Nier Automata: The Last God

So hey. So Yeah... sorry. I know I said was gonna update a day after, but some things have been happening during the past month, I was focused on getting into shape, trying to fill out a job application, talking to some friends online, and I spent some time with the homie. So again I'm sorry for not updating like I promised. So let's get this chapter on the way.

Also! Another thing, this chapter will be split into four parts. Because of some of the fights will be longer than what was in the game. So yeah, I'll make it as interesting as possible. That's all!

Chapter 5: Journey to The Desert and New visitors? Pt1!

(Xavier's POV)

I stare at the androids for a minute or two before I close my eyes, shaking my head and sighs out loud.

"Alright so first things first, at ease." They stop saluting at me, nodding my head at this. "Second, is that I need you all to not refer to me as a God. I'm still very much human." I said, but I see them wanting to refute, but a stern glare at them stops them from saying anything else.

"Then if you're not a God, then explain to us on how you destroyed three Goliath class machine lifeforms?" 9S asked, as I smile at his question.

"Good question 9S." He sheepishly rubs the back of his head. "It's simple really, I'm just super human, who uses Old World Magic is all." I said, shrugging my shoulders. Then I see 11B, tilts her head in confusion at this.

"Old World Magic? Is that during the time to where the humans has world pandemic... ummm, what was it called again?" 11B said, while scratching her head.

"White Chlorination Syndrome" I said in a serious tone, looking towards Pod 1337 as I nod my head.

"Acknowledged. Begin recording" said Ppd 1337.

I then begin to explain it to them. "It was one of major things that brought Humanity to it's knees. Not only that, but the was group that came out of nowhere and began to to kill humans left and right. This group was known as The Legion." I said, taking a moment for it to sink in before I continue on with the explanation. "But how they came to be was a mystery, until Neltharion, Deathwing's REAL name, told me." Once I said that, the back of my right hand began to glow once more and Deathwing spoke.

"How do you know-... ah I see now. Very well then, continue with the explanation." Deathwing said, as the glow on the back of my hand doesn't go away. I nod my head and look back towards the group.

"Anyways, the birth of The Legion was all because of the WCS itself. Many don't this but the what happened in Shinjuku City, Japan, is where something supernatural happened. Something unimaginable. A huge grey color figure of a woman fell from the sky and landed in somewhere in the middle of Shinjuku City. What followed after it was a Dragon with a person on it's back." I take a moment to let out a shaky breath, as shiver of fear goes down my spine. This made the androids worried for me.

"Xavier sir? Are you okay?" 1D said, worried for my health. I then slowly begin to regain my composure and exhales.

"Yes, I'll be fine. I just remembered having a nightmare of the said grey figure." I said, as my left hand instinctively goes to my Abdomen, getting the attention of the androids, and Deathwing.

"Ah yes THAT dream... I didn't expect for you to be there." Deathwing said with an apologetic tone, surprising the androids. But I give the reddish orange circle a soft smile.

"So I knew it wasn't a fluke... It's alright Neltharion, none of us knew we would be in the same place. Actually that's what I wanted to know... was that from one of your battles with The Queen Beast...?"

"Indeed... it was a memory I'll remember to my dying breath..." Neltharion said, with a sad tone in his voice.

"Hey buddy, you don't be worry. I'm sure they've know it's not your fault, and that they still forgive you. It's you that has to forgive one's self for the things you've done during your life. Not only that, but to be at peace as well." I said, unintentionally giving out some helpful life advice to a certain android. I could see her body twitch and tense a bit, before she relax her body.

"Once again your wisdom shows itself once more. Very impressive Hatchling." Neltharion said to me, making he blush in embarrassment once more.

"O-O not in front of the androids." I said, making some of them chuckle at our interaction.

"Anyways, you should put this interaction on hold and worry about putting some clothes on hatchling. It's rude to stand in front of a bunch of ladies and showing your manhood to them." Neltharion said bluntly, causing the female androids to look back down. They blush once more. This made me sigh out loud, and go to where my clothes are at. But I turn my head to the androids and point towards the door.

"All of you please, wait outside so I can get dressed. Pod end recording and delete it from your memory bank please." I said, snapping out their trance and they exit the room. Pod 1337 replied with a "Acknowledged. Stopping and deleting the recording" before he floats over to my side. 9S being the last one as he stops and looks towards my direction. I notice this and stare at his face, the both of us staring at one another for a good minute. Then the both of them nod at the same time and give each other the two finger salute, as he closes the door behind him.

