It took half a day for Landon to steal the knife, and about a day for it to cause a bus full of people to be burned alive.

Having to hear Hope rage about how he betrayed her trust was kind of funny, especially as she does try to have him compelled, but when she asked him to do Dark magic with her to locate him it became serious.

"Are you kidding me?"

"We have to find him Tonny! A bus full of people was roasted alive."

"Don't act like you care about the people, you just want to find your boy toy and spank him." I might just be a little bitter.

"What's wrong with you?" She yelled "why won't you help me?"

"I will help you." I said raising my hands in surrender "but I won't let you use Dark magic, even if you are a Mikaelson, using dark magic without practice could corrupt you."

"Do you have another way?" She asked.

"Yes." I said "I will use dark magic alone."

She looked at me in confusion "But won't that just corrupt you?"

"No." I said, shaking my head. "With the curse in me that makes me invisible to people I already have enough immunity to dark magic."

It wasn't like I could tell her I'm a master in dark magic and am capable in siphoning it, right?

"OK." She said "how long do you need?"

"Give me 15 minutes." I said, rubbing my face, knowing that even if I don't help her she would find someone else to do it for her- a.k.a Jossei Saltzman.

"Thanks Tonny." She said smiling, making my heart beat faster.

'stupid hormones'. I thought as I went back to my room to perform the magic.

This kind of location spell works differently then regular location spells.

While normal ones work by having something that belong to the person that is being searched for, this one works by connecting to nature forcefully and feeding it the information you have on the one you search for and have it search for the one you need.

The more information you have on that person the easier it is to finding him.

I had probably the most information about Landon for now.

He is a Phoenix.

Son of Malivor.

Holder of the knife key to free Malivor.

Chased by a dragon.

Those pieces of information was enough to make the finding in 5 minutes, the other 10 minutes was to suck the dark magic that was swirling inside of me as the more unique the information the more dark magic is needed for the location.

"I have it, let's go." I told Hope after coming out of the room.

"You're not coming." She said.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked

"You have no experience in fighting, no super strength, and Alaric won't let you."

"You are cute." I said laughing. "Alaric don't have super strength, nor will he notice me coming along enough to stop me, which means the only thing I don't have is experience in fighting, which I have with you practicing with me."

"It's not the same and you know it! I will make him notice you!"

"Sure, but I made sure the only way to see the location of Landon is if I'm beat the map."

"Why do you even want to go? Landon can burn you alive!" She yelled

"If That's his ability he can do the same to you!" I yelled right back.

"But I let him be near us, it's my responsibility!"

"And i promised I will be there for you, that's my responsibility!"

The hallway became quiet with that.

"You will danger yourself for me?" She asked with a quiet voice

"Always." I answered.

A sigh escaped her lips.

"Let's go." She said, and they went to find Alaric.

"We know where Landon is." She said, and his eyebrow was raised.

"We?" He asked, and she turned her head toward me.

"You know, I really hate your curse sometimes."

I shrugged my shoulders before siphoning the curse enough to prevent it from working for the moment.

"Hope and me."

The headmaster's eyes opened in shock.

"Who on earth are you?" He asked accusingly.

"That's Easton Magus." Hope said and his surprise seemed to grow.

"Easton? Weren't you the kid who finished regular high school classes at age 8 and Magical classes at age 12? What are you doing here?"

"We can catch up on the road," Hope said "right now we need to go find Landon."

"You said you know where Landon is?" A black teen showed up from the side. "I'm coming with you!"

Before anyone could say no to him he said.

"Landon is my brother! He wouldn't steal anything nor would he kill all those people! I'm coming with you!"

"OK." Alaric said. "Go to the van, I just need to talk to my girls before we go."

The second the drive started the questioning begun with it.

"Explanations, now!" Alaric demanded.

"Do you want me to do it Easton?" Hope asked

"Nah, I'm good." I answered, and then started explaining to Alaric.

"As you probably noticed, before I got your attention you didn't notice me, that's because I am cursed to be unnoticeable, something that is hard to ask for help abouut because the moment you stop focusing on me you forget about it all."

Alaric seemed to become exhausted once he heard it.

"You are telling me we didn't notice you stayed at school for 6 years? What did you do all that time?"

"Yes, I spent the time learning magic from the library in the corner and taking online courses in university level science, you would be surprised how much of a free time you have when no one ever notice you. Oh, turn right."

"Well, shit." Alaric said and turned right "How do you know Hope though?"

"Apparently I'm immune to the curse." Hope jumped in and said "Too awesome for it to affect me."

"We met about 5 years ago, she came to sit next to me and actually asked if she can! Turn left here. We have been best friends ever since."

As he turned left he asked Hope "Couldn't You tell me about him?"

"I tried, multiple times." She said, sighing "But as long as he doesn't reach for your attention you can't seem to remember anything about him. I gave up after the fourth time."

"Wait, if I keep forgetting about him, how does I remember him when I went to talk with my daughters?"

