Zoro, Luffy, and Lucy leave the marine base and head off to their next destination. Unfortunately Luffy's hat was carried off by the wind. "Oh no! Wind magic!" Luffy said as he was able to carry his hat back to him with his wind magic.

A couple of pirates had come on the boat talking about Captain Buggy but they were able to deal with them and they were able to head off to where Buggy was.

"Yes I got the map I need to run!" A orange haired girl said to herself as she began running away from a bunch of pirates until a boy with a straw came out of nowhere.

"Dang I lost everyone. You guys there? Lucy! Zoro!?" Luffy said, trying to see if anybody was there as he had gotten separated from them somehow.

"OH! Hey captain… Thanks for coming to save me!" The orange haired girl said to Luffy. "Huh do I know you? I'm hungry." Luffy replied.

"They're all yours now, captain have fun!" The girl said running off leaving Luffy to deal with the pirates.

"You guys know where you can find something to eat around here?" Luffy asked, obliviously. "Food is the least of your worries!" One of the pirates said trying to punch Luffy only for the attack to hurt him

"OW OW OW! What are you made out of? STEEL?!" The pirate said after making contact with the boy. "Huh? Oh that's just my nen. Wind magic: Tornado!" Luffy said as a mini tornado came outta nowhere knocking all the pirates out.

'I wonder if they killed that poor guy yet…' The orange haired girl said, still escaping until she witnessed Luffy make a tornado that knocked all of them out.

"WOW! How'd you do that? You're really strong!" The girl said. "Hey your the girl who set me up!" Luffy said pointing at her.

"Who me? I'm just a talented thief that steals from pirates. I'm Nami,why don't you say and we team up?"

"Only if you got some food." Luffy said as his stomach growled in agreement. "Alright come with me." Nami said as she led Luffy to a place with food.

"I'm gonna earn 100 million that's my dream and I will achieve it especially with this chart of the grand line." Nami said as Luffy ate. "Wait, you're a navigator?" Luffy asked, surprised.

"Yup, probably the best navigator you'll ever meet!" Nami replied. "Then you have to join my crew!" Luffy said.

"NO!" Nami yelled, "I suppose this means you're a pirate."

"Yeah I am, I made a promise that I would become the pirate king." Luffy said looking at his hat.

"There's nothing in this world I hate more than pirates!" Nami yelled as she slammed the table. "Come on, be our navigator please!" Luffy said.

"I said no!" Nami said. She began leaving until she stopped and smirked, "Actually I'll consider joining your crew if you and I pay a visit to buggy the clown." Nami said

"Really? Sure, let's do it!" Luffy said, taking the last bite of his food. "Ok but first…" Nami began as she tied Luffy up.

"Why did you have to tie me up?" Luffy asked. "It's only for appearances," Nami answered back.

Soon later Nami and Luffy reach Buggy. Nami then pushed Luffy on the ground saying, "Hmph, I captured the thief captain Buggy, here's your chart back"

"I appreciate it but why the sudden change of heart?" Buggy asked. "I just had a fight with my captain and I couldn't take it anymore. So I thought if I could join your crew," she said. Buggy only laughed.

But then they put Luffy in a cage. "Hey why'd you guys put me in a cage?" Luffy asked for nobody to answer as the pirates began having a party.

"Wind magic.." Lufy said quietly as he brought some of the food they were eating towards him so he could have a bite.

"Alright men, it's time to prepare the buggy ball!" Buggy said, capturing all of his pirates' attention.

They then took out a cannon ball aiming it at the town as they blew up half of the town. Then they started aiming the ball at Luffy.

"Nami, why don't you light this buggy ball?" Buggy asked Nami. Then every single pirate there started screaming "Fire! Fire! Fire!"

'If I don't shoot I'll be killed… but if I do I'll be no better than a pirate.

"Why are you hesitating? That's what happens when you take on pirates with half-ass resolve." Luffy said. "Resolve for what? Killing someone?" Nami replied.

"No. You have to be willing to risk your own life." Luffy said smiling but unfortunately one of the pirates came and grabbed the lighter and tried to lit the cannon.

"Here new chick, let me show you how to light the cannon." The pirate said, but was hit by nami with her staff.

"NAMI!" Buggy yelled.

"Pirates took the life of someone very dear to me. I'll never be one of them!" Nami yelled but suddenly they hear the sound of sizzling.

"AH! NAMI! The fuse it's going off!" Luffy yelled as the cannon was about to fire. Suddenly they heard something off in the distance.

"LUFFY YOU IDIOT!" One of them said.

"WHY DID YOU RUN OFF LIKE THAT??" The other said.

"AH! Lucy! Zoro! You're Here!" Luffy said excitedly as Nami ran up to the canon and used her hand to take the fuse out.

"Wood magic: forest make!" The blonde haired girl said as she knocked out a lot of the buggy pirates as Zoro used his swords to be able to slice some of them as well.

"AAAAHHHH!" Nami yelled, her hand was being burned by the light.

"I gotta admit the girl got guts." Zoro said as he continued fighting the buggy pirates.

"YOU WON'T GET AWAY WITH THIS!" Buggy yelled as he charged at Zoro only for Zoro to use his swords to cut him down or at least that's what he thought.

Everyone in Buggy's crew began laughing. "Why are they laughing their captain just got murdered?" Lucy asked, shocked. Suddenly Zoro had been hit by a knife to the back.

"You see I ate a devil fruit… The chop-chop fruit I can't be killed by swords." Buggy said as Lucy grabbed Zoro.

"We need to leave now!" Lucy said as she picked up Luffy's cage and started walking . "STABBING HIM IN THE BACK WAS A COWARDLY MOVE YOU BIG NOSE!" Luffy yelled.

"Luffy no! Zoro, follow me" Lucy said as Zoro and Lucy started running in a different direction. Soon later they met a dog that ate the key to open Luffy's cage but then they met the mayor that explained to them about the dogs backstory and took Zoro to a place so he could rest.

Then beast tamer Momochi came and destroyed the pet food shop.

"Wind magic: Arrow pistol!" Luffy yelled as an arrow of wind formed as he shot it hitting the giant dog. "You ate a devil fruit like captain buggy?" The beast tamer asked.

"Yeah, I ate the shunpo shunpo no mi…" Luffy began but was cut off by the beast tamer saying, "So it allows you to control the wind??" He said shocked.

"No. Not exactly. My devil fruit allows me to travel to different dimensions and have the properties of the people in that dimension!" Luffy said.

"WHAT?! That's impossible, there is no fruit like that in existence!" Beast tamer Momohi said.

"It is possible and now because of you that dog will never get its treasure back. And now because of that I'm gonna kick your ass!" Luffy declared as he ran up to the beast tamer with a nen infused punch with full strength knocking him out completely.

"Pirates are monsters, they destroy everything that anybody holds dear…" Nami said as she witnessed the pet food shop burn to the ground.

Luffy then walked up to her only for Nami to say, "Oh so you're a live pirate? I thought that lion would have ripped your head off and I wish he had so there would be one less pirate in the world! Maybe I should just kill you right now!" Nami yelled at Luffy.

"Hmph, as if you could ever kill me." Luffy said as he walked up to the dog and gave it the rest of the food from the store. "Sorry but that was all I could save for you that bastard lion ate all the rest." Luffy said to the dog leaving Nami shocked.

'He fought the lion… In order to save the dog's food?' Nami asked herself.
