A/N: wow. Just wow. This story was made 5 days ago, and we're already have over 20 favs and follows. I honestly don't know what to say you guys. Thank you guys so much for the love and support guys!

Also to the two guests in my reviews, the feedback you two gave it's not good constructive criticism, one is alright, but the other one isn't. So to you two I have something to tell you, and many other people like you, this simple message. If you don't like it, don't read it.

Chapter 3: The Dragon God of Death arrives! And the Aftermath!

(Location: The Abandoned factory 1 hour and 50 minutes before his arrival)

(Xavier's POV)

I stand here and begin to wonder on how badly did I messed up the plot for Nier Automata.

'Ok ok, let's calm down for a moment here Zae and analyze the situation here.' I thought to myself, watching as the group and the Engel slowly begins to leave my line of sight after going over 1000 meters. 'Ok so, if I learned anything from reading a lot of SI fanfics, is that changing the plot in the beginning is usually a bad thing. But there are some good things that come out of it. And most of the time, the bad ones only happens to the SI MC if they reveal in-canon info to the main cast... But at the same time, it could be because of the SI MC bad lu-'

"Why must you waste time with overthinking the situation as of now and not help these Automatons you so desperately want to save?" A powerful, booming voice echo throughout my mind, making me let out a small girlish yelp. I then hear it laughing at me, no doubt from the girlish yelp I made. "For someone who is mostly stoic, you sure are quite jumpy." It spoke once more, chuckling softly at me.

This surprises me but that surprise leaves quickly and is replaced by anger and embarrassment.

"Oi! It's not my fault that I'm not use to voices THIS LOUD in my head!" I yelled out loud, not really bothered by me talking to myself. But I heard it's chuckling getting louder from my reaction. I decided to let it go and sigh out in frustration and defeat. "On that note... Who or what are you? Because like I said the voices in my head aren't really THIS loud." I said seriously, crossing my arms over my chest. It stopped laughing and became silent for a moment.

"Heh. Well the big man wasn't lying about your intelligence. Your self-awareness is better than most others. Impressive, hatchling." It said, as I heard a snort escape from him, but of praise. I then heard his tone turn into a serious one. "To answer your question, let me ask you one of my own. Do you truly want to know who AND what I am?" He asked me as his tone takes on a more grave, serious tone to it. If I didn't know any better I think he was trying to test my resolve and my will.

Scoffing softly in amusement at this, surprising him as I spoke to him, unflinched by his grave, serious tone.

"Hah, try me." I said with a smirk on my face as I'm feeling confident and motivated, like a certain Dark Slayer I know, ready for the awaited reveal. I heard him chuckle softly, but then it turned into a full blown, hearty laugh. It then calms down before I could feel it smirking in my mind before it told who and what it was, as my eyes widen in surprise and recognition when it revealed itself by the titles alone.

"I am The Destroyer, the end of all things. The World Breaker, as it quake underneath me! I am one of the oldest known watchers in this universe! I AM THE CATACLYSM!! THE DRAGON GOD OF WAR!! I. AM. DEATHWING!!! And all will burn beneath the shadows of my wings." He revealed to me, as he let's out a loud, bellowing roar throughout my mind. This made my jaw drop in awe and disbelief, but then it becomes one of excitement and barely restrained joy. "Hmmmm... So even you are terrified of me as well." He said with a seldom tone to it. This sudden action made me snap out of my funk and yelled at him, surprising him greatly by my reaction.

'What!? Are you kidding!? I'm not terrified of you! I'M FUCKING HAPPY THAT I HAVE ONE THE MOST BADASS DRAGONS TO BE MY PARTNER!!' I practically screamed, scaring away more birds.

"..." Deathwing was speechless by my declaration, before I hear him let out, yet another heartfelt laugh. Then he stops after a few moments and recollects himself, as I stand here, with a happy smile on my face. "I'll admit, after eons of constant war, death, and destruction, never once did I think any being out there would be so happy to be with someone like me." He told with a hint of sadness in his voice.

"Well sure, you did a lot of killing and other things, but I believe you was just a Dragon doing your duty that didn't get the appreciation for playing your role and is seen as an evil Dragon. And destroying and killing things aren't evil, it's apart of the cycle of life and death. One of the many things that keeps everything balanced in existence." I said, with a wisdom tone in my voice.

"Well color me impressed again, you got some wisdom under your belt hatchling." He praised me, making me chuckle sheepishly, with a small blush dusting my cheeks.

"I-it's nothing really, I just learn all of that from many different people. Both from the fictional world, and the non-fictional world." I said, scratching my head sheepishly, before I smile once more. "Plus I just really, REALLY love Dragons." I said with a happy smile on my face.

"I can tell." He said amused, but then he gets serious once more. "Now that you know me, why don't we help out those Automatons out before they commit suicide." He said, making my eyes widen frantically.

But I then calm down for a moment, and nods my head in agreement. Then take off once more into a sprint. But then I remembered the bridge and stop only a couple of feet away from the torn section of the bridge.

... And the rest of it that I can't see at all.

