Hello everyone hope you're having a good day! Here's another chapter for yall!

Ellis wiped her forehead from sweat as she removed herself from the engine of her car. She let out a sigh, soon slamming down the hood and grabbing her tools to put away later.

She soon heard a voice up behind her, glancing back, she smiled lightly at the sight of Rachet.

"Ms. Ellis, I was alerted you would be back here…I was just going to check and make sure everything was alright." He spoke.

She winced slightly, rubbing her side to ease the pain from earlier. She just smiled and shook her head. "Thank you Rachet, But I will be ok. I just need some ice to put on the bruise. And please refrain from anything formal, I would rather people just call me Ellis"

His eyes narrowed slightly at her statement, his eyes soon glowed, checking over the injuries.

"Hmm…Yes, I suppose your right…" He mumbled lightly before turning away and heading inside.

Ellis just shook her head, a small smile tugging at her lips. She quickly wiped her tools and hands clean before returning to her shed.

As she was putting things away, she soon began to think about the cybertronian guests in her home. Now that she thought about it, none of this should even be remotely possible to ever happen. Normally she would have tried to get answers, maybe do some scientific research.

But she soon accepted them into her home like it was nothing.

The shed door slowly creaking open broke her from her train of thought, tilting her head slightly just to see who came in. She soon had a big smile on her face when she saw a familiar yellow and black Autobot.

"Hey bee." She spoke with slight excitement. He wirred with a wave, a happy look on his faceplates. Soon a little bit later, Ellis and bee were soon talking like best friends, He was concerned at the blue and purple bruise starting to form on her skin, but she gently reassured him that she will be fine.

A little while later, while she and him were in comfortable silence, Another person came in. Bee whirred happily at the sight of Optimus, who gave him a nod in return.

Soon they heard Rachet calling for the young scout, who had a look of displeasure, but also a sheepish one.

Ellis smiled and gently patted his head, "Don't worry bee, we will hang out soon, now go before Rachet blows a gasket." He nodded once before quickly shuffling out of the shed.

It was soon that a slightly heavy, awkward silence set in between her and the Autobot prime. Ellis cleared her throat as she went back to cleaning her tools.

"So, how is the planning for the new base coming along?" She spoke up, trying to fill in the void of awkward air.

"It is going well…but we don't necessarily have the right equipment for this…and with trying to hide from other humans.." His voice soon died off.

Ellis was soon worried for the leader, he already had so much to deal with, but also herself and her brothers on his shoulders…She shook her thoughts off. She would do the best she can with helping her new friends.

She reluctantly, but gently placed a hand on the Autobots shoulder, a small, almost comforting smile showed on her lips.

"Optimus, you know you can always count on me to get the stuff you need. I have a couple friends on the outside that can help. I won't tell them about your existence if that makes you feel any better…"

Optimus had a reluctant look in his optics, a battle in his mind to accept the help or not.

"...But you and your family has already done so much for us…" He said with a soft, yet strained rumble.

Ellis just shook her head, just like she did with the warlord, she gently placed her small hand against the leader's cheek plates, him jumping slightly at the touch.

"Optimus, I only let you stay here and keep your secret away from any prying eyes…I haven't done anything to repay you and your team for protecting the earth…You and the others are the people I care most about in my life…even the Decepticons."

He was surprised at the very heartfelt speech from the human femme in front of him. Never in his lifespan has he ever seen such kindness in such a long time during the war…He just smiled, a real genuine one as he closed his optics.

"Thank you for this Ellis…All of us are in your debt for your kindness…" He rumbled softly, gently taking her hand and, very human gesture-like, resting his dermas against her palm.

Ellis's eyes widened at the simple yet very sweet gesture, covering her mouth with the back of her other hand as her cheeks had a very dark pink.

They soon stared at each other for a hot second before bashfully turning away. Ellis had red cheeks while Optimus had his cooling fans on at a pretty high level. A rattling sound, along with the ground rumbling made them turn and look around with slight worry.

"Ellis look out!" Was a frantic voice of Optimus as he quickly pushed her and himself up against a wall, soon understanding that tools from the shelf was falling down hard at where they were once standing.

She yelped in surprise as she hid her face against his chassis. The noises soon stopped and everything was at a standstill. Ellis and Optimus lifted their heads up and turned to the damage, tools, screws, Paint cans splattered and oil going everywhere. Ellis let out a sigh of relief, Optimus soon turned to make sure She was alright, but soon realizing their predicament.

Optimus had her up against a wall, both pressed up against each other pretty closely, and soon noticed his hands were both at the sides of her head..

They didn't say a word, both of their life forces beating quickly and hard against their chests.

Optimus thought about why his spark was going wild in his chamber. Why in the all Sparks name was he feeling this way? He was a prime! He shouldn't have these feelings when trying to protect his team and the humans! And yet…there was something about her that made his spark jump and twist at the sight of her. Her endless kindness and selflessness was also something he was in awe of. What he didn't realize was that Ellis was thinking close to the exact same thing.

Unconsciously, something in their mind made them want to push closer to each other, almost like a magnetic field trying to pull itself back together. Their eyes searched for something, anything…but only found admiration, and another hidden emotion. Ellis's eyes soon fluttered to a close…Their lips almost touching…

They suddenly snapped out of their daze, startled at a sudden ring that filled their ears.

Aaaaannndd scene! Hope you like this chapter!
