Second week of November Fenton works saturday
"MOM" Danny runs into the kitchen startling Maddie "EMBERLYNN SENT ME A LETTER" holding the mail in his hand seeing he was coming downstairs for lunch. He saw the mailman drop the letters into the mail slot in the door. As Danny picked it up he his name on a letter from Emberlynn.
"That's nice sweetie" Maddie giggles. Turning to the lab door seeing Jack rubbing his head he looks at Maddie wondering what is the commotion. Banging his head on the table hearing Danny yell. "Letter from Emberlynn".
"Ahh" Jack nods as he sees Danny trying to read the letter he chuckles. Taking a seat at the table seeing Maddie made grilled cheese for lunch, Jack notices something odd about the mail. Looking at the letters he raises an eye and looks at Maddie. "Did you subscribe for this?" ask Jack.
Maddie turns around and sees a magazine about parental guidance. Maddie blinks and shakes her head. Jack raises an eye but soon both parents see their oldest child walking into the kitchen with a smile.
"Jazz" Maddie and Jack calls her name with a sigh.
"What?" blink Jazz. Seeing her parents calling her and staring at her. Hearing Danny reading a letter also having trouble reading a word "Mountain" Jazz rolls her eyes seeing Danny was trying to sound out the word.
"Did you subscribe to this?" Jack holds the magazine up in the air but soon found it gone from his hand. Blinking he sees Jazz opening it but soon it was gone from her hands by Maddie making Jazz shriek in terror.
"NOOO" whine Jazz.
"Jazz. We are getting tired of this attitude. This being right attitude you are seven years old. You are a child" groan Maddie. Shaking her head seeing Elena told her to be firm with Jazz a bit more. Seeing how she is trying to be more independent but also thinking she is right all the time.
"You're mother is right Jasmine. We got a call from your teacher saying you corrected her on a sentence in front of the class. The principal won't mark it down on your permanent record but this attitude needs to stop" Jack glares at Jazz who folds her arms.
"Fine" turning around with her arms folded she walks back to her room to play her flute. Before Maddie spoke they heard the doorbell. Danny quickly got up from his chair and ran to the door with Jack right behind him.
Once Danny opens the door he stares at two adults. A male and female wearing suits. Jack is right behind Danny blinking at the two people.
"Afternoon can I help you?" ask Jack.
"Jack Fenton?" the male ask. Jack nods wondering who these two people are. "My name is agent Fox Melder and this is my partner Dana Skolly". Watching the two pull out some badges "F.B.I can we have a chat inside with your wife in private please?".
"Cool" Danny eyes widen staring at the badges "It's like in the movies and on t.v".
Jack chuckles and ruffles Danny hair making him whine while Melder laughs and Skolly giggles. "Danny go to your room and practice your guitar". Danny nods as he turns around and runs up the stairs.
Jack passes by to let the agents in his home. Than Maddie walks into the living room hearing the last sentence Melder said. Staring at the two seeing them always looking over their shoulder like someone is following them. She walks to the window and sees no one.
"No one was behind us. Well not alive" Skolly spoke.
Maddie turns around and looks at Skolly. Melder sighs and runs his hand through his hair while Jack points to the couch as both agents take a seat.
"Not alive. You mean a ghost?" said Jack taking a seat on the single couch.
Melder nods. Skolly takes a deep breath and nods.
"What happen?" ask Maddie.
Melder chuckles and shakes his head still having trouble believing what he saw. "It was a week ago"
FLASH BACK Arkansas Snorttoon
Located seven hours west of Spittoon in rugged mountain terrain area. The two F.B.I agents got messages of strange activities happening in this small town of rednecks roughly of a population of two thousands. But what peak their curiosity the most was about two hikers. As both agents took a flight and soon a rental jeep taking the seven hour drive. They pack their camping gear and to check the area.
"I don't like this, Melder" Skolly turning to her partner who is looking at a map. "How do two hikers just appear out of nowhere in front of the hospital telling us a large wolf protected them from something-". Skolly shakes her head thinking the hikers were hallucinating. Heat exhaustion or severe dehydration.
But seeing they were fine and little banged up with a few scrapes. The doctors gave them a clean bill of health and tested them for any kind of narcotic's in their system which none was found.