"Well that's one way to stop me from getting to them..." I said before I clench my fists in frustration and anger. "Damn it! Now how am I going to get over there to save them!?" I kick a nearby rock away at blinding speeds, making me raise a eyebrow at this. But then it's got a chuckle out of me, as Deathwing clears his throat to get me back on track. "Oh my bad Deathwing, I couldn't help but to laugh." I said while rubbing the back of my head.

"Right. Anyways, I believe there is another solution for us to get there. But I want you to trust me on this. Understand?" He said in a serious voice, as I nod my head. "Good now I'm going to give you some of my powers." My eyes widen at this, but my expression becomes serious once more. "Note, that this give you the powers that rivals that of most watchers from where I came from." I nod my head, though internally I'm shocked beyond belief.

'I'm getting powers that rival beings like the Watchers? Holy fucking shit dude! This. Is. AWESOME!!' I thought excitedly, as a smirk appear on my face. But then I was knocked out of my thoughts by Deathwing once more. His next words would then make me pause.

"In order for that to happen, we have to link souls with one another. This will not only let you use my powers for now on, but it'll grow with you along the way." He said, not noticing the big smirk on my face. But the a question comes into mind.

"Can I create portals right off the bat?" I asked him, as I hear him hums in thought.

"Yes you can create portals, but know this; it's kinda a risky move, you may end up at the other side of the world, in some sharp rusty metal pipes, or even some magma in one of these factories. And not even your healing factor, that can heal SOME mortal wounds, can't save you from being melted alive." He states with grim tone.

This made me shudder a bit from the thought of being melted and burn from the inside out, vaguely remembering a scene from a classic movie called "Volcano" I'd watched with my parents. Shaking my head away from those thoughts, I gulp softly and heed to Deathwing's words.

"Noted. GREATLY." Sighing softly, I close them before I open them again with determination. "Well we won't know until we try, so let's do this Deathwing!!" I said, determined to see this through.

"Ha ha ha ha ha! Good, that's the fire I love to see in you hatchling!" Deathwing said, getting ready to link his soul with mine. As he gets ready, I begin to close my eyes in preparation for the linking process. When he was ready I heard him giving me a warning.

"Oh and expect A LOT of pain by the way."

"Chotto matte?! YAMERO!!"I said, but was too late.

An aura of midnight black, mixed with a dark reddish orange color surrounds my body, as magma-like veins spread throughout my body. I screamed out in absolute pain and agony. I never felt so much pain in my entire life! And I played hood football, basketball, and baseball for God's sake!!

"Oh don't be such a baby, one of my previous hosts died from a fraction of what I'm giving you, even when he had an enhanced body. So suck it up and take it like a champ will ya?" He said, as he give off an impression my dad do-

'Dad... Mom... Chris... everyone...' I thought, remembering one of the reasons on why I'm doing this. Growling audibly to myself, I slowly take [Ryūjin No Shi] off my back and brings the soft, leathery handle to my mouth and immediately bite down on it. 'I'll go through as many hardships and suffering just to see you guys once more. Even I'm sent down to hell and to fight my back, then I'll do it!! I'll find a way to see you all one more time!!' I thought, as I slowly stand up with determination and sheer willpower alone, fighting through the pain.

(Deathwing's POV)

'Tch, this hatchling is something else. Reminds me of them...' I thought as he reminds me of my friends, the ones I considered family. Chuckling softly at his unyielding resolve, I couldn't help but to smirk savagely at the carnage and destruction he'll cause on his long grueling journey. 'He'll be a fine young warrior once I'm through with him.' I chuckle softly, as I focus once more on the linking process.

(Xavier's POV)

After what seems like forever, to which was about 10 minutes, I look up in the sky, [Ryūjin No Shi] flies up into the sky, as I let an inhuman roar. A midnight black, mixed with a dark reddish orange color, pillar of power shoot up in the sky, piercing through the clouds and reveals the blue sky.

(Location: The Bunker)

(3rd POV)

Back at The Bunker in the command room, multiple alarms going off on the big screen, all while saying WARNING: MASSIVE SPIKE OF OLD WORLD MAGIC NEAR THE ABANDONED FACTORY. This made everyone in the command room go quiet not expecting this at all. All of the Operators don't know what to do, so they look towards The Commander for orders. But to their surprise, they see her holding her hands over her mouth.

'T-This can't be... they're all supposed to be extinct, gone from this world. D-Does this mean that m-my prediction was c-correct?' The Commander thought, as she goes into a turmoil, her hands shaking from the revelation.

This made them even more shocked by her reaction, all of them not knowing on what to do next. That until 6O snap her out of it by yelling her name.

"Commander! Snap out it!" 6O yelled at her, catching her attention, and surprising her and the rest of the Operators. "We need you focus right now Commander." 6O said seriously, surprising everyone once more by how serious she is right now in this situation. She took notice to this and begins to stammer nervously. "I-I just thought t-that it would h-help..." 6O said, poking her index fingers together.

While the others look at her with disbelief and shock, surprised that 6O of all androids was the to snap The Commander out of her funk. White, on the other hand, couldn't help but to chuckle softly from how mature and serious 6O is right now.

