Evernight Castle, Land of Darkness…
Salem was waiting on her throne for Watts. Apparently, he had something to say to her. Watts showed up with his scroll.
"There was something you wish to inform me of, Watts?" Salem asked as Watts bowed.
"Yes, mistress. It's about Tyrian. He's dead." Watts said as Salem wasn't surprised. She knew Tyrian's violent tendencies would get him killed.
"How do you know that if he's dead? Wasn't he supposed to be in Vale?" Salem asked as Watts raised his scroll.
"It's on the news. Yesterday a truck ran into him." Watts said as he showed her his scroll. Salem was still sceptical.
"How do you know it's him?" Salem asked.
"If you look closely at these images that were taken moments after it happened you can see the victim has Tyrian's weapons on him." Watts explains as Salem examined. Now Tyrian getting killed by a truck was surprising for her.
"How did this happen? How does Tyrian die to a truck?" Salem asked confused.
"I have no idea, the last thing I remember him doing is trying to go after the hospital to interrogate Blake Belladonna," Watts said.
"Why would he interrogate this "Blake"?" Salem asked.
"I believe that this Blake witnessed the one who killed Cinder so Tyrian went after her to get some information about him from her," Watts said as Salem understood.
"And I think…the one we've been trying to recruit is behind Tyrian's death," Watts said as Salem was interested.
"What do you mean? Cinder got killed by a truck?" Salem asked interested in murder trucks. (It's not any truck, it's Truck-Kun)
"No-no, what I meant is that because of him Tyrian died to that truck," Watts said as Salem was listening.
"I assume you have some evidence to support your claim?" Salem asked.
"I do. Tyrian was able to hack into the CCT and the servers of Atlas and Beacon. He was able to send me the important details those being the case with Cinder's death and Atlas's payments." Watts said.
"And in the former case about Cinder's death, I was able to find out that everyone in that airfield died by things they shouldn't have died to like doors, hooks, valves and Cinder is no exception," Watts said as Salem understood.
"So that is the pattern behind our target. He makes his opponents die to things they shouldn't have?" Salem asked.
"Well, it's the result," Watts said.
Headmaster's Office, Beacon Academy, Vale…
"So you finally show up…" Ozpin said staring outside the window. Wonder of U was standing behind him.
"Before you ask something, let me ask something first. Why did you harm my students?" Ozpin asked with rage.
"They pursued me on my way to you." Wonder of U replied.
"They are just children! Couldn't you let them go?!" Ozpin asked furiously.
"No, when someone has the will to pursue me, they will face calamity." Wonder of U said trying his best to slip.
"Well, thanks to you one of my students is on their deathbed!" Ozpin exclaimed.
"They are?" Wonder of U asked.
"You don't know?" Ozpin asked.
"I know one of them should be on their deathbed." Wonder of U said.
"So you did intend for them to be on their deathbed?" Ozpin asked.
"Look I came here for something and I'll be taking it." Wonder of U said as Ozpin expected this.
"That being?" Ozpin asked irritated.
"The relics. The ones you told me about last time we met." Wonder of U said.
"You come into my school, injure my students and now you want my relics?! Why should I give them to you?!" Ozpin exclaimed.
"Because if you do then nobody will be able to take it from me, your enemies included." Wonder of U said.
Ozpin was silent after hearing that. Wonder of U has a point. If Wonder of U has the relics then Salem and the others won't be able to take them from him.
"I don't know where it is." Ozpin calmly said as Wonder of U was surprised.
"What?" Wonder of U asked.
"Out of four relics, I only know where three of them are," Ozpin said.
"Then tell me!" Wonder of U exclaimed.
"Say…aren't you a head doctor?" Ozpin asked.
"Formerly." Wonder of U answered.
"Well, how about you treat my student back to health and I'll tell you," Ozpin said as Wonder of U were surprised.
"…" Wonder of U and Ozpin stared at each other for a few moments.
"We have a deal." Wonder of U made the deal as Ozpin smiled.
"Splendid!" Ozpin said as he felt like he was done with everything.
Wonder of U then put a hand in his pocket and got a paper out. "Have you seen anything like this?" Wonder of U asked showing the paper.
Ozpin grabbed it and examined the sketch drawn on the paper. It looked like a red ball with spikes coming out of it and it was attached to what looked like a plant shaped like a pole.