"Seems like you have already formed a bond with one another." Neltharion said, amused.

"Well me and him are the only guys in this little group and knowing how he acts, it's pretty self-explanatory that we'll get along. Plus he's pretty laid back when he's not asking me multiple questions. Oh and I'm calling you Neltharion for now on." I said, making Neltharion laugh.

"That is fine by me, I rather be called by my original name then that one. Also, how I looked into your memories." Neltharion said as I pause from putting on a plain black shirt, before I move to the bed and sit down on it.

"And what is your response and reaction?" I said to him, looking at my right hand.

"Well it does explain on how you knew that they was going to be attacked by the machine lifeforms." Neltharion said.

"Yeah." I said, while put on a navy blue jeans. "I knew about it from the game they originated from." I replied quietly, making sure that my voice is low.

"Does that include on how you knew my names and titles?" Neltharion said, making me pause for second and nods my head. "And let me take a guess, this version of me was evil?" Gaining another nod from me. "Any reason on why he was evil?" Neltharion asked me, stunning me for a moment before I answered his question.

"Some old mad gods made you go insane." I said bluntly, as he sigh out loud.

"Well I can see why that version of me would listen to those old mad gods. At least it's not any worse than the other versions of myself..." he said, making my eyes go wide.

"THAT bad?" I asked, as he let's out a grunt of dissatisfaction. "Well at least you're better than most of them, and is still alive." I said, trying to cheer him up.

"I guess you're right. Besides I'm not them and they're not me. They chose to go down that path and ending up getting them killed as failures. I did not and gain greater power than them, and I was the victor in the end." He said, sounding proud about his accomplishments.

"Yeah, that's the spirit Neltharion!" I said out loud, as I walk over to my shoes and put them on. After I do, I see [Ryūjin No Shi] in the corner of the room. Smiling softly at it, I walk up to it and grab it and hangs it against the left side of waist. I then put on my jacket, as it has a few sowed in spots and I throw it over my shoulders and button up straps once more. Nodding to myself at the final touches, I immediately go to the door and walk out of the room I was staying in...

As I was greeted with 1D, 12H, 4B, 7E, and 11B standing on guard in front of the doorway. My right eye twitches at this, they look back towards me and moved aside. Giving them a smile and a nod, I look to 1D and asked.

"Where is 2B and 9S?" I asked her, as I have my usual scowl on my face.

"2B and 9S are over to where The Resistance Leader, Anemone is at sir." 1D said, as my right eye twitched from being called sir once more.

"Thank you 1D, and please stop calling me sir, I'm too young be called that. And it makes me feel old... call me something else." I told her, and the rest of group. I then see 7E happily jumping up and down, like a child wanting to be called on in class. "Yes 7E?" I said.

Her smile brightens up more, making me smile brightly as well. But she asked me something that made me question if R.O.B is actually getting a kick out of this.

"Instead of us calling you sir, or God. Can we call you master then?" She said in a pleading manner, as this made the other look at her with a stunned expression.

"Say what?" I said out of habit. Then mind went into overdrive after a split second, a huge blush on my face as my lips twitch upwards. Luckily I snapped out of it, looking at 7E with the blush still present on my face. "A-Anything else besides that!?" I yelled out, not caring if I caught a few androids attention.

"Awww why not? It sounds better if we called you Xavier-sama~" 7E said, teasing me at the end of her sentence. This made all of the YoRHa androids blush as the thought of calling me master sounds appealing.

Me on the other hand, my mind went deeper down in all of my lewd thoughts. My mind going lightspeed by the many lewd thoughts passed by. As I couldn't stop a perverted giggle escaping my lips from all of the many possibilities. But I was snapped out of my thoughts once more, but by Neltharion this time.

"Oi hatchling, now is not time to have your mind to be clouded by lust. I do not wish to see and know what you want to do to some of these Automatons in the bedroom." Neltharion said, annoyed that his nap was interrupted by a bunch of lewd mental images.

"Y-Yeah, noted Neltharion." I said, shaking my head away from the lewds thoughts. I then sigh out loud, before speaking. "Just call me by my name please. Maybe, JUST maybe I'll be fine with that, but right now it's Zae or Xavier. Understand?" I said to them, getting a salute from them, and a "Yes Xavier!" as well. Nodding my head at this, I spoke once more "Good now I'm going to go see 2B and 9S, I want the rest of you to stay here at the Resistance Camp. If The Commander want you to do something then go ahead, I'll be fine and stay close to the Resistance Camp." I give them my orders, as they salute once more.