"You're right 6O, I needed that. You have my gratitude." White said to her, with a smile. This made her eyes widen from that and the rest look at White with even more disbelief and shock. She clack her heels against the floor, gathering everyone's attention, and looks towards everyone. "We need to get back on track. Do we have any visual in the area to where the massive energy spike? And if it's the entity, does it have a energy signature?" White asked, getting back into her serious profession.

"No ma'am, we don't have any visuals, but the location is at the Abandoned factory. Currently the energy signature is-" she stops and her eyes widen at her screen. "-it just suddenly disappeared and suddenly ended up a good distances from 2B, and her Squadron." The random operator said, making everyone's pause for moment and look up at the Commander once more. Despite her surprise from the sudden location change, and responds to the random operator.

"Do we have a visual now?" White asked, hoping to see who or what this mysterious entity is.

"No ma'am but once he gets about 600 or 700 meters close our-" she was interrupted by a notification from a Pod. She was confused for a moment, before she shook her head and opens up the notification. Before her eyes widen from what she saw. She then look towards The Commander and tells the what had just came up.

"Commander! The entity has found a damaged Pod and is currently speaking with it! But the audio from the Pod that's currently with him isn't working." the random operator said, catching everyone's attention. The Commander narrow her eyes at the situation, before she nods her head at the random operator.

"I see. Thank you for information 59O" The Commander thanked the now named 59O, who went back to typing.

The Commander looked back towards the big screen as she watched the entity converse with the Pod.

Her widen slightly as she see him begin to run at sonics speeds, making her more curious about this entity.

(Location: Abandoned Factory, 5 minutes earlier)

(Xavier's POV)

After the pain subsides, I slowly open my eyes and push myself up in kneeling position. The first thing I saw was the metal scorched underneath me. I groan out loud, before I slowly stand back up and gripping my head from the headache I have right now.

"Rise and shine Hatchling. Do you enjoy you that little experience?" I heard Deathwing said with a hint of amusement in his tone. I mentally give him the finger, prompting him to laugh loudly in my head.

'He he ha ha very funny Deathwing.' I said through our mental link to one another, already knowing on how it work thanks to anime. ' Moving on from that experience... I do feel different than before. Like I'm energized to the max. Like my body is filled with a lot of energy." said to Deathwing, making him nod his head.

"Good, that means the linking process has worked. Now me and you are one." Deathwing said with a nod of his head. "Well since we already talked about it, why don't we start with you making a portal shall we?" Deathwing said, making grin like a kid in a candy store.

"Hell yeah! I can't wait to open portals like how Vergil does!!" I said, with the grin still on my face. If there was something I always wish I could do, and that is to be able to slice through dimensions like the devil sword [Yamato] could do.

"Vergil? Who is he?" Deathwing said in confusion, making me go 'oooh' and I explain it to him.

'You see, Vergil is the eldest son of The Legendary Dark Knight, Sparda. Sparda is a Demon who rebelled against The Demon King Mundus, and single-handedly defeated him and his army for the humans, due to him having what demons don't have. And that's a heart. He sealed off Hell and Earth from each other, and married a human woman Named Eva. They both have twins named Vergil and Dante. Dante is the youngest by the way.' I told him, as he hums in interest from the story.

"Interesting. A Demon who has a love and compassion for humans defeated an army by himself, and bested the ruler. An impressive feat, he must be a powerful warrior to do that." Deathwing said, before he spoke once more. "We'll continue this story another time. Right now it's for your first lesson." He said, as I get serious. "Now, first take out your blade." He instructed. I nod my head and unsheathed [Ryūjin No Shi] .

"What's next?" I asked, my eyes focused on the black blade in front of me.

"Next, you need to pour a good amount of Maso energy into the blade. Then once you do think of the location you need to go to. Note that if you don't keep your mind clear, it'll only open up to somewhere else in the universe." He told me in a stern tone.

"Right." I nod my head and I close my eyes, as I begin to pour Maso energy into my blade, mentally picturing my blade like a container. The Maso energy slowly begins to fill up the blade until it reached the top. I can see my blade glow as it has the reddish orange aura around it. I then heard Deathwing growl in approval.

"Impressive. You're quicker than some of my users." He commented, making me wonder about his previous users. "Don't worry about them, keep your focus on your blade." He told me, as I bring my focus back to my blade, maintaining the maso energy in the blade but it requires a lot of my focus.

"What's next?" I said, not trying to waste time.

"Now that hard part. Think of the exact location of the place you want to go to, and immediately slash at the air. And the location must be on the dot as well." He instructed me.

This made me gulp audibly, knowing this part would be the hardest part. Sighing softly I begin to calm myself and begin to think of the location I wanted to go. I then think of the bridge 2B was supposed to cross and I begin to think of that but a few thousand meters away from her and her team. Once I got the location down, immediately I slashed at the in an 'X' pattern as a tear in reality opens up. From the other side I can see the same bridge in front of me.

"Holy shit... Oh my God I did it!" I exclaimed, a huge smile on my face while I a pump a fist in the air. Before I could celebrate, Deathwing reminded me of my mission.

