The entire class of students was still inside of the meditation room, and had been in the room the entire day. Naruto looked around and was feeling with his chakra, and saw that around half of the students had finished unlocking their chakra, and the other half was still struggling to do so.
Iruka observed the class before checking the time. "All right! That's enough." Iruka called out, prompting the students who were still meditating to sigh and calm down. "To those who have unlocked their chakra, congratulations and good job.
For those who didn't, don't worry. For the next two days we will be continuing this lesson to help you. Though if you still have trouble, make sure to practice this exercise at home as well." Iruka announced to the class.
Iruka smiled, "This a big point in your future careers as shinobi. All right then, that's it for today. Go home and practice molding your chakra, and unlocking it if you haven't already." Iruka told the class. The students then began to pour out of the classroom and exited the building. Naruto exited the building before he sensed two chakra signatures come up behind him.
Naruto turned and saw Kagami and Satsuki. Naruto sensed their chakra and saw that Satsuki had unlocked hers, but Kagami seemed to have trouble with his. "Ugh! I can't believe I couldn't even unlock my chakra!" Kagami exclaimed. Sastsuki sighed, "Its fine, there were many other students who didn't unlock theirs either." Satsuki told him. Kagami turned and looked at her, "That's easy for you to say, as you already unlocked your chakra. And in case you forgot, I'm an Uchiha. How am I supposed to be an Uchiha if I can't even unlock my chakra." Kagami said, clearly frustrated.
They continued to walk home for a while as they were all living in a similar direction. Naruto with his new sensor ability could tell that Kagami was frustrated, he could feel his chakra was agitated. Naruto's eyes then widened slightly, 'Wait a minute...If Kagami didn't unlock his chakra...Then why is his chakra agitated?' Naruto thought in confusion.
Naruto then turned to Kagami, "Hey, Kagami..." Naruto spoke up, getting his attention. "I have a feeling that your chakra is extremely close to be long unlocked...try again." Naruto told him. Kagami and Satsuki looked at him in confusion.
Kagami sighed, "Ugh! Fine...whatever..." Kagami said. They all then stopped and entered a nearby training ground and both Naruto and Satsuki were standing around Kagami who was sitting down. Kagami was sitting down, meditating with his eyes closed. Satsuki turned to Naruto, "What makes you think that Kagami is close?" She asked. Naruto turned to her with a small smile, making her blush. "Just call it a hunch." Naruto told her, not trying to reveal his newfound ability.
Naruto suddenly felt a spike in chakra from the young Uchiha in front of him. Kagami quickly opened his eyes with a wide grin plastered onto his face. "Yes! I did it!" Kagami then jumped up from his sitting position and turned to Naruto. "Thank you, Naruto! I don't know how you knew, but thank you! Kagami exclaimed loudly, putting his face close to Naruto's. Kagami then composed himself, "Alright, see ya guys! I'm going to go tell Shisui-Niisan about this!" Kagami exclaimed and swiftly left, leaving Naruto and Satsuki alone at the training ground.
Naruto then sighed before turning to Sastsuki. "Well, that was...entertaining..." Naruto said. Satsuki giggled, "I guess so. Kagami can really be a unpredictable ball of energy can't he?" Satsuki said. Naruto nodded. "All right, Naruto. I'm going to go home now and rest up. See you later Naruto." Sastuki said with a smile. Naruto watched her walk off, before he turned back to the training ground and saw some targets. 'Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt to get in a little shuriken jutsu training.' Naruto thought to himself as he brought out his shuriken.
Naruto then began to train his shuriken jutsu for a couple minutes, and he had made multiple bullseyes. Naruto stopped and panting, trying to rest slightly. Suddenly his eyes widened as he felt a dark evil chakra filled with killing intent. Naruto turned in the direction of the chakra, 'Wait a minute! That's the direction that Sastuki goes in order to go home!' Naruto thought with shock. Naruto quickly composed himself and quickly found himself running as fast as he could in the direction of what he could remember was Sastuki's home.
Naruto could feel Satsuki's chakra was slowly heading in the direction of her house, while he was able to feel the dark chakra chasing after her at high speeds, and was quickly gaining on her. Naruto grit his teeth as he then felt the mystery person's chakra right on top of Satsuki's. Suddenly the dark chakra changed directions, and Naruto realized that Satsuki's chakra signature was still alongside the mystery person. 'Damn! Whoever it is, they grabbed Satsuki! What should I do?!' Naruto thought in worry as he changed directions and followed the new course, following the chakra signatures.