Ozpin was intrigued by this drawing. Never in all his lives has he seen anything like this. "No, I have not. What is it?" Ozpin asked knowing Wonder of U does know what it is.
"It's called the Locacaca" Wonder of U said walking to the elevator. Wonder of U entered the elevator
"What does it do?" Ozpin asked as the elevator doors were closing.
"Equivalent Exchange" Wonder of U said as the elevator door closed and Ozpin was left curious and wanted to know more.
Then suddenly the coffee from the cup Ozpin was holding flew and splashed on Ozpin's face.
"Forgot about that." Ozpin sighed as he wiped his face with a scarf.
At the Hospital…
Weiss and Blake were waiting outside the room that Yang and Ruby were in. Yang was in a lot of pain and Ruby was beside her.
After the doctor gave an "updated" report of the state Yang was in, Ruby broke down in tears of sadness. She has been by her side ever since.
Weiss and Blake comforted her the best they could but Ruby hasn't had a smile on her face yet.
And Yang would sometime gain consciousness back only to lose it in a painful seizure again.
Weiss and Blake were worried for Ruby. They hope that Yang can survive and get through but they know that's not possible.
And worst of all, if Yang does die then Ruby will without a doubt go after him and get herself killed too.
Ruby has informed them that their father will come to visit them. They were waiting outside to guide him to Yang because Ruby won't be leaving her side.
They had a faint idea of what Yang's father could look like.
"What do you think we will tell him?" Blake asked worriedly. She blames herself for this since she was the one who informed them of him in the first place.
"Don't worry, we'll help him find Yang," Weiss said avoiding answering that question since Blake could tell she has no answer.
A few moments later a car parked outside and a man with blond hair and a tattoo on his arm, came out of the car worried. He came towards them.
"Hello! Are you guys Yang's friends Ruby told me about?" Taiyang asked trying his best to hide the stress he has.
"Yes, we're their teammates. Come this way." Weiss said as they started walking to where Yang is.
"How is my daughter?" Taiyang asked them referring to Yang.
"Yang is…" Weiss hesitated to answer but Blake answered for her.
"Yang is in pain. Everything she regains consciousness, she gets a seizure and loses it." Blake said.
"And-And what did the doctors say?" Taiyang asked worried as Weiss gathered up the courage to answer.
"Th-They said that… she would get a coma…or…cancer…or both…and…" Weiss didn't want to finish that as Taiyang understood what she wanted to say. Taiyang was almost in tears.
"And…Ruby?" Taiyang hesitantly asked.
"She has been beside her ever since even refusing to eat the proper amount of food," Weiss answered. Taiyang wasn't surprised. He expected his daughter to care for her sister.
They reached room 304 and Taiyang rushed inside to see Ruby sitting beside a bedridden Yang.
"Dad!" Ruby exclaimed as they hugged each other.
"Ruby what happened?!" Taiyang asked as they cried.
"Yang's going to die!" Ruby exclaimed with sadness as Taiyang held her tight trying to give her hope.
"No, don't say that! Have hope!" Taiyang exclaimed in sadness.
"It's all my fault! I should've listened to Miss Goodwitch!" Ruby exclaimed as he blamed herself.
"Don't. Please." Taiyang begged as he let go of her. Weiss was jealous of the affection shown since she never got much.
Then a doctor walked inside. "Doctor! Is my daughter going to be okay?!" Taiyang exclaimed.
"Professor Ozpin has hired a former head doctor who will attempt to treat Yang. That's her only hope." The doctor said as they were relieved.
"Really!? My daughter will survive?!" Taiyang exclaimed almost happy.
"That all depends on the doctor. He will be here in a few hours. Please clear this room by then." The doctor requested, and then he left.
"Ruby, how about you go eat with your friends. I will be here with her." Taiyang said as Ruby nodded and left.
A few hours later at some tavern…
Qrow Branwen the brother-of-law of Taiyang Xiao Long is drinking in some tavern in some isolated town as he does. He was waiting for his sister to come and meet him.
'At least this tavern has nice looking ladies.' Qrow thought as he took another sip from his glass. At least he was on the second floor away from the crowd downstairs.
