Chapter 40: Time to Break Out
Dylan Riley looked a bit scared as Secre Swallowtail had this smirk on her face, while the girls in Dylan's group were trapped in clear cubes.
"So big boy, what's your move now?" Secre asked Dylan.
"This," Dylan said and then he runs away from Secre as the girls in Dylan's group were a little bit embarrassed over this move.
Secre then walks over to Nami's Clima-Tact and picks it up.
"Okay, time to hunt," Secre said.
"And I have to do it fast, my Mana Skin spell is about to wear out," Secre said and then she runs forward.
"If you damage my Clima-Tact, I'm going to hurt you and make you pay for it," Nami said angrily to Secre.
"I can't believe Dylan just ran off," Ristarte said.
"I know Dylan doesn't want to hit a girl, but I would never thought he would run away from them," Botan said.
"Maybe it's part of his plan," Kinoko Komori said.
"I can't believe he just left us," Beth Vanderwood said.
"Don't count out on him just yet, I think he knows what he's doing," Meredy said to the girls, even though they can't hear her.
"I just hope Dylan is doing the right thing," Nami said.
Meanwhile, Secre was walking around the park as she was trying to find Dylan and beat him with Nami's Clima-Tact.
"Come on out you fat fuck, you can't hide forever," Secre said angrily to Dylan as she continues to walk around.
Meanwhile, Dylan was hiding behind a big tree as he was breathing heavy due to running around a lot.
"Man, this girl doesn't want to give up," Dylan said quietly as he tries to quiet his heavy breathing.
"I can't fight Secre, I don't want to harm her, unless me and her are wrestlers and we fight in a match, that would be different," Dylan said quietly.
"Maybe I can peek out to see if she's behind me," Dylan said quietly.
Dylan then peeks out from behind the tree and he sees that Secre was nowhere to be found.
"Phew, she isn't here," Dylan said quietly as he breathed a sigh of relief.
Dylan then hides back behind the tree and then he could feel something hit his stomach hard.
"Fuck," Dylan said in pain as he sees Secre in front of him and she nailed him with the Clima-Tact.
"Got you," Secre said to Dylan.
Dylan then falls to his knees as he holds his stomach in pain.
"So you're going to fight me?" Secre asked Dylan.
"I'm not going to fight you Secre, ah shit," Dylan said to Secre as he was in pain and falls to his left side.
"You are such a pussy," Secre said to Dylan.
Secre then nails a kick to Dylan's ribs as this cause Dylan to feel more pain.
"Ah fuck this hurts," Dylan said in pain as he slowly gets back to his feet.
"I'm not letting you get away with this," Dylan said to Secre as he moves his arms off his stomach.
"So noble of you to protect those girls," Secre said to Dylan.
"But I don't fucking care," Secre said angrily.
Secre then nails a series of punches to Dylan's chest and ribs. After six punches, Secre stops and gets ready to swing for the fences.
Secre then swings the Clima-Tact and smacks Dylan in the ribs with it. The force of the swing sends Dylan straight into the air.
"This isn't good," Dylan said as he is flying up into the air.
Meanwhile, Nami was trying to see if Dylan was anywhere in her sights. She then looks up to see something big up in the sky.
"That is one big bird," Nami said.
Soon, that figure was coming down further as Nami realize that bird she thought she saw was actually Dylan.
"Oh shit that's Dylan," Nami said in shock.
Then, Dylan lands on the top of the prison Nami was in and then falls off it and onto the grass, hard.
"Ouch," Beth said over that landing.
"That's going to leave a mark," Botan said as Dylan gets on his feet.
"Ouch, that fucking hurt so fucking much," Dylan said in utter pain.
Dylan sees Nami in the cube and he waves to her as Nami was not too pleased by it.
Dylan then walks over to the front of the prison and leans up against it. He then lifts up his shirt to see all the bruises he received from Secre's attacks.
