"HEY, GIVE BACK MY CONTROLLER! ELLIS, JACKSON WON'T GIVE BACK MY CONTROLLER," A scream of anger and stomping was heard throughout the house, causing the young adult to groan in annoyance as she finished stirring a warm pot of food. She placed her ladle down, grabbing her belt she kept at her side before calmly walking to where the yelling and stomping were.
She had a hand on her hip as she saw -what she happened to have cleaned while her brothers were at school- was as seemed as a tornado just ran by, toys everywhere, Bedsheets tossed tp the floor, legos spilled. She narrowed her eyes at the mess, then glanced at the fighting brothers that hasn't noticed her presence yet. But that soon didn't last as the snap of her belt was heard, freezing in place as the 7 and 9-year-old brothers slowly met her intimidating gaze.
"...I don't care who started it, the next time I come back in here for fighting and this room isn't straightened back to the way I had it, there will be punishment. Do you understand," Ellis said with a slightly annoyed but dark tone in her vocals.
The boys looked at the ground before answering a yes. Content with the answer, She went back to the kitchen.
Time went by pretty quickly as she finished up cleaning off the counters, fixing up the table after the boys finished with their food, and now putting the young but growing boys to bed. She retreated to her own room as soon as she was content the boys were asleep, letting out a sigh of exhaustion, but reached for her laptop for any news.
"Hm...no sign of anyone found...I talked to the local police about it, but they still haven't given me any good news...Just where did you go, Allison, Tony?" She murmured to herself as she was thinking of the last time she ever saw them, which has almost been 8 years now. Yes, 7-full-years without a word from either one of them. Ellis felt they failed at taking care of her brothers and herself. She was hopeful and knew her brothers' parents didn't die, but was very worried if she will ever see them again…For the sake of her Brothers…
She glanced over at her nightstand, a small smile forming on her face as she saw her figures sitting there. The Autobots mixed in with a few Decepticons.
She carefully grabbed a tissue, seeing a few dark spots on both the Autobot and Decepticon leaders. Grabbing both of them, She carefully wiped off the smudges, thinking her brothers might have gotten ahold of her figures. She placed the tissue in her small trashcan, but continued to stare at the figures for a long while.
She let out a sigh before starting to speak to herself, "...I may not be on either side, or think you could ever be real...but you have been a great impact on my life...I just hope I can be strong enough to help my brothers...without their so much of parents around..." She silently gazed onto the lifeless action figure toys, fixing up their posture before placing the deception leader back with his group. She then proceeded to head onto the porch, taking in the soft warm breeze, the clear stary sky, and not a cloud in sight. She then could see a bright light shoot across the sky.
She let a sigh escape her lips before speaking, "...It never works, but it could help keep my mind off things.." She closed her eyes and thought of her wish, 'I wish...I wish for this once for both the Decepticons and the Autobots to be real...and to be able to find their parents...' She opened her eyes as she stared up at the sky for a lot longer than usual, before looking down at the Auto bot leader.
"...Well, let's go back inside Optimus...We both need to be ready for tomorrow...or just me.." She chuckled to herself and went inside, turning off the lights, locking the doors, and closing the blinds. She quickly changed into her night attire before placing Optimus back onto the nightstand. She let out a yawn, slowly letting sleep consume her before she fell into a dreamless sleep.
It was about a few hours past midnight, when a dim light soon shown through her window, shining down onto the action figures. A soft glow seemed to consume the figures, causing Ellis to stir from her sleep. She was confused with the lights, before a yelp of surprise at the brightly glowing light came from her nightstand. She pulled a blanket further up to her neck before the light became too much for her that she had to cover her eyes. After the light soon dimmed before disappearing completely, Ellis slowly looked over to her nightstand, wondering what just seemed to occur.
She turns on her lamp, only to see her figures in the same spot she left them. She stares, dumbfounded for a long while before letting out a sigh, rubbing her temple before laying back down, closing her eyes to hopefully go back to sleep. But sleep wouldn't come as she let out a sigh. She picked up her computer, deciding some music should pass the time. She hummed along with a few songs, grabbing a book to pass the time. She then felt something in the back of her mind that she wished that didn't want to happen.
