There was a mist covering the forest, with rain spraying the land. The rain had made Kakashi's gravity defying gray hair damp, and become matted downwards, against his face. Kakashi was running across the the top of trees and using their branches to jump as fast as he could.
The rain was hitting his face, as he was running at high speeds. Kakashi narrowed his eyes, 'If only we had taken better care of Naruto...Then none of this would have ever happened...' he thought to himself in regret and guilt. His nose suddenly twitched, making him stop and jump downward into a clearing below.
He looked around his surrounding, 'Damn...the scent is almost gone...I need some assistance.' Kakashi thought, and proceeded to go through hand signs. "Kuchiyose no jutsu!" he exclaimed, and slammed his palm on the ground. There was a puff of smoke, revealing 8 ninja hounds.
The pug, the dog leading the other 7 looked up. The pug saw that Kakashi had been running for a long while, and was clearly in need of help. "Kakashi, what's up?" the dog then asked.
The panting of an exhausted Kakashi stopped. "Hey Pakkun. Here..." he said, and brought out a torn off piece of clothing, which appeared to belong to a kid, considering the size of it. "...I need your help to find the owner of this." Kakashi told Pakkun.
- ( FLASHBACK ) -
There was a blur, as he was rushing towards the Hokage's office. After all, he was recently called with an urgent summons by the Hokage. Kakashi was sure, it had something to do with Naruto, who had gone missing a couple of days ago right after the Uchiha massacre, by Uchiha Itachi.
The Hokage, was massaging his migraine, which was happening frequently, the past couple of weeks. There was then a shift in the air, and he looked forward, and saw Kakashi flicker into existence.
The last student of the late Yondaime Hokage stood up, and looked forward. "You called me, Hokage-sama?" Kakashi questioned. Kakashi looked at his leader, and realized that he could actually see the age of the Hokage showing on his face.
Hiruzen sighed, "Yes. I'm glad that you came here quickly." he said.
This made Kakashi narrow his eyes. "Is this..." he began to say, getting Hiruzen's attention. "...Is this about what happened to Naruto?" he asked.
The old man, looked into Kakashi's eyes, and saw the worry in the eyes of the young man, who tried to put up a mask to hide it, which the Hokage easily saw through. "That's right. I can't leave this to anyone else besides you. I can't trust anyone else. You never know who is an enemy." he told him.
This confused the young ANBU. "Enemy?" Kakashi questioned. "Is there a traitor among us?" he asked.
There was a silence for a couple of seconds. "I'm not sure, though I believe that Naruto was taken by an enemy... there is something that tells me, there is another group involved as well..." Hiruzen said.
"What do you mean?" Kakashi asked. "Are you sure that Naruto wasn't taken by Itachi? After all, Naruto was in the Uchiha district when the massacre happened." Kakashi assumed.
The eyes of the Hokage narrowed at this statement. 'Itachi had nothing to do with it, that's the one thing that I'm absolutely certain of...After all...he's no enemy of Konoha.' Hiruzen thought to himself. "I have a hunch that Itachi had nothing to do with Naruto's kidnapping." Hiruzen told Kakashi.
The thoughts of Itachi having kidnapped Naruto stopping rushing through Kakashi's mind. He didn't know why the Hokage believed that Itachi had nothing to do with it, but he had no reason to doubt his leader. "I see. So, what did you need from me, Hokage-sama?" Kakashi asked.
The aged eyes of Hiruzen narrowed. "You're one of the villagers best trackers. You're even better than most of the members of the Inuzuka clan. You're also the most trustworthy, that's why I am sending you on a secret mission which won't be documented." Hiruzen told Kakashi.
A nod came from Kakashi. "Of course, Hokage-sama. Whatever you need." Kakashi said.
A smile appeared on Hiruzen's face. "Good. All right, I need to go and search for whoever has taken Naruto. You must not tell anyone else." Hiruzen ordered him. He then took out a torn piece of cloth, and placed it on his desk.
This made Kakashi look at it with confusion written on his masked face, before Hiruzen saw his eyes light up with realization. "Is that from Naruto?" he asked quietly.
