Nier Automata: The Last God
AN: Hello once again readers and man I didn't expect for my story to already have favs and follows. To be honest right before I went to bed, I saw on how many words was there and I was shocked it was 2k. I usually type over 20k-30k, but I guess I thought it was over 10k lol. Don't worry I'll rewrite it and make it a bit longer than usual.
Anyways, for the reviews again thank you for the love, I completely didn't expect it, this helps me on wanting to do better and to put more chapters out.
Also, to Hunter of Entities, I thank you for the advice, I actually tried to put in more of Xavier observing my version of Sam's sword, and another weapon.
I decided to have Xavier running into the other weapon in the next two chapters. Another thing, I understand that Xavier isn't freaking out about him being in a future-apocalyptic-war, but Xavier, aka me, was someone who freak out over every little thing when I was a kid, so my family members taught me to control my emotions in most situations. So Xavier (once again me) took it to heart and made sure I don't freak out, until after the situation is or somewhat resolved. But after a few or couple of minutes, then I'll freak out and begin to let the negativity effect me.
To which you'll see soon in this or the next chapter ;). But I do appreciate your advice and my mistakes, and I intend to correct them after I'm with the first two chapters.
With that being said here's the next chapter!
Oh! But before I do that this chapter will not fully follow canon in the game.
Now let's begin with the first chapter of the story!!

Chapter 1: letter from R.O.B and Save 2B and the others from there deaths!! Part 1
(1st POV)
After those words came out of my mouth, the first natural thing to do is to cry and to scream out loud in anger and despair, but I close my eyes, took a deep breath and let out a long exhale. I repeated this process for the next couple of minutes before I calm down somewhat. Granted, I still don't feel completely better, but at least I won't be more depressed and my thoughts isn't a mess right now.
'Right. Now first thing first, I need to see if any of my belongings got transported here as well.' I thought as I begin to look around near the place I woke up at. And surely enough, some of my belongings did get transported here with me. I see my bookbag, stuffed, and I immediately know it's packed with my clothes. The same goes with my duffel bag, making me smile in a bit of fondness since it use to belong to my 3rd cousin on my dad side of the family. Chuckling at all of the good times we had, I immediately began to walk towards the two bags to pick out a shirt, socks, and my shoes.
'Well at least things can't get any worse-' I immediately stop my thoughts, and stop myself from finding a new shirt, but was too late. "Yeah awesome plan Zae, you just provoked Murphy's Law. FUCK!! AAAAAGGGGHHH! GOD FUCKING DAMN IT!!"Zae practically roars out in frustration and anger, making the birds in the area fly away in fright, and spooking a certain android squadron nearby. But I also didn't know I was being watched by a certain scanner we all know. And that I almost gave his position away.
(Location: Inside the Abandoned Factory, 25 minutes earlier)
(3rd POV)
After 2B and her squadron made it inside the abandoned factory, she took the lead, since she was chosen to be the leader of the squadron, she look up and saw many different machine lifeforms in one of the manufacturing areas. "This place sure is big" 2B couldn't help but to say that out loud.
"Yeah and look at all of those machine lifeforms. Say, what do y'all think our creators would look like!?" 7E asked her in a excited cheerful manner, wanting to change the subject. Not only did this question made 2B stop for a moment, but the rest of the Squadron as well. 7E then noticed them looking at her with a 'Here? Of all places?' look, prompting her to blush brightly in embarrassment. "W-What!? I was just wondering on what you guys would think..." She said, still embarrassed as she poke her two index fingers together.
7E outfit is a mixture of a pencil skirt and a regular skirt that reaches a little bit over her thighs mid way, and the trenchcoat the split in two from the mid of her back. She has knee-high boots, black thigh highs stockings, her hair is tied up in the back of her head into a big braided open bun, and she wears a bow with black feathers and a big black flower in it. On the front of her outfit, in the middle of it, she has a big, black bow. The zipper she has on her outfit looks like a more intricate Fluer-de-lis symbol.
"7E, you know this is not apart of our mission." 2B told her, making 7E stammer a bit. "Furthermore we're not supposed to talk about them, especially behind enemy lines either." 2B said, while crossing her arms under her chest.
"2B is right." 1D said walking up behind 7E, making her jump a bit. "We can't have this discussions in enemy territory." 1D said sternly, making 7E deflate a little. 1D sighs before she place a hand on her shoulders, smiling softly at her. "We'll discuss it after we finish the mission, ok?" 1D said to her, getting an excited "ok!" from 7E.
The others look on with a smile, while 2B smiles slightly, nodding to 1D for the help. 1D has long white spiky hair that is tied into a ponytail. Her outfit would be the same like 2B, but her skirt is longer and reaches to her knees. 1D nods back to her as 2B spoke up once more.
"C'mon let's get back on track and finish this mission. And remember that emotions are prohibited." She said, though they noticed she said that last line in a robotic manner, like with no emotion in her tone whatsoever.
"Ummm... to answer your earlier question 2B, my guess is that this place use to be a human's weapons factory, but now this place is crawling with machines. I guess the machines Lifeforms are using to manufacture more of them." 9S explained to everyone, willingly ignoring 2B's earlier lack of emotion.