She frowned at the thoughts that slowly consumed her mind. She then pulled out her gun, contemplating the dangerous thing she is about to do. Tears seemed to flood her eyes as she held her tongue from speaking.
She felt her throat clamp up, slowly but shakily raising her gun, but couldn't seem to do it. Her gun dropping to the ground with a loud thud, she crumpled to the ground in a heap. Quiet sobs wracked from her lips as tears continued to flow down her face. it must have been a long while since she let her emotions out, but when she finally calmed down, she could see a bit of daylight from her window.
She slowly got up from the floor and went to the restroom. She did all the things needed, putting on deodorant, brush her teeth, comb her hair, the necessities. What she didn't realize when she was doing all that, her toys seemed to not be in their right spot. After she freshened up, looking better than before, she was about to go back to her room but stopped in a heartbeat before she could now hear voices on the other side.
"Lemme at them! Oh, I can-"
"-No bulkhead! We first need to figure out what-"
"Oh quit being so cautious prime, I'm ready to end you! Here and now!"
She quickly burst out into her room, only to be surprised by a familiar yet bizarre sight. The Autobots and Decepticons glance over at the human, confused and bewildered the same as her. They all stay silent for a long while, no one dare say anything, but the Decepticon leader pulled out his cannon, pointing at Ellis with a snarl on his features. She held an annoyed look on her face, rubbing her temple from the slight headache she had all of a sudden.
"...I must be dreaming...No way a 'cartoon' can be real..."
She glanced at each of them before walking over to the Autobot leader, tilting her head as Prime decided to speak up.
"Sorry human, but...what do you mean we are…a cartoon?"
She circled around him, an uneasy feeling rested on the leader's shoulders when she did that as she tapped his shoulder. Her eyes widen at the sudden force of metal. She pinched herself, In hoping it was a bizarre dream, but wincing in slight pain and soon realizing this wasn't a dream.
She let out a groan before collapsing on her bed, rubbing her right eye before speaking in a quiet tone, "...Do I really have to now take care of every one of you and my brothers? Now this is gonna be a lot harder than it already was..."
She felt a hand on her shoulder, Picking her head up to meet Arcee's gaze as the femme spoke. "Listen human, we are as weirded out as you are, but that doesn't mean we can't take care of ourselves. Now, I'm ready to kick some Con' scum!"
I raised my hand up to stop her, glaring at each and every one of the bots, that seemed to make them quiet.
"There will be no fighting or World war lll In my house you lunatics! Megatron, Prime, Get your sides to act together! Your guys are lucky we live out in the middle of nowhere, otherwise, people would have already seen you," Ellis said a bit loudly. Both sides didn't argue, deciding it was best to listen to the stranger, but Megatron just scoffed.
Ellis glared over at the Decepticon leader, placing a hand on her hip before she asked, "You may be my favorite transformer along with prime," Everyone was slightly taken aback, but she continued on "-But that gives no excuse for you to scoff at me, you camel! Now all of you get out but Optimus, I have to speak to him about what to do with you all."
Megatron glared at the human, but before he could do anything, he was pushed out of the room by Starscream. The rest of them slowly made their way out from the bedroom, all except Optimus, whose bright blue optics looked at Ellis with curiosity.
He soon let out a sigh, then spoke with a low rumble, "I apologize for my team's actions, along with the Decepticons...But we were just at the omega lock with the keys...how did it transport us here?...and how are we...human size?" She stayed silent, wondering if she should say the truth...
"...Sorry Optimus, but those things don't exist, nor does your...home planet... you're all just a made-up tv show or movie…" His optics widened for a split second before he offline his optics for a brief moment to process the information. She felt slightly guilty about the sucker punch of reality that was put onto the Autobot leader's shoulders. She wanted to give comfort, but she just waited until he looked at her, giving him a small smile.