Hiruzen nodded, "This is a piece of Naruto's shirt that was found where he was last located. Use this to help you and your ninja hounds track him out. If there are any enemies...eliminate them." he ordered Kakashi.
A sharp look of determination came upon the young ANBU's face. "Of course, Hokage-sama. After all, if I can't save Naruto, then how can I face Minato-sensei when he finds out what happened to his son." Kakashi said back, before he then flickered away.
- ( FLASHBACK END ) -
Kakashi remembered the meeting he had with the Hokage before this excursion started.
The Pug then came close and alongside the other 7 ninja hounds, they all sniffed the piece of clothing. Pakkun then looked back up to Kakashi. "He's quite a ways out, we better hurry...I have a bad feeling about this..." Pakkun said.
The gray haired ANBU nodded, as he then saw his ninja hounds jump off. He waited, before he eventually he heard the sounds of howling. 'They must have found his scent once again.' Kakashi thought before he jumped off, with the water from the rain making his mask wet. 'I will save you Naruto!' Kakashi thought with determination.
There was always a dark and eerie feeling and sensation to Orochimaru's hideouts. Even the lackeys of Orochimaru felt this as well.
The sound of screaming was heard in a room, not too far from where two of the members of Rigo's squad where standing before they shivered from the sound.
One of them turned to the other, "Hey, Rigo has been going at it for quite a while...don't you think Homura?" one of them said to the to the other.
Homura looked over, "C'mon Kaiyo, you know that this is the way that Rigo operates. Whenever he finds something or someone that interest him, he'll torture them until they become uninteresting or they die." Homura told him.
A sigh came from Kaiyo. "I know that. I'm just saying that, we're not supposed to kill the kid, remember. That guy Danzo said that we have to keep him alive for another day at least, before he 'saves' the kid. With the way that this is going, Rigo will kill the kid before that, possibly today." Kaiyo said.
The sound of annoyed grunt came from Homura. "Ugh...I guess you're right...That Danzo guy did threaten us by saying that if we fail, we can't go back to
Orochimaru-sama...Ugh! Fine! Just go and send a report back to those ROOT or Foundation bastards and tell them to come today or something." Homura said.
Kaiyo nodded and walked away.
Homura watched his friend walk off before the sound of a door opening caught his attention and saw the leader of their group, Rigo come out of his torture room. He saw that Rigo was once again covered in blood, which most likely wasn't his own. There was also a massive bloodthirsty grin on his face.
A sweat drop appeared on Homura's head. "Yeah...maybe it's a good idea to get Danzo to come early..." he thought out loud to himself.
The Foundation facility was filled with it's usual silence.
Danzo was currently planning out how he was exactly going to manipulate Naruto into his control after he 'saves' him from the men he borrowed from Orochimaru.
A sudden shift in the air, caught Danzo's attention. He looked up and saw one of his ROOT ANBU kneeled in front of, and saw a letter in his hand.
"Report." Danzo ordered the man. Prompting the ANBU to stand to attention.
The ANBU nodded. "Hai, Danzo-sama." he said. "I was listening in on any of the Hokage's meetings as we had discussed earlier. I have just heard him give orders to Hatake Kakashi to go on a secret mission to leave the village and search for Namikaze Naruto." he told him leader.
There was a sound of a hand slamming against a desk. "Tch! That damn Hiruzen! Always trying to interfere with my plans even when he doesn't know it!" Danzo exclaimed. Danzo looked up and saw that the ANBU was still holding the letter in his hands.
"And. That letter?" Danzo questioned.
He received a nod. "Yes." he said, giving the letter to Danzo. "This is a report from one of the members of Rigo's squad, informing us on the situation." the ANBU said.
Danzo opened the letter, and unfolded the paper and read. "WHAT!?" A yell came from him, making the ANBU in front of him twitch slightly. "Damn that Rigo! I didn't tell him to try and kill the boy! I guess I'll have to thank whoever had sent this letter." Danzo said.
He glared down at his desk before looking at the ANBU in front of him. "I need you to organize a team of our strongest, send them to the hideout and 'save' Naruto before Rigo kills him." Danzo ordered the ANBU who nodded in response and flickered away.