Melder turns to his partner with a serious look "I also want to know that as well Skolly, but don't you find it strange?". Skolly raises an eye at her partner who looks towards the small hill. "A large wolf standing on his legs. A skin walker like the native American legends? Protecting humans while other humans green and decaying attacking them?. I find this very odd. But!".
Skolly rolls her eyes "Perhaps the location they were in had some methane gas or toxic fumes. Part of this land here is under federal land, protective wilderness. No drilling, mining or logging is allowed" stated Skolly.
Melder stops and turns to his partner nodding his head. "That's why the BUT I find it strange. Federal land, protective wilderness".
Skolly raises an eye but nods as both agents camp for the night. Melder looks at his watch seeing it's half past ten. Looking up to the stars he smiles thinking about the infinite possibilities of life?
"You should get some sleep we been hiking all day it's going to take us another day or so to reach their campsite" spoke Skolly.
Melder groans and nods.
Next Day afternoon
As both agents stop to eat lunch. Melder refilling his canteen from the river notices something in the mud. "Skolly" looking up to his partner walking to him, Melder points to the foot print in the mud making her eyes widen. "That's a big wolf" nods Melder.
Skolly nods her head seeing the foot prints. Looking around she points to the others seeing how space apart they are. Crouching and looking at it she shakes her head thinking it's not possible.
"It's like he's no it's walking on it's hind legs like us?" Skolly turns to Melder nodding his head. Looking at the river following it upstream seeing where it's going he opens the map and points to an old abandon mine. Seeing they took the hikers map they are following the same route they took.
"Their camp is at least two miles away from the mine" Melder folds the map back up. Looking at Skolly "To reach their camp it's going to be in the morning".
"Than lets go" said Skolly.
Few hours later
With both agents continuing walking to the hikers camp site, Melder stops and hears something. Looking at Skolly who looks confuse she looks up to the sky wondering if a plane or jet is nearby. But seeing nothing she wonders what is making that noise.
"Their is no base of any military here for hundreds of miles" spoke Skolly.
Melder laughs "Federal land right? Or protective land of what?" seeing his partner looking confuse. Both agents continue to walk towards the hikers camp as Melder begins to speak. "So we have an old abandon gold mine supposedly ran dry back in the late eighteen hundreds."
"You think this mine has a connection?" ask Skolly.
Melder shrugs his shoulders "Before we left I spoke to a few native American's. They say a skin walker or a wolf that walks like us stands guard of this land. Banishing evil spirits from the land."
Skolly rolls her eyes "And you believe them!".
Melder turns to Skolly with a serious look "Those hikers told us a large wolf standing on it's legs protected them from what looked like green humans decaying". Melder sighs but looks towards the path. "Maybe radiation, maybe something else. But it's our job".
Skolly sighs "Add another case to the U Files".
THAT NIGHT
As they look up to the night sky, Skolly looks at Melder with a sigh. "Never really believed in the super natural. Being raised Catholic you were told about heaven and hell. When those hikers told us about the decaying humans. I began to think the dead is walking again".
Melder listens to Skolly and nods "Maybe it's not the right dead. The hikers were throwing things at them and it went right through them". Melder wonders if someone was playing a trick on them and if they are why? What's out here to hide it from everyone.
"Smoke and mirrors?" ask Skolly. Turning on her stomach and tucked in her sleeping bag she lets out a small yawn and looks at the fire right outside their large tent.
"Maybe!" Melder moves closer to the fire while staying inside the tent. "But you will need a really big mirror to-". Melder stops talking and blinks. Skolly looks at her partner wondering what is wrong.
"What?" moving closer she turns her head to see where Melder is staring. Blinking she shakes her head and blinks a few times "Is part of the night sky glowing green and purple?.
Melder nods as he pulls out the map he sees the location the other hikers mark with landscape. Looking at the glowing green and purple night sky he turns to Skolly who shakes her head not wanting to hear this. Shaking her head seeing Melder smile she groans.
"Please tell me it's not towards that location" groan Skolly.
Melder laugh "I won't say it is than".
MORNING
Just as the sun began to rise both agents began to make their way towards the hikers campsite. With their campsite down they continue to hike towards the rugged terrain for many miles and hours. Melder spots something in the distance as he carefully walks down the rocky path he lands on the sand and blinks.