He returned a smile back as a way of saying 'It isn't your fault'. His eyes narrowed when he caught sight of the gun on the floor. Ellis looked to where he was looking, tensed up slightly before coming up with a lie for the time being.
"Oh um...before you guys came to life, I-I thought someone came in and was attempting to hurt my brothers in their sleep...sorry," She spoke with slight nervousness, but in hopes he wouldn't question anything about it.
He was reluctant to ask since he could tell she was lying, but decided to let it go for the time being, much to the others relief. He decided to focus on another topic.
"...You seem to have been...crying...I don't mean to pry but...what is the reason?.." She let out a sigh, staying silent as Optimus stood up, awaiting her answer.
"...I...I um...I was just upset...I just have so much on my shoulders, taking care of my brothers, taking care of the house...trying to find their parents and... To keep my young brothers from realizing the harsh truth that...they may never come home," She spoke, getting teary-eyed in the process. Optimus placed a hand on her shoulder, hoping to be of help as he spoke in a comforting, low rumble.
"...Try not to give up on hope just yet, miss...When the time comes, they will be ready to face the truth...we will help you find your parents, even though we have just met under...strange circumstances, now I believe we should head out. I don't think the Decepticons and my companions will last much longer with peace." Ellis and Optimus chuckled for a bit before she nodded. She wiped her eyes before walking out of the bedroom with the Prime.
She could see both sides arguing back and forth with their guns loaded. Megatron glared over in our direction, Ellis just deciding to ignore him for the time being.
Ellis and Optimus got between the fighting groups, pushing them back until they completely stopped arguing, just glaring at each other. Ellis, with the help of Optimus, pushed them into sitting down at the table -exception of Megatron since he doesn't listen-, grabbing the belt she uses on her brothers when they get out of line since they were her size. She could still hear both sides arguing, so she snapped her belt to get their attention back on her. All went silent at the table.
"Ok, if you don't want me to expose you to humans," Glancing over to both sides of the table, both sides staying silent, but she continued. "-Then we need to set some ground rules...it includes everyone since you happen to be in a world where...no Cybertron, Omega lock or Keys exist. So if you don't want to be having scientists or the government getting ahold of you, I suggest you listen and put your differences aside. Your not Giants anymore, therefore you are at great risk of being experimented on." Everyone stayed silent, an uneasy feeling went across the room.
"For the main important rules, I don't expect everyone to get along, but It would be wise not to start a war in this household...If I find out that you break something that could hurt me or my brothers, you will be taken and your arms will be cut off."
Some of the Decepticons felt a shudder go through their metal bodies, having a feeling that now that they are the size of humans, she might just do that.
"Another important rule I must put out, Make a mess of anything, you are responsible for it. Ask me anything you wish, other than starting a war with each other. I will try to answer anything you have questions of in this world."
"Another thing, I don't mind you going through things, or grabbing stuff for your personal use, but please don't grab anything personal like family pictures, undergarments, anything that resembles something family or female...I would rather not see anything that I hold close to destroyed... Anyways, I think that's all the rules at the moment, any questions?"
Nobody spoke up, but Rachet then asked, "So, if you say that we're in the middle of nowhere, Shouldn't we have a base just in case any 'Unwanted visitors' Come?"
She thought about his request, now realizing that if one of her friends come over, or her other family, that could put them at great risk. Even though they were safe here, for the time being, they still needed somewhere other than her house. She nodded at his statement before answering his question.
'"Yes, I believe that is the best course of action, but if you were to build a base, I suggest in the backyard. There is a tree big enough for you to make something to lead to the base along with a fence for the land, so use whatever you need to build your base...any more questions?"
Optimus then spoke up as he stood up, "I have been meaning to ask this, but I do believe I heard you spoke of having siblings?" Ellis seemed to have brightened up at the mention of her siblings, a soft smile on her features along with a look of content in her eyes before she spoke.
"Yes, you heard right. My two younger brothers. 5 and 9-year-old troublemakers that I have to take care of…I love them though."
Megatron rolled his eyes before he asked, "Please, how much trouble could two parasites be?"