"No problem sir- I mean Xavier, we'll tell The Commander that we'd followed your orders." 1D said in her usual serious tone. I look at the rest of them, as each one of them gives me a nod.

"Good." I said, smiling as I was going to leave. But I stop and turn back to them. "I guess I'll let y'all called me sir on mission and stuff, but on break call me by my name and nickname." I said.

"That's fine Xavier, we'll make sure to inform The Commander about this as well." 1D said with a smile, as I nod my head to them, as I turn around and head to where 2B and 9S are at. As I do, my mind drift off from the recent events and encounters from the Engels.

"Thinking about your recent battle with those machines?" Neltharion said in our mental link. I nod my head at his question, as my body felt nervous from the previous events on that day.

'Yeah... I had a few close calls. If I honestly didn't have the intelligence and self-awareness, I probably would be dead back then.' I said, gripping my right arm a bit. 'Let's not forget my family and friends don't know I'm gone...' I said sadly, as tears forms in the corners of my eyes. Neltharion doesn't say anything as he listens to me talk. 'I don't really care all that much if I die, but the ones closes to me is what really scares me. I constantly have these worrying thoughts in my mind on how would my mom, brother, or my dad would react to my death. Not only them but my cousins as well. I always wonder what their response to my death will be, how will it effect them? If so, then will be good or bad?' I tell him this, as a few tears stream down my face. 'I didn't want to mention this to you, because I didn't know what your response would be.' I admitted to him as I look down at the ground. I sit down next to the flowers in the middle of the Resistance's Camp.

If you expect for me to laugh and to mock at your fears then you're a fool for thinking that." Neltharion said, making my eyes go wide in shock, as I stare at my right hand. "Many different beings, including powerful warriors and gods such myself have the same fears of that of mortals. It's just that some of us either, don't let it affect us, some let it consume our way of thinking, or we use it as motivation. Motivation to make us stronger than before and to make sure we fight, and live to see another day." Neltharion said, giving me some inspiration for his words. "So do not beat yourself up so much and don't fear the future, only focus on what's happening now. So stand up and hold your head up high in the sky hatchling, cause this is only the beginning of the many trials you'll have to face. The question is, will you run away like a coward, or face the challenge head on and become the victor in the end?" Neltharion asked me. I chuckle softly at this and get up from the ground, dusting off my pants. Smirking with more confidence and with better morale, I crack my fingers out loud.

"I believe you already know the answer to that one Neltharion" I said, as I continue my walk towards 2B, 9S, and Anemone. I hear Neltharion response was a chuckle before he cuts the connection. I look towards Pod 1337 and gesture it stay close by, as I continue my walk to my designated area. I walk up to the three androids talking to one another.

"I heard that there are some dangerous machines in the Desert. This is very unusual for something like this to happen. Not only that, but more machine lifeforms have become more hostile ever since the day you and the rest of your Squadron brought back Xavier unconscious that day." Anemone said, with a somewhat of a worried tone in her voice. I see 2B and 9S staring at each other, with their respective pods beside them. They was about to say something about the issue but I spoke up before they could.

"Awww don't worry your pretty little head about me Anemone. I'll be fine, I only got to worry about the bigger threat and getting stronger, but I do appreciate your concern for my well being." I said with a smile on my face. Anemone look up towards my direction with wide eyes, and a small smile appear on her face from my appreciation. 2B and 9S nod their heads at my direction, as I nod my head back towards them.

"So what's the situation here Anemone?" I asked, crossing my arms against my chest.

"I was discussing that their has dangerous machines in the Desert, and that I want them to examine the area. They'll meet someone I know in the area, to give them clearance to investigate." Anemone said.

'Wait isn't this the mission to where..." I thought to myself, as my brows furrow.

"Yes it's the mission to where they encounter the brother machine lifeforms. And by no doubt that with your second encounter with them, they'll try to capture and use you as a lab rat. Especially the long haired one." Neltharion said, giving me his prediction.

'We won't know for sure. So let's leave that prediction for later, right now we should focus back on the mission into the Desert.' I replied back to him.

"Alright, oh and make sure to be more careful on this mission, this whole thing is giving me bad vibes." Neltharion warned me, as I nod my head in agreement.

'Yeah it feels like the big fight with Adam is only going to be the calm before the storm.' I said to Neltharion as I cut the connection when 9S tries to get my attention. "Hm? Yes Nines?" I asked, surprising him that I know his nickname.