"I managed to find a way last year to suppress my curse with magic, but it takes effort to do it."

The rest of the ride was filled with questions about him until they reached the part of the woods where Landon is supposed to be in.

"Let's split to two groups," Alaric said "Hope and Raphael take the east side and we will take west."

The other two agreed but I had to tell Hope something first.

"Just remember." I said as I erected a silencing dome around us. "I don't care if you decide to kill Landon, I don't care about him, but make sure not to use dark magic when you do so, he's not worth it." She seemed surprised by my words but nodded slowly.

"Let's go." I said to Alaric.

As we started searching he kept asking questions.

"What are your plans for the future?" He asked.

"I don't really know." I answered as honestly as I could. "I guess it depends on this year."

"How come? Is it related to your curse?"

"Not really." I answered.

"Is it because of Hope?" He asked, making me look at him in surprise.

"Is it that obvious Alaric?" I asked, rubbing the back of my head in embarrassment.

"Call me Rick, and not really, but she is the only one to notice you, it's understandable if you develop feelings towards her."

"Yeah, well it's part of it. The other part is the results of my studies."

"Studies?"

"Yes, I told you about how I used the past six years to study magic and science, right?"

"Yes."

"So I kind of focused on alchemy."

"Isn't that a really undeveloped subject in magic?"

"Yes, but only because it depends on science too much, I succeeded in many things that are supposed to be hard to accomplish." I started enjoying talking about those kind of things with another person.

"Really? Like wha" a sound near caught their attention.

Rick pointed his crossbow toward the location of the sound, from which came a black 14 years old girl in an old dress and coal on her face.

"Hello, what's your name?" Rick asked with a concerned look on his face, yet instead of answering she focused on his silver watch.

He looked at me in question, and I said with only my lips 'not human' which he seems to understand by replaying 'witch?'

The thing is, I knew the answer, but telling him it's a dragon would make me sound like a lunatic, which is why I answered 'fire' to which he just nodded.

The dragon seemed unwilling to wait any longer and jumped at the watch taking it.

"Hey that's mine." Rick said as she turned and walked away, rubbing her hand.

"Oh, shit." I said and jumped onto Rick making both of us drop to the ground just as she breathed fire on our previous location.

"A fire breathing witch, that's not good." Rick said as we escaped toward the east side of the forest with her running after us.

We ran as fast as humanly possible, with me making sure not to expose my werewolf nature, reaching the cellar after 10 minutes.

"There is a fire breathing woman running through the woods." Rick said as he reached down the cellar, with me coming right after him.

"See?!" Raphael said.

"So he didn't lie about that." Hope said, turning around to face Rick and him.

"Its a pyromancer, probably the one who burned the bus." Rick said.

"What's a pyromancer?" Landon asked

"A fire breathing witch." Hope said

"Their ancestors at some point reached the peak in fire magic and then forgo any other type to gain this ability." I added helpfully.

"Rick, she wants the knife." Hope said.

"OK, well, where is it?"

"I, I lost it in the woods, I was running around in circles all night."

I knew how it's supposed to continue, then finding out he is lying, killing the dragon, failing, and then having Hope kill her with black magic, but this wasn't a TV show, we might die from fighting a dragon like they did in there, and I have no reason to let it continue as it did in the show.

"It doesn't add up." I said.

"What doesn't?" Rick asked.

"Pyromancers have different kinds of fire breathing, it's blue and stronger then this fire is."

"So it's a variant." Hope said.

"It's not only that, she was extremely interested in Rick's watch, especially in the sparkling silver parts."

"So we have a fire breathing kleptomaniac chasing us?" Raphael asked.

"Sure, but more likely, we have a dragon on our hands."

"A dragon?" Rick said "dragons aren't real."

"Sure because werewolves, vampires and witches doesn't sound made up."

"OK then, a dragon." Rick said looking at either one of us "who knows how to kill one?"

"Before we talk about that we need to discuss another thing, Landon's lie about the knife."

""You still have the knife?"" Hope and Raphael yelled

Landon took out the knife from his sweatshirt.

"I panicked!" He said

"Not cool man" Raphael said back looking disappointed.

"Well, she wants the knife, right? Hope said "let's give it to her."

As she was about to go up the stairs I grabbed her arm.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" I pulled her back downstairs "I won't let you go fight a dragon by yourself."

"I can handle myself." She said

"I know you can." I answered "But it's not about handling yourself, it's about you being stupid."

Her eyes glowed with her wolf side on.

"Want to try that again?"

"Going against an enemy with no known weakness is stupid, which is why I'm not going to let you go out there."

"She wants the knife, I'm gonna stuck it in her heart, she dies, everyone happy."

"And what is she's like a vampire and needs woods in her heart to die? Maybe even life an original?"

"So what, we are supposed to sit here and do nothing?" She asked irritated.

"No, you ask this nerd how to kill one."

They all looked in surprise at me.

"You know how to kill a dragon?" Rick asked in surprise.

"7 years of complete isolation and 5 of almost complete are just enough to learn much about the supernatural."

