MG's POV
Being told I didn't end anyone's life even if I did kill Landonwas probably the moment I felt most relieved about in years.
Being told I'm not a monster, that I'm not unnatural was probably a close second.
The next few days went in a flash.
Everyday I had a counseling meeting with Emma, drinking classes with Tony and Caleb, and a morals class afterwards I asked Tony to have with me, one that he does in the form of D games.
"That's the neediest thing I've ever seen." Caleb said after I convinced him to come with me to the first class
"It's better then your classes, isn't it?" I asked
"I guess so." He said
"Plus," Tony said "with your advantage of already learning how to not be an evil dick, you will win against MG for sure."
"I do like to win." Caleb said, and from hence forth we were three in the game.
Not all was good though.
Even if it was well deserved, the hostile behavior from Hope was hard to ignore, especially when her eyes glowed.
Other then that, there was the conversation with Tony about him being the trump card.
"You can't do it!" Caleb yelled as I stayed quiet, what are you supposed to tell a guy who plan to sacrifice his life in order to not only save his love one, but the entire world.
"Don't worry, that's the reason I always give homework that repeat what learned in class, so you won't forget all you learned."
"Are you a moron?" Instead of Caleb saying that, I was surprised to find it Come from my mouth. "You think we care about you because you teach us how to do magic or because you let us drink human blood without losing ourselves? We care about you because you are the most selflessly selfish in the world, because you care about us not by trying to restrain us like the other teachers do, but by letting us find our own way, we care about you because you are our friend!"
It was then that I saw Tony lose control for the first time for real. His face had vampiric black lines yet became wolf like, his eyes turned black with golden irises.
"You think I want any of that? That I want to be the last line against Malivore? That I want to lose the few friends I have so that even if I ever escape moon would remember me? That Hope would end up with that hobbit who constantly whines? What choice do I have? Let the only person who saw me as a person and not a spectator disappear from my memory? I saw how I end up without her, it's not a pretty sight."
"What do you mean?" I asked
And then he told us.
He told us about Lizzie meeting a genie granting wishes and her first with being Hope Mikaelson not coming to this school.
He told us how the entire reality changed and he was granted a new set of memories of a life without her, a life of him being only a spectator for so long that he stopped considering anyone but him Humans and started to experiment on children visiting the school.
He told us how he locked away the emotions of that life and the one that came after that before he could steal the genie and wish her freedom from Malivore.
"You see, without her in my life I become a true monster, that's how I knew MG want one."
"That life isn't real." Caleb said after a moment of silence.
"But it could have been, if Hope gets deleted from memory it would be, and this time you will have a psychopath tribrid on your hands, one that has the knowledge to destroy every single one of the supernatural world without even trying."
"Can you destroy the entire supernatural world?" I asked with a swallow.
"I can raise the dead and control them, I have the powers of a vampire, the deadly bite of a wolf, and the power to suck all magic from anything I touch, not to mention magical knowledge good enough to really cause danger. You are better off with me in Malivore."
I didn't know what to say, luckily, Caleb did.
"You are full of crap! You told us it's the choices we make that redefine us, you can decide to Sacrifice your life as much as you want for Hope, but don't you dare do it for us! We are your homies, we don't let you die for us, we fight until the last of us stand!" He said then he smiled "Until then, do you think you can make some magical milkshakes?"
Tony smiled "You don't know how long I've waited for someone to ask me that, most witches don't know how to use magic for fun, and those that do, only do so for kinky stuff, me? I made a spell that makes the perfect ice cream, and another that take away the after taste in milk, you have got to check it."
The rest of the time was spent drinking milkshakes and having fun, something I really needed, something all of us needed.
Nia's POV
I'm not sure how I came to this situation.
Being a Gorgon in a world believing you are a myth was something that I always considered cool.
My hair can turn to snakes which are my best friends, one look at me when I wish so torn people to stone, and my family were off the grid for most of the time unless we need to buy something.
Then came the men in black, from triad industries they came, they had guns and said that they would kill mme and make everyone forget my existence if I didn't come to the Salvatore school and do as they ask.
So I did.
I came to a school where I met MG,a boy my age who loves comics as much that I do, which only made me feel worse about trying to kidnap one of his friends, and then it turned out the school is for supernatural and MG is a vampire, which is so Dope, and although I managed to escape him by snapping his neck, I still got caught and brought to what is apparently a jail under the school. And now MG and a teacher at the school has come to talk to me.
"I'm in so much trouble, aren't I?" I asked after finishing telling them my story.
The teacher who MG introduced as Tony sighed. "You know, I am busy." He said looking at MG.