"Fuck, Secre did a great number on me," Dylan said as he lowers his shirt.
"How do you take out someone like her?" Dylan asked himself.
Suddenly, Dylan looks up to see some kind of javelin heading towards him. Once it was closer, he realizes that thing was Nami's Clima-Tact.
"Holy shit," Dylan said in shock.
Dylan then jumps out of the way and the Clima-Tact strikes the prison.
"Fuck," Dylan said in shock as he gets back on his feet.
"Secre is fucking strong, I nearly got impaled by the Clima-Tact," Dylan said as he walks over to the Clima-Tact.
Dylan then picks up the Clima-Tact and looks at it.
"I don't know what material Usopp used to make it, but it feels heavy enough," Dylan said.
Dylan then looks at the prison Nami was in and he realize there was a small crack in it, caused by the Clima-Tact. He looks back at the Clima-Tact as Dylan realize he found the answer to get the girls out of their prisons.
"Nami, stay back," Dylan said to Nami.
Even though she couldn't hear Dylan, Nami knew what's going to happen as she steps back.
Dylan then swings the Clima-Tact and strikes the prison with it. He then looks to see the crack was starting to get bigger. Dylan then looks to see Secre wasn't there so he needed to act fast.
Then, Dylan continues to swing and strike the prison with the Clima-Tact.
After eleven strikes, Dylan sees the crack was getting bigger and bigger as one more hit will break it.
"Oh god, I hope this works," Dylan said.
Dylan then swings and strikes the prison again. The force was enough to leave cracks all over the prison and then it shatters the prison into thousands of pieces as Nami was free.
"Nami, are you okay?" Dylan asked Nami as Nami brushes off the glass from her shoulders.
"Yeah, I'm okay," Nami said.
"Thanks for getting me out," Nami said to Dylan.
"You're welcome," Dylan said to Nami.
"Secre is going to show up soon, I'm going to try and get Meredy out," Dylan said to Nami.
"Okay," Nami said and then Dylan races over to Meredy.
A minute later, Dylan reaches Meredy and then he starts to swing the Clima-Tact at the prison, striking it repeatedly.
"Dylan must have found a weakness, impressive," Meredy thought as she watches him hit the prison.
After twenty swings, the prison starts to crack all over it and then it shatters into thousands of pieces, freeing Meredy in the process.
"Oh Dylan, thank you," Meredy said to Dylan and then she gives him a soft hug.
Dylan then breaks off the hug a few seconds later as he could feel the pain from Secre's attacks.
"Oh Dylan I'm sorry," Meredy said to Dylan.
"It's okay," Dylan said and then he and Meredy walk back over to Nami.
Once they reach Nami, Dylan hands the Clima-Tact back to her as Secre approaches her.
"You freed them," Secre said angrily to Dylan.
"I did," Dylan said.
Secre then could feel a pain in her head as her special Mana Skin spell was fading in and out.
"What's going on?" Nami asked as the trio notice what's happening to Secre.
"It must be her spell," Meredy said.
"Because of how long she's using it, it starting to weaken her," Dylan said.
"Nami, Meredy, now it's your chance, take her out," Dylan said to Nami and Meredy.
"Got it," Nami said.
"Understood," Meredy said as she and Nami race towards Secre.
Nami then nails Secre with a Clima-Tact to her head. Then, Meredy nails a spinning heel kick to Secre's ribs.
Nami swings and nails the Clima-Tact to Secre's back and Secre screams in pain. Meredy then nails a punch to Secre's mouth, followed by a kick to the right knee as Secre's was bleeding from the mouth a little.
Nami then swings her Clima-Tact and strikes Secre in the ribs with it. The force knocks Secre twenty feet away from the pair and lands hard on the grass.
"We got one chance, we need to unleash a combo move on Secre," Nami said to Meredy.
"I agree," Meredy said.
Meredy then summons several yellow blades as Nami points her Clima-Tact up as lightning goes into her Clima-Tact. Nami then points her Clima-Tact at Secre, who was getting to her feet.