Skolly looks around and sees a campsite. Turning to Melder with the map he folds it back up and nods. Seeing they are at the campsite of the two hikers they look around for clues and find something strange.
"There's gold on the ground but they didn't mention that did they?" Melder turns to Skolly shaking her head. Melder pulls out a few zip lock bags for evidence and places a few gold pieces the size of a penny to a quarter in a evidence bag.
As Melder was collecting evidence Skolly is looking around and notices something odd. Bending down seeing a metallic bottle with a chunk missing. As something took a large bite of it. She notices some green goo on the chewed up part. Placing the metallic bottle in a evidence bag herself.
"It's half past two. We should set up camp a few feet from here. But" Melder scratches his head.
"But what?" ask Skolly. Looking at Melder who crouches down and looks at the gold on the ground he looks up to Skolly "Why leave gold laying around?". Looking at Skolly who shrugs her shoulders.
"Maybe not into jewelry?" laugh Skolly. Seeing Melder staring hard at the ground she crouches but soon realizes something odd. Looking around she sees different types of gold on the ground. "Melder".
"Yes Skolly?" turning to his partner, Melder notices Skolly looking around the gold.
"There's ten, fourteen, eighteen and twenty two karats all laying around us. All of them are scattered expect" Skolly walks around the campsite but stops crouching down and staring at a new location. Just the other side of the tent "You should see this" Skolly says.
Melder got up and walks towards Skolly and when he did Melder stops and his eyes widen. Seeing gold pieces all around the area he turns to Skolly and points to one section than another than another.
"Someone has been checking the karats. The only Karat here they seemed to be interested is twenty four karat gold" Skolly points to a small pile of twenty four karat gold that is covered in green. "Why only twenty four karat why not twenty two or eighteen?" Skolly looks at Melder who nods his head.
"Maybe it's for jewelry after all" Melder stares at the pile of twenty four karat gold. "Melting point of twenty four karat gold is the highest of them all. Twenty four karat gold melts around one thousand nine hundred and forty. Boiling point is much higher up five thousand three hundred maybe four hundred".
Skolly raises an eye and looks around. Melder sighs as he nods he looks around and notices two lines like something was being dragged. Touching Skolly shoulder and pointing to the drag marks. Melder pulls out the map and looks at Skolly who rolls her eyes.
"Let me guess the mine is that location" Melder nods towards Skolly making her groan. As Melder takes the map out and looks at the direction Skolly notices something from the distances. Walking towards the foot prints she notices some of the wolf prints.
"Melder" Skolly kneeling down looking at the foot print. As her partner crouches down and looks down to the foot print he blinks in confusion. "This doesn't make any sense at all?. Staring at the wolf prints seeing them all around but the other prints seem to disappear?
"Strange" whisper Melder. With both agents hiking the two miles, Melder notices his partner very quiet behavior. "Something on your mind, Skolly?" Looking at his partner she seems to be in deep thought.
"Makes no sense. We see foot prints with toes and boots or shoes of some sort. With the wolf prints in the dirt" Skolly stops while Melder nods. "The other prints just disappear into thin air?". Shaking her head trying to figure out how is that possible. They come to a large wooden structure and an old rail cart covered in dust with some small pebbles and rocks in it.
Melder and Skolly blinks and looks towards the mine entrance. As Skolly is about to speak they hear a loud "CLANK" Skolly shutters. "Tommy knockers" Skolly looks at Melder who is staring at the deep void tunnel.
"I don't know. But I know miners take that as a warning of unrest souls or previous miners who continue to mine thinking they are still alive" Melder turns to Skolly but soon they hear the loud rumble of a jet. As both of them look around up in the sky. Melder notices the bushes moving walking a few feet away from the mine. As he turns to the bushes the jet roar like is coming closer and closer.
Skolly looks around but notices something coming out of the mine. Blinking at the small faint glow but soon she began to hear moaning getting louder and closer. Pulling out her glock "MELDER" shouting her partners name she aims towards the person coming towards them glowing green.
But Melder didn't hear Skolly shout his name all he heard was the loud rumble of the jets.
"SHOOT, SHOOT" Skolly fires two shoots and her eyes widen to see the first shot hitting the person in the abdomen go through him than the next bullet to the chest. Doing the same thing.