A maroon portal opened up in front of the table he was sitting at and someone came out of the portal. It was Raven Branwen the wife of Taiyang Xiao Long? (Is she still his wife? He didn't divorce her, did he?).
"I was told that you have something to inform me of?" Raven asked as Qrow motioned her to sit down and she did.
"Before that, do you know what this is?" Qrow asks as he shows her his scroll that the photo of the Locacaca sketch.
Raven could tell that this fruit? Or whatever it was is something special. She has spent more time in the jungle than Qrow and his friends but she has never seen any fruit like this.
"No, I don't what is this?" Raven asked, intrigued by this plant. Qrow shrugged.
"I'll get to that later, but first do you know what has happened in the last weeks?" Qrow asked knowing Raven doesn't know
"Roman Torchwick got arrested after busting through the middle of Vale with a train?" Raven guessed.
"So you know what the media has reported huh?" Qrow guessed as Raven glared at him.
"Did something significant happen?" Raven asked losing her patience.
"Yup, Fall Maiden lost half her power from her attacker-" Qrow was about to explain but Raven interrupted him.
"You had the Fall Maiden? No wonder she lost half her power?" Raven remarked as he smirked. Qrow looked at her with an annoyed expression.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah laugh all you want. Anyway, after she lost half of her power she lost all of her consciousness." Qrow said. This time Raven was looking at him with an annoyed expression.
Raven could assume the attacker could take her power like that because Salem probably gave her something to do it with. Raven makes a prediction that Qrow will be asking for her help at the end of this. Not that she will.
"Anyway, we had the Half Fall Maiden with us while the other half was somewhere else trying to get all the power until she was killed," Qrow said as Raven was surprised by this.
'Killing the half Fall Maiden? Standing up to the quarter of the power takes a lot of strength and someone killed her?! Qrow wouldn't lie to me like that.' Raven thought in caution.
"So our half got her power back and we thought everything is good-" Qrow was explaining but was interrupted by Raven again…
"Who killed her?" Raven asked as she glared at him.
"Dunno, Ozpin does. He said it's better if I don't" Qrow explained as Raven was frustrated.
"Well, anyway the one who killed her comes after Ozpin and uh almost kills him too," Qrow said as Raven was shocked.
Raven knows that Ozpin isn't as strong as he used to be but to beat him is no easy feat even though Ozpin has magic.
"Shocked aren't ya?" Qrow asked as he smiled but deep inside he was in despair.
"Seems like Salem is the least of our worries, well yours since you've always wanted to stay away from her influence." Qrow jabbed.
"And then your daughter along with her friends try to take him on," Qrow said as Raven was shocked the most. Even though she has abandoned her she still has some affection for her.
'If this person is capable of beating Ozpin and killing the half maiden then…Oh no, Yang…' Raven was worried.
"Is she fine!?" Raven asked. She didn't want to and hesitated but she had to. Qro looked at her with pity. Qrow hesitated to answer but he did anyway.
"No." Qrow bluntly said as Raven was…well…shocked…again…
"What do you mean?! What happened to my daughter!?" Raven asked with fury.
"She has small fragments of leaves near her brain and I suppose you can deduce what that will cause can't you?" Qrow said as he was looking down on his drink.
'What? Small fragments of leaves?' Raven was confused and was looking at Qrow in despair.
"Yes, he chucked those small fragments of leaves into her nose." Qrow corrected.
"So if there are any last words she would have to hear from you…today would be a good time," Qrow said as Raven realized this is what Qrow brought her here for.
"I..wha…" Raven was at loss for words and forgot about the Locacaca sketch.
"That's all I have to say," Qrow said as he went back into drinking. Raven turned around and opened a portal and left.
"Didn't know she cared," Qrow said as he got a message from his scroll. He read it and it said some doctor will be attempting to treat Yang.
"Maybe they're still is hope," Qrow said as he put his scroll into his pocket and left the tavern.
A few hours later at the hospital…
Taiyang was sitting beside Yang. He was really worried since Yang hasn't regained her consciousness.
Then the door opened and someone walked in. It was Wonder of U. Taiyang who noticed him.
"Um, Hello?" Taiyang asked confused.
"Are you the girl's father?" Wonder of U asked looking at Taiyang. He could feel there was something sinister about this man.
"Uh, Yes, I am!" Taiyang exclaimed.
