Chapter 5 The fall of a Tyrant
I can finally see the port city of the land of the waves in the distance, our new home. My wolves arrive next to me, "remember your objectives, any rogues need to be reported to me immediately, SKATTER"
They take off into the water wearing cloaks and their new masks, as I ride into the port. "You think you can do it kid, free a country" Hiro asks "stick around for a week and maybe you'll see" I tell him with a cocky smirk "Haha, I just might"

We finally drop anchor and I hop off as fast as possible, a goddamn month at sea, never again. I offer pleasantries to Hiro and the crew before I'm off to explore my village. It's as bad as I was expecting, there's homeless people and dealers on every corner, hookers and damaged houses, and thugs patrolling the streets harassing anybody that catches their eye. Its fucking revolting, I'm glad I decided to come hear five more years of this suffering for these people is to cruel.
I arrive at a carpenter's shop seeing the man carving a wooden statue. "Excuse me sir, I'm looking for the bridge builder named Tazuna, do you know where I can find him?" the older man looks up with anger in his eyes."I don't know why you thugs think you can make anyone do as you please, Tazuna's a good man, leave him alone", I draw Mangata in and instant chopping the sculpture into ten blocks stacked horizontally into a row. "I assure you sir, me and my people are no thugs, where is he I have business to discuss and time is of the essence"
The man pales and gives me directions to Tazuna's house, I walk down the road following the man's directions. I arrive in front of one of nicest houses I've seen near the treeline of the village. I walk and knock on the door and a pretty woman answers the door suspicion clear on her faces as she eyes Mangata in its sheath
"Hello, what can I do for you" the lady asks, "Hi, my names Kenshin Kaguya, I'm here to see Tazuna for a business proposition, the carpenter down the road said he'd be home around this time" I tell her, "Ok let me get him for you it should just take a moment" she tells me.
I wait for a minute or so before something catches my attention, I smile "hey man, It's not a good idea to sneak behind a shinobi, liable to lose your arm friend" I turn around to see a man with a crossed shaped scar go completely white from being caught feet away with a bat raised. "Here catch, I come in peace" I tell the man with a smile as I throw him Mangata. "Please get Tazuna" I tell the man who goes to complete the order
He finally walks out of the house, "what do you want, I have no time for Gato's games" Tazuna says. Damn not drunk this late, color me impressed. "Me and my associates have a proposition for you and wave regarding the tyrant Gato, would you like to hear it" I ask him. His eyes widen momentarily before he scoffs. "What can you do boy, this is all a farce" he says,
"May I have my sword" I asked the scarred fisherman, he hands it over immediately "hope you guys don't like that tree"
"Lightning style- Consecutive slash" I send out six slashes completely dicing the tree in under a second. "This is what I can do" I sheath my sword and turn around to see them looking at me with stunned awe, even the little boy looking out the window seal.
"Now that I finally have your attention, will you call a meeting with your village leaders? There is much to discuss" I ask the man, he sighs heavily. "Follow me, Kaiza go get Bunta and Kaito, tell them to meet in my house within the hour" Tazuna says
"Honestly, how much do you want?" Tazuna asks, "A home, with barracks and a training facility" he turns around so fast I could barely blink. "Why would you want to live here, there's nothing here, just a backwater village" he asks completely confused
"Is that really all you see? Would you like to know what I see?" I ask the man, I get a nod "I see the greatest trade city in the world, a few years of work, many contracts and we could be looking at the premier trade hub for all five great nations" I tell him, his eyes widen thinking of possibilities, "and the Crescent Wolves wish to be the protectors of this land" I tell him honestly
"Do you really think you and your organization can do this" Tazuna asks, "I'm sure of it we can talk numbers when your people arrive"
Just then two villagers walk in with Kaiza,"Nice to meet you, Bunta and Kaito. My name's Kenshin Kaguya. I'm the leader of the Crescent Wolves" I greet the men.
Me and Tazuna fill them in on the situation. I find out that the big guy named Bunta is forman at the docks and the small lanky guy named Kaito is the major merchant here. With Tazuna the lead builder and Kaiza the lead fisherman here, every leader of this small village is here
"This is the situation, one way or another Gato and his men die by the end of the week. I have my men stationed in critical positions to topple his empire" I tell them "In regards to the plan to turn this little village into a major trading hub, we'll need to send men out to hire and offer merchants to travel to this land" I go into my inventory and pull out a large briefcase and hand it to Tazuna.