"W-Wait did you just called me nines?" 9S said, shocked and happy that I knew his nickname. But that makes him pause for a moment he realized that I knew of his nickname. "How did you know my nickname was Nines?" 9S asked me, a bit suspicious that I knew his nickname. I look to my left and see 2B looking at me, awaiting my answer.

"It's simple really. Your number type is 9S. So I just guess you would prefer to be called nines instead of 9S." I said, as I walk past the both of them. I feel their eyes upon me as I turn around to face all three of them. "Well? What are we waiting for, an invitation? Let's go to the Desert, and get this mission over with." I said with a smirk on my face. Internally I was sighing in relief, as I almost fucked up if I didn't thought of that.

"Are you sure it's wise for you to go on a mission? Especially since you just fully recovered." 2B said, with a hint of worry in her voice. I see 9S nod his head in agreement with 2B.

"Hey don't worry about me, I'll be fine. Plus I can use my Maso energy to heal my wounds whenever I'm badly hurt." I reassured them, as they look at each other for a minute or two. After waiting a few more minutes, they look back towards me and gives me a reluctant nod. Seeing this I smile in gratitude at them. "Thanks you guys. I'm not so weak that I'll be defenseless, I can fight too, I'm not the one wants to sit on the sidelines for long. And if I can turn the tides of battle to our favor then I'll do it." I said with a fiery resolve in my tone, as they smile at me.

"You're already plan on going out on a mission?" I heard a voice from behind me say, turning around and I see Devola and Popola walking up to me, Popola was the one who spoke to me.

"But of course I am sweetheart." I chuckle softly as I saw Popola stammer a bit, as a small blush creeps up on her face from being called that. "I'm filled ip on Maso, and I'm ready to slice and dice some hostile Machines." I said, punching my fist into my palm. Devola then walk up beside Popola and chuckles a bit at my antics.

"True, but still make sure you take it easy out there though, if not be prepared her Popola's lecture and scolding if you come back worse for wear." Devola said while chuckling out loud, her sister yells at her, grabbing her by the shoulders and shake her back and forth.

Taking this as my chance I beckoned both 2B and 9S to follow me, before the twins notice my absence. As we begin to head out, Popola suddenly grip my wrist. This made me stop for a moment and turn to her.

"Yes Popola? What is it?" I asked, looking at her in confusion. I see Popola hold on to something that seems like a ancient relic of sort. The relic look like a medallion with a majestic look to it. 6 pair of wings that is a mixture of that of angelic feathers, but it keeps the same dragonic structure like any dragon would have. The relic was a golden bronze color, as the eyes were a azure blue color. As it has a snarl on his face as it shows it's pearly white teeth. I couldn't help but to look at it in awe by the design, as I hear Popola giggle softly at my reaction.

"Think of this as a good luck charm. To make sure you'll make it back here alive." Popola said, as she place her hands on top of his hand with the medallion in it. I look at her with a small look of shock on her face, before I chuckle a bit and gives her a smirk.

"Don't worry about me Popola, I don't plan on dying today. I'll make back to you and Devola alive, though I can't promise to you if I'll come in full health." I said, with a semi serious expression on my face, as she looks up at me in worry and concern. Then my expression soften up a bit and I place my hand on her left cheek, instantly she leans into it as I gently caress it. "But I'll do my best to make sure I'll return back alive, even if I'm hanging by a thread, I'll come back to you two." I smile brightly, chuckling softly as well.

I look down to see her smiling up at me with a few tears in her eyes, before she hugs me tightly, panicking a bit from the sudden hug. I then calm down and slowly return the hug, ignoring the looks from many different androids. I look at see Devola looking at us with a smile on her face, but her eyes is mixed with happiness, jealousy, and envy. Chuckling softly as I mouthing off the words "don't worry I'll give you hugs as well." Laughing a bit as I saw her blush on her face. He let go of her and continues to smile at her, as he walk back and turns around and runs off to catch up to 2B and 9S.

'I guess I got to fight harder than ever, since I got a promise to keep.' I said to Neltharion, as he chuckles out loud as I hear him growl in anticipation.

"I hope you can live up to my expectations hatchling. Cause I want you to cause a lot of devastation and destruction. If you're planning on being my successor, then you will have to live to the titles." Neltharion said with some glee in his voice, making me chuckle in response as I run behind both 2B and 9S, as my pod following me close by.

'I hope so too Neltharion, cause that's gonna be a daunting task for me. But I believe that I'll meet your expectations soon enough.' I thought as we walk out of the entrance to the Resistance Camp and back into City Ruins.

