Megatron was not prepared for this meeting. It wasn't supposed to happen at all! PERIOD. But now there was Elisabeth, who didn't seem to mind being carried by an alien.

So, he closed his eyes and tried to calm his racing heart. It couldn't be happening, but everything was pushing him in that direction, and he lost control once more.

"Inquiry: Where has he gone?" Soundwave inquired as he lowered the women.

"There!" Elisabeth pointed at him with her finger.

This was followed by a long period of silence. That was a long one. Megatron didn't know what to say, so he began to examine his boots with great interest in order to avoid looking at Soundwave. The last time he saw him, they were fighting over possession of the Omega lock. But he never saw him again after they parted on the bridge.

"Is he all right?" Melissa asked, whispering to Elisabeth.

Meanwhile, Soundwave took a step forward and knelt down to get a better look at him. After this, Soundwave became even more curious and poked his face, only to be met with a lethal glare from the Decepticon warlord.

"I am fully aware of your… confusion. However, I am Megatron. You must believe me, even if this sounds insane." Yes, this was insane. And it was now difficult for him to believe it. As a result, he began to laugh.

"He has his scent," Ravage acknowledged as he approached his master.

"Prove it," he said in a variety of voices that were cut together.

"Do you recall our first meeting at the Arena? You stated that you came for the minicons. Because the council gave scrap about everyone. You came because you believed…" he stopped for a minute and taking a big breath he continued "I can shake things up. And you thought the same as all of us. That you rather go down fighting than living your life doing nothing."

"It is really you," he said as he stood up with him in his hands. "If I can be in help of you my Lord, I will." Elisabeth, Ambrose, and Melissa felt their phones vibrate in their pockets at that time, and when they took them out, they noticed a new message saying:

Soundwave, Laserbeak, and Ravage have joined the party.

All three of them began to chuckle at this point. The faceless Decepticon had a great sense of humour.

"Hey! What are you laughing about?" he said as Soundwave placed him down. Elisabeth just waved, indicating that there is nothing. He didn't believe her, so he snatched her phone from her grasp, just like in the zoo.

"Give me my phone!" she yelled as she attempted to reach it by jumping.

"We are now fully prepared to save Earth!"

"Saving Earth?" Soundwave inquired, still observing Elisabeth and Megatron's quarrel. And, despite the fact that no one could see it, he was pleased by how this human woman handled his Lord.

"Yes. Our objective is to save this planet," Megatron stated, raising Elisabeth's phone higher in the air.

"Also, we should go before the authorities discover us," Mel cut in, reminding everyone of the illegal things they did tonight.

"We'd do it if someone would just give me my phone!" Beth yelled as she reached for her phone. But when it didn't work, she changed her strategy. "If you don't give me back, you'll be living on instant ramen for the next decade since I won't cook for you!"

"Fine," he said in defeat as he handed Beth her phone back. "Soundwave," he said, looking up at him. "Follow us without being detected. Tomorrow, I will help to find a more appropriate disguise."

This was when Ravage leapt onto Soundwave's back and changed so he could fit comfortably. The faceless mech then waited for them to go so he could transform and follow them.

Megatron kept asking Elisabeth what had happened at the laboratory all the way home, and she eagerly answered him. She noticed his excitement but refrained from asking about it. And also, it was quite obvious why he looked like a child on their birthday.

"I am thankful for your help. All of you."

"We're friends after all. Unlikely but still friends" Melissa said looking back for a moment.

When they arrived Megatron took his way towards the backyard where Soundwave was standing quietly. Meanwhile, Elisabeth decided to leave him be, to talk with his friends. He needed this and Beth wanted to support him in any way she could.

"Let's eat something while Megs talks with his friends," she said putting one-one hand on Mel's and Ambrose's shoulders.

"This is all fucked up. Seeing aliens and stuff."

"This isn't that surprising… But yeah, Beth's right, we should eat something."

"I suppose I owe you a story," Megatron said while looking up at Soundwave, who just nodded in agreement. "Well… There is actually not much of a story to tell. I died then awoke in this body, since then, I've been trying to find my way out of this planet. to reclaim my life. Or at least what is left of it."

"Who is the girl?" Ravage asked, joining the conversation. "She has your scent all over her."

"Elisabeth Osborne is the reason why I am still alive. She is someone I greatly cherish. This means if she is in danger your mission is to save her. She holds a higher importance than even me. Also, Soundwave. Remind me if things ever return to the way they were, to build a statue of her, so everyone could be blessed by her beauty."

"You seem to be attached to her, my Lord."

"She is to me like Solus was once for the Fallen."

"But that ended in a tragedy."

"This will not end like that," he finally said after a few seconds of thinking. "But let us not focus on that now, we should focus on how we are going to get my body and ship back."

On Soundwave's visor, a picture of Cybertron appeared. Then he zoomed in so that everyone could see where the ship was at the time. It was beyond of reach. Or was it?

