"I'm not cutting my hair," Katinka said.
"What?" Carmella yelled.
"I'm not bleaching it either," Katinka said.
"Excuse me?" Carmella yelled louder.

Katinka held the phone away from her ear and looked over at Damian. He made a funny face to say "yikes" without the actual word. Katinka put a hand over her mouth to stop herself from laughing.

"How dare you?" Carmella yelled. "It's my wedding!"
"I know. You keep reminding me of it. But I'm not cutting or bleaching my hair for your wedding," Katinka said.
"If you don't do it, you're not welcome," Carmella said.
"Guess I'm not welcome then," Katinka said. "Have a nice wedding."
"I mean it. If you don't get your hair done, I don't want you at my wedding," Carmella said.
"Don't worry, I won't be there," Katinka said.

Katinka hung up before Carmella could yell anything else. She looked over at Damian and nodded. He smiled at her, walked over to her, and pulled her into his arms.

"Come here, sweet honeydew," he said. "I know it's hard but you had to put your foot down eventually. I'm so proud of you."
"I can't help but feel I failed my entire family somehow," she said.
"Your parents are cool. They'll understand. And screw anyone having an opinion about this. It's not their drama so they can fuck right out of it," he said.
"I do love how you always swear when defending me," she chuckled. "Never change, bear."
"I promise I won't," he said. "Should we start packing?"
"We better," she said.

Damian opened his eyes and saw Katinka sit by the foot of the bed. He knew it would be difficult this first morning of their vacation. They flew to Canada the night before for a week long vacation. Today was the day of Carmella's wedding. He sat up and placed a hand on Katinka's lower back.

"It's gonna be okay," he said.
"I know. I'm just waiting for her to call," she said.
"It'll happen," he said. "Remember, she chose this. You put down your boundaries and she told you to stay away. You're only doing as you were told."

She turned her head and gave him a tired smile before leaning in to peck his lips.

"I love you, bear," she said.
"I love you too, sweet honeydew," he said. "I'm gonna go brush my teeth and shower and then we can go out for breakfast somewhere. We got a lot of sightseeing to do. I plan on wearing you out to a point where you'll almost be too tired for sex every night."
"No sex?" She asked surprised.
"I said almost," he smirked. "I'm not gonna cross that line. I can't go without either."

He winked at her and got out of bed. He went to the bathroom and started brushing his teeth. Just as he spat out the toothpaste, her phone started ringing. He wiped his mouth and walked back in to see her answer. She nodded at him and put the phone on speaker.

"Hi, Carmella," Katinka said.
"Where the fuck are you?" Carmella shouted.
"I'm in Canada," Katinka answered.

There was a small pause on the other end.

"What are you doing in Canada?" Carmella asked.
"I'm on vacation with Damian," Katinka said.
"But it's my wedding today," Carmella said.
"You told me I wasn't welcome so I made other plans," Katinka said.
"No!" Carmella screamed. "You selfish, stupid bitch! Just cut your fucking hair and get here by noon!"
"Have a nice day," Katinka said.

Katinka hung up and turned off her phone before looking up at Damian again. He grinned at her, crossed the floor fast, pushed her down on the bed and straddled her.

"I'm so proud of you," he said.

He kissed her and moved a hand down her side to grab her hip. He groaned as his dick woke up. He slowly started grinding against her crotch.

"What happened to breakfast?" She asked.
"You are my breakfast," he said. "I need you so fucking bad. I promise I'll feed you afterwards."
"Large coffee," she said.
"The fucking biggest one I can find," he said. "But first..."

He kissed down her chest while slowly pushing himself down her body.

"First I'm gonna need me some of this," he said.
"Fuck me, please," she begged.
"Soon," he smirked. "After I've eaten that sweet honeydew of yours."