"Sooo Xavier... what was like when the humans use to live on this planet?" 9S asked me, making me shake my head in amusement, Already knowing that this would happen. I turn to look at him, chuckling sheepishly.

"Well... I'm not from here, I'm just born on a different version of Earth. One to where it doesn't look like this, and to where humans still walked the Earth." I explained, having his full attention as well as 2B's attention, but only enough for her to listen as we make our way to the Desert.

"Really!? What's it's like there? What year you live in? What is the population in your world? What the humans in your world like?" He asked in a rapid section, as I give him a sheepish smile. I notice that 2B was looking back and was watching our little interaction with a small smile on her face. I smile at this and place a hand on 9S's shoulder, the smile still present on my face.

"Well let's see... it's mostly peaceful over there, though there is a war going on between two countries and it involves us Americans. The year is 2022 from where I'm from. The population is well 7 billion people on Earth, I think it's close to 8 billion..." I said, noticing the shocked expression on their faces, 2B stopping in front of us and turning around to look at me.

"Wow!! Over 7 billion humans!? That's a lot of humans!" 9S said in awe and wonder, making me chuckle and want to have the urge to pat him on the head, but I resisted the urge and answered his last question.

"To answer your last question, it's... rather complicated to explain..."

"What do you mean? I'm sure not all humans are bad from where you're at." 9S said, before he smiles at me. "I bet there's a lot out there just as kind and caring as you are." He said, prompting me to chuckle a bit, before I bust out laughing. But my laugh have no mirth, kind, and no caring nature to it. Instead it was a cold, cynical, and dark tone to it, this made the both of them feel a uncomfortable by this.

"X-Xavier?" 9S said, before I stop by I had a dark scowl on my face. "D-Did I say anything wrong about the humans in your world?" He said, feeling like a kicked puppy. This made me sigh out loud and pat him on the head, eliciting a surprise gasp from him, as his black box begins to beat faster than normal. He pushes his head into my palm. My scowl is replaced with a small smile.

"It's nothing of the sort Nines buddy, it's just that... many of them aren't really as kind and as caring as me. Hell I don't think I am either..." I said with a sadness, guilt, and some regret in my voice. This got made both 2B and 9S feel really worried for me, as 2B walked up to me and placed her hand on my shoulder and gave it a reassuring squeeze. This made me feel a bit better as I exhale softly before continuing.

"Most humans from my world have a mix views in life. Some in the Department of Justice doesn't think it's wrong to immediately gun down a person who is not of the same skin color. Politics always fight over some of the simplest things. The governments always have to make the poor suffer, while they let the rich live in lavish places. People my skin color and different others always hurt or kill innocent lives. Sexism is still a thing, many females and males always talk bad about one another, and I'm not exempt from it either. Some of your family members are hypocrites, hell most people are hypocrites, again I'm not completely exempt either. And lastly we're not advancing as a species, as a whole." I said, sighing out as that was a lot to say. I notice that the both of them was thinking and contemplating about what I said. Seeing this I let out a huff and clapped my hands together, getting their attention.

"But despite that all I said, there still some good out there. People voice their opinions about the stuff the things that be happening out there in the world, the crimes, the discrimination, the racism, the sexism, there's still people who doesn't abuse their power in the justice system. There's people who would go out of there way to help wild animals, stray cats and dogs, and others people, heck some of us would lay down our lives for those who have a kind soul or our those who are close to us. And includes me as well. And some of us wants to live a life with our family one day as well... with that special someone..." I said with a smile on my face. I clench my fist and shake my head from those thoughts and sigh softly from explaining some of the pros and cons about humans.

"Wow... you was right Zae, humans are complicated, and are difficult to understand." 9S said, while he scratch his head. This got a laugh out of me, smiling at him.

"Yeah that's true, but that what's makes us human to be honest. But hey, at least you're not the only who is confused by this. Even us humans are confused by our behavior, and actions as well." I said, as I move ahead the both of them as they follow after me, as well as our pods as well.

"Really? Can you tell us more about them?" 9S asked in excitement, like how a little brother would to their big brother. This made me laugh, eliciting a big smile from me.

"Sure! Which one do you want to start from?" I said, chuckling softly at his child like excitment.

(2B POV)

I couldn't help but to smile at their interaction, as they get into the subject about humanity and some of their cultures. But I couldn't help but to remember on the topic he mentioned about having a family. Noticing his expression was a mixture of emotions. But the ones that stood out was want, longing, anger, sadness, and the bitter acceptance. I couldn't help but to think.

