"Yes and no, something could happen, and it would put TIME in danger but we could stop it we just don't know what we need to stop and that's the problem, we might not until it's too late. Or we might be able to traverse one of the other timelines, I must warn you if Rose does come it will not be the meeting you are expecting….You know she loved you but you also know it was the Doctor she loved, she still does, she doesn't understand and unfortunately that is because she is young. Even with time in her she was still young….Compared to you she was a child in love with the perfect father but with consensual love in there pointing to you, if she had stayed you might have eventually gotten along completely but if TIME wanted her in another dimension, she would ensure she went. I'm not trying to hurt you, Rose was a lovely if a bit too clingy girl. You have the real thing in this room a person who loves Theta and a child who has another dad, I'm angry with you still but it doesn't stop me loving you. Who both know what you have gone through together as well as you knowing them at their most intimate. "Because of the drums Null I know I've forgiven him for that."
"You've not looked have you, you've never reflected on it, you knew what they were when he told you it would break your hearts knowing, there is only really a few things you truly cared about then, and the humans were one of them not as individuals but as a whole. When you locked the TARDIS to the two points, he could only follow the rocket to the new world he had to fly there and then wait for them to reach him…..When he got there they weren't human anymore, they had lost a vital piece of them along the way….they lost their humanity…they welcomed what dad did to them and offered, that's all they wated at the end. His comment to you how did it feel to see two all mighty civilisations burn, well he had seen humanity burn at the end. As everyone does near death, they felt they had the right to carry on living and wanted to spread the burning, they felt it was deserved for the situation they found themselves in. There was no utopia, there was no roads of gold or of diamonds in the sky it was just another dead planet one running out of time itself, they had been infected by the others on that planet as I said they lost their humanity. With the drums dad thought he was going to go after Gallifrey, after he had run as fast and as far as he could to hide from the drums, he thought the war was finished, he thought in his own twisted way he was going to get his own back, until you told him and then he lost it. You know the timeline if I hadn't interfered, yet you could have just as easily pulled the tech out of her to stop it opening it was on a timer. He doesn't have a connection with the TARDIS like you do he didn't know she was scared and hurt, he didn't realise what a paradox machine would do to a TARDIS, he just knew it had enough power to hold it open forever. You know your people played around with paradoxes, but they aren't powerful enough to hold one and a TARDIS would never willingly let it happen to them. Sexy had to be cannibalised from a time machine to do it and none of them would mess with that. Even during the war when they tried all different ones to win, but they couldn't hold them and time went back to normal once it was released. Only the deities are allowed to do what they want. Just like my life up until I was seventeen was a paradox, it had to happen I was told, the night the cloak gave me its allegiance I held a connection with them all and nothing can stand up to Death, the scar was from fallen debris as the power of Death and life defended me against a killing curse. They still wouldn't affect me now even if Sirius pumped all his power into doing It, the spell would just wash off me, I think, or I might just regenerate now. Either way he could and would never be able to do it you have to hold real hatred to use that, you are shredding a soul with that spell, souls have to be whole to enter the afterlife, Death has to pull the soul out and put it back together outside the body before letting it pass on. That's why they only look glassy but dead, it's the same for a dementor but as they don't pass on to the afterlife they still have life in them, well magic to animate their body. There's just no soul to move the body or anything."
"Is that why you followed us and stopped it yourself?" Asked the Doctor quietly.
"No to be honest I was more interested at looking at you, you fascinated me I had met a cousin and precursor to me, I didn't know who dad was, I just knew it would be bad if he had the Toclafane and the Valiant as well as a time machine on board especially as you said he was mad and a Timelord. So I actually followed Jack, from what I had heard it wasn't going to be pretty, the fact he used my phone not SATURN told me it would be a long couple of days, and I felt I could help, as I told you I didn't feel like I needed looking after, I knew I would live forever to much had come true that I was told I had waiting for me. When we met again, I found out who my dad was, there was this instant connection, all I've ever really wanted was for someone to love me, me for me, the sometimes adult sometimes TOT, i understand i think why you were kept on Gallifrey until we became adults in body and mind, sometimes I feel as old as my mind is then I feel about the actually age i look. i had, had it explained to me by the Unspeakables, how my mind would now work, I knew you would both want me to be able to see time like you two can, HE told me I would, its why I agreed so quickly. If you decided I was too much trouble once I could see time, I had Sirius to return to and SATURN to help, I knew I would eventually have the multiverse open to me but I would spend my time with Sirius, growing up next to him. Then you begged me to come with you, and I knew I wouldn't be able to leave, not now I had found dad and the drums in him."