"What's in here?" he asks, "30 million ryo, rebuild and expand, hire blacksmiths, farmers, get everyone involved. There will be more in the near future but the wolves must deal with Gato first" I tell the stunned men "Kid you realize this is a fortune right, you could have lived on this for the rest of your life" Tazuna says, "what's a life in stagnation my friend" I say with small smile
"I think that wraps up today's meeting, I need to confer with my men to see what they found out. I'll leave the expansion and rebuilding up to Tazuna, Kaito your responsible for send out messages to your fellow merchants trying to get them to come the first ten that decide to stay and set up roots here will never pay taxes on goods" I tell them
"Bunta, without risking yourselves I want you to discover how many ships are under Gatos employ and what kind of men they are, it will be up to you who lives or dies out of them, but there ships will be seized by the wolves" I say before saying my goodbyes
"Report Kimimaro" I tell the roof, "approximately 50 armed guards patrolling around the city at all times, no rouges spotted thus far" Kimimaro tells me off to the side, bouncing his voice off the walls.
"For the next 3 days we'll all be separated, make camp in the forest, train as hard as you can in between your patrols" I tell him before leaving.
WITH THE WAVE LEADERS
"Tazuna be honest, is this boy legit can he really do what he's saying" Bunta asks, "we have no real choice my friend, if he takes out Gato he and his men will be seen as heroes to this land, he's offering us an alliance to join our country as its protectors and contributing as soon as he stepped foot on our land" Tazuna answers
"Kaiza what do you think, we can trust him" asked Kaito, "ever since I've arrived to this land, I could see the beauty in it, it may be what some call backwater. But I honestly can see the dream for this land that the boy does, and I believe in it" he tells them
"I guess it's decided them, never thought I'd take orders from a kid a third of my age" Tazuna says with a hearty laugh
"Ok Kaiza, you and your men are in charge of clear out the forest 4 miles out starting from this edge of the village" Kaiza nods and leaves to gather his men
"Kaito, you need to place several orders with our smiths, and farmers. Then send out those messages for traders with the deal Kenshin is offering, keep it all on the hush, we don't Gato or his men to get word of what we are doing" Tazuna tells him
"I'll prepare the people, get everyone ready for the revolution, no longer will our people deal with oppression I'll stake my life on this goal of ours" with that everyone leaves to go complete their objectives
3 DAYS LATER…
I'm running through the trees searching for Kimimaro's camp, I find it about a mile out from the outskirts of the village. I jump down from the foliage, and he's out of the tent in a second bone sword at the ready. "Calm down bro, no reason to be so jumpy" I tell him with a smile.
Jisen arrives seconds later with a frown on his face,"trouble?" I ask him. "No a full on shit show, the wielder of Nuibari, Kushimaru Kuriarare B class 23 million, and Ameyuri Ringo the thunder goddess, wielder of the twin swords Kiba, A rank 32 million. Both under Gato's hire"
"GOD FUCKING DAMMIT" I yell. It takes me moments to compose myself. Why are they alive, there suppose to be fucking dead. Gato was never shown to ever have ninja guards other than the demon brothers and Zabuza.
Kimimaro has grown a lot since we left the village. I have to believe in him. He's almost jonin class himself, and along with Jisens experience they'll be a flawless team.
"New plan, you and Kimimaro will ambush Kushimaru, Kill him or subvert him, whatever you guys feel most capable of. Stay covert, never remove your masks, he's not known to use much ninjustsu so i recommend Jisen engage in close combat while you Kimimaro offer support and backup. Under no circumstance do you allow him to activate the hidden mist jutsu. Kimimaro It will be completely your responsibility to disrupt the jutsu every time he attempts to use it" I tell them.
"I will fight Ringo myself, I'm not A rank but I'm well fluid in lightning release. I'm the only one of us who can face her in single combat. I'll try to win as fast as I can, but this plan is hinged on you guys defeating Kushimaru. Do you both agree with my plan?" They both nod in response.
"This has just destroyed our timeframe, if Gato gets word of his guards going missing, our plan is fucked. This needs to be done tonight, we'll execute the old plan the coming morning" I tell my companions
"Jisen where can I find Ringo around midnight" I ask, "she trains in the forest 4 miles south of Gatos stronghold every night from 10 to 2, if there's any chance you'll catch her it will be there" Jisen informs me.
"Thank you, I need to go get ready. I'll leave Kushimaru to you guys. I believe in you both good luck" I say with a smile before I flicker away.

This will be my trial by fire, one of the legendary seven ninja swordsmen. Probably almost as strong as Zabuza, master of the lightning element. I strap on my cloak, and gear. Then for the first time I don my mask, 'staus'

I take my first step and the world blurs, I shoot out into the trees at full speed. "Mass water clone jutsu", I summon a hundred clones taking 10,000CP.