"Can you reach the Nemesis, Soundwave?" he said, but his friend just shrugged his shoulders and a wrench icon appeared on his visor. "So, if you can recalibrate, there's a chance you will be able to open a space bridge from Cybertron to Earth?" He nodded there. "Then we should concentrate on that. You must locate Shockwave after we have opened a bridge. He is the most versed in spark science, thus he is our best bet. I am hoping that whatever we discover in that massive human laboratory will aid in your recalibration process."

"And then what? What are we going to do?" Ravage inquired as Soundwave sat down to pet him.

"We reclaim my body, ship, and warriors, and finish this..." He came to a halt when he felt something warm on his shoulders and, turning around, he saw Elisabeth putting a blanket on him.

"It's getting cold out here now. Apologies for the trouble, but I couldn't let you freeze to death. But now I get going and…" He suddenly grabbed her wrist and drew her into an embrace.

"Stay with me" he lovingly whispered into her ear, just for her to hear.

"Of course, someone has to tell about our pancake war!" She grinned and snuggled close to him as they sat down together. "So, your Lord here…" she pointed at Megatron. "Decided to help me with the food, but he made it defy the laws of gravity. Though in the end it fell, but to his face! I was laughing for a solid minute when he decided to throw it at MY face" there Ravage let out a chuckle. "So, we ended up throwing pancakes at each other until the whole kitchen became a mess…"

As she told more and more stories, Soundwave seemed to be interested, while Megatron had fallen asleep on her shoulder. And when he did, Elisabeth felt her phone vibrate and taking it out, she saw a new message from Soundwave.

"He said you are to him like Solus was once to the Fallen."

"I think I know who the Fallen is, but… Who is Solus?" she asked, looking at him. "I mean they would have been very popular if their name was Solus. Sol means sun in Latin. Another language we have here. And the sun is in the middle of the solar system, so I think you get it…"

"Solus Prime was one of the thirteen Primes. She was kind to everyone, many liked her. But one was closer than the others. According to legend, she and Megatronus were in love. But this did not last for long as someone arranged a plan to tear them apart. In the end, they argued and Megatronus accidentally killed her. For the crime he committed, he got the name 'The Fallen'."

"So, you also have your own ROMEO AND JULIET?!" she shouted, surprised when she finished the text. So, she was to him like Juliet was to Romeo!

"You do not get the weight of the story, do you?"

"There's no weight because it's just that. A story."

"It is not just a story. It is the truth. And if you anything like Solus was to the Fallen, you are endangering not just him, but the whole war. The war we intend to win."

"Who is 'we' really?" asked Elisabeth standing up narrowing her brown eyes. "Because until today there wasn't anyone who showed up to help him. I was the only one taking care of him! So, tell me… Where are the 'we'?"

"Megatron is determined to win the war. He has to."

"Winning the war? Really?" she laughed, shaking her head. She remembered what he said to her. "You know what he said to me? He hates this and wants nothing more than end this. And if you are his friend, you should do what's best for him!"

"I'm doing what's best for him" Elisabeth didn't have time to read it all because a tentacle shot out and grabbed her so quickly that she dropped her phone in fear.

"Then allow me to ask you a question. Are you loyal to him or to the ideals he represents?"

"You are the first one to be ever interested in me, not the ideals I hold."

This sentence was fresh in Elisabeth's mind. How could she have forgotten that day?

Unfortunately, the response appeared to be that the tentacle around her tightened, squeezing all the oxygen out of her little lungs. She was well aware that Soundwave had had enough of her and interpreted her sentence as a cue to execute her. She's about to die, and instead of running away like a terrified little bird, she stared him in the eyes (or at least where she believed his eyes would be) and said:

"Kill me, but you will prove nothing with it. So come on! I'm not afraid of you!" She yelled and waited, but Soundwave remained still. This game of staring at each other continued until Elisabeth began to lose consciousness due to a lack of oxygen. Her head tipped forward; her eyes heavy from not only being squeezed but also from being sleepy. And then, as everything blurred, she heard his voice.

"Let her go! NOW!" This snapped her out of her dizzy state and made her if for just a few moments, focus on him. "That is an order, and I will not tolerate disobedience in this case! Especially coming from you!" His voice boomed with rage, and his eyes blazed crimson red in the moonlight. This seemed to work as Soundwave lowered her to the ground. While Megatron knelt next to her, the air filling her lungs felt so amazing.

"It seems everyone from your kind wants to kill me one way or another" she giggled tried as he was looking down at her with worry.

"Because you are determined to make each and every one of us upset," he sighed relieved as he lifted her from the ground.

"And then each and every one of your kind will fall in love with me?" she asked back teasingly which made him flustered. This wasn't the time for this. Not after almost being killed! Why do humans keep on dismissing the danger and the possible death?!

"Stupid woman" he answered shaking his head annoyed. "Do not poke the bear."

"You're no bear," she said poking his face in delight. "But wait… Did you just use… a human idiom?!" she gasped in surprise as he was looking back at her with wide eyes.

"I did" he admitted astonished by the fact that he felt the use of a human idiom in this situation instead of a cybertronian one. And his look made Elisabeth laugh in pure joy, which made him smile.

"But come on, we need to sleep since you'll be helping him," she said, pointing to Soundwave "and I'll also be training again."