"SKOLLY" hearing the gun shots he runs towards the mine seeing Skolly walking backwards aiming at what ever is coming. "What are they?" blinking at the green looking people the loud rumble of the jet and a thud lands.
"Well what do we have here more humans?"
Skolly and Melder turns around and comes to face to face a tall person glowing slight green with sliver skin flaming green hair. The ghost hearing the bushes turns to his right and seeing a tall blur coming at him.
"YOU"
"Slash"
"ARGH"
Melder and Skolly stares at large but muscular ghost resembling a werewolf with black fur, green eyes, green claws on his hands, and large saber teeth. He wore a green sweatshirt with a hood, tattered green pants, and a white and black chain on his left wrist. Standing in front of them protectively the wolf turns around and slashes the ghost miners away.
"Skulker" the wolf growl his name turning around and slowly hunching over.
"Wulf" growled Skulker.
"(Surprise to see you here of all places)" spoke Wulf.
Melder blinks at the tall wolf "Esperanto?"
"(You understand me?)" Wulf blinks at the male human who nods.
Skolly blinks at Melder "You understand him?".
Skulker eyes turn to the human male nodding his head impress by this information. It's not many who understands the language but also being a language that even some ancient ghost still use today.
"Took it in college got very interested in it" staring at Skolly giving his reply he turns to Wulf "(Yes. It's an interesting language I choose in college").
Wulf nods but soon turns to his right growling seeing more and more ghost miners started to float up from the ground surrounding them. Melder drew his weapon while Skolly still pointed her glock on them.
"So you are the one sending the ghost miners back to the ghost zone" Skulker aims a laser at Wulf who scoff.
"(But of course)" chuckle Wulf. Showing his claws towards Skulker who is aiming at Wulf. He smiles and aims at the humans making Wulf eyes widen. As Wulf jumps in front of the humans using his back as a shield. Taking the blast making Wulf drop on the ground.
"NOOOO" Melder fired a few shoots so did Skolly.
"Fools. Your pathetic weapons can't ARGH" Skulker is blasted back and someone landing in front of Wulf and the humans wearing a suit coat.
"Mines can" Melder and Skolly stares at sleek body that has no mouth or nose. He wears large red glasses, a fedora hat, a suit with long coat tails, a red tie, and a red sash, and carries a cane. But holding in his other hand a weapon of some sort smoking "Wulf are you alright?"
"(Yes it's just a burn, Amorpho)" Wulf turns to Melder "(Are you two alright?" )
"(We are)" smile Melder. Skolly smiles nodding to Wulf as both agents turns to the new comer.
"Amorpho" Skulker raises an eye "This is a surprise why are you involve in this?" ask Skulker. Last he heard of the shape shifting ghost he was playing pranks in the human world but seeing him knowing Wulf?.
"Like you I have choose a side" Amorpho spoke making Skulker raise an eye. "Krang thinks in time he will win but their are others working against him. Others training, fighting and others protecting the future protectors. The real master of time has began to move ahead".
Skulker flinches and looks at Amorpho. Hearing what he just heard Skulker nods and "So you have choose Clockwork side. I have heard of your skills and from the rumors I heard in her previous life a spy. Master in espionage, information, investigator and more. You will be a worthy hunt" Skulker carefully walks around the four.
Amorpho chuckles and tips his hat and places his cane underneath his arm. Melder and Skolly blink at Amorpho seeing who he really is "I also have heard much of you, Skulker. Ghost zone greatest hunter". Amorpho carefully looks at Skulker and sees him dropping something on the ground behind him. Looking at Wulf and the humans with a nod they all begin to walk around each other. "Clockwork is only one of many who are working together".
Once they are at the spot with the item dropped down to the ground. Skulker seeing this charges towards Amorpho who bends backwards and grabs Skulker spinning him a few times and releasing him right into the ghost miners coming from the mine entrance.
"Wulf my realm" order Amorpho. Grabbing Melder and Skolly but picking up the drive left behind. Wulf tears a portal into Amorpho realm. As the ghost miners try to reach the tear Wulf quickly closes it.
Amorpho Realm
After a few minutes, Skolly and Melder shake their heads and look around. Seeing they are in a lab of some sort with a few computer monitors. They hear talking and Wulf hissing in pain.
