Author's Notes: Thanks everyone for the initial support, i really didn't expect to gain followers and even a review for just that undercooked prologue, it really inspires me to keep going! As for the rest of the fic, i do intend on sticking to cannon for the most part, but Lola's attitude will certainly be what some people consider "over the top" even for a character like her, i will try to not make her too OOC though, as this fic will definitely be a slowburn by taking elements from the show and some free liberties to character development.

Let me also comment on the structure of the story:

I will use Italic to express character's thoughts, 1st person descriptions (Yes, i'm planning on doing character P.O.V later on) and the overall structure of the story within the story.

I will use bold only to accentuate or highlight some strong or plot relevant words.

Chapter 1: Attention.

3 hours had passed since the little "incident", while the white haired boy had already finished reorganizing his extensive comic collection and was once again going to Lucy's room to finish his "assistance", Lola was sitting in her fancy wardrobe, watching what she could only describe as… perfection, as she looked at herself in the mirror while brushing her golden hairs and applying make-up en masse to her features. But right now, she wasn't really trying to improve upon the masterpiece that was her face, more so than she was looking for a way to distract herself, as she was heavily struggling from the idea of Lincoln not even passing by to apologize for yelling at her.

- He'd rather spend his time helping that loser that making things up with ME! – Lola thought bitterly as she heard his footsteps skipping her door and going straight into Lucy's – Why won't he realize that i'm right here! – Lola kept thinking, the strength of her frustration reaching a critical point when she realized that the brush that she was holding shattered under the intensity of her grasp, effectively putting an end to her make up session.

Unable to control the situation, Lola decided it was best to just try to take a long beauty nap, hopefully, by the time she was up, her twin sister would already be there, and she would have someone to talk about and distract herself, even if it meant having to indulge on her revoltingly disgusting adventures with mud and whatever other "substances" could be present in a farm, for as much as she loved Lana, she would always find her twin's ways to be unfitting and unorthodox for a composed and elegant princess like herself.

That wasn't just Lana thought… Lately, she had found the ways of most of her family to be… quite undeserving of her attention, to say the least, ever since Lori, the only person that she could of have considered level headed (safe for a certain albino boy), left for college, she had even started to think of her own father, Lynn Loud Sr., to be quite… unreliable… at times.

This ensured that she would remain mostly isolated from her family's business, instead deciding to focus on her dream of becoming a pageant queen, while everybody else focused on their daily lives outside, Leni working at the mall, Luna on her concerts, Luan on her "Funny business" shows, Lynn preparing her baseball and basketball teams for the many tournaments going on at the time, Lana on whatever dirty activity she might be up to, or just fixing Flip's ice cream machine for free for the hundred time, Lisa on some scientific convention and Lily with her Mother at her boring job. Which effectively meant that Lola would remain at home, perfecting every single trick, pose, and soulless answer to whatever shallow question they'd ask her at pageants, only to be occasionally helped by Leni going shopping for some discount dresses, or by her mom by driving her to some faraway pageants where her reliable princess car couldn't take her.

And then there was Lincoln… Even though lately he had been hanging a lot more with his friends at middle school or just going to McBride's house, the albino boy, to his credit, has always evenly divided his attention between all of his sister's, assisting them at even the pettiest of requests, from helping Lori to fix her relationship with that Santiago boy, to helping Lily understand that crayons are NOT to be eaten. Lola knew that she was not the exception, for she remembered that Lincoln, as a then 11 year old boy, had no business whatsoever in knowing about "girly" stuff like fashion and etiquette, Lola was well aware of that, which made it all the more shocking for the then 6 year old girl when Lincoln not only offered himself to be her coach, but also took his sweet time into truly learning about the art, down to the point where he legitimately started taking care of his sister's appearance, doing an admittedly impressive job at that, and became quite knowledgeable of fashion trends and seasonal costumes.

Yes, as Lola would later find out, it was done with the intent of helping her win a pageant so that he could go to an amusement park, and he certainly didn't hesitate in replacing her with Lana the moment Lola became injured in the process, but, having already forgiven them both for the stunt, Lincoln did remain by her side after the matter, assisting her and giving advice from time to time, advice which was demonstrated to be quite useful, as she found it even easier to win and retain her, at the time, perfect streak against that insufferable Lindsey Sweetwater and her group of idol wannabes. Heck, even when she did lose, by going into major competition with girls way above her age and level of experience, Lincoln, alongside Lori, both remained by her side and encouraged her to try again and to keep her positive attitude.

- ~My Little Princess~ - Lola giggles to herself by remembering the exact words that Lincoln used that day to lift her spirit up, words that encouraged her to keep competing, but little did Lincoln realize the profound impact that said words had caused on her, for she had acquired yet another reason for competing, something that she was still not ready to admit for herself and that, even at her very young age, knew was probably not something that she should be thinking.

She was competing, for his undivided attention…