"Maguilty Sodom," Meredy said as she launches the blades at Secre.
"Thunder Lance," Nami said as she launches a bolt of lightning towards Secre.
"Tempo," Nami and Meredy said as the lightning surrounds the blades.
Secre looks to see the lightning covered blades coming at her as she was too weak to move.
"Oh crap," Secre said.
Then, the lightning blades hit Secre all over her body as the impact knocks Secre out cold and lays on the grass hard.
Once the attack clears, Nami, Meredy, and Dylan see what happened.
"Holy shit, that was awesome," Dylan said in an excited tone.
"We did, we beat Secre," Nami said to Meredy in relief.
"Yeah thank god," Meredy said and then she lies down on the grass.
Soon, the prisons trapping the other girls were gone as the girls were finally free.
"Oh thank god," Ristarte said.
"Freedom," Kinoko said.
"That Secre has so much power it isn't even funny," Botan said.
"I'm just glad to finally feel the grass," Beth said as she runs her fingers along the grass.
Soon, the other girls slowly walk (due to the wounds inflicted by Secre) over to Dylan, Nami, and Meredy. Soon they made it to the trio as they were impressed by the combo attack.
"Oh my god Nami and Meredy, that attack wad so fucking awesome," Botan said to Nami and Meredy.
"Yeah I have never seen a powerful move like that before," Beth said.
"That might be the most epic thing I have ever seen in my entire life," Ristarte said in an excited tone.
"Thanks girls," Nami said to the other girls.
"Oh my god I'm in pain," Meredy said as that fight with Secre hurt a bit.
"I think we are all in some sort of pain," Botan said.
"I agree with Botan," Dylan said.
"Those kicks felt like I just got into a fight with Bryan Danielson," Dylan said as he holds his ribs in pain.
"Alright Dylan, you know the drill," Nami said to Dylan.
"I know, I know," Dylan said.
Then, Dylan and Nami walk over to an unconscious Secre and they look down on her. They see that Secre's body was a little bit charred and had numerous gashes along her body and blood leaking out of those wounds.
"I think I overdid it," Nami said.
"Maybe," Dylan said and then he kneels next to Secre.
Dylan then holds out his right hand and puts it near Secre's chest. His right hand then starts to glow as Secre's number appears and disappears four seconds later.
Then a card floats out of Secre's body and into Dylan's right hand. Dylan's hand stops glowing and looks at the new card he got, and was impressed by the stats.
"Secre Swallowtail, stars: six, special ability: Seal Magic, daily income: $205 per day," Dylan said as he read what was on the card.
"Fuck, no matter why she was so hard to beat, six stars," Meredy said.
"But the pay out was big, over two hundred dollars, that's fucking awesome," Nami said in an excited tone.
"Even if we got numerous bruises, gashes, and broken bones," Botan said.
"Yeah," Kinoko said as Dylan puts the card in his right front pocket.
"Alright, we will take Secre back to the hotel and tend to our wounds," Nami said.
"Now who is going to carry Secre to our SUV?" Dylan asked the girls and the girls look at him.
"Why should I ask," Dylan said.
Dylan then picks up Secre and carries her over his right shoulder.
"Alright, who wants to pick up Meredy?" Dylan asked the girls.
"I'll do it," Ristarte said as she gets Meredy to her feet and wraps Meredy's right arm around her neck.
Soon, Dylan and the girls slowly walk back to their SUV. Once they made it to their vehicle, they all get in, buckle up, and head back to their hotel.
Forty minutes later, they made it back to the hotel and once they park the SUV, they exit the vehicle and head to Dylan's hotel room.
Once they got into the room, Dylan lays Secre down on one of the beds and lays her head on a pillow.
Thirty minutes later, the girls were relaxing in the room as they had bandages covering their injuries.
"I have never had my hand broken like that before," Kinoko said.
