When Elisabeth woke up, she felt as if her head was going to explode. Nothing came to mind after that they have decided to sign up for the dance. Also, the bed was weirdly soft and comfortable, like it wasn't her bed at all. So, opening her eyes, her theory proved to be true as her head was resting on Megatron's chest, while he hugged her tight. How and why did they end up in this situation, she didn't know. Just that this felt good. Really good.

The only problem was that her stomach growled in a worrying manner, making Elisabeth very aware that she was starving. So, she had to leave him and go to the kitchen and make some breakfast, take out some painkillers and water. She desperately needed water.

But when she entangled herself from him, she slipped and fell to the floor with a loud thud. And this made her partner wake up alarmed. He was like her too, held his head with a pained look and tried to look where he really is.

"Elisabeth?" he asked, looking down at her.

"Do you remember anything? Because I have no clue how we got here" she said with a small smile on her face.

"There is nothing after we went to dance."

"Well, it seems at least we won," she said pointing at the crown on the top of his now messy hair. "Got to be king and queen."

"It is a pity there is nothing I can remember" he yawned then looked at the clock which showed one in the afternoon.

"This was one long sleep" there she went for water and painkillers. "Medicine for your headache" gave Elisabeth to Megatron the pill with one glass of water. Then she took her own pill and swallowed it with the water. Seeing this he did the same.

"I do not wish to go anywhere today" he said, laying back on the couch, tired.

"We could cook something then watch a movie, but we can order food." But she was suddenly yanked down by him and they became so close that the tip of their nose touched.

"Can we stay like this?" he whispered, running one finger across her face. It was rare for him to be tender like this. She made him want to be tender, want to be better. But only with her. It was strange. All these feelings he harboured towards her.

"Just a little bit more," she answered leaning into his touch.

When she woke again, the smell of ramen filled the house. It must be delicious. She can't wait to eat it! But it begged the question: who did the food?! This was when she sat straight up and ran into the kitchen. There she saw Megatron finishing the instant ramen.

"You…" started Elisabeth, but could only stop in her surprise. "You did this?"

"I woke up and you did not. I thought I would let you sleep and do food for us. I found this 'instant ramen', which had simple instructions, so I… Why am I overreacting to a simple thing such as this?"

"You're getting better!" she said with a smile on her lips. "I'm so proud of you!"

"Proud?" he asked back, feeling… flustered. She did just praise his work; he made her proud.

"I told you that I want to prepare you for the hardships of being human. And seeing you overcome it makes me so proud!" she smiled as she gave him a hug. "But anyway, time to eat! Also, time… What time is it?"

"16:34" he answered as Elisabeth realised something.

"Oh, no! I've just remembered that I have to go to dinner, because mom invited me!" she said a half-truth, because she didn't want him to get entangled in her messy family situation.

"You do not have to go, if you do not feel like it."

"You don't understand. I don't wanna make mom even angrier than she already is. She's not an easily forgiving person" she explained as she ate the ramen. "It's delicious by the way!"

"Thank you. I may not understand what you are going through, but this time I will not let you face it alone."

"You wanna come too?" he nodded, then he continued eating his ramen as well. "Then I suppose we should get going after we finish. Mom doesn't like it if someone's late."

"Your creator does not like a lot of things."

"But that's how she is and that's alright."

"My ass is alright!" Elisabeth thought as an hour and a half later they were waiting to be let in by Elisabeth's parents.

"Here you are! It's such a pleasure to see you two!" her mother opened the door to them.

This was the first time he saw her creators and it hit him as a surprise when her mother looked nothing like Elisabeth. Dyed, platinum blonde hair in 'speak to the manager' haircut style.

"Karen, where are my glasses?!" shouted someone in the background.

"Where you put them!" she shouted back as she turned around and went to another room, letting both of them in.

"Is she really your creator?"

"Yes, she is my mom, but fortunately we look like dad."

"Betsy! Megatron!" shouted Daniel as he ran towards them and hugged his sister first. "Good to see you two! Mom drives us insane, because of you two!"

"Why, little one?"

"She firmly believes that you two are a thing. She even planned everything from the engagement to the wedding until the children!"

"What is an engagement?"

"Part of the human courting process if this makes sense. She thinks you are courting me" Elisabeth explained red from embarrassment. Here they go again.

"I can see… why does she think that" he whispered to her ear.

"Wait… YOU AGREE WITH MY MOM?! YOU TRAITOR!" she shouted, pushing him playfully.

"You are overreacting this Betsy" he continued to mess with her.

"You are calling her Betsy too?" asked Daniel excitedly. "You two are really a thing! Engagement here we go!" he shouted then ran back to his room.

