Chapter 1: Luffy, Ace, and Sabo, Luffy's devil fruit? And who's the mysterious new girl?!"

"Luffy no! DID YOU JUST EAT THAT FRUIT!?" The red haired pirate said in astonishment. "Yeah why?" The boy replied after getting the bad taste out of his mouth

"You just ate a devil fruit, and not just any devil fruit, it's a new devil fruit that we found!" Shanks yelled at the boy as shanks took Luffy's head and tried shaking him to spit the fruit back out. "Shanks, I don't even know what a devil fruit is!" Luffy yelled back.

"A devil fruit is a fruit that you eat to gain powers but at the price of your ability to swim." Shanks calmed down. But everyone else in the bar started talking about the devil fruit.

"I CAN'T SWIM? Hopefully the powers that I get are good.." Luffy said, still in shock.

"Well I'm not sure what the powers you have are since this is a new fruit, but don't try swimming for a while now…"

Couple months later…

"YOUR GONNA BE PIRATES!? AND YOU GOT HIDDEN TREASURE ALREADY!? I'M GOING TO BECOME A PIRATE TO!" Luffy screamed at Ace and Sabo as he witnessed their conversation about becoming pirates.

"Shut up!" Ace and Sabo replied in unison as they both ran at Luffy punching him in the head.

5 minutes later we see a tied up Luffy, "You know what's cool? I can follow you everyday now I Know where you go everyday Ace." Luffy said, still smiling even with the fact that he was being tied against a tree.

"You do know that you're tied up against a tree right?" They asked. "Yeah, but Ace you never told me you had a friend, now you're my friend too!" Luffy said, still grinning.

Eventually the bluejam pirates hear them so they capture Luffy. The bluejam pirates then Take Luffy to some kind of basement and tie him there.

"Tell me where they are now!" The bluejam pirate yelled as he took a giant hammer and was about to slam Luffy into it. If this were the original timeline it wouldn't affect Luffy, but he doesn't have the gomu gomu no mi.

"Please stop!" Luffy yelled as he got hit by the hammer and now his head is bleeding. "Tell us where they are!!" The bluejam pirates yelled as he got ready to swing once more.

"NOOO STOP!" Luffy yelled as suddenly a portal opened up out of nowhere, sucking him inside. "What the? Where'd the kid go?" The pirates asked.

New dimension.

"Wait where am I?!" Luffy said, waking up on the side of the grass. "Oh so you're finally awake?" A young girl aked.

Luffy turned around to face the speaker, she had blonde hair and wore a black dress and seemed to be about Luffy's age, seven.

"You had a really bad injury but I was able to bandage your wound. How did you get hurt like that anyways?" The girl asked.

"Right! The bluejam pirates! Where are they?" Luffy asked. "Uh pirates? You must have hit your head harder than I thought…" The girl said as she sweatdropped.

"So I'm not with them anymore…" Luffy began

"I'm Lucy by the way, what about you?" She asked.

"Oh I'm Luffy! I'm going to become king of the pirates!!" He said, raising his hand up.

"Uh sure, how did you end up here anyways?" She asked the straw hat kid.

"I'm not sure, one second I was getting hit by a hammer," Luffy began as Lucy looked shocked. "And then the next I just got sent here. WAIT A MINUTE I THINK I KNOW!" Luffy yelled.

"What is it?" Lucy asked.

"I think it might have been my devil fruit, I ate it a couple months ago but nobody knew what it was." Luffy said looking a little depressed.

"Oh that's cool even though I'm not sure what a devil fruit is. But why the long face?" She asked.

"My devil fruit is so lame! I don't wanna just run away from my problems…" Luffy said.

"Ha, I guess we're the opposite then, I'm trying to run away from my abusive father but I don't know where to go."

"Oh! Why don't you come back with me, you can be the first member of my pirate crew!" Luffy said excitedly. "Sure why not." Lucy said smiling.

A couple weeks later Luffy and Lucy figured out that his devil fruit sends him to a different dimension to Luffy and Lucy's shock. And they are able to figure a way to open a portal back to their dimension, with emotions.

"You got this!" Lucy said encouragely.

"HA!" Luffy yelled as he managed to open a portal back to his dimension. "Alright now let's jump in!" Lucy said as both of them ran up and jumped inside of the portal.

"So you're back and who's that girl with you!" The bluejam pirate said. "Why are you guys still here? It's been weeks!" Luffy yelled.

"Weeks, what do you mean? We've been sitting here for only an hour." They said to Luffy and Lucy's shock. Suddenly the boys jump in and start beating up the pirates.

"Luffy, who's your friend?" Sabo asked. "HEY SABO HEY ACE! She is Lucy. I met her in a different dimension!" Luffy said. "What different dimension? What are you talking about!?" Sabo and Ace say in unison as all the other pirates there are shocked.

"Yup it's true I come from Earthland, but I came here to be Luffy's first crew member." Lucy said as all the kids started running except for Ace.

"Why aren't you coming with us Ace?" They asked.

"I'm not gonna run, I'll stay here and fight this guy, you guys just leave." Ace said as he began fighting the bluejam pirate.

Couple minutes later

"Ace, those guys were actual pirates, next time we just run." Sabo said.

"Yeah yeah whatever. Hey so what's up with this different dimension thing?" Ace asked.

"I ate a new devil fruit that allows me to travel to different dimensions!" Luffy yelled.

"Yeah it's true." Lucy added. "WHAT! REALLY!?" The boys asked in shock. "That could possibly be a revolutionary devil fruit! What are you going to name it?" Sabo and Ace said.

"What about the Shunpo Shunpo no mi?" Ace asked. "You know what that actually sounds pretty good!

Years later.

Sabo has unfortunately been said as "dead" and Ace has left the island to begin becoming a pirate. Lucy and Luffy are left training by themselves learning how to use magic. Luffy figured out that Luffy's devil fruit allows him to also gain the properties of the dimension that he enters. So now he uses magic.

Luffy learns wind magic and Lucy learns wood magic.

"Now there is only 3 years until we become pirates… What do you wanna do till then?" Lucy asks her soon to be captain. "Why don't we enter a new world to train?" Luffy asks.

"Yeah that sounds great, let's do it!" Lucy replied as Luffy made a portal.

"Alright let's go!" Luffy said excitedly as they both ran into the portal.

They find themselves in the world of hunters and they find a suitable teacher for them to learn from. They learn how to master their nen Lucy has emission and Luffy has enhancer. When they go back to their own world they learn that it's only been 1 hour passed even though they were in the Hunter world for a year.

They stay in their own world for another 3 years mastering the abilities they already know and now they are 17.