"So if we don't stop this Factory..." 2B trailed off, only to have 12H to finish her sentence.
"T-Then more of them w-would just keep on c-coming." 12H finished, as the air around them gets tense from the revelation. 12H wears a standard YoRHa gothic lolita outfit with thigh highs. She has long, straight black hair that reaches to her tailbone. The same goes for 4B but she has blonde hair tied into twin tails.
"As much as I hate to say it, but we should leave this place alone for now, then we can ask The Commander to stop this factory for good." 11B said, with her voice sounding tomboyish, with her slightly ahead of the group. Casually walking ahead, she twirls her sword in a lazy manner as she look out for any enemies ahead. 11B is the only one who has on the YoRHa battle suit, her hair red and spiky, as reaches a little bit close to the middle of her back.
She got a collective "right!" from everyone, nodding to 2B, as 2B continue to lead them towards their target. They reach towards an area that has four crates at the bottom. They jumped down there to make their way to the other side. But suddenly, the crates open up and a bunch of machines lifeforms exit out and surrounds the Androids.
"Enemy detected, engaged and eliminate all hostiles." She told her team, to which the others also bring out their weapons and begins to engage the machine lifeforms. 2B gets first blood as she slashes one across it's chest, leaving a gash on it, before she kicked it on said gash. It was sent into a group of 4 and blows up upon contact, greatly weakening them as she moves in to finish them.
She moves in and kick all four of them in the air, before moves at high speeds, slicing and cutting them. Once she was done, she slides back down on the ground with her sword already floating behind her. with her back to them as they explode in mid air once she turn around to face them. She turns to see 11B and 4B working together hacking and slashing machine lifeforms, before she turns her attention to 7E as swings her Glaive, [Noble Contract], towards the enemy. It leaves a small gash on it, but then it begins to have multiple gashes as she swings at blinding speeds. It begins to glow, but three more attack her from three different places.
She smirks at the attempt and she dodges at the right time, as four digital version of herself appear. Once she's out of the way, she jumps back a good distance and see the damaged machine lifeform exploded, killing all three of in the process. Afterwards she let go of her weapon as it disappear and appear on her back, as 7E jumping in up in the air, in a cheerful manner. This made 2B shake her head at this, the same goes for 1D.
A lone machine lifeforms tried to sneak up on 1D, but she uses her Pod to summon three digital hammers and crushed it with ease. After the explosion, 1D look towards 12H to see if she's alright. She sighs in relief as she is still protected by a barrier her pod had put up for her.
The last machine lifeform was taken out by 2B herself, as things begin to settle down as each one of them meet up in the middle of the area. "Is everyone alright? Any injuries?" She asks.
"I had a minor injury, but it's all healed up because of 12H. Thanks 12H." 11B said to her with a smile on her face. This makes 12H stammer, but accepted her thanks nonetheless.
"Good, now let's go, we're getting close to our target." 2B said as everyone else follow behind her, with 1D in the back as usual.
(20 minutes later, at the outside entrance of the abandoned factory)
The door opens as 2B and the rest of them make it out, going down the stairs, and stops close towards the ramp. 11B let's out a yawn, stretching her arms, hearing a few mechanical pops as she sighs in relief.
"Ah! Finally we're out of the disgusting, old, smelly factory!" 7E said, humming happily to herself. 1D sighs at her antics once more, as well as 2B. She then look out towards the ocean. Her mind begins to wander to 9S, wondering on why he was suddenly quiet. Her questions would soon be answer as her Pod gets a transmission from 9S and answers it.
"9S to 2B. 2B? You there?" 9S said through comms. 2B smiles in relief, glad to see that 9S wasn't trying to find something that he wasn't supposed to, or otherwise...
She shakes her head to clear her mind from those thoughts, as she answer him. "2B here, what is it 9S? You were silent during the time we was in the factory. Did you find anything?" She asked.
"Yeah. Apparently I got a transmission from the Commander herself." He said, making her and the other Androids pause from what they was doing and look at the holographic screen. After a moment, 2B regains her composure quickly and ask 9S in a serious tone.
"What did she tell you? An update about our mission?" 2B asked him, as the others gather around her and stare at the screen as well.
"No, we're still assigned to eliminate the target. She told me to investigate the area to where a large energy spike was near the abandoned factory. Though the energy spike came and left just like that. So The Commander wanted me to investigate it and to spy on it, to see if it was an unknown entity. It's one of the reasons why I wasn't talking throughout the mission ." 9S explained. 2B frowns in thought, as she and the rest of the girls begin to think about the energy spike and why was it-
"FUCK!! AAAAAGGGGHHH! GOD FUCKING DAMN IT!!"This made the birds nearby fly off in fright, as well as the Androids who heard that. Making 12H jump in fear, and lands in 11B's arms. 4B fumbles with her weapon a bit, while 7E, 1D, and 2B immediately drew their weapons, tense from that unexpected scream. But 9S was spooked the most as he almost fell over from the building he was stationed at to spy over the strange entity.
"W-What was t-t-that?" 12H asked the question on everyone's mind.