Naruto started to slow down as he began to get close, and he then realized that the mystery person had taken Satsuki and stopped up ahead in a clearing in the forest. Naruto then eventually stopped on a branch outside of the clearing, observing his surroundings. 'I need to somehow save Sastuki...' Naruto thought as his foot rubbed against a wire, which was on the branch, which Naruto didn't notice. Suddenly he heard the noise of a click, Naruto turned to the right and left and saw two dispensers of kunai which launched kunai at him.
Naruto's eyes widened before he quickly used his chakra to enhance his jumping power and launched himself into a front flip into the clearing. In the middle of his front flip, Naruto heard the noise of another trap going off. Naruto then saw multiple more kunai launch at him, while he was upside down in the in the middle of his flip. Naruto quickly grabbed his own kunai and sent them at the oncoming kunai, cancelling them out. Naruto then finished his flip and landed on a stump of a tree trunk, which was in the center of the clearing. Naruto, then looked down at the stump and heard a sizzling sound, and saw a paper bomb at the bottom, making his eyes widen. Naruto quickly jumped off of the stump which exploded. Naruto then landed on the grass and slid before coming to a stop.
Naruto was panting and looked up in caution. 'What is with all of the traps?! One after the other!' Naruto thought in suprise. Naruto then realized he was too focused on his own survival that he had lost the chakra signature that he had been tracking. 'Where did he go?!' Naruto thought in shock. "So you've arrived." A rough sounding voice called out from behind him. Naruto quickly turned around and his eyes widened. In front of his very eyes was an Iwa Jonin who had a crying and sobbing Satsuki in front of him with a kunai next to her throat.
Naruto then tried to move closer, taking a step forward. "Don't move." the jonin said with a strong killing intent, freezing Naruto in his tracks. 'No! I can't stop here! I must get her away from her!' Naruto thought and was about to move once again. "Didn't I tell you not to move." the man said, surprising Naruto, that he knew he was about to move. "If you move, I will kill this girl with no mercy." the man said, bringing his kunai closer to Sastuki's throat, making her whimper. Naruto decided to stay still, to maintain Sastuki's safety. "What do you want?" Naruto asked with a grimace on his face.
The Iwa Jonin looked at him with nothing showing on his face, before he smirked. He then began to chuckle. "I'm actually surprised that you were able to track me...Namikaze Naruto." the jonin told him, making Naruto instantly on guard in surprise. 'How does he know my name?' Naruto thought in confusion. "What do you want?" Naruto asked once again. "Now that I'm in front of you...Yes...You definitely are the container..." the jonin said, confusing Naruto. "Yes. Now that I stand here, it's no surprise...After all, the container would have red hair..." the jonin said.
Naruto narrowed his eyes at the Iwa jonin. "What do you mean? What do you know about my red hair?" Naruto asked in worry. The man looked at him in almost what looked like surprise, "Ah, I see. They didn't tell you, did they?" the jonin then said, confusing Naruto. "After all, the previous container had red hair...A special trait of the Uzumaki Clan." the man said. Naruto's eyes widened in shock. 'Uzumaki?!' he thought in confusion and shock. Naruto glared his eyes at the man, "What do you mean, Uzumaki?!" Naruto exclaimed in anger. The man chuckled, "'What do I mean?' hehe...You are of Uzumaki descent...You are most likely the son of that red haired woman who was the 'jinchuriki' before you took her place." the man said, making Naruto stare at him, wide eyed.
Naruto stared in confusion and shock, as many different emotions flooded through his body. Anger, confusion, hope, lost. Naruto started to pant, "Jinchurki?" Naruto questioned in confusion. The man chuckled once again, "Yes. That's right...Jinchurki...you know what it means don't you..." the man assumed. Naruto started to slowly hyperventilate. "You have always wondered why the others hated you, and glared at you, and made sure that their children would ignore you and stay away. You always wondered why they called you...'Demon'." the man continued on as Naruto started to have trouble breathing.
The Iwa Jonin glared at the boy, "Yes. The word Jinchuriki...it means the power of a human sacrifice." he said. Naruto looked at him, afraid of what truths were about to be revealed. "Yes...You are the jinchuriki of the Kyubi no Kitsune." the man said. Naruto looked at him with wide eyes, "Yes. You hold the Kyubi within your body. I am here to take it from you...though first..." the man said, getting Naruto's attention. The Iwa jonin then pointed his kunai down at Satsuki, making her flinch. "You're in the way." he said coldy and swiftly slit her neck, causing blood to spill and splatter out.