"I never felt a punch like that at all," Botan said.
"I'm just glad it is finally over," Ristarte said as she lays on the bed next to Secre.
"Hey Dylan, do you need any bandages?" Nami asked Dylan who was sitting in a chair and up against a desk.
"No thanks," Dylan said to Nami.
Dylan then lifts up his shirt to see the bruises that Secre left on him.
"Oh damn Secre, you must have lead in your fists," Dylan thought and then he lowers his shirt.
Dylan then pulls the Secre trading card out of his pocket and puts it on the desk. He then pulls out his iPhone and goes to the home page.
Dylan then goes into the special app and press the scan feature on the the app. He then starts to scan the card and after ten seconds, the scan was complete.
"Perfect," Dylan said as he heads back to the home page and puts the phone on sleep mode.
"So Dylan, how much are you making now?" Meredy asked Dylan as Dylan puts his phone down.
"Nine hundred and seventy dollars a day," Dylan said.
"So close to a thousand, but it is still good," Kinoko said.
"How much is that per week?" Nami asked Dylan.
"That is close to sixty-eight hundred dollars a week," Dylan said as this made Nami happy.
"Awesome, the amount is enough to splurge on things," Nami said as she had dollar symbols in her eyes.
"But there is still a lot people to support," Meredy said as this made Nami go back to normal.
"Just let me be happy for one second," Nami said to Meredy in a depressed tone.
"The income Secre brings in is more than mine and Meredy's daily income," Botan said.
"Correct Botan," Dylan said to Botan.
"If Secre was hard, imagine the other girls that could be under control by cards," Kinoko said.
"I don't want to think about that right now, I just want to relax," Beth said.
Soon, Secre opens her eyes as her irises turn back from silver to red. She then sits up as she could feel some pain in her body.
"Ow," Secre said in pain as she sees the bandages around her body.
"Why are there bandages on me?" Secre asked herself in concern.
Secre then sees all the girls sitting or lying down in the room.
"Who are you girls, why am I here?" Secre asked the girls.
"I'm Nami," Nami said.
"I'm Ristarte, but call me Rista for short," Ristarte said.
"I'm Kinoko Komori," Kinoko said.
"I'm Botan," Botan said.
"I'm Beth Vanderwood," Beth said.
"And I'm Meredy," Meredy said.
"Nice to meet all of you, I'm Secre Swallowtail," Secre said to the girls.
"We know," Beth said.
"We were the ones that defeated you," Nami said to Secre.
"Defeated?" Secre asked Nami.
"Yeah you had a card inside you and we defeated you to get it out," Nami said to Secre.
"How did you get the card out?" Secre asked.
Nami then points over to Dylan, who was still sitting on the chair.
"Him, he got the card out," Nami said.
"Who is he?" Secre asked.
"That's Dylan Riley, he's the leader of the group," Ristarte said.
"He's doesn't look like leadership material," Secre said.
"He might not be ripped, but he is such a great guy, gentle, quiet, and he knows what he's doing most of the time," Botan said.
"Yeah, Dylan is like a big teddy bear," Kinoko said.
"How did you get here?" Nami asked Secre.
"Yeah how did you get here?" Botan asked Secre.
"Well I was leaving the Black Bull headquarters resting on Asta's head," Secre said.
"Why were you on this Asta's head?" Beth asked Secre in a confused tone.
"Oh I used this forbidden magic and I was turned into an anti-bird because of it," Secre said.
"That would explain it," Meredy said.
"I wonder if touching the card return her back to a human, that would be the best possible explanation," Nami thought.
"Anyway, an earthquake hit where we were and then-," Secre said.
"And then you got sent here," Ristarte said to Secre, interrupting her in the process.
"How did you know?" Secre asked Ristarte.
"We all got sent here," Ristarte said.
"It's true," Beth said.
"You'll get used to this new world, and I know I have," Nami said to Secre.