"Stop being a puppy and let me treat your burn" Amorpho scolds Wulf making him whine.
"Do you need a hand?" ask Melder. Walking towards the ghost but Skolly puts her arm on his shoulder "Relax Skolly. If they were enemies we wouldn't have been brought here into his home?". Melder looks around thinking it's a home.
Amorpho chuckles and nods. "Forgive my rudeness, Amorpho is my name and this is Wulf".
"Agent Fox Melder. My partner Dana Skolly F.B.I" smile Melder.
Wulf looks confuse while Amorpho chuckles "Federal Bureau Investigation. It's an organization in the human world that one of the branches of government over sees that they work for. I have worked with them with some cases when I was alive"
Melder nods "Yes. So you are a spy?"
"What kind of spy?" ask Skolly. Amorpho chuckles "What was those people what are you?" Skolly looking back to Wulf and Amorpho.
"This will take some time" chuckle Amorpho.
It's been hours since they arrive at Amorpho realm. Melder being more open minded on a few things understands a little more unlike his partner. Skolly is having a hard time processing everything. Growing up in a family believing between heaven, hell and purgatory. To see ghosts floating in front of her but also blasting.
To see them using powers and more. It's like coming from a teenager's comic book the Specter. A comic book she read when she was younger seeing she had brothers.
"Well this is interesting" Melder nods his head smiling taking the refill of the coffee from Amorpho.
Skolly just sat there listening and asking questions. "So ghosts" blinking at the two in front of them nodding their heads. She turns to Melder who shrugs his shoulders not having a problem with this. "No. I can't, not possible".
Amorpho chuckles "It's difficult at first. But if you want to speak to humans I would suggest the Fentons".
"Fentons?" blink Melder.
Amorpho nods his head "Indeed they are a family of ghost hunters, researchers and protectors." Amorpho chuckles and thinks of Danny at the library. "They accidentally got involve into this war. We are the current protectors and we are setting up the future protectors". Amorpho nods his head while Melder and Skolly blinks.
"Is that even possible?" ask Melder. Seeing Amorpho write down an address "Amity Park, Minnesota." Seeing Amorpho nods while Wulf looks towards the window. Skolly looks out and gasp to see it.
"(Beautiful)" chuckle Wulf.
Skolly nods "Yes. Just staring at it made me realize that were just one of many beings in this world. All tied together".
"That is very true" everyone heard the new voice. Melder and Skolly turns around to see a new ghost smiling at them.
END OF Flashback.
Jack and Maddie listened to Melder and Skolly. Jack nods his head holding the coffee pot to both agents who shake their heads seeing it's their second cup maybe third. Melder turns to Jack with a smile.
"I know this sounds strange" Melder laughs.
Jack grins "To you yes but to us no. Things have gotten stranger."
Skolly pulls out some documents and gives it to Maddie to read. "If you wish. Fentonworks will be a consulate to the U Files and only to the U Files. No one else just us two. Giving you immunity, funding for some projects and more we want to work together. Clockwork said this war will be fought on both sides."
Jack hearing this looks at the documents reading through some pages he stops "Jordan Freeman. THE Jordan Freeman the theoretical physicist,quantum mechanics and relativity. I read his work he just stopped decades ago he must be in his late sixties?"
Maddie nods her head seeing Jack base some his theory on his work to make the portal back in college. But to see it happening and that Jordan Freeman might have made a portal to somewhere else.
"He's an old friend" smile Melder. Jack mouth drop wide in shock while Melder chuckles at his reaction. "I reached out to him and he said to me if you manage to create a portal than you know what's coming. Prepare yourself he can't do no more too old and tired he fought his battles. Let the next generation handle the problem." Melder nods and he wants to be there to help but also solve some of life biggest mysteries.
"What do you think of the gold?" ask Skolly.
Maddie sighs "He must be making a crown. That means he must be close to finding the forge or the fire?". As the agents hearing this Skolly sees Maddie and Jack signatures on the paper. "We are in".
Clockwork Realm
Nodding his head seeing Melder and Skolly working with the Fentons. He is happy that two agents are going to help them and seeing they helped in a previous timeline why shouldn't they help out now. But this will help Jack and Maddie in the future.
