Good Chaos! For the Boy-who-lived finally has someone who sees him as 'Just Harry' and not... The oh-so Conquerer of the Dark Lord.
"Gramps!" Came the excited cheer of one happy-go-lucky straw hat-wearing boy jumped from his sitting position on the bench.
"Okay okay, first off." A stern tone laced his voice, Luffy met his gaze with his curious eyes, were there gonna be new rules? Well, he won't even follow them but he could atleast listen to his Gramps.
"Here." The large man had pulled out a book from the paper bag and handed it over to his grandson. The book looked heavy but the inherited strength in the 'D' family couldn't handle.
"'Fantastic Beast And Where to Find Them'...?" Luffy had an eye brow raised as he raises his head and tilts it a little in confusion.
His Gramps only grinned, "Since you loved talking to animals and objects, you might as well have this. And now, a congratulatory gift." He hears a chirping noise and his Gramps reveals a cage with a dark-magenta feathered owl.
"OH WHAT THE?!" Luffy's thing hands almost dropped when he saw the owl, He hadn't seen anything like it. Yet, "SO COOL!" The owl flapped her wings, happy that it's new owner thought she was 'cool'.
"She's still young, so be careful with what you feed her. Always makes sure she's healthy."
"Okay!" Luffy chirped, grabbing the bird cage, carrying it with such ease even the owl was surprised.
"Don't worry Apis, you'll get used to it." Garp snorted when Luffy spoke to his Owl. The aging man opens the push and pull glass door to the shop wand of Ollivanders. ''Go on.'' Garp urge the young boy to enter when he had looked up, confused by his Gramps actions once more.
When Luffy entered, a boy that seemed to be shopping for his first wand, was standing in front o the receptions desk, trying his best to get a glimpse of the wand box in the shop keeper's hand.
The Shop keeper hurriedly made his way back to the front of his shop. ''Welcome, Young Mr. Monkey.'' The old man greeted the new customer. Making the boy turn around and give a hesitant polite smile, The straw hat wearing boy returned his smile with a happy grin.
''Just in time too, Mr. Potter is just about done.'' Potter? Huh, okay then. Potter-guy curiously looked over the wand that was handed to him.
Then, magic swirled around the room, a magic-generated breeze pushing his bangs out of the way and showed his scar. Luffy was taken back at the sight of the scar, the boy who got here first showed signs of verbal abuse and trust issues. Did the verbal abuse slightly turned up to physical? That can't be good.
''Curious...'' The shop keeper muttered, ''Very curious.'' The boy's widened emerald eyes started to stare at the innocent wood, ''I'm sorry... But what's curious?'' The wand was taken from him, probably to package it.
''I remember every wand I've ever sold, Mr. Potter. It so happens that the Phoenix, whose tail feather resides in your wand, gave another feather. Just one other.'' He stated.
''It is curious that you should be destined for this one. When it's brother, gave you that scar.'' The shop keeper had revealed that truth. Potter-guy's eyes widened again, then resolve made his brows furrow, again, shocking Luffy and it took a lot to surprise him. ''And who owned that wand?''
The old man frowned slightly, curiosity is a powerful thing, ''We do not speak his name. The wand chooses the wizard, Mr. Potter. It's not always clear why, but I think it is clear, that we can expect great things from you. After all, he-who-must-not-be-named did great things... Terrible, yes... But great..''
The tension and discomfort the Potter boy emitted bothered Luffy, the straw hat-wearing boy cleared his throat. Effectively making the two others turn to him, ''Now, Now. I did not mean to make you feel left out Mr. Monkey.'' The man chuckled, walking back to the midst of wand boxes at the back of his shop.
Skipping in place like an excited child, Luffy almost forgot something.
"Hi! My name's Luffy D. Monkey!"
"Hello L-Luffy... My name is Harry... Harry Potter." The hesitant smile became a happy one.