"Separate into five teams and appoint one leader from each squad" I order, five clones arrive next to me
"Team A, your goal is diversion and traps, wear her down as much as possible. Team B, open combat, last as long as possible, while forcing her to expend as much chakra as possible. Team C, Long range support, Team D and Team E, will be in reserve. Your objective is when Team B falls, you will surround and overwhelm. We're about a half mile away from her known location be ready"
We arrive near the coast where a secluded waterfall lye , "you can come out now, I sensed you when you were about 500 yards out" Ringo says from the bottom of the waterfall, Kiba raised and glazing with chakra. 'Observe' AMEYURI RINGO LVL95
Team A attacks immediately 50 paper bomb kunai fly striking the ground where Ringo was, now she's on the other side of the river where Team B lies and waits. They jump out immediately, swords drawn surrounding Lady Ringo.
They strike out swords at the ready but Ringo's already going through hand signs, "Lightning style-Thunderclap" she says as she raises her blades and sends lightning raining down on the clones destroying them all.
Team C sends every projectile they have from the trees to cover the ambush team's approach. If she can't weave signs then she'll have to use kenjutsu to defend herself when the ambush team attacks.
'Mass water clone jutsu' I summon fifty more clones, "bolster the ambush team and completely overwhelm her, under no circumstance should she be allowed to weave signs" they go and join the melee.
Almost a hundred clones have surrounded her and she's still getting pelted by shuriken and kunai, she's had no chance to seek cover since the fight began. They swarm her, and what follows is a genuine slaughter.
The clones have the numerical advantage yes, but for every wound she gets 5 clones fall. The battle has been going on for about ten minutes now before she starts to waver, over half the clones have fallen but she's riddled with cuts and bruises, the long range team has not let up. Everytime she attempts to turn for the treeline she's pelted with projectiles.
I ready myself as my clones make the final charge towards her. The diversion team has joined the assault team and now they number 60 men. She'll have to divert all of her attention to them when they join together. It's time I struck.
'Shikotsu Style-Dual Armament ' I summoned forth my bloodline, but this time I pushed it to my absolute limit, two gauntlets on my hands and a pair of clawed boots on my feet.
I draw Mangata in a reverse grip, crouch down and wait for that moment where she staggers. Ten clones swing as one she drops low the dodge the blows and kill them all in a single stroke, she isn't ready however for the rock behind her to transform into my clones and slash her unprotected back.
"There" I force all my control in lightning into my boots and blast off faster then I have ever moved. I arrive at her position in a quarter of a second, she doesn't notice me she's still reeling after the slash to her back.
I attack, taking her arm with me to the other end of the waterfall. She screams loud and painful, it takes her longer than I expected to zero in on my position.
I'm standing there, blood all over me with her arm clenched in my hand, one half of Kiba still there. "Who the fuck are you" she screams at me.
"An enemy of Gato, and you are his strongest soldier, Lady Ringo. I apologize for my tactics but this is the ninja world, and I had no choice you're stronger than me" I take my mask off, giving her a smile. I've reached my time limit.
"Your just a fucking kid, why the hell are you even here?" Ameyuri asks, "I'd guess the same reason as you, Lady Ringo" I say, holding up my armored bone gauntlet.
"A fucking Kaguya,I hope you're ready to finish this boy, I won't go down easy. Don't even try using that sword she's very possessive of who her master is" she tells me before wrapping the stump that was her left arm.
"I wouldn't be so sure my lady, I like to think I'm very connected to me element" I say as I pry the sword from her arm, she pales when the sword lights the entire clearing with pure white lightning.
"That's just bullshit, you're a goddamn monster. " RIngo tells me. "I apologize to cut this conversation short but I must hurry" I tell her as I draw Mangata in my other hand and emblaze it as well.
The final battle has begun. I have the projectile team leave the tree's and surround us both with the remains of the assault team before I strike.
I jump into the air, "Lightning style-Dual continuous slash" I send 20 chakra blades onto her position, but with only one arm she's struggling to fend them all.
But courtesy of her skill, only one lands across her chest. When the jutsu hit, my clones struck, hundreds of kunai and shuriken struck her, one after the other hit home, but she did not fall and continued to bat kunai away.
However with all her skill she couldn't withstand my next attack. I sheath Mangata and drop low holding Kiba in a reverse grip. "Lightning Style-flash" A jutsu of my own creation. Lightning courses down all my bone armor before I body flicker to her location. Her eyes widen until my blade takes a chunk of her side.