Footsteps reached the outside of his torture room, where Naruto was. Rigo then sighed and pushed the doors open, the sound of them creaking echoed across the massive room's walls. Rigo began to ready his wrench and was slamming it against his own hand, making an effort to attempt to threaten the boy.
He looked forward and observed his subject. The boy had changed a lot in the past couple of days, under his care. Naruto's skin which used to have a nice fair complexion was now pale. His finger nails and toe nails were now black, from the dried blood underneath them. Though the biggest and most obvious change that Rigo noticed was Naruto's previous red hair was now white.
These changes didn't affect Rigo whatsoever. After all, he's had other torture subjects who had their hair turn white from the physical and mental stress.
The massive man smirked. "Naruto-kun. It saddens me, but it seems that our time together is about to come to an end." he said. Rigo stopped his approach and stood in front of Naruto's unmoving form. "I have gotten news that someone from Konoha is coming here...As well as the fact that the man who hired me has sent his own men to stop me from killing you..." he said.
A bloodthirsty grin appeared on his face. "You see, it's my job to take care of the Konoha enemy...But...I am also going to stop those men my employer is sending after me as well...Cause you interest me too much...Though, by the time they get here, you'll already be dead..." Rigo told the boy.
Rigo looked down and saw that Naruto had his head still downwards and wasn't moving. Rigo grinned again. "Naruto! Let me take more from you! Now that we are finally at the end, let me devour you!" Rigo exclaimed loudly.
Suddenly Rigo's eyes widened as he saw Naruto's body fade into a black haired version of himself, with red eyes with black sclera and a smirk on his face. A chuckle came from this person, "How pathetic. You really are a pathetic human." this person said in a deep voice, before fading away.
A grin appeared on Rigo's face once again, "HAHAHA! How crazy! That was the Kyubi, wasn't it!? Please! Allow me...to remove it from you!" Rigo exclaimed and then his body became enveloped in orange and black marks, forming a monster like arm on his right side.
He then lunged forward and swung at Naruto's prone form, in the chair. There was suddenly a sound of chains breaking and Naruto flipped around and dodged the attack and landed on Rigo's back, using his chains to wrap around Rigo's neck.
The chains around Rigo's neck, restricted his breathing, making him grit his teeth. Naruto glared at Rigo with his dull grayish blue eyes. "How about you remove this." he told the man. Rigo then swung his body around and threw Naruto off of him.
Naruto was sent into the air and flipped around and landed on his feet with ease. Naruto brought his hand to his mouth and wiped blood off of the corner of his mouth. Rigo looked at him in confusion. "That's foul..." Naruto said.
A sudden feeling of blood dripping down the side of Rigo's face made him realize what happened. "Wh-...Y-You...bit me?" Rigo said in shock.
Using his hand, Naruto removed the blood from his mouth. "Tastes like the intestines of a fish on the verge of spoiling." Naruto said. He then looked forward and saw Rigo use his weird transformed arm which extended in length and launched at Naruto. The boy glared his eyes at it, before he jumped over it, and spun around the rest of the attacks.
The airborne body of the boy swung his leg at Rigo's face, who blocked and gripped on the leg. "Don't think I'll let go!" Rigo exclaimed. In response, Naruto spun around, completely ripping his own leg apart, and used his other leg to kick Rigo across the room into a wall, creating a cloud of dust.
The white haired boy landed on the ground, looking down at his shredded leg. Suddenly the leg spun around itself and healed instantly, with traces of red chakra around it. "You think that after everything that you put me through, that something like this would hurt?" Naruto questioned, looking at Rigo with a stoic face.
He looked through the cloud of dust, there was Rigo's figure which began to undergo a transformation. "Kill you...I'll kill you! I'll kill you! I'll kill you!I'll fucking kill you! I'll devour you! I'll make sure to rip you to shreds! I'll kill you!" Rigo exclaimed.
The white haired boy observed the transformation. Rigo's skin was now grey colored, and his entire body was bigger and monster like. His orange hair had an increase in length, and his eyes turned orange with black sclera. "I'll...I'll tear your limbs from your body!" Rigo exclaimed.
