Easton's POV
"How?" After calming down from hugging her family and crying Hope asked me.
"I went to your aunt for help, she helped me find something to redirect the dark energy influx to." I said smiling gently even as I saw Hayley shaking her head in disappointment at my lying by omission, she thought Hope deserved to know about my transformation.
"And my father?" She asked.
"I'm still searching for the right way to do so as I don't want to resurrect the Hallow with him." Her face turned sad for a moment before becoming happy again.
"I don't know how could I ever thank you!" Hope said, hugging me.
"You never need to thank me, I will do everything for you." I told her.
"You are such a good friend!" Luckily she couldn't see my face as I winced at the word 'friend.' Unluckily? Both Elijah and Hayley saw it and smirked with knowing stares in my direction.
"Y-you should probably catch up with your mother and uncle," I stumbled on my words "I will leave you for some family time."
"You don't have to do it." Hope said "You are like family." This time even Hayley and Elijah winced in sympathy.
"No, I need to see Rick about the entire Malivore situation." I said, turning around and leaving.
Hayley's POV
Being resurrected was a lot like being yanked.
I don't remember much about the afterlife.
No godly presence, no devilish torture, only the feeling of peace and the ability to watch Hope's life before a person reached Elijah and my 'room' and asked us to hold his hands before the yanking.
It wasn't painful, nor unpleasant feelings, only the peace, and then the tornado of emotions swirling inside of me, taking the place away.
I was thankful though, don't be mistaken. Having the chance to be a part of my daughter's life again was something I was glad I got, and then Tony told us about Malivore.
Now, I already knew about it quite a lot as Hope's life seemed to revolve around the subject of monsters lately, but the part I didn't know, the part about Hope bring made originally by nature to be sacrificed to kill Malivore, was the part that terrified me.
When hearing that I could only think about finding her as quickly as possible, grabbing her, and taking her away as quickly as possible.
Luckily, Tony and the living Mikaelsons already had a plan on how to save Hope, unluckily, it involved Tony becoming a tribrid and sacrificing himself.
I shouldn't have been happy about the situation, but I was.
My little girl found someone who loves her enough to not only sacrifice his life for her, but to make sure she has someone to lean on after the fact by resurrecting me.
And then came the big shock- they weren't together!
I mean, what a guy needs to do to get some love right?
Yet, at the same time I felt relived, because if he does die to stop Malivore, Hope will only lose her best friend, and not the person she loves.
But still, calling him her best friend when his emotions are that obvious? Is she really that oblivious? Or is she trying to let him down gently?
Either way, after we finish our main talk about her life I need to find some answers.
Hope's POV
"...and that's how we beat the dream demon today." I said, wrapping up everything that happened at school since they died.
"I still find it hard to believe all the mythological creatures are real." Uncle Elijah said.
"We had them for a month now and still can't believe it sometimes." Hope said.
"While all of that is very interesting," her mother said "I would like to know more about your friends."
"Well, there is Josie, who you probably remember, I'm not really a friend of Lizzie as she is kinda mean, other then those two I'm friends with MG, whose a nerdy vampire, Caleb who is another, less nerdy vampire, Raphael, who is a recently triggered, extremely loyal werewolf, Tony, who you already met, and Landon who is... I guess my boyfriend." I said with a small blush
"Your boyfriend? Really? I guess that as my brother isn't here, I would have to take his place in scaring him."
"Landon? Isn't he the guy who started the all thing by stealing the knife and then lying about it?" Her mom asked with a frown.
"It wasn't really his fault!" I said defending him "As the son of Malivore his instincts seem to take over when near one of the keys."
"His instincts make him take the things that can stop Malivore?" Elijah asked with both her mother and his expressions becoming deathly white.