'What would garner such a reaction like those four from him? Did something happen to him that involves his family, or is it him wanting one himself?' I thought, feeling bad that he feel such a way, looking at him once more. Seeing him and 9S laughing about a topic, I couldn't stop the smile from forming on my face when I see him smiling and laughing, it gave me hope that I'll be redeemed someday. 'Maybe he can help me out this cycle of me killing 9S, and maybe I don't have to suffer no longer. And maybe... I could be there so he doesn't suffer anymore.' I thought with a smile on my face, a small blush creeps up on my face. Before I could say something, Pod 042 get a dinged.

"Pod 042 to Operator. Coordinates confirmed for location specified by Resistance Leader." Pod 042 said, garnering our attention.

"Understood, 042. Placing marker on target. The desert heat is going to make resupply efforts difficult 2B." 6O said to me as she continued. "Please make sure you're ready before you go." 6O said before she end the transmission.

"Alright let's not waste any more time, let's go take out these hostile machine lifeforms." Xavier said, with a smirk on his face. His left hand reached for his blade, [Ryūjin No Shi] he called, to which I think it translates to Dragon God of Death. It's fitting for such a blade like that, since it can cut through most machine lifeforms with ease. And he takes at speeds that all androids move at, as we follow closely behind him, not wanting him to get badly injured again.

'We'll make sure you don't die. Not on our watch.' I thought, before I mutter out our signature phrase, but with more determination in my voice, since we now have something to fight for.

"Glory to Mankind."

(3rd POV)

As they venture through the city City Ruins and head towards the Desert area, the group of three ran into some large bipedal machine lifeforms. 2B and 9S told Xavier to stay back and let them handle it, to which he agreed but he told them to let him handle the next group of machine lifeforms. They was hesitant at first but agreed to the terms.

So Xavier hung back and sat down on the ground, watching them take care of the group of large bipedal machine lifeforms. He whistles from the display of 2B and 9S's teamwork and attacks, with him staring at 2B in awe as she practically dances gracefully around the machine lifeforms.

'Damn watching her fight like that makes me think she would have even impress even the likes of Dante or Vergil from how stylish she's fighting.' He said in his mental link with Neltharion.

"Yes indeed, this Dante fellow would probably give her SSS rank from her performance." Neltharion said, impressed by how the way she moves. "Though I believe Vergil would probably give S rank though." He said, making me chuckle out loud from saying the ranks from Devil May Cry, and from how accurate he guessed their grade for her.

'You're not wrong their buddy, those are some pretty accurate grades from the Sons of Sparda.' Zae said, still chuckling at the accuracy. 'But I think Vergil should at least raise it up by one. It's not easy battling and moving so gracefully in heels.' Zae gave my input, with Neltharion agreeing with him.

"Why yes I believe his brother would say that to him." Neltharion said, laughing a bit as Zae saw her finish off the last one with a roundhouse kick into the wall, exploding on contact.

Xavier then gets up and clap his hands, walking up to them with an impressed smile on his face.

"That is quite impressive and amazing you two. I'm really by how you can move and fight in heels 2B, since a lot of female humans find it difficult to even walk in heels." Xavier said as he stops right in front of them.

"T-Thank you Sir, it's nothing special." 2B said, blushing from the praise. but then she felt something warm on the top of her head, getting a cute little squeak out of her.

"Oh~? what cute little reaction you just gave me~" Xavier said, chuckling softly as the blush on her face gets bigger. She looks up at him and glares through her blindfolds at him, even tho he couldn't see her eyes, he still got the intention. She gently swatted away his hand, eliciting a chuckle from him as she turned around and walked off.

"Emotions are prohibited..." 2B said, but the blush on her face remains.

"Not from that tone it's not~" Xavier teased her once more, as her lights up like a Christmas tree. she can hear 9S in the back stifling his laughter. She quickly turn around to face him, making him go stiff and begins to whistle to himself. She gives Xavier one more glare, prompting him to raise his hands in mock surrender.

"Let's get a move on." She said, getting back into her serious, stoic persona. The boys nods their head and follows behind her.

After 45 seconds of running they see another group of large bipedal machine lifeforms, but this time there's one Goliath class machine lifeform. both 2B and 9S was about to get ready to attack the group but was stopped by Xavier, as he walk past them and towards the group of Machine lifeforms. this made both androids worry for him, noticing this he spoke out to them.