A smirk appeared on Naruto's face, as he imitated Rigo's previous actions and lifted his hand up, and used his thumb to crack his index finger, making a loud pop sound. This seemed to infuriate Rigo.
His anger increased and he charged forward at high speeds at Naruto. Naruto began to jump around all of Rigo's attacks and realized something. 'I see...While it seems that he definitely has an increase in strength and speed...He's blinded by rage and has no thought into his attack.' Naruto thought to himself as the then dodged another attack and ran up Rigo's arm and kicked him in the face, knocking him back.
Another large of arm of Rigo's was sent at Naruto who quickly kawarimi with a piece of rubble, surprising Rigo. Naruto appeared behind Rigo and jumped onto his back with a sharp piece of metal in his hand and thrusted it into Rigo's neck, which only barely pierced the skin.
Naruto's eyes widened, and Rigo grinned and grabbed Naruto with his massive arm and launched him across the room into a wall. Rigo had a victorious grin on his face before his eyes widened as he heard the sound of Naruto's bare feet walking across the floor.
Naruto came out of the cloud of dust with a small grin of his face. Naruto's body was then covered in a haze of the Kyubi's chakra, and his hair turned black. Naruto then lifted his face and looked at Rigo with a crazed look and his eyes were now red with slits for irises. "Now...it's my turn." Naruto told Rigo as he then used his thumb to crack his middle finger, and his black fingernails were lengthened and sharp.
The excitement of Rigo reached his peak as both him and Naruto then charged at each other, with high speeds, looking like blurs. Naruto dodged under an attack from Rigo and spun around Rigo while digging his nails through Rigo's chest, spraying blood everywhere. "Agh!" Rigo exclaimed in pain, but proceeded to continue his attacks on Naruto.
The monster of a man continued to swing his transformed arms at Naruto who jumped back to dodge. Rigo tried to once again swing at Naruto who dodged to the left making Rigo overextend. Naruto took this chance and channeled a large amount of red chakra into his hand and used his nails to thrust through Rigo's large arm and completely rip it off.
"AAAAAAGGGGHHHHH!" Rigo exclaimed in pain as he tumbled backwards, holding his right arm stump, which blood was leaking from profusely. Rigo glared at Naruto and lifted up his remaining arm, and channeled a chakra blast. "TAKE THIS!" he exclaimed and released the blast.
An explosion shook the room and Naruto had jumped over the blast into the air, surprising Rigo. Naruto glared down at Rigo while he was still airborne before he then let himself fall downwards at Rigo. Once Naruto had reached within reach, Rigo swung his arm at Naruto who dodged and spun around dug his nails filled with Kyubi chakra into Rigo's back, and slammed him into the ground, creating a crater.
Eventually the dust had cleared, revealing Rigo, who was lying face down. Naruto was sitting on his back, pinning him down. Rigo attempted to move himself, in a attempt to get up, before Naruto slammed his clawed hands into Rigo's remaining arm. "AGH!" Rigo exclaimed in pain.
The white haired boy looked down at his torturer with an emotionless face. "What's 1000 minus 7?" Naruto asked him. Rigo's eyes widened at this question and proceeded to try and break free from Naruto's hold, with no avail.
Naruto then used his nails to pierce Rigo's leg. "AGH!" Rigo yelled out again in pain.
A sigh came from Naruto, "I'll ask once more..." he said. Rigo's grit his teeth in pain. "What's 100 minus 7?" Naruto asked him.
There was a whimper coming from Rigo's as his curse seal transformation began to recede. "AGH!" he yelled out in pain, as Naruto pierced him body once again with his Kyubi chakra nails.
Naruto raised his voice with killing intent. "What's 1000 minus 7?" he asked loudly. Receiving no answer in response, he pierced Rigo's body once more.
The sounds of Rigo's voice attempting to speak up reached Naruto's ears. "9-900...and 93...9-900...and 86...900...and 79...900 and 72..." Rigo said weakly while sobbing in pain, with tears sliding down his cheeks.
After finally receiving the answer he was looking for, Naruto sat up slightly. He then hit the side of his head, before he used his hand to reach inside of his ear, and retracted it, taking out the centipede which Rigo had put inside of him earlier. "You tried to kill me." Naruto said, while cracking his fingers again. "So you won't mind...If I kill you, will you?" Naruto assumed.