Naruto looked at him and Satsuki with wide eyes in rage. Naruto didn't move, he knew he wouldn't have been fast enough to save her. Though this time, Naruto didn't care anymore. This time, Naruto would not hold anything back from killing this man in front of him. The ANBU disguised as the Iwa Jonin narrowed his eyes, 'Anytime now...' he thought in anticipation. Suddenly a massive dark aura and killing intent was flooded across the forest clearing, causing the ANBU to freeze. Naruto then began to become covered in a red chakra haze. The ANBU then witnessed the transformation the the boy was undergoing. Naruto's eyes flickered from his usual purple violet to a red eyes with slits for irises. There was a dark black eyeliner around his eyes, as well as feral whisker marks appeared on his cheeks. His teeth began to sharpen, and his nails became sharp and lengthened. The ANBU was shocked at the changes before he witnessed one more change. Naruto's hair had then slowly faded from it's dark red color to an ink like dark black color.
Naruto then looked up and glared at the Iwa Shinobi with so much killing intent that the secret ANBU had visioned his own death. 'W-What?! I feel fear?! I am apart of ROOT, I have no emotions!' the ANBU thought. Suddenly Naruto tensed up, putting the ANBU on guard. Naruto then launched forward at blurring speeds, appearing above the ROOT ANBU, surprising the man. The ROOT ANBU quickly jumped backward, but not fast enough as Naruto had swiped his clawed hand at him, digging into the man's shoulder. Naruto then flipped around and planted his feet against the nearby tree trunk and lunged forward off of it at the man, and quickly swiped his clawed hand straight through the man's heart, killing him instantly.
Naruto then pulled his hand out of the man's chest and tripped backwards and swayed before falling to his knees. The Iwa Jonin then fell backward with dull empty eyes. Naruto then looked over at Sastuki's body and quickly approached her and checked for a pulse. As he expected, there was nothing, only the feeling of cold skin. Naruto then felt his tears surfacing from his eyes, which flickered from their demon red back to their normal violet. Eventually Naruto fell forward, unconscious, his transformation began to undo itself.
Up in the trees not to far away, was another ROOT ANBU observing the scene. 'Mission complete.' he thought. He then looked on as Naruto passed out, and his black hair faded back to his normal dark red, as well as all of the other transformations reverted. The ROOT ANBU then twitched, 'It seems that the Hokage, and the normal shinobi had felt the the chakra of the Kyubi coming from Naruto, and are coming this way.' he thought. The ROOT ANBU quickly jumped off of his tree and approached the dead body of the Iwa ANBU which was suddenly covered in smoke. The cloud of smoke cleared, revealing another ROOT ANBU. The ANBU then looked down at him and made a hand sign. Suddenly a fuinjutsu seal appeared on the other ANBU's chest and the body went up in flames and disintegrated into nothing. The ANBU ROOT then looked over to the dead civilian girl, and the Jinchuriki, before he flickered away.
The clearing was then empty and silent, besides the two bodies, one dead, and the other unconscious. Then suddenly there were multiple flickers of figures entering the clearing. There were large group of ANBU and top Jonin looking around and investigating the scene. Then there was another flicker, and the Hokage came upon the scene. Hiruzen looked around and saw Naruto on the ground. "Naruto!" he called out and approached the collapsed child. He quickly checked his pulse and felt it. He sighed in relief. Then an ANBU came over and started to heal Naruto. "Status?" Hiruzen questioned.
The ANBU turned to him, "Hai, Hokage-sama. He's suffering from slight mental damage. There is also severe chakra exhaustion and strain on his body from use of the Kyubi's chakra." the female ANBU reported. Hiruzen nodded and turned to the other ANBU checking on the civilian girl. The ANBU checked her pulse for around 20 seconds, before turning to Hiruzen, shaking his head. Hiruzen sighed, and looked down with a sad look. Another ANBU came over, "Do you think that the boy lost control of the Kyubi, and killed the girl?" he asked. Hiruzen swiftly turned to him and glared, making him freeze. Hiruzen composed himself before turning the Naruto, "We can't say for sure, just yet." Hiruzen said while looking down at the blood on Naruto's nails.