"Don't you have some Automatons to save? So less celebrating, more saving." He said, while he exhales through his nose. This comment made me stop and chuckle sheepishly. "Also there's something white floating near us, it's probably one of those "Pods" those Automatons have with them, it's on your left by the way. If you need me, I'm going to take a nap." He added before I heard him stomp off in my mind to his new home.

'Alright then, I'll call you when I need you for advice.' I replied back, getting a snort as a reply. I then look towards my left, and color me surprise he was right. Due to my enhanced vision, I spotted the Pod floating in the ocean, close to the shore. Looking back at the portal, I see it's not disappearing right now. Nodding my head at this, I angle myself just a bit, calculating on how close I'll be to it, and I launch myself towards the broken off section near the Pod.

Everything was moving in slow motion, as I'm slowly getting closer and closer to the Pod, then I grabbed it, while I'm still 10 or 20 yards from making contact to the erosive ground side. Thinking quickly, I flip my body around, my feet aiming at the ground side, as I look up at the portal once more.

'Alright let's see here...' I thought as look at the portal for a moment, before I see a single pole standing there by itself. 'Perfect! Just what I needed.' I thought with a smile on my face. Once I put my plan in motion, immediately I land the erosive ground side, launched myself off, getting close to the portal, with the Pod in hand, grabbing the pole, swinging around a few times, before I enter through and out the other side and lands with a roll.

Standing up, he gently dust himself off from the dirt and rust that got on his jacket. Once he gotten it cleaned off, he looks at the Pod and holds it in front of him.

'Now what?' I thought as I look at it, not sure on what to do. 'Welp, no time to dwelling on it to be honest, I worry about it later. Right now I'll have to- huh?' My thoughts was suddenly stop as I felt it shake in my arm. I then hold it up with both arms and look at it for a moment. I wait patiently for it to do whatever it's doing, before I heard a beep from it and it comes to life. It then floats there for a minute before speaking.

"Rebooting systems have been complete, however most systems are nonfunctional." It said out loud. I decided to speak to it.

"The percentage?" I asked it, as it turn it's head slightly to me, before answering.

"About 90% are nonfunctional, while 10% is functional." It said, then it suddenly ask another me a question. "Inquiry: may I ask, who are you?" It said, as it floats back a few feet away from me.

"Tell me what Pod number you are and I'll answer. Oh and what type of Pod are you as well." I said, while crossing my arms against my chest.

"I am Pod 1337. Designated: a scanner type." It told me.

I couldn't help but to laugh out loud at this, as I know that the R.O.B that sent me here has a sense of humor.

'Of course. Leave it to R.O.B to have this Pod to have the same number as the one Spartan in that anime-like episode in Halo Legends: The Odd One Out.' I thought to myself, as I continue to laugh for a good minute or two.

After that, I wipe a tear away and shake my head in amusement, leaving the Pod in confusion.

"Inquiry: Is there something about my name to be hysterical?" Pod 1337 said to me, making me chuckle a bit.

"In a way? Yes. But towards the number." I said, as it tilts sideways in confusion. "The number reminded me of someone who was always the odd one out from his group." I told it, while chuckling softly from the scenes in that episode.

"Acknowledged. Since you know my identity... I'll ask again: who are you?" Pod 1337 said to me.

"A Deal's a deal. My name is Xavier Moore, but you can call me Zae for short." I said with a smile.

"Greetings Xavier, it is a pleasure to be an acquaintance to you." Pod 1337 said.

"Likewise" I smile at Pod 1337, before my expression turns serious as I look at myself up and down. Then I grab [Ryūjin No Shi] from my back and holds in the traditional japanese way, with the blade pointing up in it's sheath and not down. "Alright it's time for me to make my debut." I said before I stretching my body, getting rid of any kinks out that will hinder me. After that's done, I get into a running position and calm my breathing. "Can you keep up with anything moving at sonic speeds?" I asked to the Pod, opening one eye to look at it.

"Affirmative, however I will probably be a exactly 3 seconds behind." My eyes widen at this, but nods my head.

"Good because I really don't want to leave you behind. Also, do your comms still work?" I couldn't help but to ask Pod 1337.

"Communications are functional, but the visuals and a one way audio comms are the only ones that works I'm afraid." Pod 1337 informed me.

"So that means they can only see me and hear me then..." I said muttering to myself. "Does it works now at this range?" I asked.

"I'm afraid not, something is blocking all communications from to The Bunker. Hypothesis: I believe there is multiple Goliath class machine lifeforms close to our area. Suggestion: perhaps taking them out would solve the problem." Pod 1337 concluded. "But is Xavier well equipped to be able to do such a thing?" Pod 1337 asked, making me smirk at him.

"That's something for me to know, and for you to find out." And with that, I sped off, with Pod 1337 following after me.

(45 minutes later)

So, I realized how much stamina I have honestly it's a bit terrifying. Don't get me wrong, running at fast speeds for long periods of time is pretty much what anyone who watches comic shows, video games, anime, and etc, wanted to do. But I realized something, with such power, one must have good control over their powers. Plus if one we're to have a very creative, imaginative mind to boot? The possibilities are endless, and they'll become Unstoppable if they have time to train.

