They stay friends even if the wizarding world chooses to place Harry on a pedastool.
Harry giggled at the random yet funny story that his new friend had been speaking off, his name was Luffy, he had a straw hat hanging behind his back, black hair that was darker than his own, round chocolate brown eyes, healthy tan skin, a sleeveless vest and blue denim shorts and sandals. He didn't forget his accepting wide grin.
His wand was 12'' Unicorn hair core and Black Walnut wood wand. Mr. Ollivander commented about the Unicorn wands being the most loyal, faithful and hardest wand to turn to the Dark Arts. Black Walnut wood being picky of its Ideal Witch or Wizard who has good instincts and powerful insight, Black Walnut was a handsome wood but one of the hardest to master. In the hands of a wizard or witch who is honest, self-aware, and sincere. It becomes one of the most impressive wand of all, who has quite the flair with all types of charmwork.
Oh and Harry can understand why the Black Walnut wand chose Luffy. Honest to a comeplete bluntness, sincere in what he does(which he learned was therapy), and self-aware of his weaknesses. (A/N Harry doesn't know he can actually do it himself but Luffy depends on people to show he trust them.)
"Thanks a bunch, Mister! She's so cool!" Harry swears there was stars in his round eyes, Mr. Ollivander was very pleased that atleast one wizard knows their wands were sentinent.
A familiar half-giant lightly knocked on the glass frame of the Wand shop, The Boy who lived turns around to see the Keeper of Keys and Ground of Hogwarts carrying a large bird cage with a beautiful snow-white feathered Owl.
His mouth turned to an 'o' shape that slowly became smaller, amazed and charmed by the beautiful feathers of his new companion. "Is that...?" A muffled voice came from the half-giant while another man that Harry assumed to be Luffy's supposed 'Gramps' howled in laughter.
They both exit the shop, Luffy giving more galleons needed for the wand, It was apparently to say 'sorry' for the mess he and the straw hat boy caused. Hagrid kneeled down almost to Luffy's eye level.
"Blimey, you are Luffy. Your brothers were right when they said you're quite the cutie." Luffy puffed air into his cheeks, mumbling about 'brothers already embarrassing me even if i haven't gotten to school yet' or something like that.
"Hagrid... You know Luffy?" Harry asked in curiosity.
"Well not personally, but I'm friends with his older brothers. Right now is their third year at Hogwarts, Oh yoh wouldn't imagine how happy they would be when they find out you got invited Luffy!" Hagrid whispered to Harry before turning back to Luffy who had lit up at the mention of his brothers being happy.
"HAHAHA! I suppose you won't mind looking after this little tyke for me, won't you Hagrid?" Luffy's Gramps joined in, patting the said 'little tyke' on the head.
"No, at all. And plus, it seems to me that Harry here, had already made friends with your youngest grandson." Hagrid gently nudged the Boy who lived to move in front of him.
"Oh is that right? Well, It's an honor to meet you Harry Potter." Luffy's Gramps raised an eye brow, the boy was fidgeting mess and a nervous wreck, nothing his Grandson can't handle though. Luffy looked up and smiled in amusement at his Gramps, "Don't worry Harry, Gramps is always like this when i make new friends." He grins reassuringly.
"Listen boy, You might've survived the Killing Curse but I and his older brothers will make sure you won't survive our trials." Luffy couldn't help but sweat drop at the threatening tone and intimidating aura his Gramps was emitting. Poor Harry was shaking.
Wait... "Gramps, did you just say he survived the Killing Curse?" Luffy's eyes went wide, his head snapping up.
"You don't know?" Hagrid and Harry said in unison, the Boy who lived was washed up in relief while the half-giant looked concerened. Everyone knows the story about the Boy who lived, muggle-born and half-blood alike.
"Ah. You stupid grandson! I always told you about the Boy who lived, how ond night, you-know-who had entered the humble home of the Potters, massacred the parents while the baby survived." Luffy's eye brows rose as the shorter version of the story progressed, his gaze slowly turning to his new friend, who looked down.
He let out a 'hmp!' and puffed his cheeks in annoyance, like that would change his view on his new friend! "Doesn't matter! Harry is still Harry, and we're still friends! Boy who lived or not." Luffy stated as he stomped to Harry's side and snatched his hand to hold it, fingers intertwined.
He glares at the older Monkey D. as if to challenge his opinion, because in the 'D' family household, you never question Roger's or Luffy's opinion.
"Alright, I get it." Garp rolled his eyes playfully.
"Anyways, Harry. I got you a present!"
"Oh cool! You also have an Owl, what's her name? This girl's name is Apis!"
"Wait, hold on-"
Only the real ones remember Apis.
Yep, their friendship is valuable, so shut.
Again, Fred and Ace live. No Weaselys are dying on my watch, especially not the twins.