"Would you please leave? I need to treat your daughter alone." Wonder of U said as Taiyang understood that this sinister man was the former head doctor.
"Please make sure she is well!" Taiyang begged as Wonder of U nodded. Then Taiyang left the room and Wonder of U locked the door.
'What if I can't do it?' Wonder of U asked.
'Well, you have the Locacaca, don't you?' Tooru said as Wonder of U checked his pocket to make sure the Locacaca is still there. It was.
A few hours ago at Tooru's apartment…
"So the guy you killed yesterday, who was that?" Tooru asked Wonder of U.
"If I remember correctly his name was Tyrian Callows." Wonder of U informed.
"Wasn't he one of the guys we're required to kill?" Tooru asked as Wonder of U nodded.
"You don't even remember who you guys are supposed to kill?" Someone said as Tooru and Wonder of U were surprised and turned around to see that it was The Saint.
"Surprised?" The saint asked as they nodded.
"You came here to remind us?" Wonder of U asked as The Saint shook his head.
"No, I am here to correct some misinformation I've fed you." The Saint said as Tooru wondered what was he misinformed of.
"Remember I said that aura is the manifestation of soul back in the file I gave you?" The Saint asked as they nodded.
"Yeah, no. The stand is the manifestation of the soul, not aura. Aura being the manifestation of the soul was just a superstition because if it were then destroying it would mean killing someone" The Saint corrected them.
"You…came all the way down…here? Just for that?" Tooru asked shocked.
"Hey! There was a chance that the confusion might drive you crazy!" The Sain exclaimed as Tooru couldn't believe it that there was a chance!
"So, anything I can do to make it up to you? I've ordered to by my seniors." The Saint asked.
"You have seniors?" Tooru asked surprised since he thought there was none above The Saint.
"That's none of your concern. Now do you want anything or should I just leave?" The Saint asked.
"The Locacaca!" Tooru and Wonder of U exclaimed.
"Sure, it's over there." The Saint said as he pointed behind Tooru. Tooru looked behind to see a Locacaca plant with grown Locacaca on it. And it was the evolved Locacaca. (The one that Jobin was trying to grow for his son)
Tooru looked in front of him to see that The Saint was gone. "He left rather quickly." Wonder of U said.
"But we have a problem now," Tooru said as he stared at the Locacaca.
"Ozpin and his people might be looking for it." Wonder of U said.
"If Jobin was able to grow the evolved or hybrid or whatever version of Locacaca was until the very end then we can too," Tooru said as a matter of fact.
"Plus we gave them the old Locacaca sketch." Wonder of U said as Tooru nodded.
Present time at the hospital…
"Well, time to begin the operation." Wonder of U said as he got the X-Ray of Yang and examined it.
'She has a total of 12 small leaf fragments. I'll watch the map and get those leaves out slowly.' Wonder of U thought. Then Wonder of U phased his hand through Yang's head and grabbed a small piece of leaf fragment.
He then started to move those out of the head from the same way those got in, by the nose and removed it from her head.
"Now to repeat it 11 times." Wonder of U sighed. Then a maroon portal opened up beside them and Wonder of U observed.
'A saint came to me today, now is this the devil coming to see me?' Wonder of U wondered as Raven stepped out of the portal.
"Who are you?" Raven asked as she glared at him.
'Was I wrong? Anyway, she still hasn't the will to pursue and I must make sure she doesn't. It will cause quite the commotion.' Wonder of U thought.
"I am the doctor that will be treating this girl. If you're someone with relations with her then I would suggest that you go and wait outside." Wonder of U said but Raven wasn't buying it.
"Stop lying! Her injuries are far from treatable!" Raven yelled. Wonder of U noticed that a chair behind her was moving slowly towards her.
'Shit! If she faces calamity and they find out that I am Wonder of U then this operation will be cancelled and so my relics. I need to show her how I can accomplish this' Wonder of U thought in alarm.
"Are they? Because with my semblance I can just do this." Wonder of U said as he phased his hand through Yang's head. Raven put her hand on her sword's handle.
Raven was shocked. 'This man's semblance is to go through people? I can see how he can accomplish this.' Raven admitted that a fight was the last thing they needed. Then Raven also realized something.