'Maybe that's the reason why a lot of us isn't isekai'd with all of our memories...'

"Well giving the circumstances, most are just given the powers and quickly becomes corrupted with power, others last a bit longer, while very few don't corrupt so easily." Deathwing explained. "Usually it's always the ones sitting on top to either put some in their place or just outright kill them. By that I mean like erase them from existence type of thing." Deathwing said with a shrug of his shoulders, making me sweat drop at his nonchalant attitude.

'Let me guess, some of are the ones with the power of a Gamer?' I thought with a somewhat of deadpan look.

"Correct."

"Yare Yare Daze... honestly, I shouldn't be too surprised." I mutter to myself. "Well it's not like all of them are bad, At least there are some good ones, and the grey ones who have dignity." I said, as Deathwing hums in agreement.

"Anyways, you're not far from where they're at." Deathwing informed me, as nod my head in response. "So do you have any ideas on how you should introduce yourself to them?" He asked me, making me slide to a stop.

I look towards my right and see Pod 1337 stop next to me, as I look ahead of me and was shocked that I see even further than before. Narrowing my eyes I see 2B already about to finish up the Engel she's fighting, as she stabs it in the eye and explodes, sending her flying on top of it.

"Warning: multiple Goliath class machine lifeforms approaching Units 2B, 1D, 11B, 4B, 7E, 12H, and 9S." Pod 1337 informed me.

Not trying to waste time I immediately spring into action. I grab the Pod next to me and said, "wrap your arms around my neck, and make sure you have a good grip as well."

It obeyed and wraps it's arms around me neck tightly, but not too tightly to be uncomfortable. Once it does, I unsheathed [Ryūjin No Shi] and immediately takes off like a certain blue Hedgehog. I look ahead of me, already seeing them appear from the ocean. Noticing this and my body reacted on instinct. I immediately close my eyes, jumped in high in the air, poured a large amount of Maso energy into my blade, and swing it toward the Engel on the right.

Once I open my eyes and approached the bridge again, a bit of fear is shown on my face, my heart racing in fear of me dying from falling. But I quickly shook it off and narrow my eyes as I make myself descend faster towards it. My heart still racing in fear, I immediately flip my body and lands into a roll, landing safely on the bridge. I look back towards Pod 1337 to check on it, and let's a sigh in relief that's it's not more broken than before.

Once I saw it's alright, I look back towards 2B and the others and dashes off once more.

"I detected Old World Magic coming you and the blade you possess." Pod 1337 said from over my shoulder, getting closer and closer to the group. "Inquiry: Does Xavier possess Old World Magic? And if so is Xavier a human being?" Pod 1337 asked me.

"All will be revealed once we reach the group, so in the meantime, why don't you relax and enjoy the ride for a bit." I said with a smile on my face, as I pour more Maso energy into my sword, but it's less than before.

With a grunt, I swing my blade diagonally through the air. A small portal appears a few meters away from me. As I hear the group discussing on what's happening, and who sent that energy wave at the Engel. Smirking to myself, I get closer to the portal before I heard Pod 1337 say this.

"Notice: I'm now capable of two way communications right now."

This made my smirk increase more as I begin to hear them from the other side. Once I see the light on the other end of the portal, I slowed down my speed, walking out of it, towards the exit, and hear one of the asked "Since when 1D?" seeing one of female Androids in the YoRHa battle suit with red spiky hair say that. Chuckling to myself I decided to speak.

"Since the very humans who used to walked on this very earth sweetheart." I said, walking out of a portal, and disappears in a flash. I walked up to them with smile, as they all look at me with shock. "So let me put your hearts or black boxes at ease, because..." I sigh out loud, going to regret it later. But then I glare at the remaining two Engels and point my sword at them, the dark grey lighting dancing wildly around the blade. "Your God has come to save you all from your deaths!!" I declared, with a smirk on my face.

(OST: Thirty seconds to mars, this is war)

I hold my hand out towards the Androids, making them confused by the sudden action. Then they all let out a small scream, as a powerful force pushes them back a good distances away. Satisfied with the distance, I immediately jump up in the air, as both of the Engel's attacks narrowly misses me, and destroys part of the bridge.

"Alright that was a bit too close for comfort." I look over my shoulder and still see Pod 1337 around my neck. Mentally facepalming at this, I then grab him with one hand and pried him off of me as we descend back to the bridge. "I honestly forgot you was still around my neck 1337." Smiling sheepishly, I look down to where 2B and 9S is at and dives down towards them, putting Pod 1337 back on my neck.

But before I could make towards them, I sliced a couple of missiles into pieces, while dodging a few of those energy bolts too. Grunting in a bit of annoyance, one of them thrust it's arm at me in blinding speeds, trying to swat me out of the air. But I grip my sword with two hands, readying myself.

Once the attack came close, I dodged the attack by flipping in the air and swing my blade at it's hand. My sword cleanly slice through bucket wheel, but not completely cutting through, only stopping half way. Noticing this, I flip myself right up and readjust my grip on [Ryūjin No Shi] .