Ellis scoffed, crossing her arms with an annoyed look. "Oh please, Having to clean up after them is enough. Before you all got here, I had to deal with cleaning up their room. And don't call them Parasites, Camel."
Megatron glared at her before stomping off to do whatever an evil warlord does. She shrugged before pulling out her phone to check the time, rubbing her temple to get rid of the small headache. 4;15. A sigh escaped from her lips as she put her phone in her back pocket, looking around at each bot before deciding what to say.
"Here, if you wish to start with the plans for the base, I'll go ahead and grab some supplies so you guys can think of ideas, Don't start fighting while I'm going to go get them." As soon as she was out of the room, Ellis could hear the Transformers starting to get to work on ideas for their base. She smiled a bit, shaking her head before grabbing the necessities for them to work with. It was hard to maneuver, but Ellis tried to make her way back to them. Ellis now, not being able to see almost topples over to fall face first, bracing herself for the impact and the pain to soon follow in. But it never showed itself.
"Why don't I help you with this," Optimus asked as Ellis blinked in surprise, taking her eyes from the ground to face Optimus, who had caught her before she fell. He helped her stand upright, nodding as she handed him a few things until they were carrying equally. They soon started with some small talk as well as walking to where the group was, Optimus asking about this world, Ellis answering to the best of her ability. Soon they placed the supplies on the table, Both sides of the Transformers started to get to work. Ellis and Optimus looked at each other before small smiles showed, backing up and letting the other bots get to work.
Ellis checked the time, deciding to head to the kitchen since it was almost time for the boys to get up and get ready for school. Optimus asked her where she was heading, Walking with her to keep her company for wherever she was going.
"Oh, well since you Cybertronians don't eat or drink anything organic other than Energon, I was planning on making breakfast for me and my brothers, since they have school..which might be a problem since I don't necessarily trust the other bots alone with their enemy." He chuckled slightly and nodded in acknowledgment but decided to stay silent as she soon got to work. The Prime was intrigued since this was probably a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, He watched how she was going to create the food.
They stay in comfortable silence, other than the rest of the Cybertronians were busy with talking about ideas,-which included arguing from both sides- It was actually nice. Ellis never really had anyone but herself while her brothers were asleep while cooking, and she felt it was rather nice to finally have someone other than herself while she was cooking, even though they weren't necessarily human.
Optimus on the other hand, found it rather peaceful. He has always had his team by his side, fighting the Decepticons, a war that happened, and always being on edge. He had forgotten what it was like to be...at peace without always a fight happening every minute.
Optimus watched the female human work, stirring ingredients in the bowl. The Prime picked up the carton of eggs, trying to figure out how this round object could be turned into something organic. Ellis turned her attention to Optimus, a small giggle from her mouth erupted before placing the bowl down.
"Be careful with those, I would hate for them to break on the floor, or on yourself. Care to pass them here?"
He looked at her, then at the eggs before passing them to her, she nodded before placing another bowl in front of her, grabbing an egg before cracking it against the bowl. The yellow yolk came out, Ellis placed the shell into the cart to throw away for later.
He soon felt his curiosity get the best of him, deciding to ask her something. "...How does one...Make organic food?" She blinked, the last yolk falling into the bowl before she turned her attention back on the Prime.
She smiled before waving him over. "Why don't you help me out? That way it can be done faster, and you can learn more about us humans." He thought about it, deciding it would repay for her helping his team and the Decepticons, so he walked up to her side, awaiting her instructions.
Back with the others, they were continuing to argue with which side should have the bigger and better base side. Ratchet soon got tired of the arguing and said loudly, "How about we let the human decide? She has helped us so far... Scrap this is getting rather annoying."
Both sides went silent, The Decepticon side really didn't want to agree, but that threat the human made them reluctantly agree, along with the Autobots. They soon tried to look for the woman, but soon heard a laugh from the kitchen. The Autobots made their way to the doorway, very shocked look in their optics by what they saw.