"Wait… You're going through her aura?!" Raven exclaimed. Aura has been an impenetrable force for as far as she knew and this man just bypassed it and was able to move the leaves.
"Yes, my semblance allows me to go through objects whether they be aura or bullets or weapons. That's why if you swung that sword you have there at me it would just pass through me." Wonder of U said as Raven realized that if she attacked, she would botch the operation.
"You're no ordinary doctor, are you?" Raven asked as Wonder of U could feel her will to pursue. Wonder of U then removed another leaf fragment from Yang.
'Best answer her so she leaves' Wonder of U thought.
"Your suspicions are correct. I am not just some doctor. I am special." Wonder of U said as Raven was curious.
"Are you a huntsman?" Raven asked.
"No, just like I said I am someone special. Ozpin has his connections, has he not?" Wonder of U said as Raven realized Ozpin called this man in and Raven knew he wasn't doing this for money.
"What did Ozpin promise you in return?" Raven asked as Wonder of U phased his hand into Yang.
"Location of the relics" Wonder of U answered as he removed another leaf fragment. Raven was shocked that Ozpin was willing to trade the locations of the relics for the life of her daughter. Raven never saw Ozpin as someone like that.
"He…would do…that?" Raven asked not hiding her astonishment. Wonder of U phased his hand inside Yang's head again.
"Of course, he would, it's his fault that his student dies." Wonder of U answered as he no longer felt the will to pursue. Wonder of U removed another leaf fragment.
"I take your astonishment for Ozpin's unexpected care for this girl means she's your relative?" Wonder of U asked as he put his hand into her head again.
"Yes, she is…I am her mother. Raven Branwen." Raven answered as Wonder of U removed another leaf fragment.
"Ah, yes. One of her friends told me about your absence in her life. What made you come back in her so believed last moments?" Wonder of U asked as he phased his hand in Yang's head.
"I may not have been there for her in her life but I still care about her. It's…just…I" Raven struggled to speak. Wonder of U removed another leaf fragment.
"It's just that if she died without hearing your excuses for your absence, you would regret it?" Wonder of U said as Raven was surprised at that. Wonder of U phased his hand inside her head again.
"It's not an excuse! I had to be with my tribe. I am not going to bring my tribe and I into Ozpin's war and I'll try my best to make sure she doesn't either!" Raven exclaimed as Wonder of U removed another leaf.
"You mean his war with Salem?" Wonder of U asked as he phased his hand in Yang's head again. Raven nodded at Wonder of U's question.
"Foolish! You are already part of this war. Aren't the Grimm your enemies as well?" Wonder of U said but Raven disagreed. Wonder of U removed another leaf.
"Those creatures are nothing but weak, I don't deem them, my enemies or my worthy opponents. They are just a nuisance." Raven said. Wonder of U phased another hand in her head.
"Weak?" Wonder of U asked confused.
'That fucking giant bird looked weak to you!?' Tooru exclaimed internally.
"The strong lives and the weak dies, which is the law of the nature, which is how my tribe has survived," Raven said as Wonder of U removed another leaf fragment.
"What is your tribe exactly?" Wonder of U asked.
"A tribe of strong warriors," Raven said proudly.
"Do you have any idea how little that narrows it down?" Wonder of U sarcastically said as he phased his hand in Yang's head again.
"…" Raven was trying to find better words for her tribe other than being a bandit tribe.
"It's a bandit tribe, isn't it?" Wonder of U said as he removed another leaf. Raven glared at him and Wonder of U assumed he was right.
"I'll assume I was right. Anyway, so you steal from the weak and use their supplies for your tribe?" Wonder of U asked as he phased his hand in Yang's head. Raven was frustrated.
"That's none of your concern." Raven bluntly said as Wonder of U removed another leaf fragment.
"So you call yourself strong?" Wonder of U asked as he phased his hand in Yang's head again. Raven glared at Wonder of U.
Wonder of U removed the last leaf fragment from Yang's head.
"That was the last leaf fragment. I have to inform her family about this. We can continue this conversation another time, what say you?" Wonder of U asked.
"Fine with me," Raven said as she turned around and opened a portal and left.
"Phew." Wonder of U and Tooru sighed in relief. Wonder of U put all the leaf fragments on a plate. Wonder of U walked to the door and opened it to see Taiyang sitting outside.