"What's wrong?" I asked worried
"Maybe you shouldn't date a guy whose instincts seem to be able to overpower him." Her mom said
"Are you seriously telling me just after you resurrected who I can or can't date even you dated both easily enraged werewolves and blood drinking vampires?" I asked incredibly
"I-I" her mother seemed to want to say something but forcefully stop herself. "You are right, and it's not like he can overpower my werewolf Princess." The nickname seemed to diffuse the situation as we both smiled and hugged again while at the same time a yawn escaped my lips.
"You haven't slept in days, go to sleep." Uncle Elijah said.
"Stay." I pleaded
"As long as you want us." My mom told me
"Always and forever." My Uncle said.
Rick's POV
"So you did it?" I asked looking at Tony who didn't seem to change at all
"You are looking at the second ever tribrid." He said with a bow and grandeur, as if he didn't just sentenced himself for death.
"You said you will be back in 5 days tops, where were you?" I asked
"Oh, did you miss me?" His playful smile started getting on my nerves, I know it's his way of coping with his plan, Damon is the same when talking about serious things, but I needed some answers.
"Enough! I'm too tired for that right now, where were you?"
"You know, searching for something you managed to find through pure luck."
"What?"
"The pit." Of course he was searching for the stupid Malivore pit, sometimes I wasn't sure if what he had was love for Hope or suicidal tendencies.
"You searched for it alone?" I asked
"No, I had to companions with me." He said once more in a playful manner, making me fear for the answer I will get.
"Who?" I asked
"I told you I need everyone to get happy endings- I brought back Elijah Mikaelson and Hope's mother."
"Fuck."
"I understand you want Hope with you for a while, but in a bit there is spring break, couldn't it wait?"
"Rick, I'm thankful for all that you did for my girl after our deaths, but I think we need some girl time."
"Well, can I get your opinions on what to do with the second key?" I asked, Elijah was more then a millennia old, if someone has a good way of dealing with those things it's him.
"Can't you just have a siphoner suck the magic out of it?" He asked
"I'm not about to let my daughters siphon black magic!" I said
"I was actually talking about Tony." He said, making me pause.
It made sense, he was now a tribrid heretic, making his immunity to the influence of black magic much stronger, could he do it? Could-
"Even if I can, I wouldn't." My thoughts were interrupted by a voice from the door. "While calling it a key is better explanation as it can be used to unleash Malivore, it is actually the lock, which is why destroying it will only make Malivore stronger." He said "Oh, and Rick, your daughters have arrived."
"Oh god." I said, I messed up didn't I? "Girls, what are you doing here, you aren't supposed to be here until tonight."
"Before the bemoaning start," Tony said making me glare at him. "I need some substance, and I'm going to eat outside, I will be back in an hour." With that he left 'And now I have to deal with a newly turned vampire in addition for my daughters being disappointed with me.'
"How about you take the rest of the week off to be with your mother and uncle, get ready while Elijah gets breakfast for you there with Tony?" I asked getting a "very well" from Elijah and the three of them left.
"I'm sorry, we had a crisis here."
Easton's POV
While on the way to the closest mall to find someone to bite with Elijah near me I felt a strange feeling wash over me before my surroundings have changed.
I was suddenly back at the school inside the library, with an influx of new memories of life without Hope in them and information about magic in my head.
It was a much sadder, much duller life, one that was filled with me only studying magic and nothing else.
On the other hand, my magical knowledge in subjects I didn't have time to pursue yet seemed to be much more complete.
This other me seemed focused on Prison worlds, a subject I worked on in the past yet couldn't continue about it because of lack in time.
I now knew more then just how to create a prison world, I also seemed to understand how to do it without Bennet blood, making me closer to the peak in dimensional magic.
The situation also seemed to have added more then just memories as I was no longer a tribrid.
But I couldn't care less right now, the world seemed to change for no reason which could only mean a new monster came.
Running outside the library, I noticed there were much less students in the hallways than usual, and that only made me run faster as I knew I had to find Rick.
"Rick!" I said, seeing him outside the school bringing a student