"Now you planted ideas into his head! Now I'll never hear the end of it, because of you!" she said as she crossed her arms and furrowed her eyebrows, giving the same look when they were shopping. "Also, you told me you would help! Not… Agrh!" she shouted frustrated as she walked into the living room where her dad was still searching for his glasses. "Dad, the glasses are on top of your head," Elisabeth said.

"Really? Really!" Then he put on his glasses and went to hug his daughter. He looked like Elisabeth and Daniel with the same red hair, and brown eyes and face shape. "Welcome home, I missed you."

"I missed you too dad" she said and when her dad saw Megatron he walked towards him.

"I heard what happened to you, so accept my apology. I am George Osborne, Elisabeth's father" he said introducing himself.

"I am glad to meet you" he took his hand.

"Then we should get going to eat, I let Karen do the cringe child photo showing."

"I have to prevent that! Megatron, we are going home!" she exclaimed. There's no way in hell she would stay if her mom wants to embarrass her.

"Megatron?" murmured her father, confused.

"But we just got here. Also, you said your mom…" he said but Elisabeth put her pointing finger before his lips signalling him to shut up.

"Not a word! We can stay but say no to mom. That's all I ask" she said, but it only made him laugh at her.

"It is okay, Betsy. I will not pry into your life."

"Betsy? Wait… Are you two really a thing?" He looked at both of them confused.

"No" they said it at once, being so done with everything asking this.

But the dinner was worse. Way worse as Karen started to tell Elisabeth's whole life like some children's story. She hated it. Feeling embarrassed all the time.

At first, he took interest in what her mom said about how passionate Elisabeth was about ice-skating. How much she worked to win the competitions. But in the meanwhile, he would look at her and see her face become more and more uncomfortable. He didn't understand why, because her mother was only speaking about her passion so proudly and happily like she wouldn't. Why didn't she want to talk about what she has achieved so far?

But he had no time to ask as her mother pulled him with her without asking. It seems at least there's something similar between Elisabeth and her mother.

"This was taken at your first Halloween when you two was six!" she explained while showing him the picture. "You were classmates since primary. Inseparable if you ask me."

So, this is how Elisabeth and Merlin knew each other! He sometimes wondered how and why they were friends and now he was about to find out.

"Elisabeth didn't tell me about that. But I do understand that she had a lot of things to do and we did not have the time for it."

"You sounded angry over the phone, but now you look like the calmest person on Earth" there she started to giggle.

"You interrupted us in the middle of something important."

"What were you two doing?"

"Talking. Walking."

"That doesn't sound important."

"It was important to me," he snapped, starting to get irritated. "And her. Also, you were disrespectful."

"You changed," she said, leaving him in Elisabeth's old room.

"I'm sorry that she pulled you into this" appeared Elisabeth behind him embarrassed.

"She has told me how you met Merlin. You must have known him for a long time" he turned to her, guilt in his chest as he still watched the two kids in the picture. The both were dressed up as cowboys and were holding a wooden horse head on a stick. "And I took him from you" he said, trying to push his feelings down.

"It's not your fault, you don't even remember anything, so who knows what's happened?" she shrugged her shoulders as she took out the picture from his hands and put it next to another one. Which also made Megatron interested.

"Who's that?" he pointed in the picture of another messy and fiery red-haired girl with strange, galaxy-coloured jeans.

"Her? She's my cousin Aurora. Rory and her family live in the United States, so we don't really often meet" Elisabeth explained. "But she's an adventurous teenager, she would totally help us if she were here!"

"As I said, human children are dangerous."

"I wanna say no, but when I think about it, jeez, teenagers are trouble you don't want yourself in. I mean cousin Rory is something."

"Cousin Aurora is cool!" Daniel appeared. "Once we went on the typical family camping and she decided to cook all the marshmallows on one stick! Or when she did that dangerous trick with her bike!" he told it enthusiastically, remembering what happened on their last family trip.

"That camping trip was a disaster," Elisabeth said, rolling her eyes.

"Maybe you see like that, but I think it was cool! Also, you" here he pointed at Megatron "I mean Merlin was there. He helped mom and dad with the food and taught Rory how to play the guitar, so she could start singing songs with accompaniment. Cousin Aurora has a very nice voice! But to be back on track this means summer will come as well!"

"I should have thought" he shook his head smiling, knowing what Daniel wanted to say from the beginning. "If you invite me, I will come"

"In reality you wouldn't like it. The whole family goes on the trip, which means us, Rory and her family, uncle Witwicky and his family. Grandpa from dad's side, grandma from mom's…"

"This is a lot of people," he whispered, realising that the human family was even bigger than he first thought.

"I have a big family. Also sorry for ruining the fun, but we should go. I want to watch a movie when we get home."

"What will we watch?"
