Draco Malfoy was the Malfoy and Black heir.
He was a proper Heir, an Honourable son, and a pure-blood. And this year, The Boy who lived will be entering Hogwarts. What was great was that they'll be in the same year!
If his calculations were correct...
He was in a clothing shop, getting his measurements and buying his fresh and new robes. Then, another boy stands beside him, probably to also accept his new uniform.
"Mh, Who're you?" The boy had a blunt tone, an innocent smile on his lips, ugh. The wonder and hope is something Draco Malfoy wasn't used to being given, it was always looks of expectations. To meet someone who looks at him as an equal, a human being, a person with emotions.
"Draco. Draco Malfoy." The blond heir stated with genuine pride, making the midnight-haired boy smile even wider.
"Luffy D. Monkey is my name!" His clenched fist pump up in the air excitedly, Draco's grey eyes widened slightly but hid it.
This boy was probably the grandchild of the infamous Muggle-born, Garp D. Monkey, who fought in the Wizard War, giving him the title 'Hero of The Wizarding World' for the amount of Death Eaters, spies, traitors, and Boggarts he had defeated or caught.
And the son of a well-respected Auror who was rumoured to be one of the members of the Order of The Phoenix. Dragon of Order, or Dragon D. Monkey.
This boy seemed to not be aware of his heritage, but his heritage alone could make his Father, Lucius Malfoy, not judge him for being friends with the straw hat-wearing boy.
They chatted, waiting for their guardians, showed off their extra gifts and their wands. Luffy had a Black Walnut wand with a Unicorn Hair core, quite the combination. His Grandfather, whose name is Garp(Draco silently cheered because he was right), had given him a book about the creatures of the Wizarding world.
Luffy was not aware of the Story about the Boy who lived, and quite frankly, did not care. Which was weird but very understandable for a half-blood that was probably raised in the muggle world.
And now? Well... He didn't get the boy's address so they could be temporary pen pals...
"Master Draco, Dobby has found a letter for you in the mail." One of the House Elves, Dobby, popped out of no where and handed a letter to him.
Draco dismissed him, opening the letter...

It's me, Luffy! I managed to get your address through Gramps! Remember those pens i showed you? There in this letter!
The blond Malfoy Heir did notice the envelope had a bit of weight. There were 10 muggle pens, 10 muggle pens, HOW IS HE SUPPOSED TO HIDE THIS FROM FATHER?!
Also, I can't wait to see you at Hogwarts! I'll write my address here too so we can write to eachother for a while!