"But why would you learn about dragons?" Hope asked.

"Because they are dragons, do I really need a reason?" I grinned wryly.

"So, how do we kill it?" Raphael asked.

"First of all you Rickand Landon stay here." I said. "You are new to this and the other two are human, Hope and I are going to do the killing."

"You are crazy if you think I'm gonna let you two fight a fire breathing dragon alone." Rick said

"You will." Hope said "Because I don't want to be the one who will have to tell the twins about their father becoming coal."

"Playing the dad card? That's low." Rick said, signing "Fine, what about you two?"

"Hope will raise a shield to stop the fire the dragon might breath and after I cast a spell to weaken the dragon Hope will stub her in the throat with a knife."

"What spell?" Rick asked.

"The one in the page that Hope hid in her pocket." I said, making Hope groan.

"What spell, Hope?" Rick asked again.

"This one." She said, pulling it out to show Rick.

"That's..." he said as he looked at it "we will talk about it later!" He then looked at me. "Are you sure you can handle it?"

A nod was all it took for him to give it to me.

Death spells are one of the darkest kinds of black magic, not because they are about killing, many earth spells can be used to kill, but because it steals energy from the enemy to give you more magic.

Of course, the reason no witch used it on vampires is because the energy they take is from the sun, which will burn the witch before they can even take a meaningful amount of the energy in the Vampire.

I chanted the spell as Hope held the shield up, covering us from less and less fire as time moved until the fire stopped and the little lady transformed into a full size dragon only to revert back to her human body, after which the dragon fell to the floor.

My senses were being pushed to the extreme.

I saw the dragon's aura being sucked as it transformed into dark energy and being fed to me.

I could hear the deep breaths Rick took as he saw the dragon.

I could smell the wine from inside the cellar.

I knew it meant one thing, the dark magic is starting to push me to transform into a wolf.

Hope ran toward the dragon as I continued to chant the death spell, unwilling to stop and put Hope in danger even as the amount of black magic filling me started to push even farther my moon energy toward my werewolf gene, making my eyes start to glow.

I closed my eyes and crouched as my back started to fill more hairy and I knew I might not be able to keep my secret anymore.

And then it stoped.

The energy that flew toward me from the dragon stoped and I could finally focus on my insides and start siphoning the dark magic that I just got.

"Tonny!" I could hear Hope next to me, but I was unable to focus on her as I kept siphoning the dark magic and make it my own.

"Rick! Help! Something is happening to Tonny!"

A door opened and someone came out of it.

"Hope! You killed the dragon!" Rick's voice said.

"Who cares about that? We need to help Tonny!"

I was almost finished in siphoning enough to make sure I won't transform.

"Whose Tonny?" Rick said and a frustrated sound came from where Hope's voice was before.

"I hate this stupid curse!" She yelled

"Give me half an hour to cleans myself from the dark magic." I said, my voice sounding demonic.

"You're fine." A cry was heard, and Hope hugged me, but at that point I couldn't enjoy it, too focused on siphoning the dark magic.

"Of course I'm fine, told you til you need me."

Being so tired yet full of energy was a weird feeling.

On one hand the dragon gave me a ton of magical energy, yet on the other, the act of siphoning so much leaves me in need of rest.

Usually, black magic that siphon energy is like a temporary boost, you get the boost from that magic for a few hours and it twist your mind in return.

To siphoner it is even more so.

Because they don't have any magic in them, every time they sip magic from anything it's like taking weed, it is calming, yet makes you a little paranoid.

On the other hand, using black magic is like doing Ecstasy.

It was why siphoner usually become addicted to black magic.

Me, on the other hand? I'm both a siphoner and a regular witch.

I have my own magic in me and yet can siphon outside sources for more.

That creates a sort of disharmony sometimes.

My own magic works great with natural magics and energies, like the full moon energy I siphon once a month.

What it doesn't works so well with is black magic, as it fights its corrosive constantly.

It was why most witches who do black magic turn into dark witches.

Their magic fights the black one that invaded the body and loses, becoming one with the dark energy.

Me, on the other hand? I siphon the black magic and make it part of my own, enlarging my magical energy pool and making the upgrade the dark magic beings permanent.

Which was why it took so much time.

My magic was fighting on two fronts, the mental front and magical front.

The ritual I did strengthened my ability to protect my mind from black magic's effect with the help of my own magic, yet at the same time gave my siphoning abilities the ability to process the dark energy and turn it to my own, albeit slowly, as long as my magic isn't overwhelmed by the dark energy, some thing it was close to do.

Thinking about how Hope was supposed to use the magic and come out of it without table, even if she wasn't trying to get the magic, just showed me how small my real reserves are compared to hers, or maybe it was her Mikaelson bloodline and Vampire side which made her body stronger and already full of dark magic that makes her resistance to this kind of energy, either way, those kinds of confrontations, ones that give my magic a boost, will be ones I need in order to survive the future, cause Malivor comes, and with it the monsters.