I then plant my feet on it's hand, and begin to run across it, while I dragged my blade along with me. As I do this, I notice it sends more missiles at me, as well as it's partner. Thinking quickly, I thought multiple of arrowheads, but they was made out of Maso. Once they came into view, I immediately send them towards the incoming missiles directed at me, as each one of them exploded on contact. Then I realized I was getting close to the forearm part of the machine, gripping my blade tighter.

Then with a scream out effort, I sliced cleanly through it's entire forearm. as I see it the two halves fall into the ocean.

I couldn't stop the grin from spreading across my face, and who could blame me? I just sliced a huge, dangerous machine lifeform's forearm off like a badass!! But before I could celebrate, Deathwing screamed at me.

"Hatchling, look out!! Another attack coming in! From above!" Deathwing warned me, but was too late.

My eyes widen as I look up and saw it barreling down towards me. Not having enough time to attack it, so I brought up my blade and tried to parry it.

It worked, but not completely.

Once it connected to my blade, I felt the bones in my arms rattle from the impact. I was sent flying back towards the bridge at sonic speeds. knowing that this landing would hurt a lot, I conjured up a somewhat good barrier around me and Pod 1337, grabbed said Pod, wraps my arm around it and closes my eyes, bracing myself for impact.

The barrier didn't last as it shattered upon impact and my body took the brunt of it. First I felt my a couple of my ribs broke upon impact, then it follows up with my right forearm cracking, I felt something scrape harshly against my scalp, as blood flowed from the wound, my ears ring, my left wrist broke, and a broken right ankle.

Once I stopped rolling, I couldn't really hear that good, my vision fading in and out, and I felt really nauseous. but despite this, I push down the urge to vomit a d slowly regaining my bearings. I then heard Deathwing's voice ringing throughout my head, making me groan out loud.

"Finally you're regaining more of your consciousness." Deathwing said, sighing in a bit of relief.

'Ugh, did someone get the number of the truck that hit me?' I decided to humor in a situation like this, earning a groan from Deathwing.

"Now is not the time to be joking around." He said seriously, making me mutter and apology. "Don't be sorry, be better. Now, you should open your eyes hatchling. You have those Automatons worrying sick about you." He told me, making me confused for a bit before I heard many female voices around me.

This made me open my eyes and sits up in a jolt, to which was a very bad idea as I felt excruciating pain spread throughout my body. this made me close my eyes and coke out a gasp, clenching my teeth together to bite back a scream.

"H-Hey you sh-should get up so fast! You'll only make the injuries even more worse if you d-do so!" a nervous voice said, making me pause, and open up my eyes. I see a long black haired Android, wearing what look like the Standard YoRHa outfit.

"U-Uhhh right t-thanks, M-My bad." I said, while chuckling. But it only proves to be a mistake, grimacing from the pain in my ribs. This cause her and the others to gasp out in worry, as 4B yell at 12H.

"12H can't you hurry up and heal his wounds!? if you don't his condition will get worse!" 4B said, looking at 12H with a worried, but frustrated look on her face. I look and see the others look on in worry.

"I'm trying but I don't know how to treat his wound from the inside!!" 12H yells back, with tears in her eyes. The group eyes widen from how she reacted and from the revelation. She hangs her low as she begins to cry, making the other tear up realizing they can't heal my grievous wounds.

"O-Oi! will y'all get it together!" I said, catching all of their attention. "it's not over yet, and I ain't out for the count yet! I refuse to kick the bucket this early!" I declared, ignoring them for a minute as he talks to Deathwing.

'Deathwing, how much Maso do I have left?' I asked him.

"Not much, only for one more slash attack, and enough to heal you for a few hours." He told me, as I nod my head at this.

'better than dying so early.' I thought as nods in agreement. 'So tell me what I need to do.' I said as he begins to instruct me.

"Think of a warm, gentle embracing sensation in your chest." He told me, as I begin to imagine something embracing my heart. "Good, now let it sit there inside your heart for a couple of seconds and it'll take care of the rest." He said, nodding my head as I let it sit inside my heart for a couple of seconds. Then I felt my wounds begin to heal, sighing in a bliss. I then open my eyes and see the Androids look at me in concern, but relief forms on their faces as they see my eyes open again.

"Thanks goodness you're alright sir! you had us fearing for your life!" 7E said to me, as I recognized her outfit. she then get close to my face and pouts cutely at me, as a huge blush form on my face from the close proximity and from how cute she looks up close. "Don't scared us like that again, understand mister!" 7E said to me.

"U-Uhhh, s-sure! w-will do m-ma'am!" I said nervously, as look off to the side, and upwards...

only for me to look back down with an even bigger blush on my face. The reason? it's because 1D and 2B are standing on my right, to where I was looking up, getting a view up their skirts.

"..."

"Chotto matte." I look back towards 1D and 2B's direction and look at 2B with a bewildered expression on my face. "H-Hey wasn't you and that boy on top of one of those huge destroyed Robots?" I said, feigning ignorance about me knowing their names.