"Don't worry about me you guys, I got this in the bag." Xavier said, unsheathing [Ryūjin No Shi], getting the attention of the machine lifeforms. he turn his back to them, a smirk appears on his face as one of them charges towards him. "These guys barely even counts as a warm up." He said, spinning around and kicking upward, as the large bipedal machine lifeform jumps up in the air and goes in for the kill.

But it was immediately stopped by Xavier blocking it's attack with a barrier over his head. then out of nowhere, a crimson energy blade strikes it in the back and it exits out through it chest, exploding immediately after the attack. All while Xavier brings his outstretched leg back down to the ground and turns to face the other machine lifeforms, to whom was just now advancing towards him, with the Goliath-Class enemy is slowly moving towards him.

"Come, I'll gladly you guys back to your creators in the afterlife... but as junkyard scrap heap!!" He said, with a somewhat of a battle hungry grin on his face. the first one made to him, and tears it's fist back, before launching it forward at me. I sidestep the attack with ease, feeling the gust of wind behind the attack. I then see it prepare for another attack, swing it's left fist upwards.

SLICE!

The sound of metal being cut could be heard as none of the machine lifeforms, nor the two androids could register what just happened. then a thud could be heard and they saw it's left arm landing a couple of feet away from it.

Click!

Was the sound of Xavier sheathing his blade, still with the same smirk on his face. He then launch himself at the machine lifeform once more, before he swing his sheathed weapon at it and struck it on it's torso. it staggers back from the attack as he swing at it again, before he grip the handle and swing his sword upward from the sheath. this leaves a huge gash across it's torso, launching it up high in the air as well. Xavier then brace himself, a somehow parries the other large bipedal's attack, before he swing at it's leg joint and slicing it's leg completely off.

He then parries another large bipedal's attack, but this time he counterattack it. He swings his blade in a horizontal diagonal slash, completely slicing it in half and jumps back to avoid the explosion. Seeing large bipedal #4 and #2 close by he dashes off towards them with the intent to kill. Noticing this #4 prepares to attack, but both of it's arms are missing. before it could register, Xavier moves in again and rapidly slash at #4, as countless gashes appear all over it's body. Then with a single powerful kick to the abdomen, I send it towards #2 and it explodes on contact, destroying #2 as well.

Xavier then sigh softly, walking towards the Goliath-Class machine. but then he stop and gets into a Iaido stance, patiently waiting for #1 to fall down at the right time. The last large bipedal comes into view, as both of my hands are on my weapon. I then remember a scene from a certain samurai, dark souls like game and chuckles softly to myself. With my right hand on the handle, and my left hand on the sheath as my thumb extend the blade slightly out of it. once he did that, everything around him slows down, as the machine lifeform comes into his view and Xavier immediately begins to slice at it countless times. He moves at speeds too fast for even 2B and 9S to register, they could see nothing but a black and red blur.

Then he slides to a stop in front of 2B and 9S, making them step back a few steps. He slowly stands up and holds his sword up sideways, swinging outward to get rid of the orange oil. He then slowly sheaths his blade back into it's scabbard, as the last large bipedal explodes behind him.

2B and 9S couldn't stop their jaws dropping, as they was left in speechless awe from the display they witness their creator do.

"Oh wow... incredible. He just destroyed four of them, by himself like it was nothing...!" 9S whispered in awe, as 2B help but to nod her head at this.

"Damn it all." they heard Xavier say, as they saw him look the remains with a...dissatisfied look on his face? "And here I thought they would have landed at least a single hit on me. Tch, reality is often disappointing..." He said, confusing the both of them.

"You was expecting to land a hit on you?" 2B asked, shocked to hear him say that. just the thought of a machine lifeform to hurt her precious God will- 'Mine? W-Where did that come from?!' She thought to herself, looking off to the side so Xavier doesn't see her face.

"Yeah but I guess I had my hopes up for nothing... oh well, bagger can't be chooser." Xavier said with a shrug of his shoulders.

"But why though?" 9S asked, getting Xavier's attention. "Why do you want to get hit by one of them?" He asked again.

As the group don't know that the Goliath-Class machine was trying to run away. As it spin it's massive arms around like a helicopter. But before it could it heard The human- no The Monster utter the last words it would hear.

"[Daku Shi Doragon Surasshu]" Xavier said, as a big energy slash slice the Goliath-Class machine in half. It's two halves fall to the ground, but not before it sends a recorded message to the network, to warn all machine lifeforms still connected to the network to watch out for this Monster and to run as fast as possible.

Xavier then clicks his tongue, and sheaths his blade once more before he goes back to explaining his reasons.