Taiyang looked at him with a worried expression. "You may come." Wonder of U said as Taiyang sat up from his chair and walked inside.
"I am sorry that it took so long. Her mother came out of her portals or whatever in here and that slowed the operation down." Wonder of U said as Taiyang was surprised.
'Raven came to see Yang?! Maybe she does care for her after all and maybe there's hope for her to come back.' Taiyang thought.
"Raven was here!?" Taiyang said not believing it.
"Yes, she was. Otherwise, where would that dirt come from?" Wonder of U said pointing to the ground where a lot of dirt was.
"So she did come back!?" Taiyang exclaimed but then quieted down after remembering that he is in a hospital and that Yang's sleeping.
"Only thinking that these would be her daughter's last moments," Wonder of U said as Taiyang was surprised that he started crying tears of joy.
"So…Yang is fine?" Taiyang asked with joy in his voice.
"She won't die if that's what you want to know. I don't think anyone will be fine after being unconscious for over 12 hours." Wonder of U said.
'Except for the people that sleep' Wonder of U thought as he realized his mistake saying that.
"I…I understand that part…" Taiyang said.
"Good. It's fortunate that plan A worked." Wonder of U said as Taiyang was confused.
"Plan A?" Taiyang asked confused.
"Backup plans. I did not want to fail." Wonder of U said as Taiyang nodded.
"So since I removed the leaf fragments that were near her brain and causing problems. Without them, her aura should heal her and the infections those leaves caused will be healed as well." Wonder of U said as Taiyang was litening.
"However, I wasn't able to remove the leaf fragments in her lungs but they won't cause significant problems." Wonder of U assured.
"Make sure her brain works properly and she remembers things. When she wakes up ask her questions to prove that her brain is still her brain." Wonder of U instructed.
"That will be all." Wonder of U said as he was heading for the door. Taiyang looked at Yang to see that she was cured.
'I need to tell Ruby about this!' Taiyang thought as he turned around to see the doctor gone. Taiyang was surprised by how fast the doctor left.
"Maybe he's in a hurry." Taiyang assumed.
Half an hour later…
Ruby and the others arrived at Yang's room to check up on Yang. Ruby opened the door and to her surprise, she saw Yang talking with her dad along with Weiss and Blake.
"Yang!?" Ruby, Weiss and Blake exclaimed.
"Hey! Bet you guys didn't expect me to be back in health this soon?" Yang asked as she smiled. Ruby rushed at her and hugged her.
"Yang! I thought you…were really…going to…" Ruby cried in her chest as she struggled to speak. Weiss and Blake smiled.
"So… the doctor was able to treat Yang back to health?" Weiss asked as they approached them.
"Fortunately yes!" Taiyang exclaimed as her teammates hugged her.
"Awww don't worry guys! I won't go down like this." Yang said as they smiled.
"So since Yang is back to health, how should we celebrate?" Taiyang asked.
"Th-There's no need for that Mr Xiao Long!" Weiss exclaimed as Blake's tummy rumbled. They laughed at that.
"I guess we could go eat something," Blake said as they eventually agreed.
Headmaster's Office, Beacon Academy, Vale…
"So I finished my part of the deal, it's about time that you do too." Wonder of U said as Ozpin sighed. He actually never expected Wonder of U to bring Yang back to health.
"The Relic of Knowledge is in a vault in Haven Academy. The Relic of Creation is in a vault in Atlas and the Relic of Destruction is in a vault in Shade." Ozpin instantly answers and turns around.
"Wait… what does the Relic of Creation do?" Wonder of U asked as Ozpin didn't answer him.
"I kept my part of the deal. The deal is done." Ozpin said as Wonder of U realized Ozpin won't answer his questions anymore.
"Fine." Wonder of U said as he left through the elevator.
Tooru's apartment…
"Ozpin didn't tell us how to use the Relic of Creation but as the name suggests I assume I can use this relic to create whatever I want. But since I don't know how to use it we better get the Relic of Knowledge first." Tooru said.
"I guess we have to figure out how to use the Relic of Knowledge ourselves. We need the Relic of Creation to create more Locacaca." Wonder of U and Tooru decided.

Sorry if Raven seemed out of character, it's just hard for me to understand her. All I know about her personality is that she wants to get powerful but also avoids powerful people to survive.