"I was sir, but lucky my flight unit was still intact and I got me and 9S out of there." 2B said.

"Oh ok." I said, not knowing that flight unit she jumped out from the game, that went off screen, was still intact. "Well what about 9S then? Is he here?" I asked, as they look towards my left, making me look as well. I see 12H healing 9S, as I see him with his hand outstretched towards something, making me a bit confused by this. But I then realized what it was for and look to see the last Engel struggle to move towards our position. "Damn 9S." I said out loud as I nod my head, impressed by the feat he's doing while injured. Catching his attention, he towards me and chuckles sheepishly at the praise.

"O-Oh there's no need to praise me about this. it's what us scanner units do." he said, blushing a bit from the praise.

"Still though that's no easy feat while injured, so take it with pride. You hear me?" I said with a serious expression on my face, making him gulp and nod his head while saying, "Yes sir!". "And stop calling me sir, I'm not old yet, so call me Xavier or Zae, understand?" I told all of them, as some of my serious wounds are healed, except for a broken rib or two, and a fractured skull.

"Now if you'll excuse me..." I slowly begin to get up, but not before 4B grabs me by the shoulders and place me back down on her lap, making me blush brightly from realizing what my head is currently on.

"Oh no you don't! you're not going anywhere until we get you out of here!" 4B concluded, making me groan out in annoyance.

"Seriously?" I said, frowning up at her, as she frowns back in response.

"Yes. You're not going anywhere until you're out of the danger zone Xavier sir." she said, getting a groan in response from me. As she does not letting me finishing my fight with the Engel, and from calling me sir once more. But then something cross my mind, before I asked them.

"Where's [Ryūjin No Shi]?" I asked out loud, worried that lost my blade already.

"You mean this?" I heard the one in the battle suit speak, while holding my sword up. This made me sighs in relief, but I notice the blade doesn't have the dark grey electricity around it. "Though when I wanted to see if lightning field comes on, it doesn't. This thing keeps on saying ID lock whenever we tried to use it." she said.

"That's because it only activates whenever I use it, making me the only capable user of wielding it with the lightning around it." I explained to her, and to everyone else. This causes them to look at the blade in wonder.

"So only you can use it with the electricity around it? As it helps you easily slice through that one Goliath's class machine lifeform's arm?" 1D asked, getting a nod from me.

"It's a high frequency blade, one of the rare one too." I said, getting up and exhales, my breathing becomes a bit more stable, shocking them all by this.

"B-But h-how?" 12H asked in disbelief and bewilderment, before Pod 043 explains.

"I believe Xavier was using Old World Magic to give himself a minor healing factor while he was resting." Pod 043 said. "However it didn't heal all of his injuries, as he still have two broken ribs, a fractured skull, and a sprained ankle." Pod 043 concluded, surprising everyone including me, but my surprise was directed towards the sprained ankle.

'Well shit fire now, I really do need to end this quick before-'

"KILL!!"

'Before the Engel breaks free...' I thought to myself. as I look up, only for eyes to widen in shock and horror as it raise it's arm up and brings it down towards us. before I could close my eyes and accept death, Deathwing calls out to me, and everything slows down.

"Hatchling, I'd slowed down to you that I have a plan!! so listen very carefully to what I have to say!!" He exclaims, as I gain a serious expression and nod my head, as he tells me his plan.

My eyes widen a bit from his plan, before a sadistic smirk appear on my face.

'I'm all for it DW!!' I said to him, as he chuckles darkly at my willingness.

"show em what you're made of Hatchling!!" He said with some excitement in his voice.

"GLADLY!!" I screamed out, as time flows normally again. I then pour all the remaining Maso energy into my body, ignoring the Androids crying out my name.

(3rd POV)

(MGR OST: Rules of Nature)

What Zae did next make every single android look at him shock and awe, from what he did next.

He stopped the bucket wheel arm from hitting the bridge, as his body is covered in charcoal black scales. He shocks them even more when he slowly lifts it up in the air, turning 180 and threw it high up in the air. Panting heavily as he's pushing beyond his limits, they hear him give an order to the Pod he came with.

"Pod 1337! throw me my sword!!" they heard him say.

"Acknowledged." Pod 1337 said, before it takes [Ryūjin No Shi] from 11B's grasp, making her yelp in surprise, and throws his sword back to him.

Catching his blade, he immediately blast off a couple meters away, before he jumps high up in the air and lands on the Engel's arm. he then coat his sword in reddish orange aura as he stab it into the limb, as the said limb glows an orange color as Xavier jumps down towards the ground and lands on his feet with a pained grunt. The arm explodes, as raining debris falls on the bridge.

But Xavier wasn't done yet.

"Alright, now comes the exciting part..." getting into a stance, as if he's ready to thrust his sword forward as a black reddish orange aura explodes around him. All the Pods, and the Bunker sensors begin to say, "WARNING LARGE AMOUNTS OF OLD WORLD MAGIC GATHERING INTO THE HUMAN NAME XAVER."