"As I was saying, is to make sure that no matter how powerful I am, I can still be injured, weaken, and killed. To make sure I don't think that I'm unbeatable and unkillable as well." He said with a hint of wisdom. "That would be my own hubris if I think that." He finished with a smile on his face, getting a growl of approval from Neltharion.

"Oh... well that makes sense, right 2B?" 9S said, as he turn to look at her, but see her staring off to the side. This confuses both 9S and Xavier by her behavior, Xavier snapping his fingers at her. this gets her attention, as the both of them look at her in even more confusing. "Uhh 2B? you ok? Your face looks a bit red." 9S said, making her go stiff for a moment. before she responds with.

"I'm fine, thank you for worrying 9S." She said, walking past them and heading towards the desert. "Now c'mon, we have a mission to complete." She said, with the blush still present on her face.

Both Xavier and 9S look at each other and shrugs their shoulders, following after her, as their journey to the desert continues.

(? POV)

"So that's the one we're supposed to watch out for hm~? My he's sure is a cute one~" A tall buxom, blonde haired woman said with a sultry tone, licking her lips as she watch him leave. "I can't wait to make him my pet~ I'll make him scream out my name, and begging for more~" she said, gently fondling with one of her breast.

"F-Five can you n-not do that in front of me? I-it's gross..." A brown haired girl said a few feet away from the now named Five, squirming a bit in discomfort. she then look back towards the boy, as a blush appear on her face once she saw him smiling and laughing with the other boy. "T-Though you're about him being cute... Ah!" She yells out loud, a huge blush on her face as Five gropes her breasts from behind. "S-Sister!?" she exclaims.

"Oh don't be so shy Four~ I'm sure he wouldn't mind you joining in when we're having some fun with one another~" Five said to her now named sister, Four.

"F-Five! a-ahh~! stop it! we're s-supposed to keep an eye on him! N-Not groping e-each other!" Four said in between gasps and moans, until she finally pushed her sister off of her and glares at her with a cute pout on her face, her cheeks a scarlet red color.

"Oh lighten up Four. I'm just trying to make sure you find a man to help you lose your virginity is all." Five said causally, causing Four's face to turn into a tomato. But before she could say anything, the both of them heard their sister open up the mental channel between the two.

'Five. Four. Report.' A mature woman voice could be heard through the link, as the both of them gain a serious expression on their faces.

'Nothing particular happened yet, though he display skills with a blade.' Four said, getting an interested hum from the mature voice.

'I see... did you gauged on how skilled he is?' The voice asked, as Five answered her question.

'He's more like an amateur, with close to no experience on how to properly handle a blade, self taught most likely.' Five said, before her tone takes on more of a sultry tone again. 'I wonder if his got any experience with his other "sword" though~' She said, already feeling moist in between her legs. this makes Four uncomfortable once more.

'That doesn't matter. What matters is his skill with a blade, and his powers.' Said the voice. 'Speaking of his power... was there any differences from before?' The voice asked the both of them.

'Yes, but it's only a little bit more than usual.' Four said, with Five humming in agreement.

'Good then it's time for us to make our move then. Continue to watch him, and when the time comes we shall reveal ourselves to this world and make it ours.' The voice said, both Five and Four humming in agreement.

'Oh and before you go.' Five said through the link, getting the voice's attention. 'Once we captured him, can I keep him as my personal pet~? It would be a waste to kill him just like that~' Five said, as the voice was silent for a moment or two. Then it spoke.

'Fine, but know to keep him on a tight leash Five. He doesn't look like the type to break so easily.' The voice said, getting a seductive giggle from Five.

'Don't worry One.' Five said to the now named One, as she watched the boy slash at one of small Automatons into pieces, while having a smirk on his face. 'He's a man. and men are simple creatures that want something they desire~ and this young man is no difference~' Five said, while licks her lips sensually that would cause most men to be weak to the knees.

'Good. until then.' One cuts the connection and Five and Four nods at each other, before they leap off from building to building and into the desert.

Chapter 6 Pt2 Meeting Jackass!

And that's Chapter 5 folks! Also the Reveal of Intoners!? Yup! The sisters of Zero has entered the stage!! I've been thinking about adding them into the story to give myself a bit of challenge, cause reality is like a cruel mistress.

Anyways! I know what y'all are thinking, and you say anything, this chapter was gonna be long. like REALLY long, so I'm making it a four part because I introduce the 3 out of 6 Intoners. Yeah read that right, 6 Intoners. Back on topic, I'll try put out more chapters along the way, but idk when since I'm filling out for a job now.