She drops immediately, Kiba clangs to the ground next to her. I arrive in front of her where she snarls, "get it over with" she tells me.
I pull out a wolf mask in one hand and my blade in the other, "choose my lady, family or death" I tell her with a passionate smile.
"You take my fucking arm, my sword, then you have the gall to ask me to join you. Are you fucking insane" Ameyuri tells me.
"The alpha must protect his pack, you would have killed my men so I had to stop you. It was nothing personal, but I still offer you this choice. You're the strongest fighter I've ever met, you would be a great asset to join our pack. So decide my lady" I tell her, my smile never leaves my face.
She seems conflicted, debating it in her head. "What of Kushimaru?" she asks me. "My men have been instructed to offer him the same choice if possible" I tell her
She finally decides and grabs the mask, I smile "Welcome to the Crescent Wolves pack Lady Ringo. I immediately unseal the medit in my inventory, patching all of her wounds. I grab our weapons before picking her up and taking off into the tree's.
"What the hell do you think you're doing, put me down" she orders me. I smile as I race through the trees towards the hotel, "An injured woman should never be forced to run, when there's a man who'll carry her" I tell her flirtatiously before she punches me in the mouth. "Yeah I know, it sounded way cooler in my head" I laugh I don't notice the small blush that creeps onto her cheeks.

Ten minutes later before we arrive at the hotel, I leave Ameyuri in bed and place her swords on the nightstand. I'm about to leave to meet up with Kimimaro and Jisen before Ameyuri stops me. "Wait, take Kiba, she's your sword now" Ringo tells me, sadness in her eyes.
I look at Mangata, the sword that's been with me since I've started this journey. It's never failed me. I take out the sword and hand it to Ameyuri."Its name is Mangata the sword that reflects the moon from the water, use it well" I tell her before strapping each sword across my back in an X formation. 'Observe' 'The ThunderBlades Kiba, Rank Legendary, effect +50 to all stats.
My first piece of legendary equipment, the effect is awesome, it'll easily be my most powerful weapon for a long time.
"Rest, I'll be back tomorrow" I tell her before bolting back out the window. I race to Kimimaro's camp hoping for their mission to be a success as well.
"I arrive in minutes to find Kushimaru tied up, I see Jisen off to the side patching himself up. I smile with pride showing through as I see that Kimimaro doesn't have an injury on him, "good job guys, what's the situation?" I ask them.
"The battle was quick and simple, I took the brunt of the attacks while Kimimaro took him out from a distance as per your orders boss" Jisen reports.
"Has he been offered the choice?" I ask my companions, "No we figured you'd do it" Kimimaro answers. I nod, stepping before Kushimaru.
I take out the mask and Kiba,"choose Kushimaru, death or the pack" I ask, his eyes widened when he sees I'm now the owner of Kiba. His only response is "death, I refuse to a life of servitude". I nod before sticking my blade through his chest puncturing his heart. I take out a scroll to seal his body immediately.
"You guys have one hour before we siege Gato's stronghold, prepare well" I say with a smile
GATO"S STRONGHOLD
We're station in the trees above the mansion, "remember Jisen when I release the flare, detonate every bomb in the area. Kill anything that moves no prisoners" I get a nod before I take off into the compound.
Any guards who have tried to get in my way are dealt with swiftly before they can even react, cut down mercilessly. Heads and arms are flying, nobody will get in my way now that I've come this far.
I see his chamber with wide oak doors, I cut them down to find him sitting at his desk fear clear on his face. "Stop, hold on, we can come to a de…" his head rolls onto the ground before he can finish.
I bust out the window and fire the flare gun through it. Fire, carnage, destruction descends on the unsuspecting bastards under the dead bastards command. We spent an hour cutting down anything that survived the explosions.

Not one person survived the night, we left the mansion smoking before returning to the village masks and cloaks on. We have to address our people, so we got to look the part.
We arrive minutes later to the townspeople all out in the town square viewing the smoke coming from the direction of Gato's former base. I jump onto the nearest rooftop
"PEOPLE OF WAVE, GATO AND HIS MEN ARE DEAD, YOU ARE NO LONGER UNDER HIS MISGUIDED RULE" I yell as I toss Gatos severed head on to the ground.
My three wolves arrive next to me, I go through hand signs 'summoning jutsu' I intone as I summon ten Direwolves to join us.
"WE ARE THE CRESCENT WOLVES AND THE LAND OF WAVES IS UNDER OUR PROTECTION" I roar releasing Kiba sending lightning into the sky.