"So where do we go from here?" Asked the Master gently he hated being reminded of the drums and what they had caused him to do.
"Where we've always gone through time and space as a family, do you remember Ood Sigma, he said to you that he thought your song would soon end but now it will alter yet continue. you asked what he meant yet didn't understand him or the song the Ood sent you off with, you weren't near the telepathic brain to understand, you have been alone for a very long time, but you're not any longer you have me and dad to sing with you now. That is the main point he was trying to get across not matter what you look like. Just as the face of bow said you are not alone. You never did see the year that never was did you I stopped it before it happened. You would have found out in the end just how old the Face of Bow really is. You would realise the power of TIME and it would go to your head, eventually you would believe as the last Lord of Time it was yours to control not to follow! you actually tried ot change a fix point ot prove you were a master of TIME. Now you are more careful with altering the true timeline only the fixed points must stay as they are. With us here to ground you again you are returning to Theta the time tot that just wanted to help everybody and the boy who would follow alongside him, you are both becoming who you were always meant to be. Theta and Koschei seeing all of time and space running though it for fun and adventure."
"And you?" asked the Master with worry in his voice. Harry thought about it his knee jerk reaction would be satifying for him but it would devestate Theta if he sadid what he really wanted to so instead he thought for about a minute the other two giving him the time neeeded to get ihs thoughts in some sort of order.
"I am your son...both of yours...DEATH gave me to you to love and rase me and in a sense control me. You can command it but as you know I have too much love for Theta to not listen to him. Love for both of you. You just have that extra bit that can hold me until I'm older, and wiser."
"So we still treat you like a son until you utter the worlds 'iswaswillbe' then we stop and listen to you" Soke the Doctor only for Null to shoot up dislodging his dads arm.
"BAD WOLF, Is was and will be, so she is definitely coming! But….He did tell me something that is worrying though. Something you two can't know until the right time he said."
"What can't we know Null, give us general terms think about everything then tell us what you can" Spoke the Doctor gently but was looking at Null with serious eyes.
Null thought over what he knew he could do and what he couldn't say, but he could do as he had managed to tell his dad, should he make them do it as a backup just in case, would that be allowed he thought for a few minutes going over his hugs and holding his dads hand he had never felt the ring as he did now, he knew it was there but not what it would do to him yet as he had said if he wanted it to be fully workable then it needed the regeneration energy which his father had told him he could give out as his was limitless.
"Dad I didn't look to see how you made another chameleon ring and remain a Timelord, I know the drawbacks of it as I pointed out, but you would still have been a Timelord when you were revived. How did you come up with it? What exactly did you do? Talk us through it please its important."
The Master eventually explained after thinking about it that even though the drums were in his head he could see the timeline, and how he split himself off and put it into the ring not realising the drawbacks. He knew that it would only give him one life, but he still thought it worth it to get rid of the drums.
"It wouldn't, they were integral to you, you transferred the drums into the ring when you placed yourself in there, it probably increased the drums in your head from then on. its really a good job you kept it on you so it was still connected to you" Null explained apologetically.
"So what do I do? Pull it back into me?" Asked the Master of his son.
"Yes and then you both make one each, from your point of view backwards from when they are made that will put the skill of occlumency into it and give me time to get a barrier around you, the only way to stop them permanently is for the eight point whitestar diamond to turn up, when it does we will somehow be able to remove them, I think they are connected yet you've never found the diamond in all of time and space…once you do make a ring we will slit a wrist each, you two will pour your regeneration energy into them I will feed it back to you as well as in to the rings well I will pump it into you two while holding this form and you two will convert it into your own energy as it goes into you filling you back up."
"You can give regeneration energy to others?" Asked the Doctor shocked. Null tried to answer and found his father held his tongue. Okay so how did he get around it.
"Please, just both do as I've asked, and it will work as I've said."
"Null you can't know that you could give all your energy if you are not careful. We still have our own regeneration energy to keep us alive."
"Do we need to speak in Gallefreyan already IT WILL WORK!" Snapped Null. His father was giving him a headache he knew he was pushing it with what he wanted them to go ahead of his father's obvious decision he had allowed this, but he couldn't outright tell them.
"Null, calm down, what the matter?" Asked the Master.
"You could say my father is not too happy with me and holding my tongue on what he told me he would, I've said all I can to think of protecting you. Yes, you have energy left in you but as you've pointed out kill you quickly enough and that it, you're dead. This would prevent that! You could be reborn in this body fully intact. Do it for my peace of mind I can't go through life on my own please?"