"I need to know, are you girls friends with Dylan, or are you lovers?" Secre asked the girls.
"Actually the group is more like a harem," Nami said.
"A harem, really?" Secre asked the girls.
"Yes, it's true," Kinoko said.
"It's not just us, there are five more girls in this harem," Beth said.
"So, eleven girls?" Secre asked.
"Eleven girls, you are right," Nami said to Secre.
"And you all had sex with him," Secre said to the girls as Dylan was not hearing this.
"Yes we did," Kinoko said.
"I don't know if I could fall in love with him," Secre said as she puts her hands over her heart.
"You'll fall for him," Nami said to Secre.
"Trust us, you'll be smitten with him soon enough," Botan said to Secre.
After twenty minutes of lounging around, Secre wanted to get to know Dylan a bit more.
"Hey Dylan, can you come here?" Secre asked Dylan.
"Sure," Dylan said.
Dylan then gets up from the chair and could feel the effects from Secre's attacks. He then holds his ribs in pain as he walks over to the bed.
"Are you okay?" Secre asked Dylan in concern.
"Yes, I'm still hurt from you punching me," Dylan said to Secre.
"I know something that can heal your wounds," Secre said to Dylan.
"What is it?" Dylan asked Secre.
"Lay on the bed," Secre said to Dylan and then Dylan lays down on the bed.
Secre then gets off the other bed and then she gets on the bed Dylan was on. She then lifts up Dylan's shirt to see the bruises she gave him.
"Did I do that to you?" Secre asked Dylan.
"Yes," Dylan said.
Secre then holds her hands out as she was ready to see if this spell will work.
"I don't have my Grimoire with me, but I'm sure it will work," Secre thought.
"Closed Sorrow," Secre said as this glow appears on Dylan's body.
Then, the magic closes Dylan's injuries as he was now fully healed.
"Holy shit," Dylan said in shock.
"I can't believe it, it worked without my Grimoire," Secre said quietly.
"Thank you so much Secre," Dylan said to Secre.
"You're welcome," Secre said to Dylan as Dylan sits up and lowers his shirt.
Dylan then gives Secre a hug as he couldn't believe she could heal him this fast. Soon, Secre returned the hug as she could feel Dylan's warmth.
"I think the girls are right, he is a gentle bear," Secre thought.
Dylan then breaks off the hug as the girls look on.
"Hey Secre, can you heal me?" Botan asked Secre.
"Me first I got beat up pretty badly," Ristarte said.
"I was the one that got the worst of it," Meredy said.
"Girls, Secre needs some time to rest and get some healing as well, just give her space okay," Dylan said to the girls.
"Okay," the girls said as they were disappointed they couldn't get healed by Secre.
Secre then looks over to Dylan and then she looks down as she was smiling a little.
Later on in the day, Dylan and the girls spend the rest of the day in their hotel rooms, resting from their battles and getting healed by Ristarte, while Secre rest a bit.
Soon it was nighttime as everyone was fast asleep, Secre was in Dylan's hotel room as she was sleeping on the bed with Meredy and Kinoko. Secre then looks over to see Dylan sleeping quietly in his own bed.
Secre then quietly gets off the bed and slowly gets on Dylan's bed. She then lays down on the right side of her body and pulls the covers over her body.
Dylan then lays down on the right side of his body as Secre scoots closer to him. She then wraps her arms around Dylan's belly as the front of her body was pressed up against Dylan's back.
"Dylan is no Asta, but he definitely isn't a bad guy, I'm sure I will grow fond of him over time and he definitely loves me, I think this harem won't be so bad after all," Secre thought as she falls asleep, sleeping next to Dylan through the night.
That was certainly one gruelling battle, but Dylan and the girls have got a new member of the group and that being the Seal Magic user, Secre Swallowtail. That was quite honestly their toughest battle they had, but they will have harder battles in the future. But at least they got a powerful girl to help them with that. Anyway, here are the stats after this chapter.