From this statement, Rigo froze and stopped counting in fear. Naruto then gripped the back of Rigo's head with his clawed hand and lifted it up. Naruto then used his other hand and pierced straight through Rigo's chest, instantly destroying his heart. He let go of Rigo, watching his body drop limp dead.
A sigh came from Naruto as he then stood up. Naruto looked down at Rigo's dead body with disgust. He then turned away and started to walk towards the doors which led to the exit of the room. Suddenly he fell to his knees in pain, "Agh!" he grunted in pain.
The red haze of Kyubi chakra faded away from Naruto's body. His sharp nails, retracted, and his black hair faded away back to his snow white hair. Naruto was panting before he collapsed forward onto the ground, "D-Damn...it...I used too much Kyubi chakra..." he said as everything faded to black.
The sound of panting was echoing through the halls of the eerie hideout. Kakashi was running at high speeds, before his nose twitched and he stopped. 'There is a couple of guys up ahead...' he thought, before he peered behind a corner.
"Are you nothing bad happened in there, Homura? There was a loud explosion, and the base was shaking earlier..." Kaiyo said to his partner.
A grunt came from the other man. "I'm pretty sure nothing bad happened, it was probably Rigo finishing off that kid." Homura said. This statement made Kakashi's blood run cold.
"Exactly! What if our employer finds out! We won't be able to see Orochimaru-sama!" Kaiyo told Homura.
Homura's eyes widened, "Ah right! It's probably fine, Orochimaru-sama would save us-!" he was cut off as his head was severed from his body.
A gasp came from Kaiyo who stumbled backwards, "Wha-!" he almost said before the sound of loud chirping reached his ears. Kakashi came up from behind the man and shoved his lightning enveloped hand through the man's chest.
The man looked behind him slowly with blood seeping out of his mouth. "Raikiri!" Kakashi exclaimed with a stone cold glare on his face, with both of his mismatched eyes glowing in the dark. Kakashi then pulled his arm out the man, who fell to the ground, dead.
The lightning dancing around the young man's hand dissipated, as blood dripped from it as well. Kakashi turned to the two doors to his right. He went over to the door and placed his hands on it, about to open it.
Kakashi's body twitched, 'Traces of...Kyubi chakra?!' he thought. 'Not good!' Kakashi quickly slammed the doors opened and ran inside. The gray haired ANBU's eyes widened at the sight in front of him.
There was a massive room, with impossibly tall ceilings. The ground and walls were destroyed, and reduced to rubble. Kakashi looked over to the middle center of the room and saw a chair with broken chains, with massive amounts of blood around it. He looked over to the right of the chair and saw a table with multiple tools used for torture.
The large crater on the left side of the room caught Kakashi's attention, making him walk over. He looked down and saw a large orange haired man with a missing left arm, and multiple holes in his body, including his heart. 'What could have caused this?' Kakashi thought in confusion.
The nose of Kakashi twitched and he looked over on the other side, right outside of the crater and saw a small body, making his eyes widen. "Naruto!" Kakashi called out in worry, and jumped over to him. Kakashi quickly rolled over the boy onto his back, and placed his fingers on his neck. The slow beat of a pulse allowed Kakashi to sigh in relief.
"Thank god..." Kakashi said out loud. He then looked down at the state that Naruto's body was in. 'How terrible...How could I allow such a thing to happen to Minato-sensei's son...' Kakashi thought to himself with sadness and guilt. Kakashi then realized that Naruto's hair was white, unlike it's usual vibrant red color which reminded him of Kushina.
He reached out his hand and brushed the dirtied long white hair, out of Naruto's face. 'How much...How much pain did he have to endure, to end up having his hair turn white?' Kakashi thought to himself.
Kakashi then picked up Naruto and put him on his back, and proceeded to leave the massive room, and the hideout. Kakashi was now running through the trees as fast as possible. He then turned behind him and looked at Naruto's unconscious body with a soft eye. 'Don't worry Naruto...I'll protect you.' Kakashi thought with determination.
