The Winter Soldier is trekking through D.C. trying to hide and find some more out about himself, and maybe change what he's made of himself.

Last minute holiday shopping is always hectic. Doubly so if the Winter Soldier is tagging along.

Once upon a time, Bucky tried to confess his love to Steve. It didn't go well. Stucky fill for the kink meme. Disclaimer: I don't own the Avengers, or any other Marvel thingummies, nor am I making money from this.

He wants to explain to Steve that he hopes that someday he'll find the right gal and he won't feel constantly sick to his stomach about what he is and what he wants. That he hopes someday he'll be normal. (He doesn't know how to say any of this without telling Steve that he is in love with him, so stupid in love that he can't think sometimes.)

Steve has become used to dealing with people breaking into his home on a case-by-case basis. Sometimes they're just petty thieves who don't know who lives there. Sometimes, they're the ex-Winter Soldier.

When the Howling Commandos are captured by Hydra, everyone expects them to take Steve away to experiment on but the Hydra science division is much more interested in Sergeant James Barnes.
