the military base were Lorin works so I know what you are," he said to Cliffjumper.
Cliffjumper transformed. "Well it would've been nice if you told me from the start," Cliffjumper said.
"Wait a minute all this time you knew?" Hannah asked.
"Hannah I have done many things in my day but I know something like this when I see it so don't worry I know you will be safe in with him and the Autobots and Decepticons no matter what happens," her father said.
Hannah's father knew the secret so it wasn't that big a deal. Hannah's father was a regular visitor at the base after that. "Hannah gets along well with all of you," he said.
"Yes I suppose she does," Optimus said. "Hannah is a fine young lady," he said.
"Well I got to run and do something so I will be out for a while so don't worry," her father said.
"Okay dad," Hannah said.
Then her father went out. Hannah was busy playing a video game when she saw something. "Um Ratchet, Knockout something seems to be approaching my dad's car. Are they Autobots, Decepticons or something else?" Hannah asked.
Ratchet took a look. "Oh no," Ratchet said. "Optimus we have a problem droids are approaching Hannah's father's vehicle." he said.
"We need to help him," Optimus said.
"Let's go," Megatron said.
Hannah's father was trying to avoid the droids when his car got into a bad wreck. Optimus, Megatron, Arcee and Rockslide were fighting them hard and sent the droids packing. Cliffjumper came up and Hannah came out. Hannah saw her father's car in a wreck. "Daddy!" Hannah said. "We need to get him out," she said.
They got her father out of the car. Lorin was there too she saw the wreck.
"No matter what happens Hannah just know I will always be proud of you," her father said and died.
Hannah started crying. Her father no good so called best friend of a cousin had her father sign everything to him except the stuff Hannah bought herself like her dog Marcy and her supplies, her clothes, video game system, video games and toys and she said she bought Cliffjumper to keep up his disguise. Her own cousin kicked her out of the house and tossed her and her things to the curb.
Cliffjumper was there as Hannah packed her things into him. She got in and drove to the base and came out. "Thanks for letting me live with all of you," Hannah said getting out.
"No problem Hannah, our home is your home," Optimus said.
"So make yourself comfortable and at home," Megatron said.
"If there is anything you need let us know," Ratchet said. "We will help you in anyway we can," he said.
"Thanks guys," Hannah said.
Then Hannah put her stuff in her new room. Hannah was sitting on the couch petting Marcy. She looked very upset. "Maybe one of us should talk to her," Knockout said.
"We might make it worse," Demolisher said.
"I think if we let her talk about what she needs to talk about and listen maybe she will cheer up," Ratchet said. "Most importantly we need to give her time," he said.
Cliffjumper came over to Hannah. "Hey Hannah," he said.
"Oh hey Cliff," she said.
"I just want to know how you are holding up?" Cliffjumper asked.
"How I am holding up?" Hannah asked. "First my mom dies when I was 5, now my dad just dies because of the Conquerdriods, my dad's no good so called cousin has him sign everything over too him and he was suppose to be all the family I had left and he kicks me to the street with not much but my own personal belongings and you are wondering how I am holding up?" she said. Then she started crying.
"It's going to be okay Hannah, whenever you need me need any of us, we are here for you. I just remember we will listen to you too," Cliffjumper said. "You are safe here and will make sure you will be well looked after and we will make you feel at home, because we all care about you," he said.
Hannah held on to Cliffjumper and kept crying. "The last time I remember crying this hard is when I was five and my mother died and now my father is gone, I feel like I have been jinxed or something," Hannah said.
"Hannah trust me both of your parents dying has nothing to do with you," Cliffjumper said. "You didn't cause either of your parent's deaths. I know how it feels as you know to lose someone close to you, I lost two very close childhood friends to war, I know it hurts, and the hurt will get better with time," he said. He was carefully hugging her.
"It will be alright," Arcee said coming up. "All of us are here for you," she said. "We know we can't replace the family you lost, but we will do our best to be your new family," she said.
"Hannah all of us are going to be here for you," Demolisher assured her.
"Yes we care about you very much," Rockslide said.
"You can count on us," Breakdown said.
"We will be here for you," Knockout said.
"You are going to be safe here," Hot shot said.
"You will be loved here," Jazz said.
"We know it will take time but soon things will improve," Override said.
"Hannah soon the hurt will heal just give your heart the time it needs," Ratchet said.
"Just remember there is a place for you here in the base," Megatron said.
"It will be your haven as it is ours, you will, be safe, and have a place here in our base, because this your home now, and we will make sure you will feel safe and loved here," Optimus said.
Hannah managed to dry her eyes and take a couple of deep breathes. "Thank you all of you," Hannah said looking at them.
Now living at the base there will be many trials Hannah will face. But she knows with the Autobots and Decepticons nothing she can't work through.