Obb sighs and looks at Clockwork the ripples of time has already began. Seeing how much time has change but also the people around them as well. Obb notices changes happening in Danny time line that happen is now not happening. Changes happening for the worse and soon it will affect the people greatly changing everything and everyone the new time line.
"What should we do?" ask Obb. Seeing Clockwork staring at Danny a few years older perhaps in first grade.
Kat Elementary school Afternoon Few years later 1st grade
Danny is staring at the board listening to the teacher talk. It's been a few years and seeing it's march the warm weather is coming. Grabbing his books placing them in his bag he gets up and begins to walk towards the door. As the teacher is about to speak Danny points at the bell "Ring".
Ever since he started first grade he's been doing the same thing over and over. Writing down what time the bell rings. Taking notes studying and reading more books in the library three grades higher than his. Looking at his classmates he sees Dash pushing people Kwan standing by him with Dale.
"What's this?" Danny mutters seeing Paulina being taken to the principal office. Walking to Star who frowns while Tiffany is yelling "What's going on?" Danny walks towards the girls talking and yelling.
"Rebecca is accusing Paulina for breaking her glasses. She is being suspended" said Star. Soon Paulina comes out of the room crying with her parents upset with Rebecca smiling and nodding her head.
Danny blinks "You mean this morning in gym? Yea I saw Paulina running underneath laughing she turns around it was Rebecca fault she stopped in the middle and Paulina accidentally bumped into her". Danny turns around and walks towards to Paulina her parents and the principal.
Seeing Rebecca smiling, Danny rolls his eyes on her. She has this attitude with some people telling excuses and lies that students bother her. Knowing how many students are behind Rebecca because of Dash dumb behavior.
"Principal Cristina I saw this morning in gym that Rebecca stopped in the middle of parachute ball when the gym teacher told everyone not to. I saw Paulina accidentally bumped into her. It wasn't Paulina who stepped on her glasses it was Rebecca she got angry and stomped her foot. Paulina has flats and Rebecca has shoes" Danny points at the girls shoes.
Paulina blinks and looks down. The principal hearing this raises an eye and looks at the shoes. Paulina parents are blinking hearing this as they turn to the young student who is looking at Rebecca with a hard look. Rebecca rolls her eyes while the principal nods her head.
"Rebecca lift your feet up. I want to see the bottom of your shoes"
Rebecca blinks and raises her leg up showing the bottom of her shoe. Seeing nothing she places the foot down and raises the other up and when she did they saw a wad of gum but also glass pieces on it.
The principal fixes her glasses narrowing her look on Rebecca.
"See. I didn't break her glasses or stepped on them. I just accidentally bumped into her" cried Paulina. Star, Tiffany quickly to their friend aid while Danny stood in front of the principal with a narrow look. "When I tried to apologize she scoffed at me and stomped her foot on the ground" cried Paulina.
Paulina parents frown seeing they made a mistake and hoping this mistake won't change or hurt their daughter self esteem.
"I thought everyone is innocence until proven guilty. Not guilty until proven innocence." Danny folds his arms looking at the teacher inside the office nodding her head. "But seeing it's Rebecca it's no wonder you called Paulina's parents" Danny glares at Rebecca who is breathing fast and hard but also glaring at Danny. Hearing some fourth graders talking, Danny turns his head towards the older female geeks talking but soon flinch.
"Wow" Paulina father muttered. "That's some narrow look" even he got a shiver and those fourth grade girls stop talking and got nervous.
"Principal Cristina many students seem to go out there way to cause problems for some people. Just one particular group that would do almost anything to gain it" Danny narrows his look on Rebecca.
"STAY OUT OF THIS FENT-" Rebecca recoil back seeing Danny take one step forward. Principal Cristina pulled Rebecca behind her seeing the narrow look on Danny. Student's, teachers and parents never saw a seven year old give out such pure hatred look to anyone.
"Daniel enough" the principal warning Danny. "I don't know where this behavior is coming from but I admire you're courage stepping forward defending Paulina. But I will apologize to Paulina and her parents. I should have done more of an investigation".
Danny nods and gives one last look to the Rebecca.
Clockwork Realm
"As you can see Obb. Danny is still striving who he is" smile Clockwork.