They saw both Optimus and the human, but rather than his stoic calm look, was a small smile and a glint of happiness in his optics. Both he and Ellis were helping out with making an Organic meal, well her teaching the Autobot leader about how to make it. Optimus accidentally got some egg on him, a look of annoyance showed as Ellis laughed.
She handed him a rag to get the stuff off before finishing up stirring the eggs and placing them in a pan. The Autobot team was very surprised with the amount of emotion coming from their normally emotionless, stoic leader, Ratchet especially. He hasn't seen his friend with these emotions, ever since Elita was with them on Cybertron.
Optimus soon cleaned the stuff off him, placing the rag in the sink as he continued to try and help out as well as talk to his new friend. Ellis soon had a thought on her, turning to meet the leader's gaze before speaking, "..Thank you for helping out Optimus, It's been a while since I've had a friend to talk to...even if this was a weird way to meet." He let out a chuckle and nodded, allowing the comfortable silence to engulf them.
They soon got everything ready, soon now talking about base ideas, different music cultures, etc. Ellis soon decided to show some old songs to Optimus that she enjoys, different singers like the beetles, The Goo Goo Dolls, Bon Jovi, all those things. She decided to show a song that she enjoys a lot.
Optimus listened to the song and the words, glancing occasionally at Ellis to see her reaction. She had a soft smile on her features, along with a calming look in her eyes.
I have fallen to my knees
As I sing a lullaby of pain
I'm feeling broken in my melody
As I sing to help the tears go away
Then I remember, the pledge you made to me
I know your always there
To hear my every prayer
Inside I'm clinging to
The promise of a lifetime~
Optimus felt there was an impact in the song, but couldn't place what it was about. His Processor was trying to figure out what it meant, before he could ask Ellis beat him to answering.
"...This song helps me believe there will be another day, a better day…wherever my parents are, I know they will come back, this helps me realize that…Maybe you were brought here for a reason." Optimus let his mouth curve up slightly, listening to the rest of the song as Ellis placed the now cooked eggs onto a plate.
Optimus listened to Ellis as she hummed a small tune while taking the time to observe his surroundings. He then focused his attention on a picture of what seemed to be her family. The male in the picture seemed to be in his early 40s, with black hair, and beard with hints of grey. He wore a serious but calm look, his outfit included a blue button-up shirt with blue jeans.
The woman was not similar to Ellis, Her having dark brown hair while Ellis has bright blonde. She held a kind smile, but in her eyes, it shows that it is fake. The lady had what looked to be pretty expensive jewelry, her clothes included a pretty blunt shade of pink and white. He was wondering about her as he carefully picked up the frame.
Ellis glanced over, seeing the picture he was holding she then said, "That's my family… Mr. and Mrs. Madden." He placed the picture back down on the counter, turning to face Ellis before he asked,
"...Why do you not call them Mother or Father?... You are their daughter are you not?" She didn't answer the leader, Standing in place for a while with a bit of hesitance. Optimus felt his curiosity and concern fill his Optics. He opened his mouth to speak, but she beat him to it.
"...They may have the title of parents, but they aren't truly my former bloodline… I've never saw them more than just the Maddens." The Prime stared at her, confusion written all over his faceplate.
"...I'm adopted, Optimus. I don't have the same genes or DNA as them, nor will I care to. I'm only looking to find them for my Brothers' sake…They have been gone for almost 8 years now. They just…up and left, without a word or goodbye. They never were there when Jack was sick, I helped them when they were just infants! I make food for them, keeping a roof over their heads. They never was there when I got my first period…" Optimus could now see why she wasn't calling them her actual parents, no one should ever have to go through that during their childhood, and have been forced to mature at such a young age.
He was reluctant to give comfort, but pulled Ellis into a comforting, warm hug. She was surprised nonetheless, she felt grateful for it and returned with the hug. She felt some weight lifted off her shoulders, which gave her some relief.
"..Sissy?...who's that?"
…Scrap
And that is all! I plan on making a ton of stories, jump from each one with a chapter, and hopefully get past 10 chapters on each! I'll see you in another chapter! Peace!