"Oh, stop it. You love those types of things, teaching young minds to make god calls, make them learn their full potential, all of that." MG said with a grin the teacher gave back.
"Maybe it's just you I like to teach, but sure I will add the first girl that seems good for you that you like to the mix." Tony then looked at me again.
"Nia, you didn't do anything wrong. The problem is that we have to protect our students, and we won't be in the wrong either, so what we have to do is find the middle ground." I must have looked shocked because he explained farther.
"What this triad industries did to you is like forcefully making a person join the army, once he has a mission, he will do anything needed to complete it. Is he in the wrong? No. But are the other side wrong in trying to kill him? Also no. You want Landon to save your life and is willing to kill for it, and we want our students safe and are willing to do the same. Now, how about you become a student in this school, and in return we will keep you safe?"
The offer seemed to good to be true.
"And that's it? Forgiveness for everything?" I asked
"Well, you would have to return people to their original non-stone faze, and you will have to take our 'morals' class with MG here, but other then that, no."
I looked at him trying to discern any form of lying but could find non.
"Can this school even teach a Gorgon?" I asked.
"Well, when I considered you a threat I did a magical scanning spell, and what it showed me is that your powers are based on magic and moon energy, which means that your ancestors were witches that did a spell that made them like werewolves in their transformation only with more control and not total loss of magic by retaining the ability to petrify and strengthening it to the extreme. It is also why you can't do it to vampires, as the moon energy you send isn't strong enough. As for teaching you, I will make you also be in alchemy class to have something magical to study."
The idea of learning alchemy sound dope as hell, and MG's excitement convinced me to finally agree.
"Fine, I will do it."
MG's smile made me sure I made the right call.
Penelope's POV
It was my last day in this school, and I almost did everything I should.
I told Kirby how two faces Hope is about lying.
Had a goodbye with Josie, who finally read my letter.
And made sure she had a clue about the merge, which was the reason I fought for her to take a stand.
Now there was only one more person who needs a talking to.
"Hey Tony." I said, looking at the man of multiple identities.
"My star student! Have you changed your mind yet about moving to the lame witch school?"
A small smile appeared on my lips as I shook my head as a respond.
"But what will I do without you?" He said before an illusion of anime tears appeared on his face.
"Oh, cut the crap." I said rolling my eyes. "We all know you only have one person you can't leave without."
A sigh escaped his lips. "Yeah, I was told I'm pretty obvious."
"That you are." I said
"But I still consider you my star student, I was even considering to offer you immortality without losing your magic." He said lamenting
That caused me to pause.
"Seriously? You found a way for a non-siphoner witch to keep her magic?" I asked shocked. "I thought the reason you are a tribrid is your siphoner abilities."
"Of course You know that." He said with a twitch of his lips. "What else do you know?"
"Well the headmaster wrote a lot about you, almost as much as he wrote about the merge, which is the reason I came to talk to you."
"Oh, what about? Taking me out of my plan? Or how I didn't offer the twins to become their coven leader and thus save them?" He asked with an eyebrow raised.
"I don't have much to say about the first," I said "Hope doesn't really deserves the devotion You have given her, but that's your choice."
"So it's the second one." He said
"Why?" Was all I asked
"I don't like the idea being part of a coven." He started "Even as a leader of one, the restrains it gives you make it not worth the benefits." I was about to open my mouth when he continued. "But, after finding out I was born to the Gemini coven I decided to think about whether this new family is worth the restrains. The twins just left to their trip in Europe, I left to become the handsome tribrid I am, and we both returned around the same time in which I almost decided to accept, if only because I don't plan on being restrained by the coven for long, with me being in Malivore for all eternity and forgotten soon enough, making them able to live their life. And then a Djin came as the friendly monster, and decided the perfect person to make wishes is Lizzie Saltsman."
'Of course Lizzie is the one to ruin everything.' I thought.
"Long story short, Lizzie managed to ask two wishes before I could stop her, making our reality change twice, with me being the only one apart from Lizzie that remembers the old reality."
"So?" I asked "You managed to stop it, didn't you?"
"Oh, I didn't mention the memories of the two fake me's still managed to get into my head and become part of me. Now I have the memories of a brute who only likes to fight and train, and a psychopathic witch who cares for no one suppressed in my head, all because Lizzie Saltsman was jealous with Hope Mikaelson."
That was the most disturbing thing I ever heard, a tribrid with split personalities? The world can't handle that.
"I have no plan to give them any help about the subject, even if that means Lizzie will die." He said
"But Josie is the one that is most likely to lose!" I shouted.
"Then I guess it's destiny." He said before leaving, and I started crying softly.
'Why does Lizzie's actions always cost Josie the most?"