"I-I think it was the very thing I was supposed to spy on for the time being." 9S said, still a bit shaken up by the scream. he then look down and see- "An android?" He said in confusion, making the rest of the group confused as well.
(Zae's POV)
I breathe out in a bit of frustration, but then I let out a somewhat of a calming sigh. I then run my hand through my dreads and look over towards my bags, but then I notice a letter on my bookbag. Tilting my head a bit in confusion and suspicion from the letter's sudden appearance, making me feel wary about it.
But when I saw that it have the words "from R.O.B". Immediately I went for it and begin to rip open the envelope, opening it in a haste. Once I open it, I pull the letter out and begin to read it in my mind.
Dear Xavier, you must be wondering on why you're in the world of Nier Automata. Well it's quite simple really! I was tired of the same ole thing that happens over and over again. So I decided to take one human soul, give said soul a super human body, and give the soul weapons this it is familiar with, two swords and a pair of gauntlets and grieves. If you know, then you know. But they're in different locations, except the Katana that's near you. So if you entertain me enough then I'll let you ask me anything, that is within my power, and your desires and give it to you as a reward for changing this world's fate and for the show. Now go make your little wish come true.

P.S.S. I might let you go back to your world. I cannot promise to you that you can go back and stay, but you can see the people you love and know dear to you. Just give these Androids meaning once more. And end this war for all of them. Ok?
"..." I stare at the letter with a blank expression, before said stare turns into anger once I read the last sentence, but then I read the P.S. and my anger slowly dies down. I then let out a long sigh and look at my new sword. I then realized that I need to name my weapon, since it would be disrespectful to Sam if I kept the name Muramasa. So, with a name already in mind, I unsheathed the blade and give it a smile.
"I'll name you [Ryūjin No Shi], which means Dragon God of Death" chuckling darkly as I could already see the name fitting the sword quite well in my new life. I nod my head and open up my bookbag, take out a mostly black shirt, with a small bit of it being yellow with sprayed paint white wavy lines, green sprayed paint crowns on the left side, the same for the sleeves. In the center is a green sprayed paint word that say "KING", and has a white sprayed paint outline.
Smiling to myself, I put the shirt on and pull out a black and grey jacket that reaches to my mid thigh area. Spinning the jacket around and throws it over my shoulders, as I see a strap on the collar. Shrugging my shoulders, I strap the collar up and completing the look of one of my favorite Yugioh characters I remember watching as a kid. Smirking to myself at this, I place the sword back into it's sheath and place it on my back, surprised by that it sticks to my back. Before I could question this, I heard a metallic roar echo throughout the area. I look around and spot the old truck from in the game, running towards it a inhuman speeds, placing both the bookbag and duffel bag down, and once I set them down near the old truck and rush towards the direction of the roar.
"If it is what I think it is, then I'mma need to hurry and make there on time." I said to myself, moving at speeds a normal human doesn't move at. This surprised me greatly, but shook it off and prepare to jump up near the giant runway and ramp going downwards. The moment I bent my knees and jumped, I was shocked and terrified. Shocked that I jumped and was already close to the area I wanted to be, and terrified by how high I had jumped and lost my composure, since I genuinely have a fear of me falling from the sky.
"WOAH! WHAT THE HELL!? OH GOD OH GOD-"I screamed but it was interrupted by me hitting the fence. Before I could fall to my "doom", I quickly grabbed a hold on the fence and quickly begin to pull myself up and over the fence. Only for me to landed on the rusty old pile of pipes and groan loudly from the impact. "O-Ow! Fuck that hurt like hell..." I said, while getting up in a hurry, not trying to waste time on letting 2B and 9S go commit die when three other Engels arrives from the ocean.
Because suicide is not badass in my books, despite me saying it a lot, and me being depressed as fuck. At least I try to fix my life thank you very much!!
'Let's just hope I make it back in time in one piece and I don't get turned into barbecue bloody meat chunks with bones in them.' I thought to myself as I see it go underwater and... see the rest of the Squadron from the beginning of the game, already fighting the arms that 2B supposed to fight by herself?...
"..."
"..."
"Well call me Jerry Springer and fuck me in the ass, I think I just change the plot of Nier Automata for better or for worse." I said out loud, but then I noticed something I wasn't aware of...
"HOW THE FUCK CAN I SEE THEM CLEARLY FROM OVER 450 METERS!?"I screamed out loud once again to the heavens above.

AN: that's the end of chapter 1 folks!! And yes I know another cliffhanger, I'm evil. MUH WA HA HA HA HA HA! :3
Anyways with this one out of the way I'll get started on chapter 2. AFTER I rewrite the Prologue... kill me ;-;
Move on~! I'll see you guys later, because it's passed 5AM again. Good thing it's the weekends, and finals are next week so I won't be working on the other chapters until I'm done. Anyways next chapter will focus on fighting, but the beginning will introduce The Commander, 9S "little secret" mission to check out the large energy spike and watching the strange entity aka Xavier. But in the middle of the story it will be nothing but fighting. And the ending will have the Androids know what Xavier is. So be prepared for that!