But none of them was paying attention to that, all of them was looking at Xavier, and the falling Engel that was charging up it's laser. This made The Commander fear for the last human- No their Last God's life and immediately told 2B and her group to get him out of there. They immediately spring into action and blitz towards him, while warning him to move.

But Xavier didn't move from his spot, the aura gets bigger and bigger. Then suddenly, the black, reddish orange aura disappears in a second, confusing 2B's group, and the Bunker greatly. But then 4B notice something.

"Look! his blade!" 4B exclaimed, making everyone look towards his blade as it glows brightly.

Then Engel fires it's laser down Xavier, making all of the Androids watching him, cry out in fear. But Xavier has a small battle hungry grin on his face.

"EAT THIS YOU OVERGROWN TIN CAN!! [SHIN NO RYŪJIN HOKO!!] Xavier roared out, thrusting his sword up to towards the laser, a huge laser exits from the tip. The two laser met in the middle, as they have a power struggle for a few seconds. But eventually Xavier's attack won in the end, blasting through the Engel's attack, and the Engel itself. As the attack leaves a gaping hole through it's head and out the back.

The androids was left in awe, seeing a Human destroy a Goliath-Class enemy with such power!

But before 2B and her group could finally rest, a quake shakes them back into reality as the Engel's destroyed remains crash on the bridge, causing it to collapse on itself. Then they hear something being cut open. Turning around and they see Xavier holding 9S over his shoulder, waving them over.

"C'mon! let's get out here before the portal closes!!" He said, while breathing heavily, pushed beyond his limits.

With nothing else to be said, 2B lead them towards the portal, as Xavier throws 9S through first, getting and "Ow" from him on the other side. yelling "My bad!" he ushers them hurry it up as the portal begin to get smaller and smaller. Not wanting to die in the waters, they pick up the pace, as 2B, 7E, 11B, and 1D makes through.

Nodding his head, Xavier look back towards 12H and 4B make their way towards the portal. But out of nowhere, a thin laser pierced through 4B abdomen, making her fall and cry out in pain. 12H eyes widen in horror at this and tries to help her up, but was pushed out of the way by Xavier. He deflects the next incoming laser shot directed towards 12H. He looks around and tries to spot the culprit, but clicks his tongue when he couldn't find the one who shot that laser.

His focus goes back to 4B, who was currently holding her stomach in pain. 12H begins to reach out and heal her wound, but a powerful quake shakes her and Xavier off balance.

looking towards his right, he can see the collapsing bridge getting closer and closer to them. Not trying to waste time, he holds 4B in a bridal carry, and knees down.

"Quick!! hop on my back!!" Xavier exclaims to 12H.

"B-But I c-can't! Y-You're still injured a-a-and-!" 12H said, but was interrupted by Xavier.

"12H we don't have time!! hop on my back! NOW!!" He roared at her, causing her to squeak out in fear and hops on his back, and blast off at high speeds. But due to his sprained ankle, trouble breathing, and the added weight he's carrying, he's not moving at full capacity.

But the collapsing bridge reminds him can't let his injuries slow him down. So, with great effort, he speeds up a bit more, but the collapsing bridge still catches up to them. this makes both 12H and 4B fearing for both their own and Xavier's lives. As they get closer and closer to the ever decreasing portal, the other section begins to crack, before it too begins to fall. This makes 12H and 4B's eyes widen in terror, while Xavier's eyes widen from shock. Then they fall down to meet the cold embrace of the ocean. 12H and 4B hug Xavier tightly, hoping he could save them from dying in the ocean.

'I'M NOT GOING OUT LIKE THAT!!' He thought as he analyze a way to get back up their and found his solution. Nodding his head to himself, he lands on a broken piece of the bridge and immediately leaps off of it. he sees another one and leaps off of it as well, leaping from debris to debris like a frog.

the girls was in awe by this display of agility by their creator. But they turn their focus elsewhere and they see the portal up above them, but it's smaller than before. They look up at it with shock and dread, before they look at Xavier.

Xavier looks at the portal and growls in annoyance, but calms down eventually. he then close his eyes, bent his legs all the way down, before he leaps up at sonic speeds, and goes through the portal and makes it at the other side as the portal closes behind them.

Once they made it through, Xavier let's a shaky breath and sighs in relief, as he felt 12H hop off his back while he go set 4B down near the a old generator. Once that was done, he immediately begins to fall over from exhaustion. But 1D and 2B caught him before he could hit the ground.

"Thanks girls, cause that would have been painful for my two broken ribs..." He thanked them, making them blush from the praise. "Fuck my head is killing me, I think I might have a headache now." He said, touching the spot to where his head was bleeding and flinches from the pain.

"Nope I think I have a slight concussion..." He said as his field of vision have white spot in them. "Yup I'm going to pass out now from the concussion, goodnight everybody~" his last words was before he was unconscious.

The last thing he heard was the girls calling to him with worry and concern in their voices.

A/N: And that's a wrap folks! The end of Chapter 3 of The Last God!! Not gonna lie, didn't to type over 40 or probably 50k words in this chapter, but I wanted to make it interesting.

But hey at least we got some more action and for our MC to shine a little! ;D
